"Hoping to begin pouring by the end of the month, local favorite Sambalatte will soon debut its second downtown location, taking over a bright corner site at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and showcasing the added attraction of “afternoon high tea.” The fourth Sambalatte outlet to practice the ”art of sipping,” the interior has been designed by Novus Architecture to incorporate a “modern and sophisticated look to match the Smith Center,” including a curved, marble counter and a tile, mosaic map charting the globe’s coffee resources. Original plans anticipated room inside for 48 guests, and 36 more out on the patio, serving seven days a week. The specialty of this location will be the advertised “afternoon high tea” available during the Center’s Broadway Series events and “other high profile performances.” Accompanied “by live music, from jazz duet to classic guitar players” and requiring booking 24 hours in advance, the experience will feature “finely cut sandwiches together with freshly baked scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, followed by a delectable selection of afternoon teacakes and pastries. There are also 12 different types of loose-leaf tea to choose from.”" - Bradley Martin

Great tasting iced latte. I'm very picky w coffee because I'm a barista. They made it to my exact requests. Love the big menu & lots of non-dairy options! Friendly & calm service. Would come again!

Outstanding service, they offer sugar free flavors. My son loved the chocolate muffin.

It's a wonderful and very friendly, unique coffee place that also serves tea and paninis. I know next time I will get their Caprice Panini, with fresh basil, tomato, and fresh mozzarella. Reminds me of the ones I used to make. Luiz Oliveira is the owner, and I can't wait to meet him. He is so lucky to have Barista Luis Lozano working for him. He happily greeted me when I came in and made my espresso taste all the better! When he served me my espresso in the pretty red ceramic cup on a white plate....it made me smile. The view of the fresh green plants outside the coffee house is a delight to the eyes and soul too!!!! Paulette L. Motzko PLM STUDIOS, LV I will definitely be back!

Only have one person working during lunch. She can't keep up with traffic flow. Unfair to her to have to bus tables, restock the Togo area, make the drinks and food and man the register. Stood in like for 20 min during lunch rush and then had to leave before being able to even order my food.
