Absolutely amazing! Stopped by while we were in Van Nuys. Drove in from Palm Springs… We saw this on tik tok and said let’s try it. And… we loved it! They cooked our filet minon kabobs on the grill outside. Peppers, salad and cabbage were refreshing. This place did not disappoint! We are taking the chicken kabobs on the road back:)

If you want some authentic home cooked meals, this is the place. Best Armenian restaurant I've had. Small mom and pop feel. They cook to order all the kabobs right outside using special wood/coal chips. The aroma had me eating before the pics so my plate is half full. 😝 I suggest having the potatoes, they are so good

Sep 7th, 2022 Consistently GREAT. I order their awesome kabobs every day. Yesterday had an assortment of lamb chops, beef, pork (eakibir) and grilled veggies. Everything was delish and mouthwatering tasty. Aug 16, 2022 Great kabobs, affordable prices. I came here for lunch, had a skewer of lamb chops with a skewer of grilled veggies on a side (tomatoes and an eggplant). Everything was delish, the lamb was juicy and flavorful, grilled exactly as I like it. The team members were very friendly and attentive to my requests. I’m really happy that “discovered” this place. I liked it so much that came the next day with a friend. We ordered different kinds of kabobs: lamb chops, eakibir (small pieces of pork), beef (filet mignon), the grilled potato (on a skewer) and their grilled veggies (tomatoes, peppers and eggplants). Everything was delicious. 🤤🤤Kudos to the whole team, the grill master and the owners. 👍🏻👍🏻

I have gone there a lot for three years, starting when Sam was in Vanowen. I have been a loyal customer for a very long time, until recently, when I went and asked for Sam multiple times because I am used to him greeting me and serving me, and the employees there said he was not there., saying he is sick I found later on from others that he sold the place, and I was being lied to. I did not like that. I do not like being lied to. I do not doubt that the business is good, but the new management should not lie on something like such, especially because Sam has been there for a very long time, and customers are used to him taking orders. it does not look good on them. Anyway, I will not be back again, because I do not like that I was being lied to this entire time. They will not go far like this, I am sure of it.

Best new find in LA. I was driving in the area and my kids saw a man coming kebabs on the sidewalk. They begged us to go there for lunch and I'm SO glad we did. Dining in is a whole experience and the food is exceptional. You order at the counter and they grab your skewers and cook them fresh. Then they display the food along with salads, dips and rice on long board planks and bring them to the table to be enjoyed family style. We LOVED it and have gone back twice. Our favorites: Filet shish kabob Ground beef kabob Sturgeon fish kabob Lamb chops Potatoes This is defiantly a Lovely hidden gem of a restaurant hidden.

We've been in search of a new kabob spot since original kabob factory shrunk down their portions. Sam's has great reviews and is much closer to home, so we finally tried it out and we were impressed! Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned well. My husband and I both got the beef shish kebab plate and the meat was tender and flavorful. Hummus was also on point. We also tried the potato skewers which was good, but nothing special. The only things I would charge are very minor: More lavash bread and swapping out that jalapeno for the more traditional Anaheim pepper. I'm sure jalapenos are just cheaper so that might be why. But the pepper is one of my favorite things about getting kebabs and I was missing it. Friendly staff. Clean dine-in area. Will definitely make this a regular spot for us!

Went to Sam's for the first time today... all I can say is yum! Food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly! Love how they cook the kebabs over charcoal out front. Restaurant was clean which is always good sign! Will definitely be back!

The food is incredible, worth every penny! My kids will eat every last bit of rice on there plate.

I've eaten at Sam's Kebab by Beck Cuisine twice recently. I like how they have expanded the menu to add new good options. Service was great as usual, friendly atmosphere. I will be coming back.

Possibly my first 5 Star review..so I was doing my taxes a block away...and smelled meat or chicken like being grilled..I saw where it was coming from ..the rest is history I'm hooked..love the food and the location is super clean and the service is really good they serve you the food like if they take pride in how good it taste..definitely stop by look at the meats and other items that they grill before ordering..

