Breakfast is always delicious! Chef walks around and checks tables to see how food is, which is awesome because you can tell he cares. My husband had the smoked salmon Benny and I had the cinnamon bun French toast.. both out of this world!!! Annnnddd the waitress was amazing with our 2 year old! She brought multiple forks after he dropped them on the floor and his food came out right away.

A business associate and I sort of stumbled upon Sammy’s because some other places in the area were closed on Monday, unbeknownst to us. Well it was our God fortune that the other guys were closed! We had a terrific breakfast and what a menu! he had classic egg’s Benedict and I had coffee braised brisket hash. The good was great and the portions were generous. Sammy’s Bullfrog Cafe is worth a stop in.

Great Fries, Regret Everything Else at Sammy Bullfrog’s Cafe Stopped by Sammy Bullfrog’s Cafe hoping for a cozy, tasty meal… and ended up with a story I’ll be telling my stomach for days. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries (the fries were the MVP crispy, golden, and delicious). But from there, it was all downhill. The cream chipped beef was lukewarm, the Egg Cornelius came with tomatoes even though we asked for no tomatoes, and the turkey sausage links? They tasted like someone found them at the back of a freezer during a blizzard. Oh and the silverware was dirty. Like, “is this decorative or used?” dirty. To top it all off, I’ve been sick since eating there. Not exactly the kind of “souvenir” I was hoping to leave with. Between the questionable food temps, frostbitten sausage, and an upset stomach, I think this was my first and last visit. The fries deserve better company.

First time and tasty at that! Friend suggested this spot for breakfast. Unique Louisiana takes on breakfast and lunch items. Gets crowded on the weekends, so plan for time.

Cool, Kitschy down home Pennsylvania diner experience, lines can be long at peak hours, get there early or come late, Food is fresh, delicious, coffee excellent, service expedient, friendly, periodic menu refresh offers Nice change ups to breakfast standards. Some items can be a little greasy, typical diner if your stomach is sensitive. if you’re in the area one of the better breakfast spots I’ve encountered around these parts. We were not rushed out of the place, and we were offered coffee to go as well. A rare spot in modern times when a restaurant that makes fresh food instead of reheating frozen food in the back room is a rarity. nothing like a small business where the owner actually cares about the product he serves highly recommend

We had a fantastic brunch experience today at Sammy’s. The wait was reasonable and the food came seemingly right after we ordered it. I loved the Brussel Sprout Hash. Completely unique and tasty! Highly recommended! Service was also superb. The menu is extensive with lots of unique dishes and their specials add great variety on top of that!

We drove 20 miles to try this place based solely on the reviews; it did not disappoint. We are planning another visit to try out the lunch menu next. Update. Second visit was just as good as the first. Servers are all friendly. Added to the list of our regular places to visit.

The dining area is quite small, but cozy. The staff is always very friendly, and the owner comes to check in with every meal. The food is delicious and some really unique flavor combinations! I like to check out what's on the daily specials because there's always something fun to try.

This is more of a 3.5. I've been hearing about Sammy's for quick some time, so I decided to stop in today for brunch. It was packed in there, but we were able to get 2 seats at the bar right away. The atmosphere is cozy, eclectic and no frills - think hole in the wall. The menu contrasts that nicely. The staff all seemed friendly, helpful and good at what they're there to do. We got the Dutchman Omelette and the Wilford Brimley. The portions are large and the food was good. The potatoes were crispy but under seasoned. I may return to try one of their specials.

A cute restaurant decorated adorably with coffee mugs lining the store. The breakfast and lunch options are delicious. The staff are fast and very helpful. Once I had there chicken salad on a cranberry roll and it was delicious

Another great Sunday brunch at Sammy's! The kids each got a kombucha this time. Yummy! We got two different toasts, pretty much our standard order. My fiancée got a Benedict from the special menu for the weekend, with all the meats, and one of the kids got the mixed breakfast with French toast eggs and Canadian bacon. The toughest part of going to Sammy's is deciding between your standard favorite order that you know is always amazing, and trying something different or trying the special menu, which you also know is going to be amazing! lol

Always enjoyable experience at Sammy's! The food is always great and the atmosphere is bustling, but never too much so that you are forgotten! I would advise getting there early for breakfast as the lines can get pretty crazy! It is a first come first served place. The Kombucha I believe is made locally. And the chef has such imagination when putting the menu together!

