Sampa's Pizza Cafe - Santa Monica

I can say with 100% confidence this is the best pizza in the Santa Monica area! They have an amazing selection of both Italian and Brazilian pizzas, with toppings that are super tasty and creative, not your standard cheese and pepperoni. The service is quick, the space is bright and welcoming with plenty of seating, and the staff are really friendly. And most importantly, the pizza is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Saw this place pop up in Santa Monica and was super excited to try it out. Came in yesterday for their deal and Was pretty disappointed, to be honest. The biggest thing was the lack of customer service. When I was served, I wasn’t given a water and when I asked for ice water, she fills up a glass with plain water, and then gives it to me with a whatever attitude. I looked at another table before I left and another customer had a whole pitcher of water. I was never offered that pitcher, nor even any water to begin with! I’ve eaten at soooo many restaurants in the city and never once have I had to get up and ask for my own water. Also, the pizza was mediocre at best! Super Dry, Luke warm, and Lacking in any real type of flavor. Maybe if the waitress had a better attitude, it would’ve made the experience better, but for what it’s worth I would definitely recommend going somewhere else. So glad I didn’t pay full price for their pizza because I would’ve been pissed!

Absolutely electric casual pizza spot much needed in the neighborhood. I've had slices (they can make fresh slices or any of their pizzas), whole pizzas, and salads and it is really darn good. Love the dough flavor and resulting light crisp crust; and the toppings are all really fresh and original. Sooo much flavor. Whatever cheese they use is addicting. It's cool that they have both Brazilian and traditional American style pizzas so when you do slices you can try something you've never (at least I've never) had before! All of the staff and owners are the nicest people and it feels really welcoming and relaxed inside. I love the Brazilian music playing and looking forward to trying all of their sides soon. New happy hour of 2 for 1 beers and $10 10 inch pizzas from 3 to 6 daily is a damn good deal. I’ll be a frequent visitor. Now show this spot some love neighborhood!!!

I just ordered pizza at Sampa's and it was like eating pizza back in Brazil! Very well done pizza, Brazilian style, São Paulo's style, just the best! I'll definitely order from Sampa's again and I recommend it! Thanks for taking me back to my hometown for a few minutes!

I was craving pizza but only wanted 2 slices for myself. I found this place and was immediately warmly welcomed. I ordered a side salad and my two slices (Meat lovers and BBQ Chicken) Although, it wasn’t baked-to-order, they heated it up and it still tasted like fresh out of the pizza oven. I asked for recommendations for dessert because they looked heavenly on the display so I had to at least try one. He recommended the banana with dolce de leche and omg it was so decadent that I wanted to share it with my family so I ordered more to go. The combination was something I’ve never tried before and we enjoy banana desserts. It’s definitely very sweet!!! I’m so glad I stopped by here for pizza. If you want excellent pizza, nice customer service, and a dessert to finish it all off, this is your pizza joint!!

Nice pizza place. Very clean inside, good Brazilian neutral music that dont distract from eating or having a conversation. I got 2 slices - supreme and Joe Rogan's one with pineapple and anchovy lol. Both had a good taste and crispy crust. The service was great and the lady at the counter was friendly. I wish this business prosperity in this hard times. Give this place a try - its worth it 👍

We checked it out because it was the old Dagwoods. Pizza with a Brazilian twist. It was very good. The teens loved the cheese pizza, and I liked the Mushroom pizza and my chopped salad.
