SD Made — and the incredible women behind this space — THANK YOU for all you do. I love a multi‑purpose, women‑owned space that genuinely cares about the community and provides real resources and support for local creatives. This place does all of that and more. I first discovered SD Made when I booked a scent‑making session with an artist who had her storefront/studio inside the warehouse. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to learn more. That’s when I found out they host events, offer coworking spaces, conference rooms, podcast rooms, and rentable studios for artists and creatives of all kinds. I knew immediately this was the perfect coworking space for me as I stepped into my next career chapter. Their pricing is reasonable, the amenities are great, and the people are cool, like‑minded, and welcoming. It’s a laid‑back coworking environment — something surprisingly hard to find in San Diego. Even though I no longer rent a coworking space, I stay connected through their local events and by supporting the artists and creatives who work there. I now come here to buy ceramics, candles, scents, and other beautiful goods. Whether you’re a community member looking for fun, free local events, an artist searching for a studio, someone needing a coworking space, or a person wanting to host an event — this space is amazing. My husband and I loved using the San Diego Made factory as our wedding reception venue. The space itself is beautiful and makes for an easy backdrop to make your own. Sarah the event coordinator was responsive and so lovely to work with. The tables, lounge furniture, and plant walls were included in the rental and made it easy to fit our vision. We were even able to come in early and set up. It made for such a special, seamless, and stress-free event.

My wife and I just had the most spectacular New Year’s Eve wedding at San Diego Made Factory. Sara was our wedding coordinator, and from beginning to end she handled everything with such care, professionalism, and genuine kindness. She brought a calm, reassuring presence to the entire day and went far above and beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. The venue looked absolutely amazing, and every detail was thoughtfully attended to. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing—Sara had everything completely under control, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue or about Sara. She didn’t just help coordinate our wedding—she made it. It was absolutely everything we dreamed of and so much more. I rented the coworking space for 3 years and it was exactly what I needed! The ladies who founded SDMF are awesome, prompt, reliable and efficient anytime I needed something while being a tenant. The 24/7 access was clutch for me and my schedule. The podcast rooms were great for me to get my creative space and work. It was also great to meet other creative/innovative people. They have created a great place for people like us to explore our passions and work on our crafts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SDMF!!!

We hosted our corporate Christmas party at this venue . The experience was outstanding from start to finish. Sara the manager was a pleasure to work with. We communicated regularly and she responded promptly to any inquiries and accommodated all requests. The day of she was physically available and hands on start to finish.

We had an absolute blast having our wedding reception at San Diego Made Factory. We could not have asked for a more perfect space or a better and more accommodating team. The San Diego Made Facotory was the PERFECT place for our intimate wedding reception. The staff on site and throughout the process were very helpful, efficient, respectful, understanding, and beyond our expectations. They were very easy going when small changes and hickups came up along the way and gave spectacular recommendations for vendors and ideas. Not the mention the bartender that is in-house for their events was more than excelent! The drinks were consistently made to perfection, he was easy to converse with, gave great suggestions to other drink creations, and there was never a line. As someone who planned and facilitated our entire wedding, I highly recommend considering this location for a reception or any event really as they are people I'd happily work with again and again!

San Diego Made Factory is such a beautiful space and really enjoyed planning my clients event there. Sara and Gustavo were so helpful throughout the entire process and Justin was a killer bartender! Would definitely plan another event with them again. Thank you!!!

We had a brunch baby shower on a Saturday morning. There were about 65-70 guests and no one had issues with parking! The space is large, and we brought our own grill and prepared food. I love that the space was already very cute and we didn't feel we needed many more decorations. Sara and her crew were so accommodating. We spent about 1.5 hours for setup (we did a diy balloon arch so if we didn't we would have only needed less than an hour to set up) and 30 to take everything down. They helped us get out on time and quickly refunded our deposit. We got so many compliments on finding such a great spot. I will use this space again for other parties. The price is great for all that is included and how customizable it can be depending on your budget. Many other places require you to use their vendors only and it was hard to find a spot that could accommodate more than 50 guests. Thank you for letting us have our dream baby shower at San Diego Made!

Attended an event here where we rented out the main space. It's very large and open. A good amount of tables and areas for various activities. We were able to have a food truck serving food on one side of the building. The only downside is that it ended up being pretty cold since the space doesn't have any heating.

SD Made was a gorgeous Coworking space that I was able to use via Deskpass (service facilitated through my employer). I wanted to work in a fresh space for some much needed focus. This plaec did the job! (Although I couldn't focus myfirst time there since I was looking around like a kid in a candy store.) This place is special. Business owners, creatives, event planners, you name it. Everyone needs to check it out. ONLY con: parking.

