Thanks for a delicious and quaint meal for my daughters. Your bulgogi and rice hit the spot for them and your ban chan and salad were nice for me to munch on as well. Everything was fresh. Restaurant was clean and quiet. Parking was easy. Prices and service were great.

Stopped here for lunch with my Korean co-workers. Space was small, with limited seating, but that was to be expected. Waitress, food prep, and overall efficiency of service was well above average!

This was our first time trying this place, and we were met with a warm welcome. The hospitality is so wonderful. While we were waiting for our food to be prepared, we were given a Yakult and a place to sit, while the amazing smell of the food filled the place. The owner and other workers were super polite and made great conversation. We were taught about the foods, and when we were finally able to eat, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was fresh and flavorful! We will definitely be returning. PS They are now under the name of YAMBOX ✨️

Came here for the first time last week and have already been back for more!! I’ve been looking for grab-and-go Korean food for a while and I struck gold with these guys. Excellent combination boxes made fresh to order, side dishes to go, drinks, and frozen goods. Not cheap per se, but very much worth it. The service is excellent, they’re always super friendly and are excited to have guests try new things. They’re in the middle of a rebrand so when you go looking for Samee, the shop is now called Yumbox!

In A Nutshell: -Samee sells Korean ban chan aka side dishes. -It's a little expensive but if you want to save all the hard work it takes to make each specialized side dish, then you will have to pay for the convenience. -They sell a wide variety of the most popular side dishes like several variations of kimchi, roots & onion. -They also sell kimbap which are Korean Seaweed Rice Rolls, they make really good snacks on the go. Overall, it's nice to have this option so you can pick & choose your favorite ban chan to pair w/ your next meal at home.

After finishing watching Netflix's Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I was wanting to try gimbap/kimbap so I went on Google to look for a local Korean restaurant & saw that this place had a takeout option. It is a quaint little place (so I wasn't too clear if there was a specified dining area), but we were greeted warmly & after placing our to-go order, the front area of the place has various banchan dishes & food that you can browse through while waiting for your order. I tried the beef bulgogi gimbap & tuna gimpap & they were both delicious as they were freshly made (I lean toward the tuna a little more). I will definitely be buying food from here again, so please check out this little Korean food venue 🤗

Came here on a Monday afternoon and they ran out of vegetable Kim bap. It was my first time here and they offered to make me a fresh roll. How nice. I picked up a lot of their readymade sides. I did not care for their seaweed salad. It was kinda fishy. Their prices are pretty decent. Service was fast and the place was clean. I'd def come back. Beats Greenland any day.

Stopped by to get some korean side dishes today. Got some 무말랭이 (spicy dehydrated radish (?)), 오징어채 무침 ( sweet spicy dried squid ) and even picked up some 열무김치 (young radish leaf kimchi. The banchans are fantastic, perfectly seasoned. They recently changed their store name and now have lunch boxes so I opted to get a spicy pork doshirak. So good! The pork had smoky spicy flavor and it came with like 5 side dishes which is absolutely a great bonus. Id order their potato salad on its own next time! The owners it seems, were very sweet and helpful. The place was very pristine and clean! Id be glad to go back for some quick lunch or picking up some other side dishes for home again!

First timer here. Came to pick up some banchan and came home and ate them right away. Tasty, fresh and authentic, they were delicious. Will be back to get the marinated crabs. Service was great, quick and friendly. Check out staff explained all the dishes and was very helpful. They also have a quick to order menu available as well. Will have to try another time. Ambiance is small and cozy. Only downside is I wish they had more side dishes!

Everything is so good! Kimchi and all veggies they have are delicious. The service is also really good and they're helpful when it comes to choices and recommendation. I usually get the kimchi, kimbop and the japchae. I've also tried the other pickled veggies they have and it's one of my favorite spots. The inside is clean and inviting.

New owners (husband & wife) are very friendly and banchan (Korean side dishes) are very tasty with a big portion. Banchan in K-Town (Greenland) are more pricy with smaller portion. Their lunch boxes (teriyaki salmon and sqiud stir-fry are my favorite) and kimbops are also very good. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone who are fans of Korean foods!

