Sammi & Soup Dumpling CDN

Very good place for dumplings. We had both fried and steamed. Pork and cabbage and pork with shrimp scallops. If you’re around, go and the prices are respectable. Also they sale beer and wine. Cheers

The soup dumplings were delicious. However, the service could have been better. They served our chopsticks 5 minutes after we had the dumplings. And we still had to ask them several times for the chopsticks. The dumplings got cold and the soup leaked. The dishes weren’t done clean as well. I would recommend going to another branch.

I had amazing experience here, amazing food and great service, good thing is how easy it is to find parkings at this branch and of course amazing dumplings. We ordered 5 type at least. And they can mix with half and half although it does not say in the menu card but they can do half and half of 2 kind of you ask. Fast and great service.

I recently visited Sammi & Soup Dumplin and overall, I found the experience to be average. The food was okay, but it didn't stand out or leave a lasting impression. The dumplings were decent, the service was satisfactory, and the ambiance was pleasant. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, but it might be worth a try if you're in the area.

Highly recommended their xiao long bao (soup dumplings)! We went there in the afternoon; it’s not crowded and the service was nice.

Went 10min after opening, there was maybe 10 clients already sitting. Grabbed food for take out. I had to wait about 45min for 15 dumplings and half of them were burnt. Not great. :/ I live downtown and it usually take no more than 20min at dinner time for a take out at my preferred dumpling restaurant. I was just very disappointed for 18$ and 45min wait time :/ that indian dude really burnt the hell out of them dumplings lol had a tasty carbon flavor 🤢

Editing my old 5 star review because they've increased the prices and reduced the filling in the dumplings. You get much more of the dough than anything. Really sad about this. 💔💔 Consistently great food. The quality is top notch and is made fresh to order. The place is always clean and the ambience is inviting. The prices are decent for the quantity. My only critique would be that sometimes my soup dumplings get stuck to the paper at the bottom and the soup from the dumpling escapes. Maybe oiling the paper might prevent that from happening? Anyway, all the pork dumplings are delicious!

First time I ordered, all three I orders had the wrong filing. Second time, all three orders were uncooked… the dough was raw. Safe to say I won’t be eating there again. Highly suggest you double check your food before biting into it (especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions) or better yet, stick to the downtown branch.
