My wife and I had a truly fantastic experience when we popped into San Carlo on Regent Street for a quick bite. The restaurant looked amazing , a high-energy feeling that avoided being stuffy. We knew we were in the right place the moment we saw a beautiful Brunello on the wine list, confirming their commitment to quality—though we skipped the bottle for our quick visit.
We started with two dishes: the Beef Carpaccio was melt-in-mouth tender, and the Burrata with Tomatoes was creamy and fresh. Right as I ordered the appetizers, we saw the Beef Cheeks on the menu. We figured, why not? We ordered them and those Beef Cheeks brought me right back to Florence, Italy—they were star of the meal. We only have one word to describe the dish -SPECTACULAR!
The restaurant operates at a high-end level, the quality of the food and the excellent service from the hostess to waitstaff along with the manager made our entire experience fantastic.
