I came here for the lunch special and had a great experience. They started us off with soft, fresh bread served with oil and vinegar, which was such a nice touch. For my main, I ordered the salmon, which was a generous portion and cooked really well. It came over creamy mashed potatoes that were so buttery and delicious. The salad was fresh, and dessert rounded out the meal perfectly. Service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. It wasn’t very busy in the late afternoon, which made the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful spot for lunch, and I’d definitely come back!

Google
We came in with a large party of 11. The service was exceptional. I liked their ordering friendly atmosphere and vibe of the place. We started with appetizers (truffle fries, calamari, and crab cakes). The fries were just ok, the calamari was good but the breading/coating was a little oily, the crab cakes were tasty and the salad that came with them was tasty. If I’m in the area again I would come back but would definitely re-think my order. In looking at the menu the restaurant definitely looks upscale, the dishes come out looking amazing but in my opinion don’t order the seafood dishes. I ordered the seafood linguine and someone else ordered the seafood risotto. The scallops were very tiny and over cooked, the shrimp was salad shrimp sized and very tough, there were a few larger prawns on the top but also tough and overcooked. The mussels were the only seafood that was soft and not over cooked. Several people in our party ordered the cheeseburger. They said it was very tasty and they would definitely get it again. Said it was a top choice. The sauces on all of our pasta dishes were delicious and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly aldente. The mushroom ravioli was reportedly good as well as the bolognese. The drinks were great! Overall our party of 11 was satisfied. Just stay away from the seafood and I believe you’ll thoroughly enjoy your visit to the SaltYard.

I've been coming here for several years, and I'm glad this place has been consistent. The food is delicious. Top sea bass from anyplace I've been to and the salmon temperature is perfect. For a ribeye that isn't aged, it is fantastic and I was able to cut through it with a butter knife. Water boys were attentive! Heard the owner used to work at Porterhouse in San Mateo and sources his steaks from the same place; no wonder why they are so delicious.

Google
Nice atmosphere. Pricey for what it was. Brussel Sprouts were greasy. Iced tea is so gross. My friends food was good she said.

Google
We got there early at 6:15 pm, but by the time we left at bit after 8 the restaurant was packed. We ordered the truffle mushroom appetizers, which were delicious; then a beet and a Caesar salad. Both were big portions and flavorful. My lamb shank was cooked to perfection. Our dessert was creme Brule. Staff was very friendly. The cocktails were pretty, but definitely not strong. My Margherita tasted more like Margherita mix.

Google
The service was outstanding I got in our group very prompt the ribeye was perfection sea bass came out and surprised a few cuz it was a full fish cooked with head but was tasty. Crab cakes were delightful. I love coming back here

Google
My absolute favorite was the fried calamari with artichokes. I did not like the shrimp and scallop appetizer. It was the small scallops. I was hoping for pan fried larger scallops. The drinks were great. Always love checking out the kind of concoction they make for cocktails. Truffle fries were great. Wished the truffle ravioli had more truffle flavor. The seafood on the pasta and the risotta had large shrimp and other seafood but I prefer fresher seafood. Cesar salad was good but some more anchovies would have made it perfect. Cheesecake and chocolate lava cake were moist and tasty. The sugar in the creme Brulee was great. Great ambiance and nice Street to walk around.

Google
I first tried this place during the pandemic when I got takeout, and I thought it was very good. Recently came here with two friends and ate on site, and it was absolutely amazing. We got the fish, a salad, mushroom toast, and ravioli. Oh, and truffle fries! Everything was delicious, service was friendly and prompt, and we had a great time. Prices are about what you would expect for this area. Definitely make a reservation, they get crowded all the time.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem for their lunch specials! We're talking about like more upscale dining with suits and ties for around $30. Forget your SF restaurant week because this is every M-F and isn't going away. Comes with salad or soup and the salad was great. We ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer and thay was 5/5 delicious real crab with a good aioli sauce. My coworker had the salmon and it was a whole piece with all the veggies and potatoes with the sherbet for dessert. Totally worth it. My steak was an additional $20 upcharge but it was a good steak. Also, with all the fixings like veggies and stuff. Not a fan of their sherbet, but whatever. Service was decent. Great view of the Burlingame street to people watch. Would recommend for an upscale lunch.

