The Best Hot Dogs In Philadelphia - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"The world would be a much less interesting place without the free samples, bulk mania, and shopping cart-pouncing essence that’s Sam’s Club. That list can also include their hot food section, where you can get a hot dog and a soda for $1.38. There’s no better dog deal in the city—since Dollar Dog Night went to Valhalla. At the Franklin Mills (we'll never call it Philadelphia Mills) shopping spot, they give you a simple hot dog as it should be: glistening, with no frills, and cheap. It’s the exact fuel you’ll need to sprint for the last inflatable Swoop rocking Eagles gear in aisle 55." - candis mclean

Sam's Club Review - Northeast Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Located in Franklin Mills (we'll never say Philadelphia Mills), Sam's Club is a grocery store, wholesale spot, and tailgate supply destination. Anything you could name, Sam's Club probably has it, and in bulk. Fresh produce? A hot food station with $1.38 and $5 pizza? A massive inflatable Swoop decked out in Eagles gear that's perfect for your lawn? Yes, yes, and, if you can believe it, yes." - Candis R. McLean

Went to sams optical to get a copy of my script. Was asking some basic questions. Was consulting with some slim sassy guy with dreads. Super nasty attitude for no reason. Took everything in me not to break this dude in half. I suggest someone teach him customer service. One day he might test someone less patient.

So let me say sams club does offer limited snacks that are always worth buying, but for a limited time! I personally prefer Costco but for certain items will go to sams club. These cookies are good! I’m not even kidding! And when it’s good and on the shelf it’s usually not there for much long either.. the chicken is good too, hence why there’s always those long lines for them! Always compare prices via the app so you save more. Costco offers mores for your buck but sams is a local one and you save here on certain items too!

I visited the Sam’s Club at 1000 Franklin Mills Cir, Philadelphia, PA 19154 around 1:50 PM and experienced the most frustrating and degrading customer service I’ve ever had. I was in a rush and only had my photo ID and QR code. Because I’ve recently lost weight, they accused me of not being the person on the ID. First, Joe told me flatbed carts weren’t allowed at self-checkout and forced me to move to the regular line. Then Wanda at the register refused to believe I was the account holder and made me go back and forth four times, while my groceries melted. It got worse when someone said this “happens all the time with people like you.” What does that even mean? I felt targeted because of my accent and appearance. A supervisor named Maria even began mocking my accent, laughing, and making jokes. I’ve never felt so humiliated. I’m a paying member, and I didn’t try to steal—I was just trying to check out and go home. This was discriminatory and racist treatment. Sam’s Club corporate must take action and investigate Joe, Wanda, and Maria at this location. No customer should ever be treated this way.

I ordered cupcakes for my class's graduation and called and asked them if I could pick them up a day early, Net was awesome and had them done and I picked them up within the hour! He was so helpful and told me his mom was a teacher and he understood how hectic the end of the year is and that really warmed my heart that he went out of his busy day to help me. So thank you Net, you made my day! And the cupcakes came out beautifully.

I started going to this Sam’s Club for 10 years now. On 7/18/25 I had a whole different experience. My family and I was at Sam’s after 3pm and one of the employees acted very rude towards me. I wanted to talk to his manager but I decided not to and give him the benefit of doubt, thinking he might just be having a bad day. As we were checking out I noticed two managers or it could have been one manager and a staff standing few feet away from where we were checking out at and the manager kept looking directly at me and the other staff back was facing my direction and she seems to be upset while talking to the store manager. Again they both could have been managers. I realized every time I looked up the manager was staring at me while I’m checking out. At one point she and I eyes meet because she kept stirring at me while the other staff kept on talking to her who seems to be angry. That’s when I realized the staff that acted rude to me probably went ahead and lied on me. That’s could have been the only reason why the manager or managers were watching me which made me very uncomfortable. I went ahead and paid for the groceries and left. There was no reason why a manager should be watching me because I have never did nothing and they had little customers at that time. I want to say thank you Sam’s Club i will not be spending my money there anymore since you have proving so many times that you do not like and care about certain race.

Google
Their tire center is awful for customer service and timing. The only reason it is 2 stars is because their prices are good. I made an appointment for 8am and when I arrived, nobody there that could put tires on so they told me the appointment was for 9am. I know I made it for 8 and got confirmation so either they have a system issue or they are lying. I'd go with the latter since at around 10:30 I inquired on the status and they now say they are running late, obvious to me why. BTW, while waiting in their large room, there is no seating so better get ready to stand for a few hours.

If you’re looking for a one-stop shop, this place has it all! From electronics to groceries, it’s super convenient, and the variety is impressive. I always leave with more than I planned!

Google
Love Sam’s Club. This is my first year with them, and I am very impressed. Not only is it always very clean, well stocked, and spacious, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The Rotisserie Chicken at less than $5 is incredible. I also love having the discounted gas close by. I am especially thankful for the pharmacy dept. They are friendly, professional, and prompt when filling prescriptions.

