San Baylon Ristorante & Cocktail Bar

Best tiramisu ever. We came for lunch at 12 when they opened and it was pretty empty inside but got busy as we left. Reservations are still recommended. We started off with some meats and cheeses which were fabulous. My husband had the claim pasta which was very mid (way too greasy and has a strong fishy smell) and I had the steak which would’ve been good but was overcooked. I would come back just for the tiramisu though.

Looking for something to eat at 1150, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the choices. This place was listed in a popular guide, it is by several measures a typical posh restaurant hidden in a beautiful hotel. But our experience was anything but typical. First off, the food is top notch, well presented, the taste so balanced that the idea of at least one star rises in the back of your mind and at least compared to France, all solidly priced for the quality. The waitress who took care of us during our meal was exceptionally welcoming and funny, all while maintaining a certain classy detachment. At the end several staff joined in on the joking melting the otherwise distinguished ambience and making you move on with this rare sensation of leaving a friend's place behind.

We had a truly special evening here where everything – and everyone – was perfect. A heartfelt thanks to our waiter, Christian Junior, for his kind and professional service. It was our wedding day, so the evening meant a lot to us. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

San Baylon in Rome is a stunning, spacious restaurant with a gorgeous garden and rooftop terrace — perfect for a special evening out. We were warmly welcomed by our wonderful hostess Maguette, who truly made the night unforgettable. From refreshing drinks and a delicious aperitivo to a surprise honeymoon celebration cake, every detail was excellent. Maguette even shared some fantastic travel tips with us! A perfect mix of hospitality, ambiance, and culinary delight. Highly recommended!

Nice classy athmosphere - with a well balanced menu. As highlights the Guinea Fowl was superb and the sommelier's recommendation was spot on !

Very overrated. Service is very slow. From being seated to getting our appetizer was about 50mins. The food itself is average. Some dishes are well presented but don’t taste that great. They show the Michelin name but they aren’t a Michelin star restaurant so don’t be fooled there. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

First we had an amazing cocktail at the bar. Eduardo made a perfect suggestion. He was extremly kind and had a great knowledge of cocktails. We received also some olives and almonds, both delicious👌 Afterwards we went for a dinner to the restaurant. Our waiter was Simon. He was knew what he was doing. Suggested the perfect wine for our dinner. He was very kind and funny. He served us some amazing dishes. Unfortunately we didn’t make so may fotos. All in all an unforgettable evening. Thank you again, we will come back one day:)

Super friendly and welcoming staff and gorgeous decor. Everything we ordered was great especially the beef in the last pic. Also grilled veggies are perfect. This is beyond “side dish”.