Yelp
The food was excellent and beautifully presented, as others have already stated; we had Mixed Green Salad, Truffle Mushroom Ravioli, and Chicken on mashed potatoes with mixed greens, finishing off with the Crème Brûlée. Service was less than expected: two very friendly servers and one that seemed curt. The ambiance is reasonable for a Sunday midday, and I imagine it picks up in the evening.

Yelp
Friday night drinks with the girls. Loved it! Service was good Food is wonderful. The skirt steak and salads were excellent

Yelp
This place is delicious and has a great variety of food. Tucked in a random corner in downtown Burlingame, it wasn't busy for a Friday evening which I wasn't expecting! They just get busy later in the afternoon bc they asked if we had a reservation but we still got seated right away. The complimentary bread is really good. This was my second time here and I haven't been here in a long time but didn't disappoint. Everything was flavorful and came out fresh. The vibes inside are nice, the bar looks pretty good too. It would be a nice date night here. My favorite dish was the truffle mushroom bruschetta appetizer

Yelp
Came here for a dinner date with my boyfriend after we watched John Wick in theaters. It's a very lovely restaurant in Burlingame, a great choice for a nice night out for a date and/or feeling a bit bougie. We saw a few families, including a married couple with a baby. The bar is gorgeous, and we sat at a booth across from it. We enjoyed our entrees! We had: Risotto: Tiger prawns, bay scallops, shrimp, spinach, sundried tomatoes and shrimp bisque mascarpone sauce Seafood Linguini: Tiger prawns, bay scallops, shrimp, clams & mussles, lightly spiced with chili flex, served with tomato-basil light cream marinara sauce For dessert, we got cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Both recommended! Verdict: would recommend Saltyard for a higher-end meal out without breaking the bank

Yelp
This was a tasty but expensive lunch. I spent almost $75 for a flight of wine and Cioppino. My friend had the Seafood Pasta dish and an Aperol Spritz. We enjoyed sitting outside for an afternoon lunch. Our dishes were good and the portion was a nice size. There were big pieces of fish and plump shrimp in my Cioppino. I couldn't eat the garlic bread that it came with so my friend had it. She said it was very good.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with friends on our way to Filoli Gardens. The restaurant is cozy and classy with a beautiful large wood bar. Two of my friends shared the bolognese with meatballs and said they thought it was very good. Another friend just ordered the meatball appetizer plate, which was just a larger version of the meatballs in the pasta dish. One friend had a small bowl of the soup of the day as an appetizer. It was some kind of a lentil soup, and she liked it, but said it was a too large of a portion for an appetizer. I ordered the lunch special. I chose caesar salad and the chicken and shells pasta dish. Everything was really tasty and a good portion for $25. I just had iced tea with lunch, but two friends ordered the pomegranate martini and the other had the blood orange. They told me all the cocktails were really good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She was also very patient with a table full of boisterous and indecisive women who had lots of questions about everything. This place should definitely be on your list for lunch. There are plenty of options without being overwhelming, and everything that I saw coming out of the kitchen looked wonderful.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Saltyard wasn't quick to grab our attention. It had been open over five years before we tried them for dinner, & didn't eat there again til recently for lunch. Pricing is reasonable for slightly more upscale food & ambiance than the casual spots around Burlingame Ave. BF took advantage of the $25 Power Lunch which included a starter (minestrone soup was chock-full of veggies), main (+$20 for a sizable, tasty ribeye, which is still a decent price for the cut), & orange sorbet for dessert. I had the fried artichoke with lemon aioli ($14.99) & beet salad ($12.99) with the only note being the insufficient amount of crumbled goat cheese on the salad. I'd re-order both of these dishes in a heartbeat. We gave Saltyard a second chance to make a first impression & while they don't crack our Burlingame Top Ten, they're certainly an option on the rare occasion we want a nice sit-down Italian meal.