Yelp
Pretty nice selection of items. Things are always in stock at this location. Recent trip came in for solution for my contacts which is in bunk here and lasts a while. Also picked up some more cases of water- they have Deer Park for a great price. They also have really tasty rotisserie chickens and it's a dollar cheaper then the BJ's where I usually get the chicken from.

Yelp
This review is mostly for the Sams Club Pharmacy. Amber went above and beyond helping me get a prescription I needed. I had one refill remaining that I had originally filled in NY. NY doesn't allow electronic transfer but Amber and the pharmacist called the Sam's Club Pharmacy in NY for verbal agreement of transfer. I really needed the prescription so I appreciated it so much. The rest of the club was as expected. Had everything I needed, affordable prices, and a great sweet treat (berry sundae - yum!).

Yelp
I did a quick stop with my friend to grab ice cream for our daughter. They are yummy and can't beat the price for the amount we got. And the Coke icee caught my eyes. I can't resist from not grabbing one to try.

Yelp
The place is just like a regular Sam's club, well that's what it looks like but NOT for the cafe. When I was getting my soda from the soda fountain 2 of them were acting strange cause my soda tasted like seltzer water when I drank it. One of the fountains were alright tho. Also, the benches/tables are really really messy with grease and food stains.

Yelp
My wife's slice of heaven on earth and I don't mind because it saves me money. We come here for our stocking up. Having children to care for really means we need a lot. I like the layout of the store. Customer service is great. Always find what we need and then some.

Yelp
I received a "free" one year membership through one of my credit cards so after many years shopping at BJs, decided to try them out even though they are similar stores. Why not; it's a free year! It's going to take me some time to get used to the layout of the store and know where "my" items are placed. Once I do, then I can get my in-store time down. The store I find is much cleaner and better lighted than BJs. They have some different products (they have the Maker's brand while BJs has the Berkeley and Jensen brand). Upon some close inspection of their websites, I find that the same products are usually within a few cents of each other. Sam's Club, however, does not take manufacturer coupons and BJs does. BJs also has their member coupons which can be through digital or paper so on certain products you can save a dollar or two more. I like the meat counter better here, and most of their meats are from the USA while BJs is foreign. So for the most part, I'll be visiting both for now. But one will have to go in a few months as it really is not worth paying for two similar places. Each has the ups and downs and I think in the long run, the amount spent would equal out. Right now, tough choice for me.

Yelp
Apparently this particular Sam's Club location does not care about people with disabilities. My brother who suffers from a seizure disorder got turned away for having his therapy animal with him. He was pretty much told his disability didn't count and neither did her certification as a therapy animal. I promptly turned and said we wouldn't shop there then. The Sam's club at Willow Grove never denies us entry and we shop there with no issue. I guess not all Sam's club locations are disgraceful and inconsiderate but this particular location IS and we will not be returning. If you also hate disabled people, enjoy shopping there.

Yelp
Disclosure: My review has nothing to do with Sam's Club products or employees. It refers to the lying, scamming, POSER AT&T "sales reps" that harass you the second you're within their slimy, conniving, reach. PLEASE proceed with nothing less than a blow horn and a flame thrower when passing them. Specifically, Lavina. She will say ANYTHING to make her sale. She flat out lied during our sign up process, and when we contacted her by the number she provided to us, once we explained our issue, she stopped responding. She is a lie, and a cheat. My family and I have never been robbed by anyone the way she has. A fellow "rep" told me today Lavina has the highest sales of their team. Again, that is because she LIES. TO. PEOPLE. WITH. EVERY. BREATH. That same rep also explained that they do NOT in fact work for At&T, and there is NOTHING they can do about billing. So all of the promises they make during sign up LITERALLY do nothing but earn their commission. I won't bore you with all of the minuscule details of the lying that went on or a break down of my bill, but what I will give you is this example: "After all your discounts, your monthly bill for 4 unlimited lines will be $65 plus taxes, fees, finalizing at $103 a month. Your first bill will be slightly higher until the discounts kick in." Our first bill was $374!!!!! A "little" higher?! What planet is this snake with arms, legs, and long dark hair from?! She's the one a little "higher". After numerous disputes with At&T, we were assured most of the charges were prorated, and our 4th, and 5th billing cycle would roll in at zero dollars due to all of the credits that would return. So essentially you're signing up to loan At&T hundreds of dollars for a few months, right? Wrong.. second bill, $191, third bill, $191, 4th bill, $161. So $30 of credits kicked in somewhere but what about the rest? DO NOT EVER sign up with a phone company who's store you are not standing in. Lavina also scams at the BJ's on Red Lion Rd.