They've changed their name to "Yam Box" (not really sure why). With this name change, the food is still solid, they've apparently hired employees with bad attitudes. And have seemingly begun deceptive marketing. Walked in and saw a guy whom I hadn't seen before. I ordered some kimbap, and as the attached photo shows, the menu screen says that all items come with 4 side dishes. I asked what side dishes come with the kimbap, and he said that none of them do. I pointed to the screen and showed him where it says the side dishes are included with the items on the screen. He said that is only for the non-kimbap items. I pointed out that nothing on the screen says that, and if you go to a Korean restaurant, they would serve you side dishes with kimbap. He shrugged and said everyone knows that the side dishes are only included with the top row. I point out that I didn't know that and I was just going based off what the screen showed. He started getting loud and brashly said that it doesn't matter because he'll just tell people and that everybody knows. Guess I just don't know anything.

Wow, this place was great. The guy who was taking our order was really nice and the food was very flavorful. The restaurant itself was very small with only outdoor seating, which wasn't a problem for us. I'll definitely have to come back for their spicy squid bowl and kimbap!

I love Samee's Side Dishes! Everything always tastes so good! From the Kimbap, bean sprouts and potato salad! I love picking up the sides when we are going to have KBBQ at home. The staff is friendly and the store is always clean. They are a Must try!

Just a few words- Best Gimbap in Vegas. I love this little cute Korean restaurant. They have all the side dishes you can think of and main courses- bulgogi, bibimbap, salmon, etc. I pretty much had everything in their menu and never get disappointed. I do have one thing to improve- don't go cheap on meat. I didn't get enough last time but a few pieces. But that didn't matter until I was hungry a few minutes later. Lol. They cook your food right in front of you, so it's fresh! They have all the side dishes in the fridge. They have great chap chae(needs more meat too) and the pancakes. Tofu is good too! This place is a buy and go. No sit down to eat. Great for people like me during the day that's on the go. Staff is friendly. I think they recognize me by now. I'm there like every week for my gimbap! Hehe.

I get my gimpap fix here to go when I'm in a rush or in the area! I go with the classic aka original. The rice ratio is just right and this is a crucial component. The rice is just enough to line the roll but not too much that it fills you up too fast. The rolls are filled with so much goodness (carrots, egg, ham, spinach, yellow pickled radish). I feel so full and clean after eating gimpap! Whatever I pick, I feel like I'm getting Mom's home cooked meals here! They offer two fridges filled with premade options or you can order from their menu items like Bibimpap and Bulgogi. You can get your Korean food fix here. No matter what you're looking for!

Even though the store itself is super tiny, it's clean and inviting. Super friendly staff and they had a good variety of side dishes to choose from as well as meals. Highly recommend their bulgogi kimbap, radish & cucumber soy marinated banchan and their inari sushi topped with salmon sashimi pieces. All three were delicious and definitely reminded me of home in California. I can't wait to try other items in the store.

Let's just say.. I can't believe I've been walking by this place for literal years and have never gone in. I tried the tuna kimbap today and not only was it VERY good, the service was outstanding and genuine. The man who served me was the sweetest. I hope this shop stays around forever and opens more locations.

Stopped in to check out this spot as I was leaving other business in shopping plaza. Small, takeout spot with prompt service. Food was really good, but next time I'll look into asking for spicier banchan.

Picked up these lovelies for our New Year's Day rice cake and dumpling soup (dduk mandoo guk). $30 for 20 dumplings, which sounds kinda steep but each dumpling is filled to the gills with a meat & veggies mixture. So filled that 3 was enough for me and 4 for the husband. The surprising part was that there are jalapeño peppers in the mix, which I wasn't really a fan of (too spiiiicy for me) but the husband approved. I'll call in a special order for the next time to time to see if they can make an order sans the peppers. I also knew that the dumplings would be worth it, as is everything else I get from here. Yet to be disappointed by something. I consider Samee the Bristol Farms of banchan (So. Cal reference).

