Wide variety of food and drinks selection, get the coffee ☕ flight, you won't be disappointed. The pastries were fresh and delicious. The baristas and bartenders offered excellent customer service. I couldn't quite understand how it was a 40 minute wait in the middle of the afternoon on Friday when half of the restaurant and outside were empty but again super nice staff and I got a seat at the bar. Overall experience 8/10 I would come back and actually dine in, food looked great. The baby in the pastry was a nice touch

The atmosphere at this place was relaxing and inviting. They have a lot of beautiful plants. It was very clean. The food was ok. I had bacon, eggs, homemade turkey sausage, hash browns, and toast. The bacon, toast, and hash browns were good. The eggs were overcooked(burned) and had NO seasoning. The turkey sausage was ok. We also had the hummus avacado toast, which was very good. Our server was friendly and polite and very attentive. I ordered the Irish coffee, which tasted like water with a little flavor (I exchanged it for something else). We also had the espresso panna latte, which had no flavor, we had to add an espresso shot for flavor, and it was just ok after that. The salt and honey espresso was the best.

Dude, okay, I'm not gonna lie.. This place is great. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but me and my friends got the best waiter I've ever had at a restaurant. I can't remember her name sadly but it was my friends 21 b day and she took the time to take a photo of the first time his ID was checked for a drink and had fun with it. She was insanely patient and even showed us the menu. Atmosphere? It was great. A perfect spot to chill. And it was clean too. And lastly the food. Me and my friends were stunned by the quality. I got the chicken and waffles but the waffles were savory and it worked. Drunken monkey was super filling and just perfect if you love peanut butter. And we got this pomegranate cocktail and yeah, that was great. Overall I'd happily return.

Google
Food here was delicious! My friend and I split a bunch of plates, including the baklava pancakes, midnight express, and the loaded shwarma fries. She got a cocktail, the baklava dream, and I got an espresso flight and later on the salt and honey latte because I liked it from the flight! We ate on the patio which was nice since the weather was good. Definitely would recommend it to anyone!

Haven’t been to Salt + Honey since they moved to their bigger spot on Texas Avenue. They are still a warm and cozy place to enjoy some delicious food and beverages. Love that they have an outdoor patio area so that my pup could join us for a great brunch date. He highly recommends their 🥓 bacon and the golden milk latte was so delicious 😋

Google
Had a great Sunday breakfast at Salt+Honey! Had to get there early, there's often a wait if you go too late. The food was absolutely amazing, I wish I'd been able to order several more dishes, but the plates were large and filling. I'll just have to go back and try all the other delectable sounding entrées! Everything was fresh, obviously made in house, and the flavors fit together wonderfully. Wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and seemed to enjoy their jobs, which is great to see.

Google
Amazing experience at Salt + Honey Bakery Cafe. The staff were super friendly. The restaurant was visibly clean and calming. The food and drink were amazing (coffee, tea, tacos and Mother Clucker)!! We finally found our spot in El Paso!!

Google
The food here was the Midest of mids. The food and presentation looks good but the taste isn’t. I got the chicken and waffle which was probably the best thing on the menu. The tacos are like a 6.5/10 at best. You need to get tobacco sauce and eggs added into the taco to make it somewhat flavorful. Most of the items on the menu lacked flavor. Would not come here again!

Yelp
Highlight: Baklava Pancakes and Golden Milk Latte Three of the most fluffy and moist pancakes I have ever tried. I thought the vanilla bean ice cream was whipped cream but was pleasantly surprised by how refreshing and cooling adding the ice cream to the dish was. Baklava was tasty but a bit too sweet for me. The latte is just as described, and I could taste all of the individual ingredients listed (turmeric, coconut milk, cinnamon, ginger and honey). Overall, it tasted like a warm glass of honey milk with turmeric, also on the sweeter side. Hospitality: Friendly staff and fast service. Our server was super nice! Honorable Mention: Went during peak hours for a Saturday lunch so the wait was about 1 hour for normal seating and 30 minutes for the bar, which is first come, first serve. Lots of seating, indoor and outdoors.