Yelp
I love this place, unique items you don't see anywhere else. Great prices too. And you can't leave without lunch at the cafe.

Yelp
Sams club is like many other wholesale clubs. The difference, I like is most big box companies like this, the more you get the more you save. Is rotisserie chicken you save and they are bigger then the chickens from you're local supermarket. But Sams is even good for electronics even batteries for your vehicle and most importantly tires for your car, good deals and you're in and out within an hour of getting tires put on your vehicle, and about alittle over a year ago Sams added a gas station. Which is a huge Plus.

Yelp
I love Sam's club there bakery items are delicious. They have good affordable prices for all of their items. I've been a member for 11 years now

Yelp
So I have been COMING HERE for over 37 years, now I watched a good, 5-8 people get more then 1 bottle of hand sani.... you had people putting them in pockets, purses ect, so I get another one to be RUDELY TALKED TO AND TOLD NO........ I said are you kidding me...... no they were not, Maybe instead of worrying about me buying two bottles you should've worried about the slap nut, The self check out with at least eight bottles.... so that's fine I seen favoritism going on certain people could get more, so I'm gonna take my business elsewhere and join at BJ's closer, and it's not like a zoo, the selections a lot more, they have better product for cheaper and I'm just tired of attitude really and Sam's has changed for the worse just like The rest of stores

Rosetta J.

Yelp
It's very Inconvenient that you can only shop certain hours so if you're trying to pick up an item before work you're out of luck and said 10 o'clock even though they open at 8 o'clock we have 5 different memberships will be canceling and going to BJS
google avatar

Nobuyuki S.

Yelp
Friendly staff and the food is good. They always have something of value, but sometimes, it's just good to window shop. I've never been in a Sam's Club where I wasn't treated well, even when the employees are rushed and harried. I bought some toothpaste, which will probably last me 1.5 years, but the price for 4 tubes is about the same as 3 smaller tubes at Target, Walmart, or K-mart. You can't do better than that. What's more--they care! Can you put a price on that? They don't accept Visa, which will always be a downfall.
google avatar

Yelp
The store always busy but the tire shop way under staffed 45 minutes in line just to be see if they have my tires crazy

Yelp
I've been a member here for at least 9 years. I used to love this store but over the years it has gone down hill. They stopped carrying some of the things that I used to buy here. Customer service is terrible. The thing that really made me mad was a few months ago at the jewelry counter I seen a necklace that I liked and asked to see it. The girl behind the counter said I couldn't see it until I bought it. What??? Who buys jewelry without taking it out from behind the glass to look at it first? The girl told me " I am not going to keep cleaning the jewelry every time someone wants to look at something." So after that I told her to forget it. I probably would have bought it if I could have looked at it but these workers are very lazy and rude so that's their loss. Not to mention I pay for the highest membership, only to be treated like that. This month I took a tour of Costco and I like it so much better. They have a lot of stuff that Sam's doesn't have. The customer service goes above and beyond to help you unlike SAMs. I recommend touring Costco before going here!!

Yelp
This Sam's Club is on the borderline of the 8% sales tax. Go outside to Bucks County and enjoy the 6% sales tax. There is a Sam's in Langhorne on Route 1 where i load up on 6% sales tax. You will save a lot of money buying outside Philadelphia

Yelp
This is your typical big box store. I do love how they have a large selection of seasonal items. I go in there usually to buy snacks and stuff for my son for school. It is so much easier to get it done once a month. I do have to say that I am so incredibly pleased with their optical department. I wear glasses all the time and went in to price glasses because I heard from someone that they had good prices. Put it to you this way, I need progressive lenses and have a large prescription. I am used to spending close to $400 dollars on glasses. I was so happy to see that I could get everything I needed and frames that were nice and shaped my face well for $285! I am serious. I could have also had the option to get sunglasses for 40% off when I bought the regular glasses. I did not need that offer but it was so nice that I had this option. These are good frames too. I bought these glasses a month ago and they are fantastic.

Yelp
Customer Service people are extremely rude. This review comes after multiple encounters over a year.

Yelp
I'm not a huge fan of Sam's Club, and really not a fan of this one. It's overcrowded, has a poor selection of products to choose from, and the quality of products are also poor. I usually only buy baby products and paper towels here, because I don't use anything else they sell at this location. This location doesn't have a gas station either, despite there being plenty of room for one. They've tried to rip me off on multiple occasions. The other day I was told that I couldn't get my member advantage discounts because my account was expiring next month. I had to throw a tantrum about how I paid for 365 days of advantage benefits, not almost 365 days until the company decides that they want me to renew my membership! On a separate occasion, I added a few product coupons to my internet account, then saw after paying that the discounts didn't go through. They were the same exact products, but apparently had different product numbers. So I returned the items, but wasn't refunded the 8% taxes I paid on the items! I am not renewing my membership.