I saw this spot on yelp and just had to come check it out. This cute little Korean restaurant is located on Sahara and Rainbow with decent parking. This place isn't intended for dine in and more of a grab and go type. The interior was nice and clean. [Service] Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. The cashier was so kind and friendly. I think she could tell it was my first time there, and she gave me some good recommendations haha. After ordering my food it came out in no time at all! Excellent service. [Food] I decided to grab a beef rib bento box and two sides of fish cakes. The bento box came with the beef ribs, rice, and several banchan. The beef ribs were amazing. They were tender and bursting with flavor. All the sides were delicious but, my favorite aside from the fish cakes were the mashed potatoes. They were so good! I'd probably go back just for the mashed potatoes alone to be honest. I will definitely be back here and highly recommend this spot to anyone. They even have raw marinated crab which I don't see often. 4.5/5 Stars from me!

I LOVE this place. I frequent Las Vegas for work and was blessed to stumble upon this place. After visiting Korea last year, I missed the amazing delicious banchan (garlic shoots, radish, fishcake ... just all the things!) and kimbap. A very personable, thoughtful owner and delicious Korean food you can take to-go ... what more can you ask for?! I loved it so much you better believe I packed like 6 different side dishes and lugged it through TSA just to bring home! I definitely recommend you check this place out!

This place is so overrated. I saw it on tiktok for Korean banchan and decided to go. First of all, there wasn't a large selection like i thought there was going to be more. Also, if you were going there for the raw kimchee crab like me, keep in mind it's frozen. I like mom's refrigerator better. I got the soy garlic, kimchee cucumber, and fermented kimchee. The only good thing was the cucumber kimchee. The soy garlic tasted so disgusting.

The food was fresh and the quality and quantity of food you get for what you pay is amazing. The service is really nice and super friendly. It's a decent place for to go food and authentic food.

I've known about this place for probably 2-3 yrs now, my old review is somewhere in the reviews page with an old email. I wanted to give a new review because it's my first time trying it again, this time with the new name and I think new management?! I was only in the mood for fish cakes, bean sprouts and potato salad banchan. AND OMG the seasoninggggg! It's so goooood, so flavorful, we ate everything in one sitting. I wish I could've got more. Even my husband agrees!! The only thing I'll wish is for them to add apples in the potato salad just like how it was before. But other than that, I think this newly renovated place & great seasoning is even better than the last. The lobby is also more inviting now. I can't wait to come back for more

Everything I brought home was delish!! I love that I can just stop in and pick up a few dishes and bring it back to work.

This tiny little Korean grocery popped up a few months ago at Rainbow/Sahara. It's a small spot but they've got a lot! Majority of space is refrigerator cases with kimchi and banchan type dishes. They also have lunch specials for under $10 for bentos. I have been avoiding crowded grocery stores so this was a good place to stock up on kimchi- it's made in house, available in large boxes (~2lbs, $8) and huge bags (5lbs?, $25). I also grabbed their kimbap lunch, which was a huge portion I shared with my guy, and super fresh. I will probably be going back for both, as the location is so convenient. They have safety precautions in place, including signs encouraging visitors to place and pay for orders online and they will bring it out to your car. I pulled up and was the only customer, so I was told to go in and they have gloves and santizer available- you can point and they'll collect your items and ring up for you.

I can make my own banchan. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to make a full assortment of banchan and kimchi. This is why I come here. It's a time-saver and if I'm being honest, they can prepare it better than I ever could. Samee Side is an establishment for takeout only- no seating areas are available. There are 4 levels of packaged pre-made banchan in an open-display refrigerator. Made-to-order items are also available. My favorite items are seafood pancakes, japchae, stir-fried fish cake, sigeumchi namul (spinach), potato salad, cucumber salad, and pre-made bibimbap mix (an assortment of vegetables and a side of gochujang). Their kimbap variations are delicious - better than what you'd get at Greenland (Chinatown's Korean Supermarket). The employees here are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I've been coming here for years, and it's one of my favorite places to buy authentic Korean banchan to serve with my home-cooked meals.

The service here is so good, they really are sweet and are always busy stocking the store or making orders. I can't believe it took me so long to try this place out. I loved the kimbap here, for the price it's so nicely portioned and more generous with the fillings. My sister will rave about the bento boxes here! They are such a popular menu item and I can see why. It was so delicious and is really filling. The staff is amazing about being apologetic if cooking time takes too long, but we genuinely never mind. The store itself is more of a grab and go type so there's no seating, but it's okay! We live close by so driving back is never an issue with us. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu items!!

