Sam's Place Sports Bar & Grill

I went to Sam's with a group of friends on Friday for some post work drinks and food and had a great time. It was the first time I had been since they went non-smoking, which was a big bonus! The drink specials were great, and we didn't have any problems with our server - she was attentive (but not too attentive!) Always a good option when you have a crowd.

I've been to Sam's a few times now, and have always had a pleasant experience. The food, even though it is your pretty standard bar menu, is always excellent. I would highly recommend any or the pizzas or the chicken ceasar wrap. The service has always been great and very accomodating. Even with a large group, we were taken care of very well. Plus you can't beat a 2 for 1 happy hour on a friday night! I would definitely suggest going to Sam's if your up for a relaxed but fun bar experience. I appreciate that they are smoke free, and that the music doesn't blare so loud that you have to scream into your friends ears just to have a conversation.

Sams is one of my favorite low key bars to go to around town. The food is great, beer is cheap and the servers are on top of it! You get away from the downtown hype, but can still enjoy karaoke on Friday nights, happy hour specials and good company. It's definitely one of my favorite places around town. And it's non-smoking now :) I highliy reccomend the chicken ceasar wrap, trivia outings on Wednesday night and two for one specials on Tuesdays!

Totally hot waitresses alone make this bar worth it. Fries were perfect for a group, and the burgers are ginormous. They show every football game being held at any given time on all their TV's. Overall a great sportsbar and college hangout. If the place is full expect service to be SLOW.

Sam's has always been one of my favorite places in Nashville, and now that it's non-smoking I like it even more. Great food, great service, great drinks, just an overall great atmosphere.

Pizza is pretty good if you LOVE garlic! It is so strong, don't expect to feel comfortable with you breath for at least an hour and 5 pieces of gum! Really tasty though!

Don't go there! They use bait and switch. They advertise low prices on their website for Happy Hour but do not honor them at Sam's in Hillsboro Village. It is sad that they do not have ethics.

Sportsbar with lots of TVs and different games on. Food was average (cheeseburger, chicken tenders & ceasar salad). The waitress seemed like she had a bad day!