Yelp
Came here with friends and the highlight was the drinks. The food was just an odd mix of flavors. There were some unexpected surprises and I will say the servers do a great job of hyping up the dishes but we walked away not even wanting to try the dessert menu because we were so baffled by the appetizers and dishes that we tried. They have a great atmosphere and its a nice location but the food does not live up to the surroundings.

Yelp
Saltyard is one of my favorite restaurants. I was here earlier in June and it was my second time! My boyfriend and I were here for our special anniversary dinner. The level of service, the aesthetics and dining atmosphere, the menu and of course wonderful company made for the best experience here! My boyfriend made the reservation through Yelp or open table I believe! It was nice of the host to accommodate a bigger table so my boyfriend and I could sit next to each other. Our server was spectacular, we never felt rushed and our food was presented in a timely manner. ** Meiomi Pinot Noir & Robert Hall Cabernet Sauvignon 5/5 ** Fried Artichoke paired with a lemon aioli 5/5 ** Calamari paired with cocktail and tartar sauce 5/5 -- I didn't eat this dish but my boyfriend loved it! ** Chicken entree 5/5 -- a chicken tenderloin with mashed potato, spinach, asparagus, sun dried tomato, and a pesto sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly, you get so much flavor in each bite. ** Salmon Entree 5/5 -- served with mashed potato, onion, spinach, and vodka creamy dill sauce. I forgot to say no onions, however the dish was still amazing! ** Chocolate and Orange Gelato 5/5 -- it comes with 2 scoops of gelato per serving! I highly recommend this restaurant! It is perfect for a special occasion, date night, or solo date!

Yelp
Quaint environment that is not too loud. Decent food with portions that are moderate for the price and friendly service. Nice place to stop in for a drink.

Yelp
An amazing restaurant! I came in for the power lunch and was seriously impressed. For $45, I got a mixed green salad, a ribeye with potatoes and asparagus, and an orange sorbet to finish, it's a pretty great deal, especially considering the steak was literally the size of my head. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and super tender. Both the steak and the veggies were well seasoned and flavorful. The orange sorbet at the end was a refreshing, light palate cleanser that wrapped up the meal nicely. On top of the great food, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Yelp
A 3-course, $25 "Power Lunch" (on weekends too!) that doesn't skimp on flavor or quality? In this economy? Saltyard is where it's at - European flair in a classy yet relaxed atmosphere! And with an executive chef at the helm, I haven't been disappointed in any of the dishes. The portions, whether it's steak or salmon, are hefty too. Saltyard is definitely a Burlingame treasure.

Yelp
Service good! Salad was weird and give me that feeling of its been not fresh ! I recently got sick from eating greens and my feeling usually true ! So I did not even touch it !

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal at Saltyard. Ambiance: Very busy and crowded (it was a Saturday evening). We opted to sit outside on the patio under the heat lamps. Food: Beef Spring Egg rolls: 3/5 A different take on the traditional egg rolls. There is beef and mozzarella inside and I believe maybe a creamy sauce of some sort. The outer shell was nice and crispy and perfectly fried and not too soggy. The horseradish sauce was to die for. I think I could've slapped it on anything and I would've liked whatever it was I was eating ;) I'm just not sure of the beef with the mozzarella combination. I think a sharper type of cheese would probably have worked better. Cioppino: 5/5 It was delicious with a flavorful broth. You could taste the seafood, but it was not overpowering. Lots of nice chunks of salmon in there, and they didn't skimp on that. My boyfriend wanted to add pasta, which I'd recommend to soak up all the soup. It definitely needs something starchy, other than the two slices of bread. However, the bread tasted heavenly with it. Chicken tenderloin: 4/5 The chicken was cooked to perfection. Not too overcooked, or undercooked. It was also very flavorful and tasted like it was good quality. It was imbued in a pesto creamy sauce, and it sat on top of mashed potatoes. It had some kind of peppers in there as well. Normally I love these peppers, however I don't think it complemented the chicken very well. The only thing I was very disappointed in was that there wasn't much mashed potatoes. You definitely need a lot more mashed potatoes to compensate for all that protein.

