Salt + Smoke Review - St Louis - The Infatuation

"St. Louis has plenty of barbecue spots, but Salt & Smoke is the move when you want to eat great ribs, and still go somewhere nice. This Delmar Loop staple is always slammed, but just go grab a seat at the bar and work through their pages-long bourbon menu or drink a cocktail while you wait. Once you get seated, go for the the prime brisket and ribs, along with the white cheddar cracker mac and cheese and green beans, if you’re truly in need of vegetables." - Jen Maylack

The smoked brisket and pulled pork were delicious, tender and moist. I would say perfect. Love the mac 'n cheese. The baked beans were good but honestly had too much pulled pork in it. Maybe it was just my serving. I like those beans. The table sauces were amazing. It is a small space and we felt cramped. Next time, I'd sit outside or go to their south county location.

Google
Salt + Smoke is a must-visit if you're looking for a delicious, satisfying meal in St. Louis. Everything we ate was fantastic, but some standout favorites were the toasted ravioli, hush puppies, and the incredibly creamy mac and cheese—comfort food done right. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend if you're craving great food, good vibes, and top-notch barbecue with a Southern twist.

Great salad! Bar centered restaurant with large screen TVs tuned to sports. Nice wait staff. Parking lot ♿️ accessible entry into restaurant that goes through kitchen corridor and accessible bathroom.

My partner and I went recently and wanted to sit with our dog outside. While they were not doing outside seating at the moment, the owner was very gracious and provided us with to go plates and utensils and allowed us to eat our take out outside so we can enjoy the great weather (they just didn't have the staff for outside service that night). The food was so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the brisket, mac and cheese, beef fat fries, wings, as well as their drinks. The person who I'm assuming is the manager even came to check on us and made sure we stayed hydrated. Will be coming back and recommend checking this spot out.

Google
I particularly loved the brisket and pulled pork for their tenderness and smoky flavor—definitely the highlights of the meal. However, I wasn’t as impressed with the ribs; they didn’t quite live up to the same standard. The sides were hearty and paired well with the barbecue, with my personal favorite being the burnt end beans. As for the sauces, they offer a nice variety ranging from tangy and sweet to spicy, giving you plenty of options to customize your barbecue experience. That said, I found that all the sauces had a sweet flavor profile, which didn’t quite match my personal preference for more balanced or savory sauces. The place itself has a cool, laid-back vibe with a great atmosphere. The staff was professional and efficient, making sure we were taken care of quickly without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a tasty and enjoyable barbecue experience.

Google
I have been to all the locations, Each one as great as the rest! Great service and mouthwatering food. Also, they serve the tastiest Sweet Tea I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. 12/10 would DEFINITELY recommend.

Google
I really enjoyed the food! I was recommended the brisket sandwich, which was excellent! The fries were good, & the brisket chili! Our server was very nice & informative... My only complaint was the portion size of the chili & brisket. I'm accustomed to seeing sliced brisket, & these were like burnt ends. It just looked very small & the chili was in a tiny cup. I'd definitely eat here again.. I just wouldn't order the chili as an additional side! The brisket was amazing!

Google
Best STL style ribs in STL. Brisket sandwich is awesome. Good sides, too - Mac and cheese is the best but they’re all solid.

Yelp
Price... 9.5/10 Service... 9/10 Food... 10/10 The service was very good! We were able to be sat right away on a Friday night. The server used a toasted device to input our order straight to the kitchen. That helped speed our food along. Toasted also made it easy to pay with Apple Pay on my phone. The food was great! The Burnt End Ravioli were the highlight of the appetizers! Very warm and delicious! The hush puppies were great with the butter! I did wish they were a little smaller and crunchier. The onion rings were large and perfectly crispy. Well seasoned and very tender, brisket is the choice of meats. The Oklahoma burger was very filling, and the sauce complimented the salty bacon very well! You won't regret getting the baked beans for your side; they are the perfect maple bacon flavor you're looking for.

Yelp
Salt + Smoke is a fantastic BBQ spot that delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. The drink menu is impressive, featuring a huge bourbon selection and delish cocktails! It's a great place for a date night or a casual birthday dinner with the fam (we've done both and enjoyed it equally). The apps are the star of the show, and the ribs were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We totally recommend the fried pickles as an app and the pit beans as a side. Next visit we are def going to try the Fried Chicken Skins app. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We even let her have a piece of our birthday cookie cake from Alibi Cookies (the best cookie cake in town). The space itself is hip, warm, and inviting, making it an excellent choice for date night. Overall, Salt + Smoke is a great spot for BBQ lovers and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It's definitely worth a visit, and with several locations to chose from, there's probably one near you. The Loop location is another cool one because eating outside on the sidewalk in the Loop is so cool.

