San Francisco’s 32-Year-Old One Market Restaurant Is Headed Into Retirement | Eater SF

"The owner, Emad ElShawa, of a Broadway burger hotspot recently doubled his empire with a second location in 2024; he now plans to flip that adjoining space into a Dubai- and Kuwait-inspired sweets cafe. SFGATE reports diners can expect croffles, a Dubai chocolate cup, stuffed croissants, and ice cream when the new sweets cafe debuts in June." - Paolo Bicchieri

Went late in the morning. The store was moderately busy but not crazy. Everything was fully stocked, and the sample carts were out in full force. I love the convenience of the Scan and Go app. It is so much quicker to pay and get out of the store.

Living just a few blocks away from the Sam's Club at 505 S. Broadway in Denver, I couldn’t ask for a more convenient shopping destination. The store offers an extensive selection of products, from fresh produce and quality meats to electronics and home goods, all at great prices. The intuitive layout and clean, organized aisles make shopping here a breeze. My customer service experience across the board has been great—staff members are consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. What truly stands out is the exceptional pharmacy staff. They are knowledgeable and always go out of their way to provide outstanding service, making prescriptions quick and stress-free. Becoming a Plus Member and securing a Sam’s Club credit card has been an added bonus, with cash back rewards of 3% to 5% on purchases, making shopping even more rewarding. With great service, competitive prices, and impressive perks, this Sam’s Club has easily become a staple in my routine. P. S. - Shout-out to whoever runs this store's playlist - was not expecting 80's deep-cuts.

I frequent this Sam’s Club at least monthly, but I won’t be shopping here anymore after today’s experience. I bought what I thought was 10x$5 Starbucks gift cards that I needed for an event tonight. After paying, I promptly told the cashier that I was expecting 10x$5 gift cards and she told I bought a single $50 gift card and to go to member services to exchange it. Three employees, including the manager, Tanner, told me their store policy is to not refund gift cards. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life and understand policies and their importance. The card was placed on the rack where the $5 gift cards should have been. Evidently they were out of those and don’t have the gift cards I need. Common sense and the most basic level of customer service would say let’s figure out how to make this right for the customer. I don’t need a single $50 Starbucks card. Nope, instead “I’m sorry there’s nothing I can do about it. Our store policy is to not refund gift cards.” Sam’s Club, you might as well replace your managers with robots too, you clearly train them to act like them.

Ordered a box of cheese pizza from the food court. Told the wait time would be 10 to 15 minutes. So I browsed around the store to kill time and sooner or later the pizza was ready and we got it. Was incredibly hungry so got a slice from the box and wasn't paying attention to inspecting the food before eating as I would normally do. My mom bit into her pizza and noticed a thick strand of black straight hair. I opened the box and saw the rest of the pizza was contaminated with hair. How repulsive. It's the fact no one noticed the hair on an uncooked pizza before going into the oven. Which makes it seem as if this was done on purpose. If you do decide to come to this Sam's Club avoid getting the pizza or if you do get the pizza, eat at your own risk. The cooks seem to be tampering with the food. You can't truly see the long strand of hair in the pic because the cheese seems to take away from it, but that is a long strand of black straight hair found and cooked in the pizza.

Yesterday at was in a rush because my daughter she was getting baptized, I went to purchase few items and like I mentioned at was in such a hurry that I forgot my little wallet in the shopping car outside. When I find out I didn’t have it with me anymore it was after a few hours after but I will always trust in the will our Heavenly Father I didn’t know who found it but I want to share the honesty of this human being & the huge impact this person did in me because sometimes I feel like people are losing their empathy love good values in this world, this person gave me back my needs of believing in the good in humanity. I want to say a huge THANK YOU TO THIS PERSON AS WELL TO THAT EMPLOYEEs WHO RECIVE IT AT SAMS CLUB thanks for returning it back to me. God bless you all 🙏🫂🫶

