We dined here and were very impressed. First off, one would not expect a nice Italian restaurant to be in a strip shopping center but this place is impressive. The owner, Salvatore, is in his eighties and there every night seating patrons. He’s got his MBA…”management by walking around” and making sure his customers are happy. The prices here can be steep but the dishes are outstanding. The atmosphere is charming & elegant. Their bread is outstanding which is charred and crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. The veal chop here is world class & exquisite. Not cheap but a huge portion. Their pasta like bolognese is excellent. Our service with Niagara was very accommodating. We dropped $178 with salad (split), wine bottle and tip included. I’m a level-7 Google reviewer and don’t award 5-stars unless they really earn it. Try it and you’ll be pleased too. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks.

We had an incredible experience at Salvatore D. Fine Italian Cuisine celebrating a 60th anniversary with a party of 11. From the moment we walked in, everything felt special. The food? Absolutely out of this world ! every dish was cooked to perfection, with rich, unforgettable flavors that showcased true Italian craftsmanship. You could taste the authenticity and care in every bite. The drinks and wine selection were equally impressive. Every cocktail was well-balanced, and the wine paired beautifully with the meal — smooth, bold, and perfectly matched to the food. That’s what everyone at the table was saying because I was the designated driver sooo didn’t get much of a taste there but I believe what they were saying . Then came the desserts, which truly sealed the night. each dessert was indulgent and masterfully prepared . The perfect sweet ending to an already flawless evening. The staff was attentive, warm, and made sure our large group was well taken care of from start to finish. This has officially become my new number one Italian restaurant, and I’ll be recommending it to anyone looking for top-tier Italian cuisine with exceptional service and ambiance. The menu is not updated when you search it up but when you get there, there’s a lot more options. Trust me I promise you will have a flawless night from start to finish!

This restaurant is a gem in Miami! Every part of dining in Salvatore is perfection! From the attentive, professional and kind staff, to the ambiance inside the restaurant, to the delicious food and drinks, this restaurant is a MUST fine dining experience in Miami. My family and I look forward to dining again in Salvatore! Perhaps my daughter’s comment encapsulates our experience the best, “Mommy, I feel like a princess. This is amazing.” Make your reservation! The photos I included feature the following delectable menu items: lasagna, the champagne risotto with halibut, homemade tiramisu and orange sorbet.

Google
After my first experience I was not sure if i would ever come back - so I did as I felt they deserved the benefit of the doubt. Let be be clear the actual restaurant has an amazing ambiance especially for where it's located (Winn Dixie shopping plaza). However by no means should this rest charge the prices and surcharges that they do. The wait staff is somewhat knowlegable but on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 4 and I'm being kind. Most importantly, the food - let me sum it up for you in the simpleset way I know how, they pride themselves as an Italian "Steakhouse" however not one single person in the restaurant knows what; Bernaise, Bordelaise or Peppercon (au poivre) sauces are - all meats are served dry except the filet migon which they use an au jus type sauce that you can find at the SubWay Sub Shop across the parking lot from them. Stay Away and save your money for a better experience !

Absolutely amazing Italian food. The calamari were delicious. The Chicken Parm was so big that I shared it with my Hubby. My favorite was the angel hair pasta with their vodka sauce. 😍 Cannot wait to go back.

Google
What a fabulous surprise when we opened the door and saw this magnificent quaint, cozy and inviting place. Our waiter José was amazing and so, knowledgeable. The menu and specials were abundant and JOSÉ was able to help us with the selection. (Thank you Jose) My wife ordered the swordfish cooked in a citrus sauce that was amazing, I ordered Fettuccine alla Carbonara with mushrooms and it was to die for. We will definitely be back to eat the entire menu

Yelp
Super Delicious and wonderful service. The front of the restaurant gives off a cheap hole in the wall vibe. But when you open the front door , it is a very elegant place and you are greeted right away. Great place to wine and dine with someone special.

Yelp
Food -had Fiocci Pera...usually can't go wrong with this pasta...delicious. So the Italian side if me decided to order 1/2 dozen garlic rolls. Well low & behold I get a huge loaf of bread...didn't know if not would not have ordered garlic rolls. So I decided I will take the loaf home. My pasta arrives... l asked about garlic rolls & told they are coming. I tried to reach my server but he was in the back somewhere. Well now finished my pasta & the garlic rolls arrived after...a little burnt on top really? So now I have a loaf of bread & 6 garlic rolls to take home...not happy . Food & ambience nice. Service hmm need more training . A little too expensive for me. Should be pampered a little more ...just saying.

