First thing I should say, is that the sandwich was delicious. But the service was as bad as I've seen anywhere.
My father and I went there before a Monday night Broncos football game to order sandwiches to go. There were four guys behind the counter, and another in the back room. There was a sandwich being prepared for the one person ahead of us in line. It still took them almost two minutes to even acknowledge us. When they finally did, they were as rude and unfriendly as they could be. When they asked what kind of sauce my father wanted on his sandwich, he asked what his choices were. They pointed to the card taped to the deli case and told him to "just read the card that's right in front of you."
I continued to wait to place my order for another two minutes while the guys meandered about, avoiding eye contact and doing essentially nothing. Finally, the guy in the back room emerged, frustrated that he was being distracted from whatever critical task he was doing. He washed his hands, barely, and clearly muttered, "Jesus Christ!". He was then rude and short with me. I never was asked what type of cheese I wanted, so I politely mentioned I wanted provalone, to which he gave me a terse and belittling reply that my sandwich already came with provalone.
You know, I spend a lot of money at many establishments. I am not very demanding, and I don't offend easily. Ordering a dang sandwich isn't rocket science, and it's not my first rodeo. But the guys working that day (September 11th, 2017, at about 4:00pm) were among the worst I've ever dealt with. They had a genuine contempt for us, their customers, who did nothing more than order a couple sandwiches and expect a reasonable level of courtesy. That's your business, fellas. If it's too much trouble to do the thing you exist to do, then find other work.
I would never go back, no matter how good the sandwich was.