Yelp
Cool store, i enjoy staring at the huge flat screens that i cant afford ... dreaming about how nice it would look on my basement wall. Mainly come here for the dirt cheap spring water 32 bottles for like 4$. cool place to go when your bored and looking to spend money.

Yelp
Neosha and her staff at Sam's Club do a great job. She has been an active member of the Bensalem Business Association. We have had multiple meetings in Sam's Club. Not surprising most of the business in Bensalem are members at Sam's Club. You can order ahead of time and they will have order ready for you when you get there. They are also open from 7 to 10 for us business owners. There is only one thing I wish they would do at Sam's Club. have a designated line for 15 items or less. They are fast at checking people out but it would be nice to stop in and grab the couple items you need and hit an express lane.

Yelp
My kid and I went to Sam's Club this morning for a new computer monitor. Hoping to find the right monitor, I asked one of the sales person in the Electronics Department for assistance but ended up with the worst customer service I've seen in decades. The sales person's name was Nir and I asked if they have this particular monitor in stock. He said he'll look it up and get back to us but after half an hour of waiting he never did. While we were looking around we ended up seeing him chatting with another sales guy and when our eyes met he ignored us. Save yourself the time and order online.

Yelp
Always busy, do not accept coupons. BJs does take coupons! Go here because it is closer.

Barbara H.

Yelp
Used to be really good first 5 years. Many products I purchased on monthly basis, e.g. EAS BARS, health cakebar with raisins and nuts, slice and put in toaster was sooo good, big jar chocolate covered raisins. Quality has gone down as well as selection. Went today to get a battery charger. Ended up going somewhere else. Also go get sugar drinks other places. I loved those health bars from California.

Yelp
This place is a mess... First of all I had to comb the parking lot for a cart as no one working there brings them up front. The store is dusty and dirty... "Fresh" produce and meats are either completely underripe or a day from expiration. There is very little variety for dry goods and toiletries. Oh and it's a NIGHTMARE getting out of there!!!!!!!!! Expect to spend at least 45 minutes in line.
google avatar

JJ V.

Yelp
I don't buy by bulk so the only thing I use this store for is electronics. I just bought a computer from them because they had the most reasonable price for a standalone with all the specs I wanted. I also ended up buying a open box monitor for a very good price. There open box items are pretty good and decent prices. I have had several bad incidents with purchasing a open box computer because they had put their password in and they had given me the wrong power adaptor to plug it in with so that turned out to be a nightmare and also they gave me a keyboard and mouse without the usb plug. So when I went home I had a computer that I couldn't plug in. So be careful when you buy any open box computers because make sure the mouse and keyboard go with it and make sure you have the usb plug. Also make sure you get the right power adaptor. Wow, that was alot to explain but you get the point. Be careful with open box items!

Yelp
i give this sam club 5 stars im there quite often they lways have want ya want in food books or housel hold products real cheap and lower most times than Bjs or costco. also there concessions are good ya can get a Hot fog combo for 1.50 thats nanathan Hot Dog and Large Soda for 1.50 that outside somewherelse else be 4.00

Yelp
Sams Club gas station offers only 2 grades of unleaded fuel , 89 octane and 93. On most days, they are selling both grades for nearly 10 cents less per gallon than some nearby competitors. The location is close to the North Philly Sam's club and for members at Sam's club, getting a fill up here is a no brainier. You will need to have your member ID in order to make a purchase at the pump and they only accept credit cards.

Lisa C.

Yelp
Terrible customer service!!! The first time I called, the lady put me on hold for 10 mins, so I hung up and called again. I was put on hold again for about 10 minutes until a different lady picked up and told me the person working at the department is on lunch at 11 am!!!

Roma B.

Yelp
I like the layout of this store. I can always get in and out quickly. I love the seasonal items and clothes. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the space you have to wonder around and shop.

Savage T.

Yelp
Got a great trampoline here which was way less than toys r us and bigger. They place is sparse on frills but you can find great deals if you are patient.

Syed H.

Yelp
Be careful about buying electronics goods. Make sure you check it before leaving the store. I went to purchase a camera and i was told i can not open the box because if i open it i have to pay for it. I took the box to the cashier, paid for it and instantly opened it. I was surprised to find that the box was not sealed, the packaging inside was ripped, the camera case was missing and there was unusual white dust on all over the camera. I went back to the lady who gave me the camera at the beginning to return and she started saying i should have checked and repeatedly asking "Have you gone out from the store" It was not even 5 minutes i took the camera from her and i never left the store. Even after that she kept on asking whether i went out or not.At this point I told her "shut you mouth and check with the survillence and i am going to write a review about it. Her attitude changed after this and started calling me honey. :) It appeared to me that she knew the condition of this camera before hand and just wanted to get rid of an damaged item to save the company some money.
