An unexpected treasure. I casually noticed the horse outside after getting a delicious sandwich from Station USA and wondered in. Terry is the sweetest thing and so composed. The art is diverse and everything was created by women (not including the members section). The house itself is beautiful and even the bathroom has art inside. A cozy, quaint place to do some art viewing.

I've lived in San Antonio for 30 years, but just found this gem when a friend exhibited her works. It's a lovingly restored building, and I wished I'd had time to sit in front by the fountain and read. The only downside to this volunteer-run operation is the limited schedule, as I'm usually working when they're open. Looking forward to returning soon, as the art changes regularly.

This is a go to place in San Antonio if you like art and artists. It's big on painting but they also have some sculpture and even a gift shop where you can buy from the member artists it's free to go in but make a donation and then when you're finished go drive around the King William district for some architectural sites that make up one of the major places to see in San Antonio for historic architecture

I didn't know this place existed. I found it randomly when I was on Google maps browsing. I stopped in and was the first guest of the day. I was greeted by Stephanie. She was so sweet and her and I had a wonderful conversation. She gave me some pointers on where to find good watercolors and watercolor paper. The art was nice. This is something that is free and takes about twenty to thirty minutes to walk through, if you stop and examine every piece. Stephanie let me know that eventually when they start having events again, that I should bring my nieces and nephews to the studio they have. They have art activities for the kids. I'll definitely be back for that! Thanks Stephanie for your time and knowledge!

The Art League is more then a gallery, it holds a judged show every year which gets better every year. League changes exhibits on a regular basis, anyone can join but you do not have to be a member to compete in the annual judged show.

Located in the beautiful King William's historical area of San Antonio the museum curator has a great eye for display of wonderful works of art and members are able to display and sale original one of a kind pieces. Just took a class there and hope to take many more. Cudo's to them and well worth your time to visit.

The sculpture tucked throughout grounds prepares visitor for an enchanting and inviting experience to this Art Museum, located in the beautiful historic King William neighborhood. 91st Juried Artists Exhibition, within walls of this 2-story converted home, captured the eye with a variety of exceptional art.

Yelp
There are always new pieces coming in for the small works gallery and the Member's gallery. Wonderful work by our Members to enhance your home, find gifts for others, and take in first class exhibitions as well.

Yelp
We attended our niece's art showing this past Sunday. The art league is sponsoring 'Collegiate month' from March 1 to April 4. Students from the local universities were chosen to show pieces of their work. They can offer them for sale or not. Our niece chose not to sell this time. These students are so talented. Beautiful and thought-provoking items in various media. Drawings, paintings, ceramics, wood, small and large. The venue of course is a old home (in the King William area, of course). It was a bit crowded this day, so moving about was a bit difficult. That's OK. All in all, it was a very entertaining event and we should all be proud of these students and their talent on display.