Yelp
Saltyard redefines the Power Lunch by way of affordability and efficiency: 3 courses for $25 feels like I hit the jackpot! Hold on, you're thinking, it's only $25?! the portion sizes MUST be miniscule. I hate (love) to break it to you, but it's actually a full size entree. Which if you look at their menu prices (go ahead, I'll wait) entrees range from $17.99 to $45.99 you can go basic by choosing pasta as your entree or pay the extra supplement and a steak for lunch. With the mixed green salad as a starter and a light orange sorbet as your palette cleanser, you are set for the rest of the day, head back into the office and tackle HR Cheryl's emails that been hounding you for a few days now. The ambiance can pass for date night with the dimly lit space and dark colors and they have a nice patio that could be really welcoming in the summertime. Allot enough time for parking in the area as downtown can be busy or park at the Highland Parking Garage on Lorton Ave.

Yelp
Saltyard Came here the night before a conference while staying at a nearby hotel. I was looking for a good dinner spot and was very pleasantly surprised by how great their Ribeye (49.99) Prime grade grilled rib eye steak, garlic-herb mashed potatoes, assorted mixed veggies, and homemade steak sauce was. The steak was cooked perfectly and went really well with their homemade steak sauce. The workers were friendly and provided excellent service. Great place for a late night dinner

Yelp
I tried Saltyard during a work lunch. It's a cute restaurant in Burlingame. We got the burrata (5/5) and crab cakes (4.5/5; mainly crab with a bit of filling and well seasoned) as appetizers. I had the Sea bass as my main meal and it was cooked well but it needed better seasoning and the sides were underwhelming. I was overall looking for more flavor and elegance from this dish. I also had the creme brulee (4/5; it was properly bruleed but could have used some fruit and maybe a touch more vanilla in the custard). The service was pretty good and the waiters made sure our drinks were full. All in all, it was a decent meal but I think you could get better for the price.

Yelp
I went here on Tuesday evening with my mom and my dog. We made reservations, which turned out to be unnecessary since it wasn't too crowded, but we wanted to ensure we got a table outside for our dog. We were seated at a nice table with enough space for him. The service was excellent and very attentive; they even brought my dog a bowl of water before we ordered. My mom and I each had a glass of wine, which I found reasonably priced. For starters, we were served warm focaccia bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. For an appetizer, we ordered calamari, which I thought was really tasty, especially with the added banana peppers on top. For our entrees, my mom chose the skirt steak while I went with the ribeye. The skirt steak had a lovely teriyaki flavor that balanced sweetness and saltiness. My ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the portion was huge. It came with a flavorful sauce on the side that complemented the ribeye nicely. The dish also included asparagus and potato wedges, which paired well with the steak. I also peeked inside the restaurant on my way to the bathroom and thought the interior was beautiful. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come again!

Yelp
Visited this place for dinner with my employees and it was a good choice. I had the seabass and it was good with good flavor and a good pairing with the veggies and potato. The ambiance was great and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good and consistent. This is a nice place and will visit again in the future.

Yelp
I visit maybe once a quarter. Great food, always have seating, decent portions. I do like the carpaccio at Il Fornaio better. This place adds mustard Service is always friendly.

Yelp
Very Disappointing Birthday Dinner I've celebrated my birthday at Saltyard twice (in 2021 and again this past Friday for my 50th), and both times were a disappointment. Even though I called ahead and mentioned it was my birthday, there was no acknowledgment at all--no candle, no small gesture, nothing. Worse, the service felt rushed. The staff kept coming by to clear plates while we were still eating, and at one point, my unfinished food was taken away without asking. This was especially frustrating since the restaurant wasn't even busy. For such an important milestone, the experience felt anything but special. Sadly, after being let down twice, I won't be coming back.