I hosted my sister's baby shower at San Diego Made Factory and had such a lovely experience! Would absolutely recommend hosting your next event here. The space is gorgeous and they already had all of the equipment (e.g., tables, chairs, coolers, decor, speakers, etc.) that we could ever need. I worked with Sara mostly and she was such a huge help. From the initial contact, to meeting in person and seeing the space, to the contract phase, to the day of the event, everything went so smooth! I also brought in my own drinks and a food truck and that was extremely easy too. Again, I would HIGHLY recommend renting this for any event you may have!

This place is amazing! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but Gustavo, who was there to help us out that evening made sure I never spent time doing things that he could help with. The Atmosphere in the venue is light and energetics, there are lots of plants, and beautiful string lighting across the ceiling. We use the sound system for our awards and even sang a little karaoke at the end of the night. They had a great set up for our cool drinks and plenty of space for all of our guests and our catered buffet. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our end of season banquet! Great venue, we used it for my dads 65th birthday and it was perfect. They are very accommodating and helpful. The venue was more than enough space and there is tons of street parking. We will definitely be back.

San Diego Made is one of my favorite new spots in San Diego. What a beautiful with magnificent ceilings, clean and stylistic architecture with a real dynamic quality for all kinds of events. I rented it for my company's anniversary party and Sarah and the SD Made team are all outstanding! From start to finish they delivered high quality communication, flexibility, reliability and it was a great overall experience. I definitely will be going back to them for future event rental needs and it is super easy to recommend them!

When I first moved to San Diego in July, I was looking for a coworking space to have a dedicated workspace while working remote. From my very first request for a tour all throughout my 6 months working there, I've had nothing but an amazing experience. The space is warm, inspiring, and full of creative, thoughtful and kind artisans and professionals. If you're looking for a coworking space on San Diego, you can't beat the rates, central location and good vibes of San Diego Made Factory!

I've been a Factory coworking member for about a year now and signing up was one of the best decisions! I love the energy and the culture at the Factory. Everyone who works and creates here is friendly, interesting, and inspiring. I also appreciate that we get to use the conference room and private call rooms for free as long as they're free. After searching around and touring other local coworking spaces, The SDM Factory is by far the best in terms of culture and price. If you're looking for a fun, creative, supportive coworking space, look no further!!

I hosted a 6-day training here in March and it was wonderful! The staff is amazing!!! Sam and Kristin were extremely helpful, attentive and kind. I was initially going to use their conference room but after considering the space and amount of students I had, they recommended I use part of their event space which worked out perfect! All the natural plants throughout the building are gorgeous! My students loved coming here every day for our training and so did I. The only thing I was a bit worried about was parking but it was not a problem at all!

I rented a semi-private desk here for several months and it was wonderful! It is such a creative space with kind people. I looked at several co-working spaces in the San Diego area and this was one of the only spaces I felt was welcoming and not 'corporate'. The only reason I no longer rent a space here is that I am moving next month, but I would highly recommend it.

I am so happy I found and was able to hold my mother's retirement party at San Diego Made. Samantha, the Event Coordinator, did a phenomenal job helping me throughout the whole process. I especially appreciated that she was able to accommodate without me being there as I live in Las Vegas and was not able to see the venue prior to the event. I dropped off the decor with Kristin on the day of the party. At that time, she walked me through the layout and ensured everything would be in order for the time of the party. When I arrived, I was absolutely speechless on how beautiful the set up and decor were. Their attention to detail on all the things I requested was spectacular. They heard my vision for the party and made it come to life. I cannot thank San Diego Made enough on how nice and supportive they were. I will definitely be using San Diego Made for all of my future events.

Beautiful and quiet creative space for makers! I'm a freelance illustrator and needed a place to work during the summer when my home studio gets too hot to work in. I rented a semi private desk at the Factory and loved it! The co-working space is air conditioned, has lovely natural light, lots of amenities (including a private conference room, kitchen, lockers, free coffee and tea), and a wonderful community of other creatives. I ended up meeting another designer who became a very dear friend! I also enjoyed the option of being able to have a safe and secure stationary desk that I could leave my 34 inch desktop computer and painting supplies. I would highly recommend working there!

This review is about the shared work space. Lowest cost among all shared work spaces I looked at and highest return for the money. The space itself has plenty of light. Internet speed is professional grade. Plenty of street parking which is very important to me (not apologizing for my carbon footprint.) Cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Feels very safe no matter what hour your come in or leave as private security patrols the neighborhood. There is diversity among the tenants. You will find people here who are creative and nice. Kristen, Sarah and Brook are constantly looking to improve the space. Signing up with San Diego Made means you would be supporting the local artist community too. How cool is that?