Yelp
One of the worst restaurant experiences in a long time. The owners are rude and absolute dictators to their staff. What we experienced was concerning from many levels. The quality of seafood was poor. The calamari was clearly frozen. The salmon was the worst quality and tasted fishy. The pasta was clearly prepared as opposed to fresh because they could not alter the sauce type. The wine upcharge was one of the highest we have seen anywhere. Most importantly we saw the owner treatment of staff which was concerning on many levels. ...and this is a little Sunset shopping plaza restaurant. The prices and upcharges may have been the trendiest of places in design district or Wynwood. A definite no and skip this!!!

Yelp
We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer. It was very good! I came back for the gigantic shrimp from the Indian ocean (Gambery Jumbo). It was good but the halibut from last time was better. It came with fettuccine and mussels in a scampi sauce. I ordered a 1/2 order of champagne risotto. Everyone loved the risotto. My sister ordered the giant lobster, which came with mussels and pasta or vegetables. She requested the vegetables. She loved the lobster! I was so relieved! My cousin had the salmone al legno, which he said was very good. It came with spaghetti on the side. My sister ordered a moscato and my cousin had a tito. Both were good. For dessert, we had the creme brulee and the lemon sorbet. The lemon sorbet was refreshing and delicious but the creme brulee was cold and the top wasn't hard. It was disappointing. My cousin had an espresso, which he said was excellent. Cesar was our server but, if I had walked in before they sat us, I would have requested Yason. We kept searching for Cesar. Yason came over to say hello and I really wished he had been our server. He sprinkled cheese on my pasta because Cesar was nowhere to be found. If you go, request Yason as your server. He's wonderful!

Yelp
This place has a classic old school ambiance to it. Located in a shopping center an inconspicuously hidden gem. I made reservations for dinner last night, we were a party of 10 celebrating the wife's birthday. As old school as they maybe, the menus are on iPads that they had out. Wait staff was prompt with bringing bread to the table and taking drink orders. After some time that we were settled in, waiter came around explaining the days specials and asking if we had any question regarding the menu. He promptly took our order, I order Arancini for app and Chicken Piccata for main meal (I have been on a hunt for a good chicken piccata). The wife ordered her favorite Fiocchi pasta of Pear and Gorgonzola. She ordered the house croquettes as an app. The app came and the arancini was good, shared with brother n law and sister n law and that really liked the flavor. The croquettes w wire definitely house made, nice texture and flavor. My Chicken Piccata was good, filet was not too thick, sauce was not too sour and not a thick build of corn starch either, my side of pasta could have been a bit warmer. My wife loved here Fiocchi pasta, I tried a piece of hers and it had a nice flavor. Pasta was filled with pear and the sauce was of gorgonzola with broccoli florets. Oh wait let me not forget the cannoli, oh boy.... NO B.S here.... This has to be the best damn cannoli that I have had in a long while. So you can understand my cannoli expertise; I grew up in an Italian neighborhood outside Chicago, bro-n-law is Italian, my friend owns an Italian bakery in Chicago ( IL Giardino del Dolce) and have travelled to Italian having had the best cannoli in my opinion when we visited San Gimignano. Hidden gem of a joint !

Yelp
Went with a very large group during the week with a table full of children. They were so accommodating, and even helped our kids cut their steak. Food is delicious and service is amazing! Such a gem!

