Came here for the first time yesterday and my experience was pretty good! The host/staff was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the blue crab cakes, oysters, warm baguette, and fries. The food was pretty good, the oyster were excellent; however the crab cakes were about average. I also ordered a Paloma which tasted pretty watered down. The food did come out very quick and it was hot; however, the crab cakes could've used more favoring as well as the drink. I would probably return if I was in the area.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. We were pleased to find out they severed Brunch until 3! We shared the croissant plate, and it was pleasantly good, but not great. The assortment of spreads was nice. I also ordered the crêpes, and they were very good. The strawberry sauce and the Grand Marnier style glaze was also good. The crêpes were probably my favorite. I also had the Croque Monsieur - and it was average to me (I didn't order it with the egg - aka Croque Madame, but it came that way, but they did not charge me; because it wasn't a big deal and they didn't charge I didn't bother to tell them about the mix up). The béchamel sauce disappeared (soaked in) and I wish there was more of it, maybe more on the side in a cup. The platting was nice and our server was nice and attentive. They have a free shared parking lot - I'm always happy to have a good place to park. It looks like they also have a patio come warmer weather. Also, I ordered a drink, I can't recall the name for sure, but it was something like Amethyst Fizz - it was an NA spritzer and it was really enjoyable. Even without perfect stars, I'd still go back. I enjoyed the food and my time there. I hope to go again in the summer. NOTE: the biggest reason I HAD to take 1 star was that we asked if we could take dessert to go, and if the apple tart (not sure it's actual dish name) would be OK to take to go... and they said yes. However, it came warm and with whipped cream on it... and I was not going right home, so the cream melted (wish it had been left off or put in a little cup) - and then when I opened it, it was a wet mess and the bottom crust was SO GROSS. So, I just wish they had said it wasn't a good to-go item, or to eat it right away/soon after leaving.

We like sampling new items on the menu during Happy Hour – it’s always unique and runs daily from 3-6 PM. The French Onion soup is excellent. You can order either a cup or crock. They do better than most for appetizers; the pan-seared scallops and jumbo shrimp cocktail taste great and are really fresh seafood options. For entries, the Lamb Curry and Bouillabaisse are good. Every opportunity that I have, I try this Provençal classic stew. It comes with mussels, crab legs, shrimp, a salmon chunk, pre-frozen bay scallops in a tomato-saffron broth. The accompanying garlic bread with melted soft cheese is just “Okay”. One person in our party tried their new red house wine and found it excellent. There is also bar seating inside. You can place take-out orders by calling in ahead of time. Reservations can be made via a link to Open Table in their Google Business Listing. They provide both men’s and lady’s restrooms. Wheelchair access is no problem as there are no steps to enter. We’ve always enjoyed great service and friendly staff. Inside, tables are spaced nicely apart. The outside patio is really fun during warmer months and is nicely lit after the sun goes down. It can also be quite crowded and have a long wait time on Fridays and Saturdays. But dining outside is worth it. Parking is a challenge during peak hours, the same as for most restaurants in the area. Entrées are a bit pricy, but serving portions are generous. Most are amble for sharing. Plan your trip ahead of time.

Good food in beautiful atmosphere. The outdoor patio provides an exceptional dining experience if the weather is nice. The portion sizes underwhelm for the price point, but overall, it’s a nice place to eat.

We had a good experience here and would go again. We sat inside but there is a huge outdoor area I would like to try next time. This places goes out of its way to let you know it is FRENCH! Decor, menu, etc. There are not as many entrees and choice as I would prefer, instead the menu is grouped into several sections with 4 or 5 items in each. We had the octopus appetizer and scallops appetizer both of which were wonderful. The drinks were fabulous, they make a great martini and give you an extra glass of booze to refill your stem glass. Nice. I had the Cobb salad entrée and I didn't really enjoy it. I should have ordered the baked walleye. My wife had the steak sandwich and really enjoyed it. Also as our waiter was bringing the round of drinks he spilled some down my back which I didn't appreciate!

Salut is perfect for dinner or just a nightcap thanks to their skilled bartenders, simple yet effective cocktail menu, and lively atmosphere. If you do go for dinner, the wines by the bottle are so well priced, you won't break the bank if you have a cocktail to start. The escargot was a great start and the pastry atop the mushroom tart was cooked to perfection but the star of the evening was the hangar steak with garlic butter and bernaise. Excellent value and great selection of wines by the glass too. Can't wait to try even more of the menu on their beautiful patio.

We were greeted and seated. My husband and I brought a friend to lunch. Our server took our drink order and gave us time to look at menu. We ordered Moroccan meatballs (3) and warm baguette to start. Very enjoyable. The Croquet Monsieur (1/2) for husband and friend. They just loved it. I ordered Petite Bouillabaisse. I thought the broth had little flavor and translated into the taste of crab leg, shrimp, salmon flavor bring bland. Have not been here in a few years but next time try something else.

Take out, food was prepared well and nice servers at front. Food was made earlier than expected and they called to tell me as well. Appreciative of that. Sandwich and side salads were delicious. Nice dressing as well.
