Another wonderful evening from start to finish. Carl and Paul were superb hosts, friendly and professional, making sure we were well looked after all night. The ambience was perfect and the food was beautifully presented and full of flavour. An all-round excellent experience 👌 👌 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

We had a superb Sunday lunch today. Roast beef with perfectly cooked vegetables, first class roast potato’s & gravy and the beef itself was both tender and tasty. Warm and welcoming environment with a roaring open fire and attentive staff and friendly landlords. The bar and toilets are spotlessly clean and the layout of small rooms provide an intimate and cosy atmosphere. The passion behind this place is clear in the Sunday lunch execution and general ethos of this charming little pub.

Great food, great value for money, great welcome from fantastic staff and a pub which is newly renovated to a very high standard which all contribute to a great experience, and now they have a well deserved. 5 * food hygiene rating! Highly recommended.

This location is closed, but they are erroneously still accepting bookings through third parties. I recently experienced this firsthand! We showed up for our 2-night stay in Carmarthen only to find the building locked and deserted. I called the owner and she said she's tried to get the listing removed, but without any success. It may reopen in the future, but until then, please do not book here! You will be in for a disappointment.