Yelp
Hi everyone and I truly hope that 2023 is off to a great start for all of you. Well I find myself this evening at "Salvatore D. Fine Italian Cuisine" and I have to honestly say that the quote from Forrest Gump accurately describes how I felt when I first walked in, "Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get...". Boy I sure did not know for sure. From the outside and the location, you would never, ever know what awaits within, which I can happily say was a very tasteful, relaxing and classy environment. From the waiting area to the dining area to the full bar area, everything was very well laid out in my humble opinion. The ambiance of this restaurant was very romantic and classy as well and we really enjoyed it. Came to find out that they have been around for 13 years and I just discovered them. Where have I been but hey, better late then never I guess right! Anyway, so upon our arrival we were greeted by Maria (Owner's Wife) and her daughter who proceeded to ask us if we had reservations (which we did not), so they regrouped and then offered to seat us at the bar which really turned out to be very, very cool. Great opportunity to socialize, make new acquaintances and have some nice conversations. Speaking of the bar everyone, they do have a full bar and I have heard that Sal (Owner) makes a mean Old Fashioned so that will be on the agenda for our next visit. Sal (aka Salvatore) I came to find out has been a bartender most of his life outside of being a restaurateur and it was very evident as we watched him work his magic. Also important to note that the bar was impeccably organized. Was really great to watch Sal do his thing. Now I have read some of the other reviews highlighting bad or terrible customer service having been been experienced here; however, all I can say about that is it was absolutely not the case where our visit was concerned this evening. Reality is they were booked solid and they could have just turned us away and they did not. I really appreciated them working with us. Maria, Sal, their daughter and our server Juan Carlos were all awesome! Seeing as we sat at the bar it really gave us an opportunity to get to know them a little better as we struck up some conversations with them and a few others that were dining at the bar. Sal is Italian and Maria is from Spain and they make a very nice team / couple but hey no spoilers I will let you all find out the rest for yourselves! LOL and on to the food! Juan Carlos our server was on it from the get go and made some very nice recommendations starting with the Grilled Octopus which was excellent, with two large tentacles to boot. Not gummy at all and grilled to perfection as well. I want to take a moment to mention the Italian bread as it was really good. Warm, soft with a great crust.... pair it up with some butter or olive oil and balsamic vinegar and you have some magic happening here. Can you tell I liked the bread.... I also had a Pasta Fagioli soup for starters which was very good as well. For our main courses we opted for a tried and true favorite "Chicken Parmigiana" and one of the specials of the day "Grilled Atlantic Halibut with a Champagne Reduced Risotto" recommended by Juan Carlos. Both entree's were excellent and we enjoyed them greatly. Rounding the corner to finish up the evenings meal we opted to share the Flute D' Limoncello and I also had a Cappuccino. The limoncello dessert was very cold and refreshing and really hit the spot. Was very light which is exactly what we were shooting for. Overall, I have to say that the entire experience was excellent and all the great conversations with the owners and others at the bar really made for a fantastic evening. Parking should not be a problem as they are located in a small shopping center that had plenty to spare. That said, I highly recommend that if you are looking to try an amazing Italian restaurant you definitely should give this place a shot. Great for those romantic first outings, anniversary's and everything in between. Keep an open mind and go with the flow and I guarantee you will have a great experience. I know we did! Be safe, Enjoy and Bon Appétit mes amis!

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance are always all great when visiting Salvatore D. Never ever disappointing.

Yelp
Well it had been awhile since our last visit here and now I remember why. Although it falls in line with current miami pricing there are some things that just made this my last meal at this place 1.There was a other taxes on our bill 2.they charge us 13.00 for a side of veggies.13.00 bucks 3.they charged us 4.95 for sharing 4. they charges us a supplemental fee Dafuc is that? If y'all gonna nickel & dime people , we won't stand for it.. The food is good but you took the enjoyment of your food right out of the taste with your bullshit add on and ridiculously expensive veggie plate. No MaS!

Yelp
Well was here ounce years ago. It was a great experience then. Fast forward to now as an adult and i loved it even more. First the ambience . The place is incredible. Its in a mall with small businesses very normal and grocery store etc.. the window and door just has the name and then you walk in and you are transported into a new world. Wow i mean dim light wine staging everywhere and cabinets plus even a couch waiting area all very well decorated and with italian taste. A bar is here just as impressive. We sat in a table and were shocked by the table setting romantic Italian so sheik. The menu is vast and Jose our server who was awesome told us delicious specials. We ordered the Italian spiral sausage very good loved it juicy and properly cooked so good . No rush here we ordered two rounds of drinks then a bottle of their incredible wine list. Good prices and something for everyone. I ordered the veal chop which was perfectly cooked and huge good for 2 people for sure w some linguini and sauce . Wow soft veal and good cheese hot melted perfectly prepared. My wife ordered the Seabass with the sauce that almost made me faint . Now we have ordered this in other restaurants private Seasons Mortons etc.. it is possibly the most delicious item i have tasted this year and so on . My goodness perfectly cooked flaky not too much and the sauce hot wow i mean its a ten! We had canoli and Limoncello flute for dessert and after dinner sambucca . The service is impeccable. The manager owners and server were always there said hello ask how we were i mean they made us feel so special. This is truly a restaurant gem that is i have to say the best!