Yelp
Salt and Smoke is such an asset to my neighborhood. They have such an amazing patio, light and airy vibe, and delicious food and drink. We came on a Sunday and were considering sitting outside but it was too windy. There weren't a ton of diners in the restaurant, but there were enough for the one server working to be busy. Props to her :) service was still good! we ordered dry rubbed wings to start which were delicious. theyre super tender and come with a side of horseradish ranch. For my entree I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with no bun since I got mac n cheese on the side. I like the pimento cheese that comes on sandwich, hence that choice and not just getting the chicken plate. mac and cheese is phenomenal- so creamy and rich. Definitely some of my fav in The Lou!

Yelp
This was a cool looking spot with a small bar upon entering. There were a good number of tables to both sides of the bar. The menu had lots of interesting choices to pick from, which included mostly BBQ. The service was friendly while the food came out quickly. For starters, the hush puppies with maple butter ($7.99) was ordered. There were five to an order. They were okay. The butter was not softened and did not really have any maple flavoring. The hush puppies were a little hard without much flavor unfortunately. For an entrée, I had the two-meat combination ($20.99). This came with a cheddar and bacon popover along with two sides. I opted for the fried jalapeno and cheddar bologna and St Louis ribs as my meat. The sides I had were brisket chili and pit beans with smoked bacon. The popover was not my favorite. It was very light and large, but I just did not enjoy it. The bologna and ribs were great. The bologna was crispy with plenty of pieces of cheddar and jalapeno incorporated. I had the hot BBQ sauce on the ribs, and they were tasty too. The meat fell right off the bones while the hot sauce had a real kick. The brisket chili was my favorite item of the day. The shredded brisket was very flavorful and fulfilling. The beans were a nice touch too. I also tried the sweet pepper potato salad and green bean and tomato salad. The potato salad was very good while the string bean salad was okay. I would have preferred the green beans to be a little less crunchy. Will I go back? Yes.

Yelp
Kids have been wanting to try BBQ while we were in town so stopped by before we hopped on the plane for lunch. We had kale salad with shredded chicken, trash ribs sweet with fries, sweet ribs plate, and brisket plate. Everything was so yummy. Super filling after wards. My favorite was the sweet ribs. Yummy! Space inside was nice. Parking was easy on street or in lot. Service was super friendly and helpful.

Yelp
The service was very quick. We sat down and got our food immediately and everyone was very nice and helpful without food choices.

Yelp
Feeling relaxed and willing to eat in a not overly hurried bbq restaurant? Come to S+S for yummy BBQ in a bit fancier than average joint. Had brisket and pulled pork. KC bbq fans will be underwhelmed, but aren't they always?

Yelp
I have tried the salt + smoke on Delmar loop location many years ago, so I was excited to have another try at the hill location. I think the food options are great, though they ran out of the stl rib cut. I instead ordered the bestie combo with two meat ( dry wing and brisket) with side of salad and brisket chili. I thought the wing was fantastic with vinegar ranch sauce. The brisket was a bit dry even with sauce, and chili was ok. The fat fried was amazing, also loved the dipping sauce that came with toasted ravioli. It was a fun place to gather, and food came out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend this place as a casual night out.

Yelp
I only have one evening (Tuesday) in St. Louis and I really wanted some St. Louis style ribs. However, it was so late in the evening (7 pm) that most bbq joints were either closed or sold out of almost all their bbq meets such as pulled pork, chicken, beef, etc. I definitely wanted ribs. I called around town being disappointed by one place after another, except for Salt and Smoke, which had trashed ribs. I'm not sure what trashed ribs are to be honest but they were perfect. The outsides were slightly crispy which gave it great flavor and texture while the rest of it was saucy and succulent and still plenty of meat on the bones. Hands down some of the best ribs I've had. You can pick two sides and it comes with a few slices of homemade pickles. I picked the coleslaw and potato salad. The coleslaw was a little dry to be honest. They were also suppose to have cheese pastries but they ran out, so they gave me some just ok dinner rolls. Pair it with a nice blonde ale and you can also add one of their delicious bbq sauces if you want. Our server was very polite and attentive as well. I only gave 4/5 stars because they ran out of almost every meat and the cheese pastries and the dry coleslaw. I would still recommend this place and if I'm back in St. Louis, I will try to go earlier in the day so that don't run out of food.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this meal. We stopped by while passing through St. Louis on a roadtrip. I got the pimento cheese toasted ravs for an appetizer and they were so good, i definitely recommend ordering those. For my entree, I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of their mac and cheese and my boyfriend ordered a combo of ribs and brisket. All of the meat was so tender and flavorful. The mac and cheese was also wonderful, I can see why it's so raved about. We ate outside, I'm glad we did because it was very relaxing. The service was friendly as well. I would definitely come back if i'm ever in the area again!