I got catering for about 20 people and WOW! All my guests were so pleased. The food is sooo delicious! Definitely worth trying this place.

Picked up an order for 20 ppl and everyone loved it and I tried it all and it was as good as it gets. Sam's is the place to get your Armenian bbq.

Went to order food and was told Sam is not here. 2 weeks later I went again and was told the same thing. Sam has become like family to us and was very disappointed to find out he sold the place. The food is ok but does not have the same ambiance since Sam left.

My wife and I were out shopping for cars and we decided to try something new. upon pulling up to the restaurant I saw some gentleman cooking meat out over charcoal and decided to try it out ( as I am a sucker for outdoor cooked food). I ordered the beef Lula kebab plate and she ordered the chicken Shawarma wrap. we are very very satisfied with our dishes. Very juicy and you can taste the freshness The only reason why I did not give this place a five star is I wish that they would serve the food on a proper plate with real utensils

Delicious traditional kebabs. You can eat them there or to go. Great authentic cooking and awesome service. My go to spot in the San Fernando Valley. Great taste and great prices.

Absolutely never recommend to anyone. We ordered 1 lulea kebab and salmon kebab.... And 1 tea because I was freezing to death while we waited for the food, no heaters at all( inside of the actual restaurant) tea was bright after the food, almost cold))) very low quality tea, that never dissolved in that warm water...I never touched that tea. Still I was charged for it. The rice was dry and plain, they brought along with the rice and 2 pieces of meat and super dry salmon exact 2 pieces of grilled vegetables: one tomato and spicy pepper ...oh and tzatziki sauce. I took the salad from my my husband's plate... he got a bonus instead of tzatziki....if you want to be treated like in Soviet Union type of low quality service and food... this is the spot. First and last time here. The brake down of the receipt was not provided after we specifically asked for it. They told us: "you see the price on the screen? Go ahead and calculate it yourself " we left!

Absolutely love this place. When you walk in, the customer service is amazing and they always greet you with smiles. The ambiance in the restaurant is a very relaxing vibe, especially with the aquarium! On the main reason why I always go here. The food tastes absolute phenomenal. The beef with lavash is what I always get, and I always get it medium rare. It's perfectly seasoned and he tomato sauce they make in house is absolutely delicious. They are the only place that does it right! If you haven't checked out Sam's Kebab, definitely treat yourself and stop by! You'll be happy you did!

We love to order from them. Their pork bbq is delicious. Hm the koobideh is whatevs. And their red sauce to go with the bbq is bomb. It's family owned so you do get the family vibe. Try it and see for yourself.

This place is charming. grilling to order on the sidewalk and family working the whole place. I've had a lot of kebab wraps, but the pork ikibir is genuinely special with some sort of tomato mixture inside. It's also a generous portion. Haven't tried the other things on the menu but this is worth coming back for

Walked in and was ignored. The restaurant was empty and two employees were at a register. I walked up and one employee even made eye contact with me, kept his frown, and went back to what he was doing without any acknowledgment. Again, completely empty restaurant. It's fine if you can't help me right away, but at least acknowledge me. Literally the foundation of customer service.

Ordered Chicken Lule Kabob plate to-go for $16. Customer service was great and only waited 15min for food to be done. The chicken lule, the rice, and side salad was delicious and amazing, although I do wish I ordered some hummus or tzatziki on the side to eat with the lavash and plate. Came in on a Saturday evening after 8 was easy to read the menu and take my order. My wife and I ordered 2 beef kebabs. Absolutely amazing and delicious, the beef was seasoned perfect and the rice was cooked perfect. The side salad was just that. The beef was mouth watering perfectly cooked no fat pieces and no chewy pieces. My wife absolutely love it! Costumer service was nice very friendly and helpful.

Sams kebab hooked it up yesterday for sure.the party platter for 10 they made for my family was more then what my expectations were. The food was set in a huge circle sturdy metal tray. Nothing floppy . They even said I can keep the tray. The food was so amazing that I had people that don't eat lamb .... Eating lamb and saying it taste better then beef. Beautiful presentation and very nice and helpful staff that will help you carry your food to your car for you. Thank you everyone. Got a new happy customer for life .