Yelp
Came here with a large group and happy the could accommodate us and with a reservation in advance. We got seated right away. Everyone was friendly and prompt with our ordering and bringing food and drink out. We ordered a variety of drinks and food. The pomegranate martini was great and would recommend. It was well balanced and pretty. For appetizers we got the burrata and calamari. Both were delicious. I also tried the beet salad and sea bass/branzino for entree. The salad was great, wish there was a bit more goat cheese is all. The fish was cooked well and came with asparagus and potatoes. I enjoyed it all. The ribeye steak was ordered medium rare and was more medium when it came out. Still pretty good but would've been better if cooked as requested. We also tried the crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding dessert. The sticky toffee was great with the ice cream and would get again. The crème brûlée wasn't a hit and had a hint of lemon that we didn't love. Overall happy with everything

Yelp
MATT at the Bar! Sept 10th! MATT to the rescue! We had been in ICU with a 94 year old godmother for 7 grueling day's. MATT to the rescue with a kind YES to drinks... perfect...dinner... hot, great recommendation's.. we looked at him, wine? He asked, yes please...dessert he asked... we replied, bread and butter and he said... YES, I will have that to you in a second. A five star experience with five star MATT! Thank you!!

Yelp
Only been here for lunch. Not as crowded for lunch. The lunch special is a good deal: salad, main, and sherbet for dessert. The food is presented well and tasty. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Overall a good place to dine.

Yelp
Went here last weekend with another couple and had a great evening! We had reservations and were seated pretty promptly. Place is noisy but not over the top. Decor is darkish, clubby vibe with an amazing bar. Service: prompt and fine. The waiter could have been a bit more personable but I know he was super busy. I had seen a lot of complaints about the service here but for our experience it was fine. Food: delicious! I had the skirt steak and I cleaned the plate! Hubby had the seafood linguine I think and loved it. Our friends had the salmon and the sea bass and they were quite happy. Drink wise, I had a glass of their Riesling that was very nice. The dessert menu was not terribly inspiring but that was ok as we were very full. We would definitely come back as I would like to try other things on the menu. Great place!

Yelp
We had dinner here tonight Oct.31,Halloween night. It was surprising this area was kinda slow on a Friday night maybe. Because it's Halloween night . Service was great by our server named Herbert .. we ordered two appetizers the crab cakes and the lamb tacos it' was perfect for appetizers . Our main course was the sea shell pasta and the short ribs . Both plates was excellent . Yelp
Saltyard is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Burlingame with some patio seating and a large, high ceiling dining room. There is a full bar with modestly priced wine selections. The service is friendly and attentive. Having had a meal before, I only ordered the Brussels sprouts. WOW! So delicious! Yummy and crispy. The serving was so generous. DB ordered the risotto which was INSANELY DELICIOUS. It was rich and creamy and loaded with seafood, spinach and sundried tomatoes. I would definitely order it before. SIL ordered the crabcakes which were disappointingly fishy, so I would avoid those. It was an enjoyable meal with good service in a dark bistro. I would come again.

Yelp
My husband and I had been here several years ago and had fond memories of our experience. We returned with our son and were sorely disappointed with the attitude of the server. The restaurant was mostly empty when we walked in (without reservations). The server gave us a terrible table right in the middle of the hall which we asked to change. We asked whether they have half bottles of wine simply because we cannot finish an entire bottle and don't like to take leftover wine home, the server started showing us "inexpensive" wines on the menu which was strange. They got us house bread after our appetizers. We had come straight from school and our son would have very much appreciated some bread on time. The food itself was very good and the music as well. However at this price point I don't see the restaurant surviving for long at this location if they don't fix their service standards.

Yelp
My sister and I had lunch around the holidays here because she was craving carpaccio. We shared the Parmesan Truffle Fries ($7.99), the Beet Salad ($12.99 - Beets with arugula, orange, roasted almonds, crumbled goat cheese and grainy mustard dressing) and the Carpaccio ($14.99 - paper thin sliced filet mignon with red onion, capers, Parmesan cheese, arugula, mustard, caper aioli + lemon). The food was okay but wasn't particularly spectacular. For some reason the color of the carpaccio reminded me of raw pork instead of beef, so I felt a bit weird eating it. The beet salad was pretty ordinary, nothing too special. Fries are fries, and you can't really go wrong with that! Overall this spot wasn't too memorable for me to want to come back.