UPDATE: 02/20/2025 I barely received a voice message this evening from the red haired pharmacy tech in a monotone voice that my pet's medication is finally ready for pick up. I was told that it would have been re ready on Monday 02/17/2025 in the afternoon since I was miss informed on voice mail message information the first time. Good thing I did not go on Monday to pick it up because they would have not have had it ready. I had my husband take a prescription to the sams club pharmacy last week and some red haired lady helped him and never said when the prescription would be ready. I got a voice message that i still have saved from Sams club pharmacy a few days ago saying that my prescription was ready and that it would be put back on the shelf the night of Thursday Feb 13th. I went tonight to pick up the prescription to be told by the pharmacy that it actually got put back last night Feb 12th and that I will have to wait until this coming Monday after noon to pick it up. The red haired lady started yelling at me saying that she did let me know the time of drop off I was not the one that dropped it off and all she told my husband that they had it in stock that is not giving a day or time the prescription would be ready. This is no way to treat customers maybe that is why I was the only one waiting in line because they don't know how to treat customers. Now I am being told by the pharmacy that i have to wait until this coming Monday to pick of the prescription i am not understanding why they are being so difficult when they have it there? Hopefully the have my prescription ready on Monday like I was told this time and I am not rushing out of work wasting gas to get over there for nothing.

Yelp
Having a couple working handclapped carts is inexcusable! The entrance person says "they get stolen" . Costco in a less desirable neighborhood about a half mile to the West always has a minimum of 10 carts available at any given time. The difference is that Costco truly values their members - even handclapped ones, Sam's considers them as a means to an end. I point the finger at the GM.

Judy P.

Yelp
So glad to see BEEF bacon at Sam's in Springfield, Mo! Great to have bacon and eggs breakfast again! Good job !
google avatar

Heywood M.

Yelp
It's gotten better. A lot better. They've obviously changed GMs in the past year. It's cleaner more organized and fast in and out. Still miss the Tire and Battery Center. And the fact that they're open most days is great (I find it hilarious that grown adults like the previous reviewer Dee B. thinks they close on Christmas and Easter to honor her imaginary, invisible skyfairy/superbeing "god". Wonder what she thinks about them closing on New Years? ). Anyway: the scan and go is fast, the cafe is clean and there's always lots of carts.
google avatar

Yelp
Quick & easy visit. Sam's and Costco both offer a wide range of consumer and business products at a discount. Most consumer items are in larger sizes than available at grocery stores or office supply places. I got PreserVision AREDS2 eye vitamins bottle of 210 softgels (2/day) for $ 37.98 and Binax Now home Covid19 test kits (4 tests) for $ 17.88 each. The AREDS2 at the grocery is higher priced and the home test kits at King Soopers have expired despite their low price.

Yelp
It is truly a great experience to shop mega size Packages of anything from asparagus to t shirts and always buy way more then you need. I think for the moment that I won't run out of lemons until 2026....this Sam's club is always clean and have friendly staff. However my review is mainly going to be about their restaurant after you check out. After spending all the money on stuff that I will probably not need and spent 150% more then I expected I get solace in the fact that I can get a huge slice of pizza and a soda for $2.50...I mean nowadays where else can you get that deal?? It feels like everything has just gotten so expensive except for Sam's club restaurant!! The food is not the highest quality but it most certainly does the trick and beats most fast food restaurants in price and quality. GO Sam's club!!

Dee B.

Yelp
their employees are helpful. the prices are good, the store is clean and not cluttered and the Honor God by closing on Easter and Christmas. THANK YOU

Marlon B.

Yelp
Still the getto of Sam's club Not as well taken care of as other sam's Even the food court is ill equipped Store never has the kind of stuff I find at other Sam's club I'm guessing they don't have enough sales to justify taking better care To bad

Yelp
Bang 4 Your Buck You really do get a lot of bang for your buck at Sam's Club. It's tricky sometimes, because you can buy too much of something. For instance, Sam's has an incredible meat section, but you'll have to shop for 3 or 4 people at a minimum. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to eat 3 ribeye steaks in one sitting, but my stupid stomach just won't let me. Getting in is way easier than getting out. Checking out can be slow and painful!!

