A "hidden gem" (at least to us) on one of the side streets off of Findlay Market, this is a really nice spot to relax, meet up with friends, and try a few really interesting brews. Even if you don't drink, or think you know Sam Adams beers, you're more than likely to find something new here to your liking.
We arrived at the tail end of what looked to be a fun community event ("most awesome beard contest!!) and found some people out on their patio, playing corn hole, Jenga, and just hanging out by the fire pit. Inside is VERY nice, with a variety of different seating options, including a window swing!! We sat at the bar at first, checking out their offerings, then grabbed a picnic table outside to enjoy a nice, warm evening. The Mr. went with a flight, and I tried the cherry wheat, which was VERY good. You'll find some of the "standard" Sam Adams offerings, along with some that you won't see elsewhere. Things were pretty relaxed around dinner time on a Sunday afternoon, but I'm sure this place is hopping during prime time hours. Didn't see too much to eat, maybe a pretzel and some cheese boards, but there are tons of great choices in the Findlay Market area.
I love the amount of work and attention to detail this and many other breweries so obviously show. It's a great neighborhood hang out, and if you're just visiting the area, a nice way to "blend in" and enjoy the local vibe!! Nice place, great service... We'll be back, hopefully soon!!