Yelp
Ciopinno was one of the best! Branzino with roasted potatoes yummy! Calamari app cheated with onion rings in it to make it look more full. Will go back.

Yelp
Great food has inside and outdoor dining! Wide variety of appetizers and entrees! Delicious food and staff members were excellent. We will definitely come again! Convenient parking across the street in the parking lot with paid meters up to 6 pm.

Yelp
My wife and I dined at Saltyard in Burlingame for lunch on Saturday, and we were pleasantly surprised. This place was recommended to us by a friend, and we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, it wasn't busy, so the service was on point, and we were seated right away. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy, modern decor that made for a pleasant dining experience. We decided to sample a few dishes, starting with the calamari, which was delicious and included battered onion strings--a nice touch. Next, we had the Caesar salad with salmon, which was another flavorful dish we both enjoyed. Then, we ordered the truffle ravioli, which had a great texture, and the sauce was very good. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding with vanilla ice cream, which was amazing. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back to try other dishes. The pictures I took might look different from the main dishes they serve because we split the dishes.

Yelp
Arrived at lunch time and was seated promptly. They took our drink order and brought out bread and drinks out in a timely manner came back and took our food order. We waited about 30 minutes to receive our food. The food was delicious. We ordered the cioppino and mini sliders, artichoke hearts, and fried calamari. We did sit outside so I cannot review the inside of restaurant.

Yelp
Excellent excellent dining experience at Saltyard! We had a celebration and a large party for lunch today and everything went perfectly! Excellent, beautiful, roomy and clean venue + excellent food where everyone enjoyed their dishes + excellent service where everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. An all around perfect experience! We would highly recommend Saltyard for your party hosting or regular dining.

Yelp
Came here to say 3 Saturdays ago in December for my niece's 22nd birthday. We were a party of 12. I loved the ambience - cozy, intimate, rustic, and lively all at the same time. The tables were arranged close to each other but it worked feeling together but still leaving space for each party. We had such a great time, chatting, laughing and eating while the staff waited on us. Our waiter was super and on point with everything - attentive but not over bearing. The food was awesome we all had different dishes & all were good - cioppino, ribeye, strip steak, chicken, seafood risotto, lamb, seafood fettuccine. Great place, great food & great ambience. Can't wait to come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Here on a Friday night and it had a good lively ambience. So much so that my aging eyes have a little hard time reading the menu lol but we do. Looks like a Mediterranean menu and concise drinks menu but solid wine options! It was a long week so opted for a barrel aged old-fashioned. Appetizers: -Calamari - yes this is on a lot of menus, but this rendition was very good, hot and crispy! Absolutely recommend and would order just for myself and not to share in the future :) -Burrata salad - standard but also good -Kale quinoa salad - definitely light on the quinoa, and we weren't fans of the Thai chili vinaigrette, but that might just be personal preference. Didn't seem to fit the theme either? Entree: -Lamb shank - my first time seeing this dish come de-boned. It was lamb and sauce over risotto. Unfortunately the risotto was more like plain rice, without much flavor, so it was a very one-note lamb dish. Wish there were more of the little dots of fruit puree. -Branzino - this looked really good and my friend literally cleaned the plate so I assume it tasted really good too. She was too quick for me to try a bite! -Seafood linguini - did get a bite of this and it was chock full of fresh-tasting seafood, solid pasta texture, not-too-creamy sauce so not gonna weight you down. They may excel on seafood here Dessert: -Crème brûlée - a little runny but tasted fine -Toffee pudding - whew this was decadent but crowd favorite and we finished it (didn't finish the crème brûlée)

Yelp
lamb shank was tender. the puree balanced out the savoriness of the meat. the risotto was cooked properly. overall a great dish. service was good, we had a party of 20 on a Sunday afternoon. parking can be tough on the weekends in Burlingame so plan accordingly (probably like 10-15 minutes before you arrive) good thing is that parking is pretty cheap. I've been here a few times but never got the lamb shank -- will definitely continue to get the lamb shank when I return