This my first exploration of Harleysville , PA, brought me to Sammy's Bullfrog Cafe, the anchor tenant in a small commercial strip. The place was jumping on this Sunday morning, with buzzers handed out to customers to await a vacant table or stool at the counter. A solitary traveler, I was lucky to grab a spot quickly and belly up to the rear bar with high stool to rest my bottom. Staff was friendly and efficient, pouring my coffee in one of their hundreds of old mugs and taking my breakfast order for the Sweet Maple Omelette (Maple Sausage, Sweet Potato, Bell Pepper, Fried Onion, Vermont White Cheddar, Maple Bacon Jam, Red Bliss Home Fries, Wheat Toast). It was placed before me 5 minutes later. Great meal! All the ingredients were fresh and likely at a nearby farmers market earlier that morning. All the flavors were recognizable and harmonized well. Yet, the mild sweetness suggested the need for a little offsetting heat. I asked for hot sauce, and was asked by the lovely server whether I preferred their homemade scovils or small commercial bottles? How would I know, but why not go for the gusto and try their own creation?! It arrived deep red in its own long narrow glass cylinder. It was excellent and was the perfect complement to the egg platter. Definitely added what my tastebuds needed. Beyond that, the Red Bliss Home Fries had great texture, softness with modest crunch and wonderful flavor. With strong Bunn drip coffee, good toast and a generous spooning of the Maple Jam Bacon atop the omelette, this was a superior fantastic morning meal. On the shortlist of best breakfasts of 2024!

Food is imaginative, fresh and delicious. I want to try half the menu, settled on a wonderful salad with fruit and fried goat cheese balls. Service is great. WILL BE BACK!

Sammy's Bullfrog delivers. There are many food options in Souderton. Sammy's Bullfrog offers a taste so good. I had been after the Scrapple specifically, with notable meat processing plants around. How good could it taste? The pancakes were buttery, fall-apart, cakes absolutely able to sustain the amount of syrup or preserves you'd like. The eggs were done well, scrambled, and well-seasoned. The scrapple was large, crisp on the outside and heavenly and sturdy,but smooth and meaty on the inside. I could not finish the scrapple. It was too good and rich. The service at Sammy's Bullfrog is intuitive, diligent, and social. The atmosphere is delightful either for quet contemplating or boisterous talk or laughter. They also provide sufficient outdoor seating. Sammy's Billfrogs prices are good enough and reasonable. It is a gem

Absolutely incredible experience. From the servers to the menu to the food. Very unique menu and one that makes you really think long and hard as to which you want to try because everyone looks so amazing. The food came out super fast, large portions and the quality and flavor was to die for. It's a 15 min drive for us but worth it! This will go on our rotation for sure. Well team and well done chef.

This place menu is normal food. But the way they use the same flavor profiles. But use unique ingredients is masterful. Different specials everyday. This place is a gem.

Been here dozens of times. Never had a bad meal. Great and quick service. I usually get the super food breakfast toast with an egg. Table, booth or counter. All seating is great.

I'm not usually a breakfast person, but this was a 10/10 breakfast! I got the biscuits and gravy - which had kielbasa gravy instead of normal sausage. I was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the services! Will definitely be back!!

This is my favorite brunch place! I try to stop by here and there, whenever I feel like having the comfort of brunch (and if I am awake early enough, haha). I haven't had anything from the menu that I didn't like. The specials are good too, and fun to try, and pretty creative. They change it up after a while, but if not up for the specials, the classics are always great. The sweets breakfast options, savory options, and homemade kombucha have all satisfied me. The portions are pretty hearty also! Sammy's Bullfrog Cafe has that cozy, hometown vibe that just makes you feel at ease the moment you step inside. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, sip your coffee, and truly enjoy the company of your friends and family. The walls are adorned with funky frog themed decor, which adds a touch of uniqueness. All the mugs are special also. You can even spot a few friendly bullfrog statues.

I went here for the first time the other day and although I didn't have much of an appetite it was really good ! The building is in a strip mall and there is ample parking just be sure not to park in one of the salons designated spots. The restaurant is fairly large and jam packed with tables. We got one of the last tables by the window. Luckily we didn't have to wait. We ordered and I ordered the standard and the waitress told us it would be right out. She was not kidding. I went to use the restroom and came out and the food was already there. I have never had food delivered to me faster than at this restaurant. Everything was cooked really well the eggs were super flavorful, the potatoes had a nice crisp and the bacon was great too! It came with your choice of toast as well. Like I said I didn't have an appetite, so I only picked at my food but it was so good and I'd love to go back!