Yelp
The food is amazing and the service doesn't disappoint. The ambiance is relaxing and romantic highly recommend it.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was horrible. Waiter had an attitude, rude and tried to upsell us everytime. Even charged us $25 to cut a cake without letting us know. When asked about it, they said we charge because if u have your own cake u wont order dessert. Charged us to share plates. Charged us $4 for each basket of bread.... yet we didn't order it. And they have like 4 different "taxes and fees" Very unfriendly. Service means more than the taste of food. Won't be coming back. That's for sure. Oh almost forgot, waiter tried to over charge me $100.

Julio R.

Yelp
Food was good but not for the price charged. 1 burrata, 1 eggplant parmigiana, 1 halibut with champagne risotto, 2 macchiatos, 1 coconut ice cream and one HALF BOTTLE of Caymus at $117 and 1 San Pellegrino. Bottom line: 2 people; $284 + Tip. Bill comes saying tip NOT included but with some unclear additional fees/surcharges/taxes. Food was good but certainly not the best I've had for this price. Service was decent too but WOW..........

Yelp
The Octopus was rotten, the smell was super strong and they called the owners over to try to convince us saying he sells many pounds of it per week, but I have been coming here for over 9 years and the smell was so powerful I couldn't eat it. I won't be back again. They still charged me even thought I didn't eat a single piece, I won't be back again. It smelled horrible and the worst part wast they didn't even try to fix it, instead they tried to convince me to eat something that smell rotten. Won't recommend it or go here again.

Beatriz A.

Yelp
The food is always great here however it has gotten a bit too expensive. The service is always good as well as the ambiance.

Yelp
Always reliable good - food and service. Family run, warm and friendly staff. We'd recommend it for anyone looking for a good upscale neighborhood Italian restaurant.

Peter A.

Yelp
The Food was great, the service was attentive but way too much, they would pull your plate and we were not even done with are meals, make sure that if you decide to want to celebrate your birthday to double check your receipt they have extra charges for everything, they charged us $25 to cut the cake and they never mentioned it to us at all. I am not being cheap but be direct with your customers.. And to top it off at the end of are meals when it came time to pay they wanted to over charge my brother and his wife.. The Family was very unhappy with the decision to celebrate my Mothers Birthday here, If whoever reading this review if you want a bad experience and not a professional staff, and get robbed in your face go to Sabatore they will truly leave you not wanting to go back just has we are not going to go back. ..... NOT Recommended at All...

Yelp
Hi Went to Salvatore for the first time. Told the owner it was our first time. Took 15 to be acknowledged had to ask for a waiter. Did not have the wine I ordered. Ordered the octopus it was O k. Ordered the most expensive item 2 the Lobster with pasta $89 each. An hour went by no food, the waiter kept apologizing the owner came said soon. After 1 and 20 minute got our lobster. Took one taste and I knew it was super frozen, not fresh . It look like a good size lobster but it tasted like absolutely nothing. $89 and you get a frozen lobster no taste. Make it smaller but fresh. Did they offer anything in consideration for 1 hour and 20 min delay No! Check your bill it had $9 of some fee and $3 of other taxes. I don't mind paying $375 for a nice dinner with great food and great service . This dinner had neither.

Giancarlo S.

Yelp

Chris S.

Yelp
Went for Aunts birthday and atmosphere was amazing very nice place. Unfortunately it is just decent food not bad but definitely not great so pretty good. Terrible for price plus all additional fees. A supplemental fee which is a credit card fee, sharing fee on all checks due to sharing napkins butter bread etc etc never heard of this before. Waiter didn't know either so I asked the owner. Additional 1% tax which I never heard of but if it goes to homeless people I won't be back Owner is very nice though

Yelp
Love, love, love their rigatoni Bolognese! Authentic little gem found inside a shopping center but don't let that fool you! This restaurant will transport you to a beautiful romantic night in a small Italian town. Maria is always so nice and pleasant!

Yelp
Great Italian food. Service is very attentive, always around when you need something. The ambiance is good, quiet and elegant. Highly recommend the veal, or chicken parmigiana I have had both and they are delicious. Wife had Ossobucco was delicious. Definitely will be back again.