Yelp
Member services of no service at all. After waiting in line for 15 mins to watch this lady sign up one person for a membership, it's my turn and I just need a ticket to shop because my wife has the card. I give her all my wife's info and she finds the account but tells me I'm not in it, even though last time I was here with my wife we worked on same Line to add me to the account. I asked her what I have to do to get on the account and she said come back with your wife. I asked if she can add me online or by phone and she said no. Not helpful at all. Shopping for two beds and groceries for the holidays. Will take that couple thousand dollars and go to Costco and my wife and I will cancel our membership.

Yelp
Zack provided excellent customer service today by wiping my cart handle for me. All the employees I deal with here have given me top notch service. That's why I keep coming back. I get all my basics here....cause the prices are low and the quality is high!!

Yelp
See below for complete details of how Sam's club treats customers AND allows their vendors to sell used items WITH no CONSEQUENCES! Your vendor (LG) WAS CONTACTED 4 times BEFORE the 48 hours. The first time was before 24 hours; I told them they had sent out a USED item, and that the ice maker did not work, (and that I told them I had paid for and expected a NEW ITEM) They totally ignored the used item sent part, and said that the ice maker takes 24 hours after being plugged in to work. Call back then if it still was not working. After 24 hours I again contacted them telling them it still did NOT work. At that time they went over trouble shooting with me over the phone and then said they were going to send out a new ice maker and instructions on how to install it.. they emailed me instructions BUT NEVER SENT A NEW ICE MAKER!! This can be confirmed with XXXX at RXO; LG Ref #230816626124 So this statement in your email is NOT CORRECT! "Unfortunately, our partner vendor is not able to process a full replacement for the item due to that return policy has been exceeded." If LG told you that they are LYING to you!! The LG reference number is 230816626124. This number was given before the 48 hours AND I was told they were going to send out a new ice maker and that I had to install it. Not them but the customere has to fix their USED junk!! (nothing about them sending a used item!!) After 3 days I still had not received the ice maker I again contacted LG and they still had not sent the ice maker out. At that time I again contacted XXXX at RXO, and she told me she had sent in all the documentation and there was nothing else she could do. SHE suggested I STOP PAYMENT ON THE CC. MY impression was that this is how LG operates and she was tired of them also. I had contacted SAM's club about this also, and they at first said I had to deal with LG myself and would not get involved; When I told Sam's I was going to stop payment on the CC they finally contacted me back...But as of today it has been 2 days short of a month AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING ITEM I PAID SAM'S CLUB FOR!! I need this taken care of NOW. I need my money back or a replacement NOW!! Why is Sam's club operating this way? I THOUGHT Sam's club was a reputable business. I should have had a replacement within days not a month. AND LG SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPRIMANDED BY Sam's club FOR SENDING OUT USED NON WORKING ITEMS!! Month latter and STILL NO REPLACEMENT OR CHARGES RETURNED TO CC. Use Costoc!!

Yelp
This place is awesome. Where else can you get 10 pounds of bacon for $35? Store is almost always well stocked, the products (even Member Mark brand) are high quality, and the store is clean. The best feature is the scan-and-go app. I can scan every item while I shop and check out with the click of a button because it stores my credit card. Hate myself a little for supporting the Walton family, but the bulk pricing is too good to pass up.

