Salzano

We booked this spa hotel as we could actually book 1 night after Christmas and everywhere else we had to book 2 nights. We had 3 deluxe rooms for the family but I would not call them deluxe. Rather old fashioned, small room and with small sink, part of our tap was missing and the shower above the bath. We went to the spa for several hours on the Saturday afternoon, which we enjoyed the various saunas but it is too small. There are 24 rooms at the hotel, and external people can pay a fee and also use the spa so only 11 loungers in the Ruhe Zone is not enough as you had to wait for one to become free. People took books and phones in which meant they were lying there a long time. The hot tub was fun, but the view is the cars driving past..it needs more shielding around the pool.|We chose not to have dinner at the Michelin on site as the reviews had not looked great and so we went elsewhere, which was excellent. Breakfast was good the next day although lots of dried meats but no smoked salmon, which was a shame. Our daughter needed gluten free bread which they provided. Good coffees and even prosecco if you needed it.

We were here over Valentine’s day weekend and had a lovely time. The hotel is located in a quiet area. Some may find the rooms on the street side a bit noisy with the road, but I did not mind the ambient noise at all. The restaurant within the hotel was great, and the service was outstanding! We made full use of the spa area, which was also nice after a day on the slopes. The panorama sauna was amazing with a nice view.

Lovely chalet style small hotel. A bit out of town but the bus serves it every hour. Gorgeous spa / sauna / steam in a separate smaller chalet out back with views of the mountain and an outside pool. Don’t fret the “nude” rule one can easily wear a towel. Room was very hot but the nice staff turned down the under floor heating. Nice breakfast.

Our stay at Salzano Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location is simply amazing, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the beautiful nearby fields — such a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The spa facilities are excellent, especially the jacuzzi and sauna, making it perfect to relax and unwind. The service is outstanding. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thank you to Mr. Fabian, the owner — a truly kind and grateful gentleman who warmly greets us and even treats us with chocolates every time we meet him. Such a lovely personal touch! As a small suggestion, it would be great to remove the carpets in the rooms to enhance freshness, and to reconsider the room service charge, as most hotels include this without additional fees. My husband has already left a review, but I truly felt this hotel deserves another one from me as well. They genuinely operate at the level of at least a 4 star hotel. What made our stay more memorable was how involved and attentive the owners are with their guests. Their personal interaction and care made our experience feel warm, welcoming and truly personalised. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

This is a cute place with a nice view and the staff is nice but in my time here we found live and remains of bed bugs on the bed. We asked to be switched rooms and ended up going to three different rooms, including a suite, and each had bed bugs. The breakfast was delightful but the Michelin guide restaurant was not good at all. The prices were high for food that we couldn’t even finish because it didn’t taste good. I was hesitant to leave this review because I don’t like to leave bad reviews but it’s something I wish I knew before booking my stay.

This place has stolen my heart, it was go good and the place has amazing views from Balcony. It felt like a magical spot. The rooms were good, service was excellent. All the staff were very pleasant and helped us with directions. The spa was amazing and after a long day of walking it’s so relaxing to use the sauna and the heated pool.

A great value for the Interlaken area. Comfortable room and the dinner in the restaurant is delicious! We also received spa services that were well priced and enjoyable. Tip to other travelers: you can use the beautiful spa space for free as a hotel guest. It's a nice spot to relax, catch up on reading and enjoy the lovely views of the mountains. The staff even remembered my husband's birthday. A sweet treat awaited him at breakfast. It was an unexpected extra special touch. Breakfast is well appointed and delicious as well. Plenty of parking if you have a car. If no car, the bus stop is close by and routes are easy to navigate. We would stay again at the hotel and most certainly would eat at the restaurant again.
