Yelp
Haven't seen a lot about this place but needed to review it. We ordered from here for thanksgiving...having never eaten here before we were a little apprehensive for ordering such an important dinner but 2020 . Had the shepherds pie, salad, truffle Mac and cheese, and the pumpkin mousse pie. Was outstanding! The shepherds pie was done perfectly. The salad was incredibly put together. The truffle Mac and cheese was good. Finally the pie was out of this world. If you are looking for vegan fare - look no farther.

Yelp
This place is NEVER open so don't waste your time like I have many times. More and more plant based spots are closing so just go elsewhere in hopes for a decent meal

Yelp
I stopped by Salt + Seed at Smorgasburg Jersey City after seeing a post with their Pumpkin Glazed Zeppoles on their Instagram! If you ever have the chance to order them, I highly recommend going for it! I arrived at Smorgasburg around 2PM and I was quite literally the last customer to get the Pumpkin Glaez Zeppoles before a "Sold Out" sign went up! So definitely get there early because they're 100% worth it! The zeppoles were warm & fluffy with slightly crisp edges and a ton of glorious pumpkin-spiced glaze all over them! Definitely mouth-watering! I didn't just stop at the Zeppoles, I decided to try out a few other menu items. I ordered the Crab Fries, my sister went with the Spicy Chick'n Sandwich and we split it. The Chick'n Sandwich had a nice texture and definitely had a spicy kick to it. It came with their special sauce, lettuce, tomato and pickles. It was pretty good and paired nicely with the Crab Fries. I'll probably go with another menu item next time I visit, however. As for the Crab Fries, they were crispy and covered with an Old Bay-type seasoning. They were slightly salty but still flavorful. I also think the fries would go perfectly with a vegan aioli on the side! Ratings: Spicy Chick'n Sandwich: 3.5/5 Crab Fries: 4/5 Pumpkin Glazed Zeppoles: 5/5 All in all, I enjoyed the food I ordered from Salt + Seed and highly recommend trying them out if you're ever nearby or see them at a Food Event! Delicious vegan food & friendly staff!

Yelp
I stopped in here to check it out for the first time. The guy behind the counter was more than attentive, patient with my many questions, and helpful. I ordered the Buffalo Chickn Wrap and it was SLAMMIN. The 'Chikn' was crispy, had good texture, and held on the the buffalo sauce really well. I will be back to try the chicken sandwich in the near future.

Yelp
Been goin there for a while when they were located in the outer part of the Harborside Food Court. Everything I ordered was great, even stuff that included beans and I am NOT a fan of beans. Love the creativity, the simplicity, yet the taste is mega-guud. I always sigh with content after eating something from them, because I know there will be no crazy meat-eating side-effects to affect the rest of my workday. Price is a lil high, but I pay it, cuz I know what I'm going to get is quality and care with the food. Staff is nice, the type to make friends of the regulars, and willing to explain everything to the newbies. I'm glad there is now a bigger more open space for them with this new food court location, now more people can see what they've got to offer. As I type, I'm loving on a cup of their mushroom soup & attempting to finish some of the Po'Boy made with spicy fried mushrooms.

Yelp
This is the new Harborside Food court created as the whole building is renovated and redesigned. Friendly staff and quick service - being part of a food court the service has to be efficient. I tried the Black Bean Burger, which was absolutely delicious. It's a little soft and gooey with the mayo and caramelized onions, it definitely worth it and quite filling. Can't wait to try the things on the menu.

Yelp
Got to Try their food from one of those street fairs by city hall. Yummy! The walnut chorizo, beyond beef and lime mushroom tacos were so flavorful. Looking forward to checking the shop out soon

Yelp
I attended the JC Seafood Festival on 9/7 and ordered a black bean burger with carmelized onions and vegan feta cheese + a side order of crab fries which deserves 5 stars. But the service provided by the man featured in my photo deserves no stars. After asking the simple question "what are Crab Fries?", I was told "they are fries". I then asked "what are they made of?" because I wanted to know what the term "crab" meant. Were they french fries topped with vegan crab meat? Vegan crab meat sliced like fries? Something else? In a condescending tone, I was told that they didn't use imitation crab because that's not vegan (*Note: I never asked if they did). Then I was told that they make a vegan crab cake using artichokes, but that they ran out of it earlier in the day. Finally he gets to the point that they are simply fries with an Old Bay type of seasoning. Cool, but why not just say that from the start instead of being arrogant and rude to your customer who's paying you AND sought out your business at the festival after learning you'd be a vendor at the festival? At the close of the transaction, he yelled back to his associate that they need to add "vegan" to the signage because not doing so was confusing people. Um, I was never confused. I'm vegan and I walked around the festival until I found your table because I knew that you were the only vegan food vendor in attendance. I knew this before leaving my home because I researched the festival, but your attitude spoiled my meal despite the food tasting great because it came along with such poor service. The next time someone asks what one of your food items is made of, maybe next time you can just politely provide them with a direct answer instead of being rude and arrogant. Currently, you're not fit to serve customers and should utilize someone else to do so until you improve your demeanor.

Yelp
Went here for lunch and had the all out burger and the quinoa salad. This was my first time trying this place, and both items were delicious! The sauce, cheese, and pickled jalapeños really topped off the burger nicely! Will have to try the black bean burger next time and see how that one is. Burgers were priced at $10 & $11 so sharing since I could not find prices online before i went. Definitely worth it in my opinion !

Yelp
Love coming here during my lunch break. Everything on the menu is amazing. New items every so often so it's good to come back to try something different. The Mac Jr burger and a dessert like the chia pudding is my go-to combo. Keeps my hunger in check for the rest of the work day!

Yelp
Ummmm vegan cheesecake?! This was the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Seriously though the Nutella cheesecake is to die for. The cashew herb cheese is also really yummy!! I was expecting it in block form but it is spreadable (still amazing). I will definitely be ordering from salt and seed regularly be

Yelp
Didn't get to try anything bc it's closed indefinitely which would have been OK if they had that info on the website or on the message when you call. We wasted 30 minutes searching for the placewhich is inside a building food court and there was no parking. They could have let hungry vegans know not to try to eat here right now. So disappointing.

Yelp
Really good healthy options for lunch. I'm not vegan but I really enjoyed what they have to offer. I highly recommend it to people who regularly eat vegan and those who don't.