Yelp
I was recently in the area and read that Salt + Honey was a great option for gluten free choices...and it was, but the hostess is terrible and not worth her salt. We came in as a party of 4 on a Saturday morning around 11:20 am and expected that there would be a bit of a wait. The hostess said it could be about 40-45 minutes and we said we'd be happy to be seated inside or outside--whatever was fastest. Now, I did try to make a reservation online but didn't see anything on their website and someone at the bar mentioned they don't do same-day reservations, so I assume you can call during business hours to make reservations as long as it's not on the same day. As we watched the wait list continue to dwindle, I did notice that the group sizes being seated before us didn't always make the most sense. And after almost an hour of waiting, I noticed that a 5-person party had been moved off the list to be seated while our 4-person party still waited to be sat. At this point, I was deeply frustrated because the seating made no sense to me, so I went to ask the hostess how soon we might expect to be seated. Lo and behold, there was a completely open table just behind her but it was being held for a group of 5....who wasn't there when our group of 4 has waited an hour at this point. So we can't sit there, but we CAN sit in any of the plenty of open seating they had outside?! Are you serious?!!! She even asked to confirm I was okay with being outside as if I hadn't previously said this and watched her write it down on my reservation.. I'm usually not one to make a fuss, but we were headed to the airport after this and it felt incredibly absurd to wait an hour to be seated when there was plenty of seating available. I will say that the food was good and drinks were excellent and if the hostess had seated us appropriately, I would have given this place a 5-star. Our favorite was the Shawarma Loaded Fries. 12/10, would get again. I had the Londoner with gluten free bread and the bread was really delicious, the green chili cheese hash browns were fabulous, and the house-made turkey sausage was divinely spiced. My sister had the Baklava pancakes and it was essentially just regular pancakes with a piece of baklava and more traditional baklava toppings. Good, but not amazing. Our friends both ordered the chicken + waffles and said it was good, but needed more syrup! I also grabbed a gluten free muffin for the flight and it was great! As far as drinks, I had a Strawberry Matcha Latte, a Pistachio Rose Latte, and a Salt + Honey Latte (this one was an oopsie - someone else ordered iced and they brought hot!) All were great, but the matcha was my favorite! Food was good. Drinks were great. Server was very polite, but disappeared at odd times including when we would naturally want the check. Ambiance was fine and looked upscale, but I'm salty about the seating. And the hostess gets 0 stars in my book. And the biggest slap in the face was to leave the restaurant after eating quickly only to see 4 people seated at the table we couldn't sit at because they were holding it for a group of 5. Be so for real.

Yelp
Clever menu, popular place, great service. When I saw they had a flight of espresso I had that feeling like Dorothy Boyd in the movie Jerry Maguire "you had me at hello." The espresso flight was probably one of the most creative things I've seen on a menu and in person in a long time. They were all very sweet and very clever. Had the Aquiles Heel, it was a lot of food. Got a little bit frustrated trying to get some fork traction on the circular metal bowl, which didn't seem to have any grip with the table. Aside from that it was a very nice dining experience and I would definitely return!

Yelp
Great place for breakfast and brunch, or simply cocktails and appetizers. Always delicious, busy, and good times.

Yelp
The place is fantastic!!! The service was outstanding and the food was awesome. I had the steak Benedict and it was to die for. I live 2 miles from this place and it is my go to now. You wont regret going here.

Yelp
I understand the appeal of places like Salt + Honey, but the food fell short of expectations. Like many modern brunch spots, Salt + Honey relies on natural light that spills in through the windows, a splash of greenery, and some modern decorations. Our waitress was friendly and super patient with our family of 14. Outside of the ambiance and service, the food was average or miss. My eggs benedict was decent but not super noteworthy, the tacos borrachos that my partner got wasn't my favorite, and other dishes like the french toast that other family members got was just a lot of bread and sugar. My favorite part of my meal was the pistachio rose latte which was a good balance of aromatic, mild sweetness, and earthy coffee flavor. The salt and honey latte was just average. Maybe I've been spoiled by great brunch, regardless it might be good to come for the vibes rather than the food.

Yelp
I have not been to Salt and Honey in years. So when the address came up I was surprised they are in a new location. As for the food, it is just as good as before. You need to check out Salt and Honey.so many food choices to pick.