The convenience store of Korean food and dishes. This mini mart eatery has a variety of Korean comfort foods cooked and ready to go or cooked to order. Can't go wrong with a bibimbop as its great for lunch in a bowl. Full of flavor that's fresh and delicious with simple ingredients. This is the first place I've ordered a full serving of fish cakes and it went well to much on throughout the next two days. They carry many foods. Some interesting finds such as pre-made dumplings, cooked beans, and other side dishes. Also theres no seats so it's order and go. For its convenience it's definitely worth coming back to.

Visited Samee after reading reviews from other Yelpers. Very curious, wanted to try the food and other side dishes. So we visited Samee and ordered Bulgogi bowl, Spicy squid bowl, and Japchae. My kids love the Bulgogi bowl and my husband liked the spicy squid. The food have very good flavor. For the price we paid, it's a little pricey for the amount of meat and portion. Will I go back to Samee again? Probably, I will, since my Family enjoyed the food.

This place is for take out only. First time here, so I have to start with the beef ribs combo. It is so mouthwatering and comes with perfect amounts of side dishes. I also order veggie kimbap and cheese kimbap which are full of flavor. The lady said that I don't need sauce. It's already seasoned. Of course, I have to try the kimchi fried rice and just the right spice to it. I've tasted some before that I regretted ordering because of it's weird flavors. But here, it is heavenly. I'll be trying more of the dishes soon!

We stumbled upon this place looking for kimchi and so happy that we did! The ladies working there were so helpful as it was our first time here. They had all the different banchans. I didn't get to take pictures of all the ones we brought home. They also had a freezer with dumplings and such. We ordered 1 kimbap which was enough to feed both my husband and I. The cucumber kimchi was so yummy and crunchy, the potatoes were made how my husband likes and they were seasoned well, the Napa cabbage kimchi had a good kick. It was all so good. The japchae was freshly made so we grabbed one as they were putting them on the table. I'm so happy that we found this place. We have told all of our friends and family to get their banchans here as well as made to order Korean dishes too. Can't wait to explore the rest of their menu.

I'm a fan! Sometimes I wonder if I was Korean in another lifetime. Only because I find so much comfort in their food and lately, I've been obsessed with kdramas. My eyes hurt from all the subtitles Anyways, after living in Vegas for 4 years, we finally stopped by. The employee was so kind and patient. Like a naive girl, I went straight to the fridge that said 'ask for assistance' or the like and refused assistance, then proceeded to open the fridge. I'm cringing just looking back. Instead of getting yelled at or receiving any snarky comment, the employee kindly interacted with my son about jiu jitsu (he was wearing his gi) and pointed to the food available when I turned. Now for the food... The kimbap, was devoured!!! My kids asked for more for breakfast which we didn't have. The fishcakes and seaweed were also a winner for me. I didn't care much for the radish kimchi. The cuts were too big for my liking and slightly spicier than I'd prefer. But it packed all the needed probiotics which I wanted most. I can't wait to come back and buy more!

LOVED this place! It's very homey and the lovely staff member attending to the patrons was super sweet. Came in for banchan and walked out with SO much more. Their cucumber salad was out of control yummy & would highly recommend.

I'm so happy to find this shop! Cuz I love Korean food and here is so delicious seriously!! Especially the Gimbap is the best in my life!! All things i got for $100 stuffs can't eat because so so spicy - they use Jalapeños in every foods even though seaweeds pickles- and 2-3 days later start decomposed which their vegetables r not fresh and use jalapeños - don't understand I threw all the foods.

Samee Side Dishes is a amazing location. It is in Las Vegas, around Saraha/Rainbow. The team here is awesome! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going through the menu with you. The food was made fresh here! It's a small place, but the quality and quantity of the Korean food is great! If you haven't been here yet, you should check it out!