Food is delicious. Service is superb. Came back the second time tonight..and oh i love Tzatsiki sauce (my all time favorite), grilled jalapeno and potato. Goes very well with filet mignon and pork kebab Definitely coming back to try the others on the menu.

An incredible and affordable family run business! Got a catering platter for Father's day! Abundant amount of different meats, vegetables, bread and the potatoes! Potatoes were so good! Will definitely order again and recommend them for catering or just pop in and get a plate. Hummus was also delicious. You will not be disappointed.

This is such a great underground spot, super underrated! Best bbq in the valley, hands down. I've tried a lot before, but nothing tops this. All food is guaranteed fresh, tasty, and moist. The service is phenomenal as well, super sweet staff. Highly recommend.

Hands down my favorite Armenian BBQ restaurant. The environment is homely and welcoming. The staff are kind and gracious. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the chicken kabob (which is to die for). I'm a big fan of Armenian food and like to try different places, and this is for sure the best I've tried. I heavily recommend trying it out.

Ordered the beef lula and pork ikibir plates. It came with rice, grilled jalapeño and tomatoes, cucumber and tomato salad and lavash bread. Everything is good! It's not fast food--they don't grill the meat until you order. Great customer service, great food!!

Oh my GOD!!! I always pass by and see the old man bbqing. I knew i had to try. I called last minute and placed two bbq mix orders. So amazing!! Everything is so well cooked in to see it, it's saved us a lot of time of bbqing ourselves and overall the taste was just amazing. Thank you so much guys, I will recommend this place to everyone!

Sam's kebabs is the most amazing kebab place in town I suggest everybody come on down and tell their friends because this is the best kebab restaurant I've ever been to and the food taste amazing cooked outside on a wood stove the meat comes out amazingly tender and amazing I give this 1 million stars

Saw them BBQing while driving down Victory BLVd and made a quick turn around to pick up dinner. This great Armenian Kebab house is a gem in this neighborhood. Fresh marinated kebabs give you a multitude of choices along with potatoes, peppers and tomatoes (you need to try them all). I got the chicken breast BBQ plate and it was amazing. Perfectly marinated and BBq'd, super juicy & oh so good. I got the BBQ pork ribs for my hubby who was literally speechless eating it. This is now our fave Kebab place in the valley. Does not disappoint and the owner and everyone there are super nice. Can't wait to come back and try their other kebabs - with all the veggies I can eat! Yum.

Very authentic and tasty Armenian cuisine. We got a platter for 5 people. All the meats where juicy and tender grilled in the front of the restaurant on a mangal charcoal grill. Definitely will be back again.

What a great little place. Everything is made fresh to order. We stopped by one day with the kids and got takeout. Everybody is very friendly there. We decided to have him cater a party for us and the food was phenomenal.They went above and beyond.

Literally the best kebab in town, I usually get the chicken kebab plate and it never fails. The chicken is beyond Juicy and flavorful, the rice is perfectly cooked the the pita is always served hot and fresh. Not only is the food off the wall but Sam and is family are always welcoming and friendly you can never go wrong with them!

Went back for more! I had the Lamb Kebab combo all for myself, this time. And, it was still mouthwatering, and the presentation was beautiful! My friend had the Rib combo and it was also delicious and beautiful! This time, we ordered & split the grilled potatoes, and they were pretty tasty. There was no strong smells or sounds this time! We had a great time and will definitely make this one of our favorite spots!

Ordered the kebab plate combo and it was really delicious! It was nice and juicy and tender it came with rice , salad, jalapeños, bbq'd tomato and some lavash! It's a new location by my house so I thought i should give it a shot and surely I wasn't disappointed! Keep it up guys I'll definitely be coming back! Delicious fresh made food grilled right in front of you! This is a gem in in the valley and I wish more people knew about it. They also cater large events, I saw a couple taking home a massive tray full of food! Please give Sam's Kebab a try!
