Had a delicious meal on Saturday! We were a group of four. We were given a table by the open windows which was lovely due to the beautiful sunny evening!The staff were very welcoming and gave us their recommendations which was very helpful. The two guys in our group had the four meat platter between them and my friend and I had burgers. It was all delicious and the meats were cooked perfectly! The only negative was that there is not a lot to choose from drinks wise but apart from that, it was a fabulous evening out! I would highly recommend

Had dinner and the steak was absolutely delicious paired with their chimichurri. I got my steak medium rare and it was perfectly cooked, the meat was succulent and juicy. We also got their chicken wings and they were cooked perfectly. Mac & cheese was nicely seasoned and again, delicious. Highly recommend this place!

We came to Salt Shed to celebrate our 10yr anniversary as we just love meat!! We ordered meat night Mondays which came with a 4 meat platter which was absolutely beautiful. Our seating wasn't so private as we was seated the first table by the front door which meant lots of people walking pass. But we highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more!

Fantastic! Service, location, food, wine.. no complaints. The 4 meat sharing platter was cooked to perfection. It was our first time eating here and although gutted the roast is only on Sundays ( we went Bank Holiday Monday) we were not disappointed. The house red complimented the meal. Nice little touch arriving to fresh popcorn straight out of the machine whilst we waited for service. We didn't wait long and the sides were good. We had the biscoff blonde for after. We will be back on a Sunday for the sharing roast. Well worth the hour and a half drive.

The best roast I have EVER had. The lamb melted in my mouth and the veggies were absolutely gorgeous! To top it off, our server Reece was so so incredibly kind, attentive and made us feel so welcome and looked after. He gave us the best recommendations on what food to get and drink pairing (the Guvnor red wine was a particular highlight). Thank you Reece for making our time in Brighton so memorable! We will definitely be back ❤️

Banging food wicked atnosphere our server ellie was friendly helpful and attentive. The host was also a good criac and made sure we was enjoying the food and ourselves! Music was also enjoyable but not so loud you got to shout to speak! Would defo visit again and highly reccomend

This was a bit pricey, but 100% worth it. This was easily in the top 5 of roast dinners I’ve ever had. The vegan option was a mushroom and beetroot roast thing, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavour was so deep, definitely didn’t leave you wanting anything else. And all the trimmers were fabulous. The potatoes were so crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. I think this will be a hard one to beat.

Best Sunday roast I’ve ever had! Sirloin was perfectly cooked, the roast potatoes were delicious. The cauliflower cheese and sausage sides were excellent additions. Very friendly staff. Definitely book as it’s a very popular spot for Sunday lunch!
