San Carlo - London

Last night marked my third visit to San Carlo Restaurant, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and the freshness of the ingredients truly stood out. It’s consistently a delightful dining destination.

A restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine, offering a wide variety of pizza and pasta. It’s located right in front of Harrods, in the heart of London. Popular among tourists who want to enjoy authentic Italian food. Service outside the restaurant can be a bit slow, but inside it’s good. I recommend trying the food.

I had a decent time here. However not sure who the server was, he was very rude to me. He had a bald head and was in charge of our party on Sept 3 2025 by 7pm. He packed my plate before I finished WITHOUT asking me if I was done. When I mentioned, he refused to apologize and just shrugged his head. It took my host telling him again for him to come apologize. The pasta wasn’t well done and the lighting was poor. Lovely decor though.

It is a such cosy restaurant just at the corner of Regent street. The food was great especially the signature lobster spaghetti! And must mention this: all of the staff are super welcoming from the moment entering the restaurant, which made the experience even greater!

Fantastic restaurant and service and they made a fuss of my daughter for her birthday bringing out a desert on the house and all singing Happy Birthday. We shared mussels to start which were delicious and then we both had the crab pasta which was unbelievable. We will definitely return and want to thank all the staff for their kind hospitality.

My wife and I had a truly fantastic experience when we popped into San Carlo on Regent Street for a quick bite. The restaurant looked amazing , a high-energy feeling that avoided being stuffy. We knew we were in the right place the moment we saw a beautiful Brunello on the wine list, confirming their commitment to quality—though we skipped the bottle for our quick visit. We started with two dishes: the Beef Carpaccio was melt-in-mouth tender, and the Burrata with Tomatoes was creamy and fresh. Right as I ordered the appetizers, we saw the Beef Cheeks on the menu. We figured, why not? We ordered them and those Beef Cheeks brought me right back to Florence, Italy—they were star of the meal. We only have one word to describe the dish -SPECTACULAR! The restaurant operates at a high-end level, the quality of the food and the excellent service from the hostess to waitstaff along with the manager made our entire experience fantastic.

Sure i like more in Riyadh , But this is my fav restaurant and it was very good in London also, I celebrated my birthday with my friends while i am in london

We had an absolutely amazing experience at San Carlo! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was exceptional. The food was outstanding — every dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic Italian flavour. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into everything. San Carlo never disappoints, and thanks to Giovanni’s impeccable service, this visit was truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-class Italian dining!