Yelp
The staff were incredibly friendly right off the bat. Stayed in St. Louis for a few days and this place was so good I went three times. Rock solid bbq. It's refreshing to have a place that serves gluten free buns when you have celiac disease. Be careful of cross-contamination for gluten-avoiders like me. The homemade bbq sauces and mustard were excellent. If I didn't have to check the sauce I'd have bought a gallon of it to take home. The place was bustling and busy but was still very clean and orderly. We had no problem getting a table. And wait staff were prompt in taking orders and serving us. They also have a series of tasty in-house sodas that I'd recommended. I would highly recommend the applewood smoked wings and fries.

Yelp
When we passed back through St. Louis one thing we HAD to do was eat at Salt & Smoke. My husband is a picky smoked meat guy and he loves this place. The Josh puppies, the burnt ends, pulled pork, jalapeno and cheddar bologna and cole slaw are all hits. The popovers are enormous. And the brown butter pecan bar was good enough to take a hostage for. It's cozy and homey, and the service is friendly, knowledgeable about the alcohol menu.

Service was great we waited under 10 minutes for our food! Food has been perfect each time i've eaten here definitely recommend! it was a nice quiet chill environment for a monday evening!

Yelp
The building on Hampton represents one of four Salt + Smoke locations in St. Louis. My first time coming to this location was on the 4th of July. To my surprise, there was no wait time and my party of 4 was quickly seated. There are options for bar seating, low tables, high tables and outdoor seating. We opted to sit outside. Similar to the other locations, this location has a rustic yet modern decor, with a combination of wood accents and industrial touches. Their menu features an assortment of classic BBQ dishes and homemade sides. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of mac & cheese. The brisket had a combination of delectable smoky flavors and was prepared well with a balance of tenderness and juiciness. The accompanying house-made sauces, ranging from spicy to tangy added a delicious kick to each bite. The mac & cheese was also a standout with its creamy texture and sharp taste. Some considerations for dining at this location are that: 1) parking is limited- we parked behind the building, where there are about 10-12 spots. While we did not have any issues, parking may become a challenge during peak business hours and 2) Hampton Ave is a busy road, which may contribute to increased noise levels when dining outdoors. Overall, we had a good dining experience and were very grateful for the staff that served us on a national holiday!

Yelp
We had delicious lunch there! I ordered half rack of ribs and hubby ordered pulled pork sandwich with fries. Fries were nothing to show but the sandwich was good. My plate came with 2 sides which I chose cream corn and cheddar with Mac. They were amazing which came with a popover. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Yelp
Salt and smoke was the highlight of my trip to St. Louis. My goal was to find great St. Louis barbecue (I'm a NC girl) and I won. I was very nervous because I ordered the food for delivery. However, the food DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The kale salad was lovely, and I ended up pairing the pulled chicken with it. The wings and Mac was enjoyable as well. But that toasted ravioli?! I don't know that I've had anything as delightful as that, in life. I was so nervous that they would be soggy after being delivered, and I didn't have a way to reheat them in my hotel room. However, they remained crispy and flavorful. I could have eaten them every day I was there. What a great place!!

Yelp
Salt and Smoke restaurant, nestled in the old Hampton Business District (which seems to be making a big-time comeback) at 5625 Hampton, is a culinary delight!!!! The decor reminds me of many St. Louis eateries when I was growing up -- unpretentious and casual, but attractive. Our server was a charming young lady who was attentive and explained the various food options without hovering near the table, as sometimes happens with more formal dining establishments. And the food was sensational!!! I had the crispy kale salad with a topping of pulled chicken; my sister had the pulled chicken platter. The meat was not swimming in sauce, which was provided in table-side bottles. I have had hotter fare than their extra-hot sauce (who needs salad dressing??!!!), but it was tasty and had just enough heat to wake up the salad. This restaurant comes with my recommendations and merits a five star review!