Decided to give this place a try after driving by for many months. My family loves Korean food and we are always on the lookout for a new place. Samee is takeout only. They have side dishes packaged and ready to go or they have combo plates and rice bowls for order. I I ordered the kimchi fried rice with fried egg and took home some side dishes. Everything was delicious. I will be back soon to take home short ribs, bulgogi and teriyaki chicken for the family. I only wish there were some non-spicy side dishes. I am the only one in my family who like spicy. My sons live fish cake but I can tell they will think the fish cake is too spicy even though it is considered "mild." Still I will be back. can't wait!

PERFECT KOREAN BENTO Got here just as they were opening this Tuesday morning. Place is practically all kitchen and open refrigerators for self service. Very polite Korean lady spoke to me in Korean. She also speaks English. She explained all the components we were getting in the bento as if we were new to the cuisine. Ordered a spicy pork bento for brunch. Plus three other side dishes. Ate the bento lunch @Greenland food court along with my chicken wings and boba. What a brunch ! The spicy pork was silk like tender and perfectly seasoned that totally delighted Yu-go. This $9.99 bento comes with white rice. Btw, the chili squid; vinegar vinaigrette seaweed salad and pickled chili cucumbers were awesome. Samee Side Dishes is too good to be true. For sure. I'll be back for more bentos and Korean side dishes.

If you like Banchan more than the entree, this is your jam. Several items were cooling on the counter as I entered, and gimbap was being assembled as I browsed through the two coolers. F-R-E-S-H and ready to go. All of the favorites are there--crab, cucumbers, fresh kimchee, fish cake..get some. Prepare to spend, we fed the four of us for $73, but it was worth it!

Mood- Hunger ( Covid19 Edition ) Upon entering we were quickly greeted with great customer service. This establishment is not intended for dine in, as there are a couple of cold cases with items for you to purchase for your favorite Korean cuisines. The lady quickly asked if we wanted to stay and eat, we said sure, she took a chair outside for us to sit at the table, that is designated for their patrons. We opted for the Pork Bulgogi Bento, and Beef Bulgogi Bento boxes. Everything was prepared wonderfully. I was especially surprised to see that one of the banchan was an apple potato salad. Everything is very Covid 19 evident and all appeared very clean. Staff was very courteous and hospitable even joking at my personal request for chopsticks - yes I usually use them BTW Would def recommend - pricing is fair for the portions & quality of food. Looking for some Korean "banchan" aka side dishes? Then look no further! Samee serves a wide variety of traditional Korean side dishes like salted squid, fried mushrooms, different kinds of kimchi, spicy gejang (soy marinated fresh raw crabs), bean sprouts and many more. They also offer kimbap (cheese gimbap and a side of salted squid is my personal fave) which is basically nori-wrapped steamed rice roll filled with veggies and your choice of protein. Their freshly made kimbap is delicious and if you feel like venturing, they also have some lunch special combos like marinated short ribs, bibimbap and bulogi over rice. Samee is a nice Korean food spot located outside the Vegas Strip on Rainbow and Sahara.

Came here during covid. Everyone wears a mask and this place is super clean. The people are super friendly here. The food is delicious. This is a Togo only place! You want extra side dishes they sell those too here. The meals are tasty . Love the spicy pork bento.

I was skeptical at first due to the 5 star reviews. My daughter was hungry for Korean so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered quite a bit for 5. 1. beef bulgogi plate 2. chicken teriyaki plate 3. pork bulgogi plate 4. spicy squid plate(did not see on menu but saw others order on yelp review). 5. kimbap x2 6. japchae 7. seasoned shrimp side dish 8. Acorn jelly side dish 9. mushroom side dish Overall everything tasted authentic for Korean food. The kimbap is very tasty, more ingredients less rice. Much better than Greenland kimbap. Spicy squid not spicy, lol. I did not receive the japchae, so no comment(probably due to the large order). Shrimp, mushroom, and acorn jelly was fresh and good. It is better to call in your order because you will wait outside while they prepare your food.

take out only but love their kimbap and fish cake to go. everything fresh and so yummy but pick up only. they have ladies constantly rolling the kimbap right in front of you and it's a good place to pick up banchan (small Korean side dishes) very inexpensive for my favorite pick-up-and-go snack (that you can even eat in the car)