Yelp
Was in the area for a roadtrip, decided to stop by this cafe for lunch before heading out. I would recommend making a reservation, it was quite busy, the wait list time on a Saturday was one hour long. Bar seating is open seating. The servers are extremely friendly and provide a good atmosphere. The eggs, bacon and hash browns were really tasty. The mushrooms were a bit on the salty side. The turkey sausage was dry. Overall, it was enough to satisfy me and I would recommend trying this place!

Yelp
What a cute place! I'm from San Diego and this place reminded me of home in a sense and fulfilled my hipster dreams for the day! It's giving Hillcrest or North Park vibes. If you're jivey and spontaneous, loves to try new experiences, travel or pretend you're somewhere other than the great El Paso for a moment...this is a good place to try. If you're an American who'd fancy meeting a Mediterranean who speaks French, then bonjour baba...this menu might be for you. I'm talking baklava pancakes, croissant French toast with mascarpone cheese, golden milk, chicken schwarma fries with feta (try that for me!). You get it.. If you're not so much into any of that, but wanna bring someone who is...be like my wonderful husband and do it! Haha. You can build your own simple meal, but most dishes are exotic. Parking in the lot will need to be validated unless you have favor and find a good spot on the street. The bar sells it all if you don't mind that seating. We didn't. Otherwise, a short wait for a table may be in order. When we came on a Friday morning the wait was about 10 minutes for a table. Not bad at all. It's located on the first floor of a building shared by some sort of dermatology place if I'm not mistaken. Convenient for them. Service was decent. Nothing to rave about but certainly not a disappointment. Again, we sat at the bar so it's very casual. Check it out! Glad to check this spot off my list. I'd return gladly.

Yelp
Wow! What a place! Talk about delicious and quick. We had very delicious lattes and french toast dishes. The atmosphere was just perfect. They were very busy and parking was difficult. The service itself was lacking a little bit. Other than that I would highly highly recommend this place. Very delicious! Can't wait to come again

Yelp
Edward (bartender) set us on a great course! Paloma + aperol, midnight express was amazing and brisket torta. Pool, nap. And paradise next.

Honestly can't find and negative the food was amazing the coffee and tea was great had the brunch tacos and the shawarma loaded fries. The service was great they were supper attentive in the dining room and the patio are awesome and great when the weather is not extremely hot

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. This place is SO good! I love the vibes this place has, it has a ton of seating and a private room where you can host large parties, I believe. We got there at the right time as we didn't have to wait to be sat but when we left, definitely had a wait. The food was amazing and our server was so friendly. If we are back in El Paso, definitely coming back here.
google avatar

Yelp
Probably my favorite brunch/lunch restaurant in El paso. The vibes and food are amazing. This time I ordered the baklava pancakes a side of bacon and an ice coffee 10/10!
google avatar

Marie G.

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch places in El Paso- espresso flights, baklava pancakes, enormous piles of French Toast, a big platter of chicken and waffles- and excellent healthful choices as well! I came with a gal pal after a light workout at the gym, so we kept the food light but it was so tasty! The ambiance is so chic casual and the service is top notch.

Yelp
Stopped here on my way back home. And I'm glad I did. Service was super friendly and helpful when choosing what to eat. Since I had my dog I sat outside on their cute patio area. I had the Benedicto essentially a Benedict with a Hispanic flair. And it was great. The egg was cooked perfectly and the sauce went well with the black beans and chorizo. I also got the espresso flight. They had a lot of whipped cream and therefore on the sweeter side. Last but not least I got a tomato soup. The poblano overpowered the tomato and it was creamier than I liked but it wasn't bad. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Long wait but It is spring break. Friend ordered a brisket torta and i ordered huevos benedictos. I wasn't a fan of the cheese at all! Seemed like nacho cheese. Otherwise, it was good. For drinks, we ordered Gimlet and Baklava Dream. Both were impressive! Worth the 13$ charge for each. Gimlet was fruity and Dream was nutty and unique flavor. Great upscale drinks! Service was okay. Kinda seemed like she was annoyed by us. Other than that, visit was great!