Yelp
Sam's Club has always been there whenever I've needed materials or snack for a party, reunion, trip, etc! I love how they sell things in bundles. They're not singular items and are definitely a lifesaver when it comes to children parties. Love it. If you wanna buy things in bulk,, looking out further, all you need is a gift membership and you're off to go. The pizza is delicious, and they have everything you need, at a discounted membership price. This is a good place for if you have a big family, and the food is delicious

Yelp
I do not enjoy writing negative reviews, and usually they are based on problematic customer service and other things that are not rectified. I hate coming here, and the only reason I do is for a stupid prescription that I have to take for a long term health issue. So the pharmacy is closed 1:30-2:30 PM so if you are trying to run errands then plan accordingly. I was there 1 min late, I did not know about the policy, and the woman was still helping a man, she refused to get me my script even though I told her it was ready and in the bags they have them in. I also told her I was not aware of the closure. One min, and she was still helping someone, and she was firm. If I were in her position I would have made an exception that one time- honey behind the counter- imagine if that was you! I guess you would rather deal with me later today with a bad attitude. I only had my script transferred here because my insurance changed, and I could no lounger get it filled at Walgreen's. Not that that was by any means perfect, but they always went that extra mile, even if it was a longer wait. The only bad experience I had there was with a temp when my insurance changed, and another staff jumped in and fixed that. The place is a nightmare parking in, and you have to wait for oblivious shoppers going crosswise through the traffic lane, without regard for traffic. I am big on yielding to pedestrians and bikes and other cars, but we should all be contentious commuters. It should be stop let the people ready go. Then maybe I pedestrian waits for you to pass, in between the 5 stop signs, and cross walks they have. I did not have a car for 5 years in College so I try to not be a dick as a walker. I probably would have made it to the counter in time, but I stopped and yielded, then in between the stop signs several other shoppers in their consumer bubble decided to just run walk diagonally in the area between the stop signs. I had a complimentary 1 month membership a while back, and we strolled through a couple times and did not buy anything. The prices for bulk are only sometimes a good deal, honestly the sales at King Sooper per volume are usually a better deal, I guess most Americans have a hard time with math. My parents used to have a Sam's membership, but they discontinued it because it really is not much of a bargain. I have been in hospitality and customer service for over 10 years, and working here would be a personal hell to me, so no wonder your staff is dispassionate. Whatever your feelings on customer service- the key, is to maintain flexibly and try to be a good sport, and treat others how you would appreciate being treated, and yes sometimes we get our buttons pushed or bend the rules, but find another gig, or take a vacation if you cannot remain flexible.

Yelp
Called and asked about COVID booster and a pharmacist asked me, "What condition is this for? Not much HIPPA knowledge at this pharmacy.

Yelp
This location is always clean and staff is helpful. The parking lot and cafe are usually super busy so make sure you plan the proper amount of time for your visit! The butcher at this location is awesome as well- one two different occasions they have trimmed extra fat off of my steaks! Cheers to old school customer service!

Yelp
The prices are better then certain products at Costco. I wouldn't however choose a Costco membership under Sam's. Overall Costco is much better and we simply use Sams because the membership is paid for via the company my brother works for. Their return policy on products isn't anything like Costco's. I believe it's only 30/60 days whereas Costco's is lifetime. The environment and people that go to Sam's is also a lot weird/disrespectful/vulgar. Typical Walmart scene compared to Target

Cloud S.

Yelp
I purchased a membership online on 5/10/22. On 5/11/22, I go to the store to get my membership card. I was told they do not have the membership cards for the membership I purchased. That's awesome. Sell me something that I cannot use. Furthermore, the rep at the customer service (if you want to call it that) counter made it seem like my membership purchase was not valued since I purchased the $45 dollar membership. This is not a good way to start a relationship.

Michael S.

Yelp
The worst Sams Club in town the sec checkout employees like to make jokes while the customers are struggling with one register open.
google avatar

Gail P.