We enjoyed brunch on a busy Sunday with friends, good use of tech for wait list let us know by text when our table was ready, but a small foyer forced us to wait in our car. Menu is very creative with excellent options. Everyone raved about their meals, tasty and good portion sizes. Their coffee blend is delicious.

What a delightful surprise. I was in the area looking for a quick bite during busy breakfast/brunch rush. There was a bit of a wait but we got lucky band found seats at the counter. Loads of specials and menu items. I had the sweet potato skillet loaded with eggs, potatoes, onions, cheese and eggs. The portions are huge. It was delicious. My partner had brisket Benedict. It too was delicious. The service is extremely fast and friendly. I can't wait to come back.

After a previous 3 star review I had to go back and give a 4. The food is quality and the menu is well thought out. There's nothing like it in the area. The place is packed but well run, like a machine. Try the eggs Benedict or one of their breakfast bowls.

Great little spot with fun decor and friendly staff and delicious eats. No reservations and heavy weekend and holiday traffic means you gotta buy into the wait or indulge on a weekday morning, as reservations aren't a thing the business needs to bother working with!

we are two youngins who crush cigs and eat food, this was a good one. We split the cajun omelette and the blueberry banana bread french toast special with raspberry topping. E - Both meals were incredible. Perfect combination of sweet and savory. Neither was too heavy or too much. I'd give a thousand stars if i could. The server was wonderful as well.. and shoutout Chef. 1000/5 A - walking in, the first thing i noticed was that the place embodied the cozy atmosphere of a lovely little breakfast spot. we could barely get into a conversation and the food was brought out to us! incredibly quick service! the first bite i took was of the cajun omelet and was immediately blown away. the flavor profile of the meats and cheese were perfectly seasoned and wonderfully satisfying. i was a bit worried at first the the french toast would be too decadent but i was wrong! it was just sweet enough but not overwhelming. a perfect breakfast!!!!!! our server was an absolute sweetheart. overall a beautiful experience. 100000/5 stars! highly recommended.

Loved this cafe with its eclectic style and unique food offerings. The decor is welcoming and makes you feel like you are right at home. Service was excellent with friendly staff who offer ordering recommendations and indicate customer favorites. The cafe was busy during my visit so I was surprised that I did not need to wait long for my food. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was served with fresh fruit. The burrito was filled with tender pork, potatoes, scrambled egg, guacamole, and salsa. The burrito was packed with food, no shortage of filling. There were a few other unique items on the menu like poppy seed pound cake french toast and cinnamon bun pancakes which sound like they would be good eats. I overheard a server mention the breakfast croquettes which were a customer favorite. All sound like good options for my next visit...and there will be a next visit.

Umm hello breakfast craving of my lifetime! Me husband and myself spent many of his days off eating breakfast with you lovely people while our daughter was in school. Completely delicious!! That fried chicken sandwich haunts my dreams with the homemade ranch dressing!! You guys are crazy.

It pains me to give a 3-star review, because I have given a 5-star review in the past. This review is solely based on my last three experiences. Food: (2/5) I am not sure if there is a new cook in the kitchen, but their benedict's are lacking in flavor and presentation. I always get a benedict for breakfast, and the taste and quality has gone down. The beer braised corn beef benedict has been one of my favorite's. The last two times I ordered this benedict, I was very disappointed. The first time the amount of corn beef that was given was a lot less and it was dry. The second time, it was not shredded and flavorful but served as one single piece. It did not have the same beer braised flavor and taste. I gave Sammy's a third try with their benedict's, and got the beef brisket. The beef brisket was dry, flavorless, toast was soggy, and onion rings was undercooked and oily. The presentation of their food, which used to be beautiful, also was very lacking. The micro greens was long stalks of green laid awkwardly on top of my beef brisket benedict. The eggs were small and needed more Hollandaise sauce. My last gripe is their coffee. Used to be a strong cup of coffee, but on my last visit it was watered down. My accompany diners usually get the omelettes/breakfast croquettes and had no complaints on their end. They agreed about the coffee being watered down. I have recommended Sammy's to so many people, and I hope they do not lose sight of delivering quality, delicious, and generous breakfast dishes. Environment (5/5): I think the atmosphere and servers are still great. The front desk workers try their best to sit everyone quickly, and the servers are warm and friendly.