Yelp
Rude! Rude! Rude! My husband and I are teachers and we go back in one week. We wanted to have a nice lunch at a nice spot. So we chose Salt + Honey. It took a minute to get our drinks, iced tea and a latte. Still, we stayed. We were there for 20 minutes and our server never came back. So my husband had to get up to let him know we were ready and he icily replied, I'll be right with you. Then, as my husband was walking back to me and the table, he made a face to one of the girls that was at the bar area, where the coffee machines are. So we decided obviously customer service is not top priority, so my husband AGAIN went up to the server and said we're ready for the check, he replied OK!, I'll get it right now. And let me be clear, it was not packed, in fact, it was slow. We got there today, at 1:45 and left at 2:10. Thankfully, there are other amazing restaurants on Texas now, and we went there.
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
The food was great, but service is very slow. The ambiance is fun and decor is cute - cozy space

Grecia C.

Yelp
I love the place, service and the food, my god everything here is good, just for some dishes I would say that, they can be a little overpriced but apart from that everything is perfect. Btw love their matcha
google avatar

Ciara D.

Yelp
Very hip cafe with a great vibe! The service was great and the food was amazing! We got the chilaquiles which was pretty good but our favorite was the sopas Benedict with chorizo and avocado! 10/10!

Yelp
A first-time customer trying something new on a Thursday at 11. We have been around the area a few times, but the parking has made us second-guess going in. We found parking today and decided to try this restaurant out since we had heard good things from friends. Walked in and were told there was a wait time of thirty minutes, so we decided to wait and look around. There is more parking in the lot that you can pay for and have it validated inside. We did not test this, however, since there was parking open on the other side of the building. By the time we were told we had a table, it was around 40 minutes (keep in mind there were many tables open when we were told there was a wait), we overheard some people as they left, saying they had waited 40 min to an hour or saying that it was hours out of their day as they left. That being said, here is the review: Service: Greeter wasn't very nice however, the server was very friendly. We got our drinks relatively quickly, but since it wasn't our waitress handing out the drinks, we were done with our drinks before we could order anything. It took around a half hour from ordering to get our food and 15 minutes between getting our drinks and getting to order food. Unsure if this is a lack of staff issue or a lack of kitchen issue. We saw four servers bussing one table and at the time of our food there was only one other couple waiting to be served. Food/drink: Water from the pitcher wasn't that great. The Salt and Honey latte was very good and not too sweet and had just the right amount of cinnamon. I was surprised at the strawberry matcha having dried strawberry on top but it smelled very nice and provided a nice flavor without overpowering the matcha. The matcha was a bit powdery but that's being picky for a matcha lover. Food was very good. The tacos borrachos had a good flavor, however, my dining partner said it didn't have any spice and only a mild lime and chile flavor. We recommend asking for more lime. They do not come apart easily since the hashbrowns had made the tacos hard to separate. The Cubano sandwich was very good, however, the one modification we asked for was no mustard and they brought it with lots of mustard. When it was sent back, it was obviously just scraped off and still in the bread, but it wasn't overwhelming enough not to eat the sandwich. A very nice flavor of meat with a soft bolillo bread. The fries were crisp but had enough potato to give a nice flavor and consistency. Ambiance: Music was pretty loud but enjoyable. Had to speak a bit loudly to hear each other. We saw a few patrons leaving with their dog and one person sat down with their dog, so I believe they are pet friendly, at least with outside dining. Plants were cute and the outside air was nice. Table was very wobbly. Price: A little on the pricier side. They also have a 3% charge they add to every ticket. The waitress said they take it off the bill if you pay with cash, however, this was not upfront as a card charge, and it's already added into the total. I would be aware of exactly how much you pay and how much you are getting back if you do pay with cash. Misc: I recommend asking for the bathroom code before eating. The bathroom is in the front right outside the main restaurant area. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off in the restaurant as we were leaving before we could check it out. Unsure if they have reservations, but unless you have a 2 hour window for lunch, I would recommend somewhere else. This time was with two people on a Thursday, so I imagine it would be more for a larger group on a busier day of the week. The food was great so if you don't mind the wait, this place might be great for you. Some people were a bit more dressed up, so it might be a nice date spot or business place if there is enough space and time available.

Yelp
Had some awesome Chilaquiles and a delicious cardamom Turkish coffee martini. Service was excellent. I'd go back anytime and highly recommend. I will warn that it's busy, so be patient.
google avatar

Anngie S.