Yelp
I went to the store today to ask about a possible membership. I am trying to decide between the Costco and Sam's membership. The young man at the front door named Francisco was not at all interested in helping us. He offered no type of referral. That was very unfortunate.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
Pretty much a typical warehouse club experience. If you can find it yourself, you can get in and out quickly and save a lot of cash from bulk pricing. However, if you go during peak hours, they have long checkout lines. Or if you go during off hours they don't have enough cashiers so you get long lines. Hmm. Wait a second, I guess they just always have long lines. That aside, they generally have good service, friendly staff, and everything you are looking for at good prices.

Yelp
Err, I thought I have reviewed this SAM's CLUB before.. but apparently, the YELP Troll deleted them away! *SIGH* From Jan 2006 way before my YELPING days till present! Anyways, recent visit was on Sunday August 3rd 2014. Time was at 14:58hrs. As usual this SAM's CLUB is jam-packed with other patrons. Duh! Furthermore, its the WEEKEND.. and this Sam's Club tends to be very busy during the weekends. From my observation, they put the "covered" curb parking in case you want to load and unload your BULK items to your vehicle near to the ENTRANCE/EXIT of this SAM's CLUB. Ahhh another "improvement"... Its OK shopping for BULK items here, and also to "look-see", "look-see" on what Sam's Club has to offer, with comparison with COSTCO, TARGET, WALMART and other BIG BRAND names around town. The Opening hours of this SAM's CLUB is as following : * Monday - Friday : 10am to 8:30pm * Saturday : 9am to 8:30pm * Sunday : 10am to 6pm CLUB MANAGER : J SCOTT STIVERS SAM's CLUB DENVER STORE #6632 505 S. Yelp
I hate complaining about places but I almost felt as if I were in a dream when I came here this past weekend. It was like I was in that movie about a super store with Dane Cook, except not quite as comical. I had a gift card for a membership that apparently didn't work in the swiper. They had to call the number on the back of the card and find out if the gift card was valid and if it did indeed have money on it. When they called on speaker it said it has money on it and "if you are having trouble using it, bring it into a Sam's club location and ask the membership desk for help"... which is where I was. The man at member services kept swiping the card and it kept making an error noise, and he would say sorry it's not working, expecting me to walk out and take the loss when it said there was money on it. I asked if he could key in the number instead of swiping since the phone said it had money and he said he wasn't allowed. Then he continued to swipe the card while it beeped loudly in error. This went on for about 50 swipes. I asked if he could get help from someone else that worked there... he ignored me. All the while, it was like recess for all other workers. Everyone was hugging and chatting about their weekend instead of assisting other customers. I had a line of angry people waiting to be helped behind me. And instead of telling them it would just be a minute, I kept apologizing for the wait myself as they glared. It took at least 30 minutes for the guy to FINALLY call a manager up to help him, annoyed that I wouldn't just accept it not working and leave. Once he got up there, he did an over-ride and let me shop. No apology, no "thanks for waiting", just shoved it on over so I could be out of their hair. My shopping experience was fine. The place was clean and organized and had a fair selection of fresh items. I would say I am a fan of COSTCO compared to Sam's when it comes to pricing and great deals. I think Sam's is a little bit more spendy, however, I still found what I needed and headed out. While checking out it was a direct reflection of the customer service at the beginning of my experience. Everyone chatting and hanging out. I checked out and got the heck out of there. I have a year membership now... but with this customer service and the lack of teamwork in problem solving I doubt I will be signing up for another year. We will see how it goes.

Yelp
Haven't been to this Sam's Club but for all those reviewers complaining about checkout lanes, you should download the Sam's Club App. Through the App you can load your card onto the App, scan as you go while you shop, and checkout through the App. No need for a paper receipt, no need to go to a check lane. As soon as your done shopping, hit checkout on the App, and head for the door. The attendant at the door will just scan the barcode, check an item or two in your cart, and out the door you go. It is so fast, convenient and easy...you should give it a try. Hope this is was helpful!!!

William G.

Yelp
My first time there in a long time, will not go back. Went Sunday a.m., and had to deal with a rude checkout clerk, she was very disrespectful and snotty. Will just drive a few extra miles to Costco where customer service is great.

