"Oh, the salteña – a Bolivian empanada morsel often stuffed with protein, olives, raisins, potatoes, and more. This Yellow Green Farmers Market stall air fries them before your eyes, coming in chicken, beef, and vegan varieties with a soup-like filling. If you like the fuego, douse them in their homemade hot sauce." - Jesse Scott

Very friendly and absolutely authentic Bolivian food. The salteñas were amazing! Danny was the best host, explaining each question we had. We drove from Spring Hill to try this restaurant and it was worth every mile!!

You never get Bolivian representation in the U.S. it’s amazing to get to see a different part of the Spanish community. The owner is so kind and they’re constantly coming out with more Bolivian foods. It was all delicious we were definitely satisfied and our dog was also very welcomed 🩵

I had the best time at this authentic Bolivian "all natural" Restaurant. We felt at home at this Cafe. The owner was pleasant and the vibe was on point. We stayed a little longer then expected but thats because we felt the true Bolivian energy from the Cafe. I'm looking forward to visiting again when I'm in Hollywood Fl.

Delicious Bolivian food with great service! Their salteñas are generous and tasted very authentic, they even have llawja (spicy Bolivian sauce). The people running the show are very friendly too, had a blast talking to them while waiting for my food.

Discovered this place in a Yellow Green Farmers market and it had caught my attention because it looked like an empanada, but different from any I had tried before. OMG was it delicious! It has a soup inside the empanada and the dough has some sweetness as well. I recommend to anyone to check this out, it is called Salteña. I also tried a MocoChinchi the fruit inside is a Peach Super refreshing for a hot day and reminds me of Agua apáñela but better! The pictures are beginning of the process, mid and final!

Just found out about this place. Tried the chicken and beef salteñas, a Bolivian empanada which were delicious. The selections are plenty, but we'll prepared. Will definitely comeback to try the other Bolivian dishes. The best was the owner, Danny, very friendly and makes everyone feel at home and takes his time to ensure he hears your feedback about the food.

We started with Pique Macho, which consists of homemade fries, steak, sausage, onions, tomatoes, and hard-boiled eggs. In addition, I tried the Chicharrón, which is fried pork with corn on the side. Ended with a game of Cacho which is a dice game played among family and friends. The owner was super nice and welcoming and looking forward to coming back. . . Yelp
After living in Miami for a decade this is the only Bolivian place I have found. The salteńas are great and they got more menu options. Although the place is at the Yellow Green farmers market with a variety of food options this is the only gem around. I recommend it.

Yelp
Many variations of an empanada are known throughout Latin America as one of the most versatile pockets of culture boasting in character that is readily available. Some are fried and some are baked but the common denominator seems to be the tenacity within the stuffings. Bolivia is a rustic and lushly vegetative region with a plethora of gastronomic resources to keep your palate completely entertained. While juicy and hearty, the thick pourings of the meat and vegetable filling encased by the sweetened baked corn dough seemed to enamore me as I slurped the thick pottage-style fillings in each bite that left me wanting more. It was tender and delicate yet had permanece to label itself than more than just an empanada. Located directly on the corner of the outdoor booth strip, this intricate little spot really made my day for showing me something i hadn't tried nor knew existed. It's family-owned and operated highlighting the backbone of South Florida's multifaceted presence in the food scene. I mean, c'mon...Bolivian food is challenging to come across so come take a bite out of their culture here at the Yellow Green Market where every booth is a passageway to greatness.

Yelp
What an amazing find! Until this past weekend, I had never tried Bolivian food. The Chola Sandwich I ordered had incredibly juicy slices of pork, and mild yellow pepper sauce, and picked red onions and slices of carrot on ciabatta bread. I also ordered a mocochinchi, a drink made from dehydrated peaches, anise, and cloves, which blew my mind! The owner was very kind and wanted me to enjoy my meal and take my time before paying (which I thought was adorable). You could tell that they were entirely dedicated to showing people how wonderful Bolivian food and culture can be, and it showed. I'll be back for another salteña (I took one to go), as well as to try the sopa de Mani (yes, a soup made from peanuts!!!).

Yelp
we had a great delish experience with the saltenas empanadas!! can't wait for second opportunity

Yelp
Being married to a Cochabambina whose mother was an expert saltena-maker, I found the saltenas to be surprisingly good. The filling was soupy and meaty, too. I would go back anytime for these!

Yelp
I've been dying to go here with my family since we're Bolivian it's hard to find an authentic Bolivian restaurant but OMG the food is just like how it is back home in Santa Cruz. The nostalgia was real it made me really sad leaving but I had a wonderful time with my mom and sister eating here. The owner is such a great hard working latino i wish him & his family the best and send them all eternal good vibes. I'll be here again on Sunday ( Mother's Day) because they're going to play Bolivian music to celebrate ‍

Yelp
Did not know I could get Bolivian food at a restaurant near me until last week. Today I got salteñas, pollo and beef, and took some for the family as they were awesome. Also took home some Peanut soup (Frank Sinatra's favorite, look the story up) and some pork fricase. Will definitely come back with the entire family and friends so they can try good food from my country and can't wait to try the rest. Topping it all, the owner is very personable and makes everyone feel at home and goes out of the way to get feedback about how much you enjoyed your meal.

Yelp