Yelp
Just yum. The flavors are amazing... the coffee, so good! Love the ambience and smells.. sweet meets salty and perfect flaky goodness! I ate everything and wanted more! Will be back when in town again!
google avatar

Yen P.

Yelp
Awesome brunch/breakfast spot with an open and vibrant dining space! Our table had the chicken and waffles, eggs benedict, and baklava pancakes (yum). Everything turned out delicious!
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
Parking is no hassle. There was a short wait time of around 10 mins. Their pomegranate margarita is very refreshing and fruity. I would rate their chicken and waffles a 8/10. I would definitely comeback to try different things their menu. I am currently writing this review in a food coma. The only thing I did not like is that the music is kind of loud and the seating/table layout is very near another table.
google avatar

Georgina F.

Yelp
Great food and ambiance. I sat at the bar Penny and Hannah are just a delight and great baristas!

Tati V.

Yelp
We paid 20 dollars for parking for two vehicles because we were told we would be refunded the amount through salt+honey bakery cafe. Although the gentleman at the front briefly assisted us, we were ultimately told that there was no way to be reimbursed, despite being assured earlier that we would be. Great, so we were seated, we waited about ten minutes before we realized we hadn't been greeted. We had to wave down the server who had been walking past us. Not a great dining experience, food was fantastic, big portions. Good variety of coffee made the menu memorable. We hope in the future the parking issue can be addressed as well as the service to match the quality of the food.
google avatar

Travis D.

Yelp
Excellent service from beginning to end. I was seated immediately and greeted by the wait staff promptly. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. The portions are extremely impressive and flavorful. Thank you Solomon for an awesome experience.
google avatar

Cynthia A.

Yelp
Had a great brunch with family. Great service and even better food!! Wait time was long but worth the wait. Understandable due to being a Saturday mid day.
google avatar

Ela A.

Yelp
One of my top places to have brunch! It was my first time having the Brunch board: savory sweet waffles, a cute little jar of honey and a cute little jar of strawberry jam, yogurt and granola, everything bagel, sausage, bacon, grapes, sliced strawberries, and blueberries. Eggs can be added. Pistachio rose latte (very sweet... I didn't finish it) but delicious flavor
google avatar

Chengru L.

Yelp
Great food and great ambiance! This place is super popping. The weekend wait time was over an hour and even on a Tuesday for brunch we had to wait 30 minutes. Well worth the wait though. The salt and honey latte was perfect, very creamy and delicious. I got the chicken and waffles and my friend got the Londoner. The chicken and waffles were well seasoned and the chicken was perfectly crispy. This is probably one of the best brunch spots in El Paso.

Sofia G.

Yelp
My favorite are the tacos borrachos and the strawberry matcha! I like to add sweetener to my strawberry matcha bc it's not that sweet but it is very delicious!
google avatar

Helen H.

Yelp
There weren't any tables available, so we sat at the bar. It worked out perfectly, because there were outlets for us to charge our phones at the bar. There are also hooks underneath to hang your purses/ jackets. I ordered the Huevos Benedictos. I usually don't like to order Benedicts because I don't like English muffins, but they use sopes as a base instead. It comes with a choice of fries, salad, or soup of the day. I went with soup because it was mushroom soup and I love mushrooms. Overall, an enjoyable meal.
google avatar

Melanie B.

Yelp
Wow! Brunch was fantastic at this cute and cozy place! They don't take brunch reservations (at least not on weekends) and I think we got there just in time to get a table right away. Service was spot on. Our server was friendly and super efficient. The food! Everything we had was delicious! The only complaint I have is that my latte wasn't very hot at all, but it had a good flavor. I'd recommend brunch here if you're ever in El Paso!
google avatar

Claudia C.

Yelp
We seat at the bar and Eddie was super attentive and had great food recommendations, he made sure our brunch experience was unforgettable !
google avatar

Gladis E.

Yelp
Very modern looking spot. Definitely what I was looking for in regard to ambiance, however the dishes we ordered were a disappointment. Chilaquiles were extra dry as was the Cuban torta. These two babies weren't made with love and I was so sad to eat such mediocre food. Won't be coming back:(

Javier C.

