The 24 Best Restaurants In Lyon 2024

"This Brazilian spot reliably draws South American expats and longtime locals with its crisp cassava fries, chewy pão de queijo, all-you-can-eat churrasco, and the richest, thickest feijoada imaginable. Caipirinhas are obligatory—get a little spicy with the ginger version, or sweeten it up with passion fruit. Rattan furnishings, indigenous folk art, colorful wood paneling, and mosaic floor tiles give it a warm and authentic vibe, and the samba dancers who parade through while you’re having dinner give you a little taste of Rio de Janeiro during carnival." - anna richards

Charming little Brazilian restaurant, with nice decor. Service was a little slow, as took 15 minutes from being seated for a server to take my drink and food order. Food however, was quickly delivered and presented well. It was a large portion (I actually couldn’t eat it all) and it had plenty of flavour. Good choice of cocktails. Good value for money. I will return when next in Lyon.

Great little restaurant. Super busy and the food was delicious. Service could have been better, but I guess being such a busy restaurant and it being Saturday the staff was a bit flustered. However, the owner was very attentive and nice and once I mentioned the service, he made sure it didn’t happen anymore. From then on service was great. Highlight of the night was definitely the dancer, which brought a really fun vibe to the evening. I would definitely come back.

I love this restaurant! The best Brazilian restaurant that I have seen in Lyon. The food was incredible and the service was impeccable. The employees were really kind and gave me a spectacular drink. The atmosphere was electric with the Samba dancer and the music, made me really integrate with the vibes and helped me get a taste of the Brazilian culture. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The food was great. We had the pleasure to try good Brazilian food and drinks. It was recommended by colleagues and we had one Brazilian guest who said it was authentic tasting. The highlight though was the dancer. She is on fire and a pleasure. She heats up the place with her charisma.

I read through a range of reviews to gather different perspectives. I will do my best to provide an objective evaluation. I was slightly disappointed because I had expected larger portions and was surprised to find that mutton was not included among the ingredients. Additionally, I found it confusing to keep track of my progress during the meal. It would have been helpful if they clearly indicated whether I was on my 3rd out of 7 courses or 4th out of 8. In fact, at the end of the meal, there was some confusion regarding whether the courses were complete or not. Personally, I still felt hungry after finishing the meal. If you expect the churrasco menu to be sufficient on its own, it may not be. I would recommend ordering additional items to ensure you have enough food. On a positive note, the waiters and the entire team were very friendly and welcoming. However, I observed that the restaurant has two reservation time slots: 7pm and 9pm. Throughout the meal, we were repeatedly asked if we had finished, which made me feel somewhat uncomfortable due to the perceived pressure. This rushed us to finish our meal and hurried us to the billing process. I'm uncertain if this is part of Brazilian food culture. I gave the restaurant a three-star rating because I had higher expectations for the overall dining experience.

Incredibly close to the metro station, this was a nice place to dine. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and the Brazilian dancing throughout the night really brought even more life into the place. All of our meals were delicious, it’s just a shame that the servers were not kind to our group at all. One member of our group since receive their meal for a long time because the server forgot to add it to their system. We managed to have a good time regardless.

My Brazilian boyfriend and I decided to try this place attracted by the atmosphere and the tempting menu. Unfortunately, the reception was bad, from the moment we entered. We were made to sit down and were left waiting as if they had forgotten us. We at least asked for water which never arrived until our orders arrived. The dishes are beautifully presented but the quality deeply disappointed our expectations. There was no way for us to express preference on the cooking of the meat and we were served a picanha half of which was fatty. Not an ounce of kindness from the service which ruined the whole atmosphere that had attracted us to try this restaurant. Never again.

The ambience and the service were nice, good location near parking. The food was sub par. I will not return.