Jack L.

Yelp
It's unbelievable that a Company this big will force you to pay $100.00...I spoke with a Rep..and was told the account will be closed since I have never bought or used the C.Card.Now I get a bill for the money even after what I was told and it will charge me an extra $40.00 If I do not pay.Nice rip off Company.

Yelp
This particular Sam's Club is not the best one I've ever been to. For starters, when I was arriving, NO ONE was showing their membership cards. Literally about a dozen people ahead of me just walked in but when I attempted to, the girl working rudely stopped me and demanded I show her my membership card. I did and I also asked why just ask me. She told me, "Honey, it gets busy here so I can't do my job all the time." Meanwhile, during this exchange, another 6 people whisked on in without showing membership cards. Inside the store, they are constantly moving things around and nothing is usually in the same place for more than a few weeks to a month. The entire store is unreasonably cold, even in in the winter. The restrooms are usually a biohazard and the most of the cashiers are rude. I opt for the self check-out lines. Finally, when leaving the store, the person always scans your receipt, which is fine. However, they will scan my receipt and then proceed to scan EVERY item I purchased. What the heck is that about? Why not just ring me up at the exit door?

William W.

Yelp
This doesn't refer to this particular Sam's Club location but just their It's dishonest, misleading way of doing business. I bought a Groupon for a Sam's membership and had to fight to get the $25 they promised when I spent $25 at Sam's Club.com within the first 30 days of membership. I called four times, was promised the E gift certificate would be arriving in a few days several times, then finally through a series of emails got the $25. I spent three hours trying to straighten this mess out! Groupon does not offer the option of reviewing Sam's club, as they do for other merchants. Perhaps this is because this scam get so many complaints! Walmart/Sam's Club has a well deserved reputation for not being fair and honest. Course there was a scam a while back where they erased employees overtime hours at Cetera
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
Some of the worst customer service I've ever received. I purchased a TV and noticed 3 days later they had lowered the price $200. I went in to the customer service desk to have them credit me for the difference in price. The manager on duty told me they don't "price match" and that they would rather me box up my TV, return it and purchase the same thing at the new lower price. I went to another Sam's Club and they gladly made the adjustment without any questions asked, just my receipt. I'd avoid buying anything big at this store if they aren't willing to honor the prices that are listed online and in every other store.

Yelp
Been here twice and neither were times when I lived in Denvy. Both times have been in preparation for our annual Snowberry Trip. We pick up an average of $450 worth of booze for a 2 night stay in the most glorious (so far) cabin that sleeps 15 comfortably (more like 20) in a little town called Snowberry (near Keystone). First impression from the cashier both times is like: wtf... but after a few minutes they see our game face and that we are on a mission to buy booze, they lighten up and often come and ask if we need assistance. This year, we received 3 commemorative flasks as a gift. Also, was receommended to buy the Crown Gift Set instead of just the bottle for the same price which included the sic-est purple fabric covered flask. We were all so stoked when we left AND we were almost ready for Snowberry. Next stop... the place to pick up our Luge.... yes Liquor Luge.

Yelp
This SAMs club has the longest lines, and I avoid coming here unless I have time to stand in line for 10-15 minutes. There are always staff wondering around- I wonder why one of them can't open a 10 Items or less aisle?
google avatar

