Salt Leicester Square Review - Leicester Square - London - The Infatuation

"Salt, a burger spot bang in the middle of Leicester Square, has got a fun beachy aesthetic from the outside, and a sprawling, polished dining room. The menu focuses on sliders, but the quality is pretty average. The patties are nice and crispy-edged, but the burger buns are basic, the lack of sauce makes it dry, and the fact you only get one round pickle slice per burger feels like a crime. It feels a bit like an unfinished job. Inside, small groups are dotted around the seat-yourself space, while one nominee stands around waiting for their order number to be called. And if you’re thinking of coming because you’ve tried the original Dubai food truck, you should know that this is actually a Qatari copy-cat burger chain. You’re better off heading to one of these spots." - Rianne Shlebak

On the Grid : Salt

"Located on Kite Beach, Salt is one of the city’s most sought-after food trucks turned permanent burger joint, serving irresistible sliders and shakes. Just look out for the queues and resort-like vibe, and once you’re there, you’re made to feel at home right away. Order everything on the menu – there are only 3 burger options – wagyu beef, spicy wagyu, and a chicken burger filled with cheetos. Yes, cheetos. There’s no point in trying to hold back. Then finish up with the lotus ice cream, you won’t regret it." - Samia Kallidis

"Join the locals at Kite Beach in the queue for Salt, one of Dubai's oldest and most popular burger chains. The Wagyu beef sliders with jalapeño and the fried-chicken sliders with Cheetos are intensely satisfying. The popular lotus-flavored shake or softy is also a must-try."

I know for a fact salt burghers are yummy. We had them when it wasnt trending which was a while back. Today I went to have their ice creams with a few guests here from outside of the UAE. They loved it! Chocolate was the winner for us and second place goes to Lotus flavour too. Mango lovers can try the mango but may miss the actual taste of it so try them all and let me know what YOU think?

I had both a beef burger and a chicken burger, along with their crispy fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The beef burger was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with a soft bun that complemented it beautifully. The chicken burger was just as amazing—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. The fries were golden, crispy, and the perfect side to complete the meal. The beachside vibe made the experience even better, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Whether you’re a burger lover or just looking for a great place to eat with a view, SALT at Kite Beach is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back for more!

If there is a option of 6 stars I will go for that. One of the best restaurants I have ever visit. So we had tea and coffee, Grilled zaatar egg and grilled truffle egg, beef burger and a chicken burger, along with their crispy fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. I love their branding being a designer and specially the games which we played so not a single person will bore or tired during wait for food. The zaatar egg is amazing soft bun and perfectly cooked. beef burger was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with a soft bun that complemented it beautifully. Amazing beachside view with one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Honestly, forget Five Guys, Shake Shack, In-N-Out or even White Castle. Salt does it better. The burgers have a deeper, richer flavor, and they’re not drowning in grease. You can actually taste the meat, and the toppings are balanced, not just thrown on. The bun holds up well without falling apart halfway through. Fries are out of this world, I'm a big fan of salt and vinegar chips(American chips) and when I saw salt and vinegar fries it was a no brainer. Overall, it’s the kind of spot you go to when you want a good burger in a chill setting. Will definitely come back.

Excellent beach with full facilities and ideal for families. Free entry however you need to pay AED 4 per hour for parking. There are plenty parking slots available. Life guard is always there to help.

This isn’t just a place to eat — SALT is a whole mood. Right by the waves at Kite Beach, with golden sand under your feet and salty air in your hair, SALT serves you sunshine, style, and seriously addictive sliders. The original Wagyu sliders? Legendary. That Lotus milkshake? Criminally good. Music always on point, beach breeze, and lights that glow like your favorite memory. It’s chill, it’s coastal, it’s boujee without trying too hard. You come for the food, but you stay for the vibes, views, and velvet buns (yes, they’re that soft). Perfect for golden hour bites, post-beach cravings, or just a little “main character energy” moment by the sea. SALT doesn’t serve burgers — it serves feelings.