This place is amazing! Stopped in for lunch and we loved it. The BLT was delicious, fresh tomatoes and perfectly cooked bacon. The hand cut fries were seasoned to perfection. The Italian Benedict was three meals in one and the flavor was out of this world! The service was exceptional, quick and friendly. Pricing was reasonable for the great service, food and ambiance. Will definitely be stopping by again soon.

We were fairly regular here before COVID but avoided because tables are close together but we went back on Saturday and boy did we miss it! Service was prompt and friendly. Coffee was good but the coupe de grace was the Cinnamon Bun French Toast! Heaping serving of French Toast made from brioche bread top with cinnamon sauce and cream icing. YUM YUM YUM! My wife had the special Stuffed French Toast which also delicious! Our favorite place for sure!

We discovered this hole-in-the-wall diner in 2020. Three years and several breakfasts later I can honestly say it's our favorite morning go-to. The food is hot, fresh, creative, and very tasty. The service is friendly responsive. Ambiance is small town, come-as-you-are comfortable. Great place to kick off, mid-week booster, or end your week.

The chicken and waffles were amazing! This is my second review of this cafe. The first time my food portions were large, service was great but the food lacked seasoning in my opinion. This time, I went with my mom on a Sunday. The service again was impeccable. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. We didn't make reservations so easily found seating at the bar. The establishment is small, quaint and crowded but not overwhelming. Our food came out fast and hot. The chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The eggs were soft but cooked thoroughly, I added cheddar cheese. The waffle was so soft, buttery and delicious. Perfect meal!

Stopped in here for a quick brunch while passing by and glad we did. It's hard to find solid brunch food, but this place does it well, especially if you want the staples but slightly elevated. Honestly my favorite thing was the coffee, which is a line of beans made specially for the restaurant, such a great cup. As for the food, we went for the veggie omelette and the breakfast burrito. For the omelette, I never thought pesto would go with eggs but it does it so well. Feta wouldn't have been my first choice for cheese but it works, there's a lot of it but it works. and the sweet potato latkes hit the spot, somehow not oily at all but light and crisp. The burrito wasn't my favorite, mostly because the mayo completely dominated every bite, but the tortilla was cold and the interior components weren't distributed well throughout the burrito, so each bite was unbalanced. Definitely don't miss the veggie omelette though!

What a fun place - tucked away in a strip center. Busy, busy which is a good sign especially mid-week but we never felt rushed. The wait staff were friendly and patient as I asked many questions. Plus they kept the coffee coming. We had originally gone there for lunch, but there were so many yummy, interesting breakfast choices that we opted for breakfast. I had the pumpkin pancakes with a huge dollop of maple butter on top. It was a generous serving, but I managed to eat all of it because it was so delicious. I added a side of bacon. This is the first place I've been where you can have a half order - that's all I needed. Yeah, atmosphere is cozy with tables, booths, and a counter so you have choices. Plenty of parking in front and back. Check it out.

My wife and I eat here every couple of weeks and absolutely love it. We consider it the best breakfast restaurant we go to anywhere, and we have been all over. Service is great, food is excellent, and we always have leftovers for take home.

Food is great and service is fast. It is not your typical pancake and egg dinner. It has several vegetarian options and unique offerings.

It can be busy and there can be a wait, but the service is decent and they have a good variety of options to choose from.

For being a breakfast and lunch spot, the menu was extremely overpriced for what it is. No BYO omlette, and cheapest option for a sandwich was the chicken sandwich, which had a big piece of uncrisp lettuce on top that was 3x the size of the miniscule sandwich. Overall, a $13 sandwich that should have been $5. Only positive was the limp shoestring fries that were okay, which is why I give it 2 stars. Don't plan on coming back anytime soon and isn't the local diner you'd expect.

We were on the way to the airport and found this place on Yelp! The space was as warm and welcoming as the staff! Meal options were far from the normal diner breakfast, but inviting in their own way. After pondering all of the different and unique options, I decided on the daily special - the Italian Omelette, and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant!