Yelp
When you go to a store called "Big Bag o' Rocks" and you leave with a big bag of rocks, then you got what you came for. The sticking point is whether or not the experience in getting those rocks was good or bad. Your expectations of what you were going to get were set before you got in there. Let's translate this to Sam's, and I'm rating this location only. When you go in, you know that you can get a keg-sized tub o' mustard for $2.99, more than you could eat in 3 lifetimes. Stuff in bulk, cheap. Your expectations about what you were to get were set before you walked in the door. What does this leave? The *experience* of it. Did things make sense? Did you find what you wanted approximately where you expected it? My answer is a definitive NO. The aisles made no sense - food rows were alternated with janitorial supplies, then back to food - many times. I was accosted by randomness - did it overcome the great prices? The kicker is the checkout. A conglomerate like Sam's should be able to afford each checkout lane to have an attendant. In the grand scheme of things -how much do they really cost? And maybe if it gets a little slow, those attendants can wander the aisles and actually help a customer. I don't know what's harder - getting trying to find someone who knows what they're talking about at Home Depot, or at Sams. And how pissed are your customers get when they have to wait behind 6 people whose carts are stuffed like the Grinch's at the top of Mount Crumpet? Pretty pissed. A Generous 2 is Bestowed.

Yelp
The other day I was thinking, "Man I wish I had 2 gallons of mayonaise, 80 pickles, and a backyard playset," But I couldn't think of a place until I heard of Sam's Club. It is like that Mario Bros level where everything is giant sized. I believe Sam's Club is like Costco's slightly uglier sister. They both have huge loaves of bread and a giant bucket of pork bellies, but Costco has that sweet tire swing I can't take my eye's off of. When it all comes down to it Sam's is closer to my house so I will go enjoy her 80 gallon barrel of mustard.

Yelp
Very poor customer service desk. They are very unwilling to help. Very inconsistent answers and when they cant figure it out they tell you to call the 800 walmart number. Stick with Costco. Better selection and knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
This location is much cleaner and more organized than the location in Aurora. It is also the closest location to where I live. I just started up my membership again, but was pretty disappointed to see that they've really cut the variety of brands offered to almost nothing. Also, their prices on a lot of things aren't much cheaper than K-Mart located on the other side of the parking lot. The whole point of membership is to buy items in bulk for cheaper than regular sized. I hate shopping, so buying in bulk would save me time and supposedly money. Not the case at Sam's Club anymore. The lines here are atrocious and there is no self-checkout or express checkout lane. I will not be renewing my membership next year, instead I'll be opting for Costco. I guess the one bonus of this location is that they offer Gouveia's Portuguese sausage for a good price. It's sausage from Hawaii that is expensive to buy at Pacific Mercantile, which is the only other store that offers it in Colorado.

Yelp
lon Oct 13 th my wife and I purchased a vvisa gift card for 100 dollars. we gave it as a gift to some friends that were getting married. when they went to cash it out they were told that there was nothing on it. so they call Visa. Visa proceeds to hang up on them twice. now I look like I gave a gift that isn't worth anything. They reach out to me. I reach out to Sams club chat service. The first lady syas she couldn't see my purchase for the card. So, I think maybe they didn't charge me. I bring up the Sams Club App and I can't bring up the purchse in Maple Grove Mn. I tey the browser version and the receipt comes up. so the first lady was a waste of my time. So, I try again. they say call Visa and say we tried and they are a waste of time too. I say that I want to talk to a supervisor. She is a waste of time too. She starts spouting about terms and agreements. I'm thinking what terms? They take a 105 dollars from me and don't put anything on the card. Good deal for them, bad for me. All I want is money back to give the married couple some cash. They say they say they can't do it. Now I have to go into a Sams Club to harass a manager on giving me a credit or fix the issue. This totally sucks. Don't ever buy a gift card from Sams. They don't honor the purchase.

Yelp
Trying to decide who's a better fit, Costco or Sam's, we did a walk though. Sam's appears to have a larger selection of items than Costco (more than two types of lotion) and appears to be a little cheaper than Costco to. There is a liquor area, but the prices didn't beat my etoh hookup The Keg. Thank you to the sample ladies that kept my blood sugar level in check . Small chocolate milkshakes were even being served to customers while they were waling around.

