Salt & Time is a full-service butcher shop, salumeria and restaurant featuring fresh cut meats from sustainable Texas ranches. THey have a wide selection of house made sausages, salumi and charcuterie, as well as fine artisan foods, coffee, beer and wine. Pick your meat and they will cook it up for you.

Food was ok. Service was very long. but what got me was the extra 15% that they snuck in... not honest. not fair. i would not come back to this place. i feel sorry for the staff that has to deal with those overcbarges on a regular basis.

Service was mediocre at best. Had to ask three times for water. Charcuterie board was sparse and food did not seem fresh. Cesar salad was 16 dollars and two of us decided to split a salad when the wait staff told us it was large. They then proceeded to charge us 21.00 for the shared salad and they did not split it for us. It was essentially a head of un-chopped romaine with whole anchovies on it and no dressing. It was all over priced, cold, and just wasn't good. They also added a 63.00 "service charge" to our 550.00 bill to pay a "fair wage and offer health insurance to our employees" on top of a hundred dollar tip. If I had seen this charge prior to paying the bill I would have refused. I don't mind paying over 600.00 for a fine meal with good service but I do mind paying for bad food, poor service, and I especially do not care to provide benefits to employees that do not work for me. If you dine there, pay close attention to the bill before you pay. Gave them one star because I had to click on one to write this review.