Yelp
Nice-looking restaurant with a modern open-concept layout, but unfortunately the service was lacking. We waited over 10 minutes to be seated despite available tables, and nearly another 10 before anyone took our drink order. Staff didn't check in on us, offer refills, or ask if we wanted anything else. We had planned to order pastries but ran out of time waiting. Food was average. Overall, decent spot let down by poor service.
google avatar

Arge R.

Yelp
The food nothing to do with the advertisement on website... I order the Londoner, Brought me scrambled eggs, instead of fried eggs, tiny pieces of burnt turkey sausage and food was cold. My boyfriend ordered the "huevos benedictos" the sope was cold with an over cooked egg ... the ambiance felt new, disorganized and employees seemed lost... like the guy at the coffee bar... Bad first experience. I was really looking forward to liking it. We're disappointed wish I could get my money back! This restaurant needs a better manager Food is overrated

George G.

Yelp
We ordered the hummus avocado toast, the croissant french toast and the brisket torta and... all dishes were unbeleivable delicious! Lately, we have been very disappointed with some recent culinary experiences with other casual restaurants in El Paso, but Salt & Honey gave me back hope that somebody is doing the right thing. Great food, great service and great ambiance. Well done Salt & Honey!!!

Yelp
This is a new place (for us) we decided to try in our quest for different menu offerings and supporting small local restaurants. There is a wait time, it's a popular place. People come here after working out (ew). It's in a location I would consider fancy people to frequent. Anyway. I ordered The Londener. Turkey sausage, way too spicy. The half a mushroom roasted for the meal was good, but so tiny. The hashbrowns with cheese and chile were good, albeit cold by the time they arrived at the table. They could do with less balsamic vinegar on the roasted tomato. Overall the meal was too spicy and too vinegar-y. The baklava pancakes were good, and sweet. So...much....sweetness. It's an ok place to try, service for checkout was slow, the server passed by our table twice and didn't give us a look, even though our plates were empty. Not planning to go back, unless we are in the area and we feel "fancy".

Joel G.

Yelp
Amazing food, service, and vibe! Thank you to Diana for the great customer service as well! Definitely recommend and will be going back.

Olivia R.

Yelp
Amazing food options with great service! The baclava pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had. It can get a little packed and have long wait times, but it's because the food is good - and it's worth it!
google avatar

Adrian E.

Yelp
This new location is excellent! The coffee was great, the eggs Benedict was on point, and my mom didn't complain about anything. She always has something negative to say about where we eat so I was surprised she loved it! I can't wait to go back and try their other meals!
google avatar

Darren J.

Yelp
I came in for brunch at the recommendation of a friend. The vibe is unreal, and the service was amazing. I really liked the food and drink menus, too. Definitely had to take my time in making my decisions. This place is awesome!
google avatar

Raquel P.

Yelp
Awesome little place! Service was great! Totally busy on a weekday, but don't forget that the bar and outside are always seating options. I'm so excited there's daily brunch. The drunken monkey is more than enough for 2 people and a dessert for breakfast. The juevos benedictos was the perfect amount and so good! Awesome lattes and mimosas too. I would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Andrew J.

Yelp
I used to enjoy this place when it first opened but the last few times just haven't been a hit like before in terms of service. Most recently, the service was really lacking with a 25 minute wait just to place an order for food after being seated. I believe it was the manager who came and took over for a few minutes which was a nice save. Aside that, the food was good. Try the brisket torta and the croissant French toast. I do think the prices are just a little steep for what you get though. The interior of this place is also a reason to come back, good vibe, kinda feels like a library but in a good way? Lol.
google avatar

Gaz H.

Yelp
I use my Yelp Elite superpower and award this place an honorary SIX stars. The menu has incredible depth with excellence at every stop. Falafel. Fish and chips. Chicken and waffles. Cured salmon. Its all top-rate. Add to that the best espresso coffees in town and the nicest crew there is and you have an exceptional oasis here in El Paso.

Tawni M.

Yelp
Their London breakfast plate was SO good! The tomatoes and mushrooms were bright and flavorful and everything on the plate was cooked perfectly. Paired with the Salt & Honey Latte it was perfect! Yum!!