Yelp
Sam's is too massive for me to even fathom reviewing the entire store at once. That is why this review reflects only the photography service (and maybe a little bit of the free food sampling they seem to have every day at four, which I used to mistake as a the finger food Country Buffet of South Broadway). I procrastinated a project yesterday where I needed a photo printed. I was able to make my order online and pick up the print one hour later at this location, for only 14 cents! I actually paid in change (a dime and four pennies), which felt great, because I dislike having too many pennies in my life at once. I will do the math for you, back in the day of film rolls, to develop a roll of 24 exposures would only have been $3.36. Deal! I'd say the majority of the time I visit this photo counter also, the service is really friendly. Only once did I have a problem with an actual print, where the cropped version of the image cut off my head. I didn't care enough to complain, but I bet if I brought it back, they'd take care of it. The membership card I have for here is through work, so that makes everything an even better deal for me, because I pay no annual dues, or however they handle that part. So, yeah, I love Sam's in the context that I know it. Cheapness that feels less dirty than Wall-mart (even though I'm pretty sure they are owned by the same peeps), where I could have free appetizers every day if I wanted (free food samples are exciting because they are free, and a small enough portion of each that if something is disgusting, you've only eaten a little bit of it, and it's kind of like trick or treating for adults, within one big cement box of a store)

Yelp
I had my glasses made at Sam's in Longmont. It was very clean and professional. Everyone wore a mask and hand sanitizer was available. The optician explained my options. The cost was very reasonable and I am happy with the results. I will use them again.

Yelp
Poor customer service is the norm at this store, and I don't think it's ever going to change. Apathetic managers and employees are all you will find. I've never seen poorer produce quality in a retail store of any kind. Do yourself a favor, and patronize any other Sam's Club or similar big box in town.

Yelp
This place use to be a go to for staples. But, you can now get the same thing pretty much anywhere for the same prices. At Sam's just get more of it. The check-out lines are crazy, be prepared to wait. From a food perspective Sam's pretty much carries everything that is wrong with out diets. Just look around. Wow.

Yelp
Their tire center is awful. Two weeks to get tires installed!!! And if you buy them for installation elsewhere, it voids the warranty. Get your time res elsewhere.

Yelp
Worst Sam's Club I have every been to. Employees are rude and racist. Customer service at this location is the worst I've ever experienced.

Yelp
Sam's club is great! Its ratings shouldn't be lowered just because someone doesnt need a 2.99 large bulk or mustard. It saves people money every day. If you don't like it go somewhere else and take your mean comments with you. Have a positive day instead of negative and don't blame others for it. It all depends on you. I got a great bed from sams and an awesome pots and pans set. With the money I saved I got nicer sheets and a sweet spatula set somewhere else. Thanks sams!

Yelp
Sam's Club is great if you have a house full of kids, own a restaurant ( in need of supplies), have an industrial-sized freezer in your garage, or regularly host the neighborhood block parties. If you meet any of the above conditions, you'll enjoy the opportunity to purchase food and consumables in large quantities at discounted prices. If not, then the $35-$40 per year membership fee is not worth it as you can buy most of this stuff at your local grocery store in smaller quantities for just a bit more. If however you just have to have that ten pound beef fillet for $10/pound, this is the place for you.

Yelp
It's Sam's Club. It's the same as the rest. However, their expiration dates on some of their bulk foods seem better than our local store in SE Aurora. They don't carry one of the food items I went in for that ours does, which was disappointing, but not something to ruin my day. Found some pretty neat and very cheap dog toys which I'd never seen before and picked up some workout shorts very cheap so all in all, it was a worthwhile stop!

Yelp
My review is specific. I want to compliment Amber and the ladies in the bakery. I needed a special cake for a friends 90th birthday celebration at our Silver Sneakers class. Unfortunately, the original date was cancelled because of the blizzard. Amber kept my information, including the picture, on file. They filled the order the following week and did a beautiful job. The cake was seen on Channel 4 news that afternoon. It looked as good as it tasted. The price was great and the service was wonderful.
