"Sambalatte now has its fourth location in Las Vegas, serving theatergoers, local business employees, and museum patrons at its newest location at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Coffee, high-tea, and pastries all make the menu. Owner Luiz Oliveira, who is originally from Brazil, brings rare coffee beans and teas as well as specialty brews during the Smith Center’s Broadway Series beginning with a Hakuna Ma-Latte for The Lion King. Sambalatte also features its own cold brew, Samba Rock. High tea service starts in December. Also on the way, cheese and charcuterie platters, beer, wine, and Champagne. This location features colors that reflect coffee beans in their various stages of growing and roasting with hues ranging from white to green, red, ash, mocha, and rich brown. The walls incorporate reclaimed wood from a barn located on a farm where coffee was grown and housed. The lighting and chandeliers are created from repurposed vintage coffee baskets used to pick coffee. A five-foot by 12-foot mosaic tile world map by artist Jun Blanco highlights the coffee belt where coffee is sourced from around the world." - Susan Stapleton

"Sambalatte recently opened a new elegant and spacious venue at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in downtown’s Symphony Park. The venue features a modern and sophisticated design by Novus Architecture, including a large curved marble counter and a wall covered with a tile, mosaic map representing the globe’s coffee resources. The location offers incredible outdoor seating, complimentary parking for 3 hours, and WiFi. It will also host afternoon high tea during the Center’s Broadway Series events and other high-profile performances, accompanied by live music." - Bradley Martin

Great little coffee café next to children's museum and Chamber of commerce. Had the Macha latte. Beautifully done. Good service and great atmosphere. Also a good place to get some out of office work done.

Nice little coffe shop next to children Discovery museum ... actually the only place to sit in this area for now. Nice atmosphere, great muffins, good tea, not many choices but still good place to relax and wait for .... whatever you wait! :) There is a lot of construction going on around so soon there will be more stuff around here! Parking still free and Tesla chargers available...

Pre- Broadway show stop. The coffee was delicious and they had a number of scruptous food options. Didn't try everything of course, but what we did was top notch.

Was excited to try this location. We were greeted by the employee and we ordered a Rainbow latte, a scone and a Carrot muffin. The muffin was hard and not very tasty. Most likely it had been sitting for a while. The latte art was very unoriginal which was fine. My main reason for my negative review is the muffin was either old or extremely over cooked and dry

My daughter and I went in for Cinnamon Spice Cocoas after the Grinch show at the SC. There was no crowd and we placed our order immediately. We realized we were over charged as we were waiting and once our order was called, we found out why. The girl that prepared the drinks (blue bangs and heavy arm tattoos) was very unprofessional. She made Caramel Pumpkin Lattes instead of what we ordered. We corrected her and she said she would make new drinks. I also told her that we were overcharged and would need to be reimbursed. She said if we wanted to wait until the line was gone, we could get our refund. By this time, there was a line of at least 12 people and more coming in as the show crowd was coming inside. I said she could just give us $2.00 when the register was opened next. She said, "Yes...or I could do that". The barista made the cocoa so spicy with an unrealistic amount of cayenne that neither of us could even drink it. I mentioned that the register would be opening on their next sale and could she get the money... she said "No, there needs to be a purchase". You should also be aware that the women's restroom had a sign on it saying out of order. My pregnant daughter had to use the men's room. It's an eating establishment... public restrooms should be operable for paying customers.... especially overpaying customers. It was never about making a simple mistake of getting the order wrong; it was how the barista handled the mistake and the refund. She had very poor customer service skills and obviously needs more training. If you owe your customer a refund, you give it to them right away.

Unfortunately understaffed right before the start of "Book of Mormon." Two of our orders were completely wrong when we got them (somehow a matcha tea turned into a green tea?) and the food and drinks were subpar. We arrived with 45 minutes before curtain—plenty of time, right? No. We waited in line upwards of 15 minutes and didn't get our orders squared away until 15 minutes later. I can't blame the two girls working there for the lag in service. They were working as quickly as they could with such an influx of customers. Hopefully next time we come here, if we ever do, if anything, there will be more people working behind the counter. Disappointed in the understaffing of such an anticipated coffee shop.
