"Salvatore’s decade-old Seaport District location (225 Northern Ave., Boston) has served its last plate of pasta. The closure follows many months of diligently working on renewing the lease, as stated in a Facebook post by the restaurant. Salvatore’s decision to close was influenced by the Seaport’s astronomical rents. However, Salvatore’s suburban locations — including Andover, Lawrence, and Medford — will remain open, along with one in Boston’s Theater District." - Terrence Doyle

They have two spaces, a bar area with tables and dinning area. The dinning area looked crowded. The bar area was more spaces and plenty of TVs. The food was good and reasonably priced. I can see how this place can get crowded on both sides fast. Seems like a younger adult crowd. The wait staff were all nice.

we were here for dinner on a Saturday night, made reservation so got seated right away; our server Tyler was very attentive; good risotto, great burger, excellent calamari!

Awesome Italian food! Staff is friendly and the portions are huge, the three of us shared a small pizza and a little appetizer.

Nothing was bad, but nothing was great. Three of us each ordered a 12” pizza and ate less than half our food. The chicken pesto pizza is a little bland.

Good Italian restaurant, medium pizza is already quite big. Nice staff and atmosphere

We went to celebrate a birthday on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived but filled as the evening went on. Service was quick and efficient and our waiter was excellent. Decent bar menu and pretty good food selections from pizza to seafood. Our orders came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone enjoyed their food, including mac & cheese, butternut squash ravioli and kids pasta and meatballs. My chicken parmigiana was very good. We also had salads and deserts including cheesecakes and chocolate cake. Overall, the modern decor is nice but the tables are packed in a little close. The garage at the location is expensive so look elsewhere. Looking forward to a return trip or trying one of the other locations.

we ordered the calamari appetizer, and I ordered the broccoli and chicken Alfredo for my entree, and it was the best Italian food I've ever had. The Alfredo sauce was amazing! I wish that they had a location in my city. The only bad thing was that we made a reservation, but we still had to wait for about 30 minutes when we got there because they said that some big groups walked in.

Cafeteria style atmosphere. Made reservations a week in advance and we were sat at the bar, When we requested a booth, we were sat in a corner with a screaming child. Food was terrible! ordered apps, Bad!, We took only a bite or two of our entrees before asking for the check. Only thing good was the wine. Waiter was pleasant, but clearly oblivious to our dislike of our food, and left iour full plates in front of us for the duration of our short stay. I would not recommend this restaurant!