Vijayanarayanan S.

Yelp
To start off, I tried the fried chicken skin, and while it wasn't the best I've had, the sauce it came with was quite good. Moving on to the main course, I ordered the 3 combo, which included a variety of meats and sides. The portion size was quite generous and could easily feed two people. The smoked malts and touch of bourbon created a complex and flavorful experience that perfectly complemented the BBQ flavors of the food. As for the other drinks, I found them to be quite interesting, and they added to the overall experience. The beer fat fries were another item that I really enjoyed, as they were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. Overall, while some of the food items were hit or miss, the Salt + Smoke BBQ Bourbon Beer was definitely a standout. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you're a fan of BBQ and beer, as it's a truly unique and enjoyable experience.

Yelp
The food was really good: brisket, smoked wings, pulled chicken, creamed corn, beef fat fries, macaroni/cheese, and the brisket chili (I added some bbq sauce for my liking). My boys and I went for Mother's Day and to celebrate my sUns bornday and we all enjoyed our meals. Our waiter Lucy was very pleasant and the atmosphere was nice as well. I like the fact that I can eat inside or outside, but considering the crowded sidewalk, we opted for inside.

Yelp
I love the South City Salt + Smoke location, especially the street side patio! Eaten through the majority of the menu over the years. We typically do a Plate with pick 2 or 3 meats, served with a pop over and 2 sides. Always enough to feed myself and my husband. Its difficult to pick a favorite side but we always make sure to get the White Cheddar Cracker Mac - topped with Ritz crackers. Burnt End Toasted Ravs are a must try as well. Service is always speedy, even when outside they are on top of it.

Yelp
Food is great and comes out quickly! Everything is delicious! Love sitting in the patio or inside is very cozy! Service is good and fast and everyone is very kind. A huge assortment of liquor for any drink you'd like! A but I'm the pricey side but delicious!

Tim M.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of state and tried some BBQ here at Salt and Smoke! The food was excellent! We tried the shredded pork and the brisket! I'm from Texas so I always try the brisket! It was moist, smoked to perfection, pork was great as well. They make their own different sauces and we tried three, all of the was distinct and flavorful, loved all of them! Side note one of my grandkids ordered a sandwich which came with fries and they were great! They were cooked in beef fat not seed oils, wow what a difference in flavor! Service was friendly, polite and helpful and the place had a great atmosphere! Loved it!

Yelp
parking can be tight and seating a bit tight in some areas of the restaurant. great service everytime we go. they are also on doordash if you want to eat from home. must order the white cheddar mac!! yummmm! I don't typically get the salmon as I did this time, wasn't my favorite. was more like pulled salmon smashed together rather than a fillet. brisket is my normal and delicious!

Amanda B.

Yelp
We had the ribs, brisket sandwich, and kids Mac and cheese. Ribs and fries are amazing Mac is good and the brisket was alright

michelle m.

Yelp
Had an excellent pulled chicken sandwich! The smoked meat was so tasty that I didn't want to try any of their sauces. Their mac and cheese was absolutely the BEST I have ever had!! Don't miss this side! Service was great!

Yelp
Great spot for bbq! I went with a couple of friends and funnily enough we all wanted ribs - I got the trashed sweet bbq ribs which were delicious and the other two got he dry rub which they also enjoyed! I had the fries and mac and cheese for my two sides and they were delicious as well. Our server was nice and welcoming! The ambiance of the Hampton Salt + Smoke was chill as well, plenty of seating inside and outside (we ate inside because it was incredibly hot outside). Overall a pleasant experience!

Yelp
Solid enough. Ribs & brisket were tender. Sauces were ok but nothing special. Beans were delicious. Popover had no cheddar or jalepeno flavor and was burnt. Cocktails were decent.

James M.

Yelp
We ordered takeout. Service was fast and online ordering easy and the restaurant looks nice inside but we didn't eat in. The food was just okay. Heavy smoke, but oddly not really all that flavorful. Ironically the restaurant has Salt in the name, but I felt like most of the food needed salt. As far as the low rating, I'm pretty disappointed with the portion given for the brisket. (See picture) A skimpy single mangled slice. There's no way this was 3.5oz as indicated when ordering. The ranch dressing is pretty vinegar heavy. For $45 for this 4 meat meal, I just don't think the portion given is fair. We won't be back anytime soon.

