Saltbae Burger

We stopped by Saltbae Burger for our first quick dinner in Istanbul on this trip. We’re in town for a medical procedure and met a local friend here, which made it a great low-stress way to start the visit. The restaurant offers a very nice selection of burgers, and honestly, they taste really good—well prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. What really stood out, though, was the service. The servers absolutely crushed it: attentive, friendly, and efficient without being overbearing. There’s a small indoor seating area, but the real highlight is the heated, covered outdoor section, which is very comfortable and well set up—especially nice in cooler weather. This definitely isn’t the cheapest burger you’ll find in Istanbul, but it’s located in a more upscale area, and the overall experience matches the price. Solid food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Despite the huge advertisement that Saltbe is number 1 burgers in Istanbul, I found it very normal and not as expected,, The place vibe was very normal and quiet.. the beef burger was average lacking falvours of the souces ,, The burger Taco was below average as well with almost not taste. This is my personal opinion at the end.

I really prefer the truffle fries and onion rings than the classic burgers. Again I would like to thank Saltbea staff for their service and cooperation.

The barista at the hotel where I was staying nearby recommended I try their burger. He told me it was the best burger he ever ate. I trust and valued his opinion and he couldn’t be more right. I came from America, the home of the underwhelming burger and ate perhaps the best burger in my life so far. I ordered the saltbae burger with carmelized onions, cheddar cheese and a squid ink bun. The burger was cooked to perfection which was slightly crispy on the outside while moist and juicy on the inside. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked with fine meat. The owner really knows how to please customers and I developed a new found appreciation for him, his establishments and food quality. You can tell in every morsel and bite he cares about food. The portion also was just right. I highly recommend saltbae. They even provide gloves for customers to wear while eating these delicious burgers. I didn’t need to use mine because I ate the burger so fast while making sure not to spill a drop of it. The service was wonderful, helpful, efficient and attentive. I will definitely be eating here again.

Fabulous food and service. The place was very nice, we sat outdoor and really liked the vibe. We ordered two burgers (which I don’t remember the names), both of them had very unique and delicious taste. We enjoyed every bite, tbh. The service was very good; super nice, communicative, and quick. We really liked our experience there.

The burgers were delicious but the price is a little to high.

The food was phenomenal! The service was spectacular. We felt like the highest priority even though it was a fully packed restaurant. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and sliced and salted by the boss himself! Don't pass on the french fries. The baklava was next level and prepared in front of us with ice cream! I hope we get to come back one day.

The restaurant was A Okay. Nothing to brag about. Ambiance was decent. Food was average and service was good. For those reason I'm giving it a 3 star review.

Finally! I have always wanted to try Salt Bae's burgers, there was no way I was not going to enjoy a delicious meal before I leave. The location is amazing and the style of this restaurant is outdoor seating. My husband and I arrived here and was put on the waiting list. We were seated about 20 minutes later which was pretty quick for a very busy night. I ordered the lokum burger and my husband ordered the nusr_et burger. We shared half of each of our burger and both burgers were delicious! I was truly impressed with the quality of meat. The meat and the flavor was amazing! My favorite was Lokum burger but both were lovely. The burgers came with a handful of fries and that also was delicious. It was seasoned well and it had the perfect amount of crunch. For dessert we ordered the baklava dessert which has vanilla ice cream inside. The server came and did a mini show on inserting the vanilla ice cream inside the baklava which was pretty interesting. The dessert was good and hit the spot. The service here is top-notch. We had a friendly waiter who made sure my husband and I were catered well. I highly recommend to all you Salt Bae fans trust me you will not be disappointed .

Probably one of the best burger patties I ever tasted in my life. The place definitely does deserve its reputation. Although advertised as a burger joint, the place doesn't really specialize in Burgers and the choices there are quite limited, but there are also some steak choices which I assume are good. Service is top notch, and prices of the burger was quite moderate for such a place. Totally recommended

It was really good service and the food but I must say I prefer the Nusret in the grand bazaar

Alright, it may be becoming a bit of an obsession because I just can't keep myself away from here any time I visit Istanbul. Every. Single. Time. The food is magnificent, the service is very friendly and helpful for English speakers and I think I've found my favorite restaurant in the entire world! The pomegranate goat cheese salad + burger makes me one happy camper! :)

Ordered the Nusr-Et Burger which came with fries and let me tell you this burger was amazing! It was rich and flavourful and not over or under cooked. Definitely high quality cut meat. The meal was about $15 Canadian. If I ever come back to Dubai will be coming back here to try their other menu items.

Food is very good. The steak melts in your mouth literally. I got the beef filet and the lamb chops. Both dishes were excellent the baked potato was also very good and fresh.

Has a fun vibe to it. Not a big menu and I think it's a bit expensive for normal restaurants in Istanbul. But the service is good and they can understand enough English to make it happen. The menu also has English which is helpful

This a great place. Simple menu high quality food well prepared and reasonably priced.

Had dinner last night, place was full. The service was quick but as in most Turkish resturant the element of curtesy is missing! The lamb chops, the nusrat burger and the steak was good. We had the baklava with ice cream for dessert. The downside is the price, little expensive, almost 800 liras for a family of 5.
