Samosa House El Segundo

One of the best vegetarian India Food options in South bay. Conveniently located in nice shopping complex. Variety of food options to choose from, simple & humble flavors. However not all of the items are fresh and its just a shame when it becomes apparent that the food isn't fresh and crisp and you would expect it to be.

We drive up to Culver City a lot for the ones there and love them. So happy to see one close to home. Went to the new El Segundo one last night to try it out and very happy to find that the food was awesome!!! They had my favorites green Jackfruit curry and smoked cauliflower curry. So good! We will be going here often.

Really awesome place! The people working there are always so nice and helpful. It is also a great deal. I always get he combination plate which comes with 3 dishes, white rice, raita, and garlic naan. (12$) I usually get their curries (with dairy). They usually have 3 options of curry and 8 other veg dishes. I do like their fake chicken and paneer. Although vegan and no meat it is still tasty and a great price. (Sometimes I do miss the meat options though!)

It was visiting on work and this place was staring at me and I couldn’t distract myself. Though I had eaten my lunch I decided to visit to try something Indian to eat. I settled for pani puri with no expectations whatsoever. For my surprise it was good :) . Not anything like what we get in India but this was equally good. It was super spicy that I was in tears and my sinuses opened up 😂. But I loved it. The poori was crispy and the filling was yummy and the Paani was spicy.

Why create trash by serving “for-here” patrons with plastics utensils and paper plates? I requested thrice to give real silverware, still did not get it. It’s time for restaurants to take some ownership and leadership about the unnecessary waste they create.

Was invited by the sister of the owner, and have to say, I'm impressed. More so by the taste and flavor of the dishes. Every bite was delicious. Not your typical Indian restaurant. It is vegetarian, but you might not even tell. They have dishes that replicate meat, and they are really good. I'll be back for more! Well, I went back for more, and that will probably be it for a while.

No.1 place for Samosa chat and Pav bhaji :) both are too good and ambience is cool.
