I do not enjoy writing negative reviews, and usually they are based on problematic customer service and other things that are not rectified. I hate coming here, and the only reason I do is for a stupid prescription that I have to take for a long term health issue. So the pharmacy is closed 1:30-2:30 PM so if you are trying to run errands then plan accordingly. I was there 1 min late, I did not know about the policy, and the woman was still helping a man, she refused to get me my script even though I told her it was ready and in the bags they have them in. I also told her I was not aware of the closure. One min, and she was still helping someone, and she was firm. If I were in her position I would have made an exception that one time- honey behind the counter- imagine if that was you! I guess you would rather deal with me later today with a bad attitude. I only had my script transferred here because my insurance changed, and I could no lounger get it filled at Walgreen's. Not that that was by any means perfect, but they always went that extra mile, even if it was a longer wait. The only bad experience I had there was with a temp when my insurance changed, and another staff jumped in and fixed that.
The place is a nightmare parking in, and you have to wait for oblivious shoppers going crosswise through the traffic lane, without regard for traffic. I am big on yielding to pedestrians and bikes and other cars, but we should all be contentious commuters. It should be stop let the people ready go. Then maybe I pedestrian waits for you to pass, in between the 5 stop signs, and cross walks they have. I did not have a car for 5 years in College so I try to not be a dick as a walker. I probably would have made it to the counter in time, but I stopped and yielded, then in between the stop signs several other shoppers in their consumer bubble decided to just run walk diagonally in the area between the stop signs.
I had a complimentary 1 month membership a while back, and we strolled through a couple times and did not buy anything. The prices for bulk are only sometimes a good deal, honestly the sales at King Sooper per volume are usually a better deal, I guess most Americans have a hard time with math. My parents used to have a Sam's membership, but they discontinued it because it really is not much of a bargain.
I have been in hospitality and customer service for over 10 years, and working here would be a personal hell to me, so no wonder your staff is dispassionate. Whatever your feelings on customer service- the key, is to maintain flexibly and try to be a good sport, and treat others how you would appreciate being treated, and yes sometimes we get our buttons pushed or bend the rules, but find another gig, or take a vacation if you cannot remain flexible.