Yelp
Went to Saltyard a little after 6 PM on a Friday evening. It wasn't too, too busy which was great because I had an out of town guest and we needed to catch up. The service was great! Our server was attentive but not overly so. There was a champagne on the menu that they actually didn't have, so he came back with a suitable suggestion. We had the calamari to start with and it was a good way to start. Nice and crunchy with tartar and cocktail sauce. Then the entrees came. I will say that the portions were very good sized so you get good value for your money. This may be a problem for some, but the truffle mushroom ravioli didn't have a lot of truffle aroma to it. Oh it was there, but it was slight but I actually like it that way because it can be overpowering. I ordered the salmon, which normally comes with mashed potatoes and spinach. I asked if I could get a double order of spinach instead of the potatoes and that wasn't a problem. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. This is definitely a place I would visit again if I'm near SFO.

Yelp
Great service, beautiful decor! My wife had the Seafood Risotto, she said it was a 9 out of 10. I had the Short Ribs, which I think was like a 5 out 10.

Yelp
Well we had a different experience from most of the other reviewers here. I also want to say, that I rarely give only one or two stars to small businesses, but this was subpar in almost every way. First 5 minute impression: It was extraordinarily noisy. The front door opens wide directly down the center of the dining room with no cloth baffle or anything to protect diners and their food from frequent bursts of cold night air. Our server showed up to take drink orders pretty quickly. I ordered my usual, martini, up very dry with extra olives. "So no vermouth?" said the server. I'm thinking, well no vermouth would mean it's not a martini, right? When it arrived it was not dry and it had 2 olives (is that extra?). They had enough bussers and water carriers, but were light handed on the actual waitstaff, so long waits for almost everything. The chef is obviously not focussed on presentation. Every item we selected was pretty much thrown on the plate. Here's what we ordered: Lamb Tacos: $15 - 3.5 *. There were 2 small tacos and a small serving of dressed greens, lots of shaved carrots with pickled onions on top. Kind of an odd item for an appetizer, and out of character with pretty much everything else on the menu, but they tasted good. Crab cakes: $ 20 - 1*. First let me say, I asked if this could be done as entree portion and was told yes, but I was served the appetizer size (to their credit that's all I was billed for). There were 2 crab cakes each about 1.5" in diameter and 1/2" thick (miniscule) and mixed greens that were not dressed covering 80% of the plate. If I hadn't read the menu description, I would not have known these had any crab in them at all. They had a weird texture that was sort of gooey and gummy at the same time. I was actually relieved I didn't have a larger portion. Seafood Linguine: $30 - 2.5*. My husband ordered this and described it as similar to "Chef Boyardee" sauce, slightly overcooked pasta and a fairly good sized portion of seafood. Creme Brulee: $7 - 2.5*. Clearly premade and pre-torched and straight from the refrigerator. The flavor was vague and the texture was grainy. I won't bother to use my usual multi category rating system. Pictures not warranted. I will not be back!

Yelp
Great ambiance, attentive service, indoor and outdoor dining in the heart of Burlingame. Great easy menu with lots of tempting choices to tantalize your taste buds. The burger was so juicy and cooked to my liking. Wine selection was ample. The others at our table enjoyed the meatballs, and pasta dishes. A nice place to visit, sit and eat well.

Yelp
Good food and the ambience was nice. The service was good too. We ordered a cocktail and asked for it to be sweetened. Ended up being too sweet

Yelp
So happy I chose this place. Had a 5 o'clock dinner on a Tuesday night while attending a conference. The server greeted us right away and no wait to be seated. Had drinks and dinner ordered within the first 5-10 minutes. Very cute classy aesthetic. As we ate dinner the place filled up quickly, I could tell it was a favorite spot in downtown Burlingame. Our server checked on us several times and kept our water glasses full. I ordered the seafood linguine with a blood orange martini and my friend ordered the sliders with truffle fries. We both enjoyed our meal choice. I particularly liked the spiciness of my pasta dish. For dessert- strawberry cheesecake. Super creamy and delicious. Reasonably priced menu. Highly recommend this restaurant. If I had more time on my trip, I'd come back again.