Yelp
Care for a nice Italian meal, you got it, spaghetti bolognese is my favorite, and fried calamari or grilled octopus as a starter Service is always good and pleasant.

Yelp
Let me start by saying.. I don't care if you have the best food on the planet, if your customer service sucks, I will not come back. I am a very loyal customer to the places I love and am treated well. When we walked in, they sat us at the smallest booth possible with a bunch of tables open. We asked the waiter to ask the hostess if we could move to a different table so we could sit next to each other- who I believe to be the owners wife, snarled at us as we thanked them for moving us. The second we sat down we were pressed about 3 times on ordering a bottle of wine and if not, telling us they had a special on half bottles. I said multiple times I wasn't interested- for many reasons, you should not be so pushy for alcohol. We asked for recommendations on appetizers and he went on just to tell us the two most expensive appetizers were the best. We know better than that so made our own choices. We ordered the ham croquetas with the bechamel and the rice balls... neither of which had much flavor and were just pretty boring. As entrees, I ordered the veal parm and my boyfriend ordered the veal chop parm. I asked if I could sub out the spaghetti w marinara sauce for penne with vodka (which I do at almost every Italian place we go to and we go a lot) and he said it would be an up charge. I asked him to clarify because he was making it sound like it was a heavy up charge and he said it would be half the price of the full plate of pasta, which is about $13 for a side. I said forget it and stuck to the spaghetti side. The food came out and the second I put the steaming hot veal parm in my mouth the waiter swarmed the table asking how our dinner was... my only reply could be "I don't know, it's hot." The spaghetti tasted like legitimate throw up- no exaggeration. This was a horrendous experience and choice for Italian food in Kendall/Miami. I wouldn't recommend it, ever. I honestly don't even have one good thing to say about it. It was extremely overpriced, customer service was unenjoyable, and the food sucked.

Luis F.

Yelp
went to restaurant with the family. issues with other table as they broke a glass oil canister. a piece of glass cut my wife's ankle. the table told the owner that my wife caused this when it was the employee and the table that had an issue. all we wanted was someone to at least say they were sorry. owner, employee and table did not care. I think I will be taking my business somewhere else from now on.

Charlotte G.

Yelp
This restaurant transports you to a elevated authentic Italian classy New York experience. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, in white jacket uniforms. The place was buzzing with people from all the guests and the workers it was very very busy. The food came out hot and fresh. We had shrimp cocktail was delicious and fresh. The Veal Osso Buco was generous serving, wonderfully seasoned and great presentation-see photo. Eggplant Parm delicious!!! Fresh crusty bread was served with butter on the side. Dessert Crème Brûlée perfect with Cappuccino! Family run by Salvatore for 14 years! Salvatore In the picture below, friendly and we will be back!!!

Corinne M.

Yelp
Top level service. Highly professional and the food does not disappoint. Hidden gem, I suggest having a reservation.

Yelp
This was our second visit to this place and our experience was similar. We were a group of 4. The "owners" don't seem very excited to welcome their customers, but the server was very friendly. As with the previous time, we were told what all the specials were, but not the price of any of them. I asked the price of the grilled octopus and the waiter acted confused. He said "I think it's about $18." It was actually $24.95. I have no idea why this place would try to deceive their customers. The food is good and they certainly have a following of loyal clients. I go to several restaurants a month and I've never had a problem getting the price of anything! This is to the owners: be honest, have all servers prepared with the price of every special and tell them to include it with the description, and most importantly, don't take your customers for granted. There are way too many great restaurants in Miami...

Yelp
You guys definitely need to check out this spot. It really is a whole in the wall in the middle of nowhere. I've been here a good 5 or 6 times and the food is delicious. My favorite main course is the osoduko, I didn't get it this time because I wanted to try something else and everything was awesome as usual. . . . Check out the pictures( I'll definitely come back for that osoduko and that lasagna)

Yelp
Fantastic Place...we been there a few times with friends and they never disappoint. You feel like you travel to Italy. The food and the service are great.

Yelp
The best Italian place around!!! Excellent food Outstanding service Family Owners at site

Yelp
You wouldn't expect to find such a fine restaurant in a typical shopping center. Both food and service is outstanding. The owner is always there watching over things and greeting the customers. This is not your typical spaghetti joint.