Yelp
This was a pick up order around 5:00 pm. Nice friendly greeting when I arrived to pick up my order. Rib Tips: These were good, it was tender and sauce was delicious. 4/5 Brisket: Big brisket fan and I was left disappointed. Choose a fatty cut and there was some lean cuts thrown in. It was tender but dry. 3/5 Ribs 1/2 Rack: Heartbroken over this one as the ribs were super dry. Good flavor but it was so dry. 2/5 White Cheddar Cracker Mac: So glad I got this side, it was really good. 5/5

Yelp
I was visiting St. Louis with a professional group, and as we were discussing dinner plans on the tour bus, we decided BBQ was a must. I came across Salt + Smoke on Yelp and hoo boy am I glad I did. They happily accommodated our large group -- easily and swiftly took our orders and offered separate checks -- and offered up DELICIOUS food. I personally had the plate with the popover! the brisket! the mac and cheese! the fries! and the bologna!!!!! (The last was on the recommendation of our server, a jovial mustachioed guy with suspenders. He was quite correct.) Everything was delicious, atmosphere was pleasant, and service was impeccable.

Yelp
Deliciously satisfying with a burst of flavors that will leave you craving for more! very friendly and nice clean

Yelp
Awesome! Food was out really fast. Best ribs I've had in St. Louis in years. Great sides -- green bean & potato salads and Mac and cheese were delicious.
google avatar

Irene N.

Yelp
Shoutout to the awesome staff who helped set us outside when it was a little chilly and letting us take our time and enjoy our food! We enjoyed a pick two (wings and brisket) and a salad as well! You can't gone wrong with their entrees. The sides that I tend to go for are the green beans and tomatoes (served cold) and the fries (served hot and seasoned). The best sauce for the wings are the ones it comes with and I'm pretty sure that you can ask for it, even if you don't get the wings!

Stephen W.

Yelp
This place has very good barbecue. I especially like their smoked chicken wings. They have a nice crust with a tasty rub. And they are great dipped in the Alabama ranch sauce. The ribs are also standout. Great dry rub and excellent dry or with sauce. I'm not a huge fan of the sides. Their creamed corn and brisket chili are very good. Unfortunately, the baked beans and potato salad - usually my two favorites with bbq- are a bit bland. Lastly, a lot of people love the mac n cheese. To me it's very creamy and not enough cheesy. But it's definitely worth trying if you like Mac 'n cheese.

Kristy H.

Yelp
My 5 year old said it was the best Mac n cheese he's ever had. The server was friendly, but it took us awhile to be seated even though we were the first people in the restaurant.

James G.

Yelp
Excellent flavors and service. My favorite was probably the ribs, brisket, beans and Mac and cheese.
google avatar

Raquel S.

Yelp
The service was excellent. The place is a really cool space and it was clean. My whiskey drink was delicious and satisfying. It was perfectly made. I chose the Mac & cheese bc I was craving it. It was creamy and cheesy and very satisfying as well. Huge portion by the way. I can say the pulled chicken sandwich was delicious with pimento cheese and a corn slaw. You can add a sauce to it. I loved all four but preferred the vinegar one to cut through the richness of my meal and mixed in the spicy one. Please go and indulge. The menu options all seemed mouth watering.

Yelp
I love the concept of Salt & Smoke. It's got a great vibe and it makes a lot of sense that it draws people. That said, I've been here three times and the food has been just okay every time. The first time I didn't really like any of the sauces. This could be a matter of personal taste, and I do applaud creativity. Today I had a brisket sandwich with Cole slaw on the side. The meat had a lot of fat, which I had to pull out of the sandwich. The bun was dry and crumbly and I didn't like the cole slaw at all. It just didn't taste good to me. I will say I like the sauces more than I did on my previous visits. On my last visit I tried the jalapeno bologna sandwich and it was kind of bland imo. I really want to like this place, but after 3 visits I think it will be a whole before I try again.

Kim M.

Yelp
Hampton location is great with friendly staff and prompt service. We had the beef rib which was scrumptious and the kale salad - so refreshing. The walnut Old Fashioned is something very special.
google avatar

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Ok, we truly did not expect this restaurant to be so incredible, but OH MY GAH! The waiter recommended the wings in their sweet sauce, and they were absolute perfection. The smoke from the pit mixed with the sweet bbq sauce was the combo we didn't know we needed. I also saw they had a ritz cracker topped max n cheese. We ordered two sides for both myself, and Matt- I liked it so much I stole his haha Each bite reminded me of childhood. The patio is also the perfect spot to bring your pups. This area itself is pretty busy and loud, so it was a nice change of pace when we got to this patio.

Yelp
Now That's Brisket! Being from Kansas City I am a pretty tough grader of BBQ, But I will have to admit that they pass the toughest test for smokers! We ordered carry out last night. Their online ordering was a bit confusing if you wanted something not exactly as presented on their site, but calling the restaurant after the order was placed, they gladly modified our order to include our wishes. That was a welcome thing after dealing with so many others who did not prioritize customer service. Their menu pushes the envelop of standard BBQ restaurants. I mean, if you are in St. Louis you should not be surprised to see "Burnt End Toasted Raviolis!" For the record, they were amazingly good. But one of the truest tests for BBQ is brisket. It is one of the hardest cuts of meat to successfully smoke. Preparation (seasoning, rub, and resting come to mind), finishing, and the final rest before the critical task of slicing, are all on the critical path to the perfect brisket. Do them all right and it is magical experience, do any of those tasks poorly and you have pretty crapy roast beef. I will say that their thick sliced brisket was equal to any of the top BBQ's on the other side of the state. Tender, moist, and flavorful! Bravo to the folks out back! The prepackaged sauces were more than acceptable. Each one we tried was flavor enhancing rather that competing with the meats natural flavor. Sides like fried pickles, Burnt End Toasted Ravioli, and fries all delivered on their promises. Long Story Short, their brisket can hold its own with the best in Kansas City. I will be back!

Yelp
Popped in on a quest for barbeque, and had a mixed experience. Brisket - 2/5 Flavorful, but so dry I couldn't eat it without copious sauce. Ribs - 4/5 Great flavor, but again, too dry. Fries - 4/5 If you like the flavor of beef fat with your fries, you'll like these. Green Bean and Tomato Salad - 2/5 A bit oily, and the vinegary flavor profile was not for me, but someone else might like it. Roll - 1/5 Haphazardly thrown on the plate on top of everything else. Added nothing to the meal. "Special" Side of Mixed Fruit - 3/5 Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to write home about, tasted like it came from a grocery store. If the meat had been just a little less dry, this might have been a great experience. Unfortunately, it was awfully dry, which was something of a deal killer for me. Note that the cocktails here are pre-batched, not made to order, so there's no substitutions or mocktails out of them, either.

Yelp
I have eaten a lot of barbeque in my lifetime but this place is hands down the best barbeque I have ever eaten. I had a full rack of barbeque ribs with fries and a Caesar salad for dinner. Everything was delicious. Even the side of pickles. They make their own sauces and they are so delicious I had to buy a bottle of the My Sweet Bestie sauce to take home. I am from Columbus, Ohio and we were passing thru and picked this place for dinner. It was already highly recommended by other patrons on Yelp. But I was so impressed I decided to add my own review.

Chris P.

Yelp
The St. Louis ribs were outstanding. The chicken also great along with all the sides we had. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Picked up a carry out order today. Ordering online was super easy. The email instructions were clear with the carry out process. When I arrived, I called and the girl on the phone was friendly and made sure to ask me what kinds of sauces I needed which was great since I forgot to order them. The carry out order was placed on their table outside shortly after we hung up. When I got home and started to plate the orders, I split each combo so that we could have lunch and dinner since it was a lot of food. I was super disappointed when the side dish of macaroni and cheese was missing. Honestly, I was looking forward to that side item the most. But at least everything else was correctly in the carry out boxes. I'll have to place another order soon and just double up on the macaroni and cheese so I can have my fill! Everything tasted great. Sides were delicious and the meats were super juicy and flavorful. Such a nice treat to enjoy on this sunny spring day!

Yelp
We had dinner here last night and it was a big disappointment. We ordered several appetizers. We started with the deep fried pickles. Unfortunately they were sweet pickles which none of us cared for. The waitress happily replaced the pickles with the loaded fries which were hot and tasty. For dinner we ordered a pulled chicken sandwich, half rack of ribs, and smoked wings. First of all our popovers were cold. The ribs were so dry we didn't finish them. The smoked wings were not hot and they were dry. We also had sides of Mac and cheese. Those were also not hot. The one bright spot was our waiter. She was really courteous and friendly. I use to really like this restaurant, but it's apparently gone down hill.

Yelp
Tender smoky and needs know sauce. If you love BBQ sauces they have a selection to try but none is real beaded