Yelp
Over price , they charge 3 different taxes and fees . Unacceptable. And the waitress was very annoying

Yelp
Exquisite, fine dining, excellent service. The people here care for you and your meal. The owner is proper and cares for his customers, makes it feel like home. Highly recommend

Yelp
Yeison and Jose took great care of us. We had halibut, fiocchi, branzino & veal. Martinis and Malbec. Effortless parking and the owners are always close by.

Yelp
My family could not stop raving about this restaurant choice! Everyone was happy with their meal selections and the vibe. Overall excellent Italian restaurant from the ambiance to the service and food. We went on Mother's Day at 3 pm and it was the perfect place to go in the Kendall area that offers a fine dining experience without a wait time. This is a hidden gem and will quickly become a staple choice for Italian dining. I was nervous about the location, but once you step inside it transports you to a different place that feels so quaint and cozy that you forget it's in a strip mall. I live in downtown Miami and this easily tops any Brickell restaurant in terms of quality and experience - and is unmatched when it comes to price. The food feels authentic. The service was excellent and the servers are dressed in white jackets which elevates the experience. The food came to the table at the perfect rate so we were able to enjoy our time together but not starve as we waited. Parking was so easy! I already can't wait to go back! It's been around for 14 years and I cannot believe I didn't know about it before!

Yelp
We opened the door to the restaurant and we're immediately greeted with nasty looks. Sat in a corner obscured from everything, asked to be moved and the owner (female) gave us a dirty look and moved us with an attitude. When we were greeted by our server he asked if we wanted wine and we replied with "no thank you". He then proceeded to ask again and again and again .. until my girlfriend made it a point that we didn't want wine. Ordered 2 apps, which in my opinion weren't that great what so ever. As our entrees we got 1 veal parmigiana with side pasta which we asked if we could switch the sauce to vodka and the reply was "no but you can order a pasta dish with vodka sauce" which was an additional $15 . I ordered the bone in veal chop for $55 which I thought wasn't that great what so ever. Presentation was good on everything . Overall we did not like the food at all, as I go to many Italian restaurants. This is the most over priced for the quality of food of an Italian restaurant in "Kendall" that I've ever been to. Ambiance was romantic and nice but that's about it. Again I will critique the customer service which was horrible. As a business owner you should treat everyone with respect. This unfortunately was not the case.

Yelp
In the middle of nowhere Kendall...there is Salvatore D. An excellent Italian Restaurant run by Family. With impeccable service and quality food every time. This upscale restaurant will not disappoint. From complimentary bread to the most succulent prawns the size of the Empire State Building, you will leave satisfied. Chef specials are always a great way to go. Yes .... they are pricey but we'll worth the extra bucks. This last visit we had the Porterhouse steak, fish special and home made lasagna. Also as appetizer grill Octopus which at Salvatores is a must have. Salvatore D is a great place to eat bring friends and have a good time. Ossobuco is Sooooo good. (Huge) Do come here and give it a try. IT IS GOOD!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami. It is tucked away in a shopping center and I am very happy to have found it. I have been to Salvatore a few times and each time I have gotten something new and each time was delicious. I recently dined here with my husband and we ordered the muscles as an appetizer and chicken Parmesan and lasagna for our entrees. We were greeted as we walked in and immediately seated. Our waiter came by to say hello and take our drink orders. The owner came by and answered my questions and recommended a wine based on our preferences. The service is incredible and the restaurant is cute and cozy. It is a great date night spot: The food is absolutely delicious! We left stuffed and defiantly had our pasta fix.

Yelp
I am very picky for Italian food as I mentioned in prior post, but then there is Salvatore D that pulls me in. This was the location for my wife's baby showers over seven years ago, they provided an amazing experience. This past Saturday we decided to make reservations for dinner, I highly recommend making reservations. The interior of the restaurant has a very homey feeling and the owners are super friendly. They start you out with warm fresh bread before they bring you the menu, we asked for two glasses of white wine as well as two appetizers their famous grilled octopus and their special king crab. Both were super fresh, very tasty and the portions were large especially for starters. The main entree my wife ordered was the spaghetti with a huge plump lobster with four large shrimp tails. The sauce was homemade and the shellfish were amazing! I ordered my favorite Italian dish, gnocchi with the same fresh red sauce, it was a home run! For dessert we ordered the mango gelato, which was creamy and not to sweet. The only downside of Salvatore is that is not cheap but for a special splurge.
