"Walk into San Francisco Wine & Cheese and you’re immediately surrounded by stacks of wine so high you might need a ladder to get them down—this Hayes Valley bottle shop has no shortage of variety, though most of the wines are either local or imported from France and Italy. But this place is also home to a fantastic hidden patio. Snake your way through the walls of wine and you’ll find the covered, heated back garden, complete with tables, enough plants to rival the Conservatory of Flowers, and loaded sandwiches or charcuterie to snack on. Head in for some pre-dinner brie, share a prosciutto sandwich and chardonnay before a show nearby, or visit any time you want to experience the great outdoors with a glass of wine. " - julia chen 1, patrick wong, lani conway

The sandwich, cheese platter, and wine selection here is exceptional. Shirley’s extensive knowledge and kind demeanor made me feel immediately welcomed. My only regret is not having discovered SF Wine and Cheese sooner. I’ll be sure to I’ll visit more often now and support this local establishment.

Google
We came here for a tasting and a charcuterie and it did not disappoint! We also tried the sandwich, absolutely delicious. The owner, Shirley, has been in the industry for 27 years and told us a small history about the place! She really gives each table a unique and special experience. She shared so much about different wines and cheeses. I will be back very soon and for sure be recommending everyone to come here. You must visit if you love wine, cheese, and great vibes. Thank you for such a great evening! 10/10 experience

Google
San Francisco Wine and Cheese is an absolute gem! My husband and I stumbled upon this delightful spot during our weekend getaway, and it quickly became the highlight of our trip. The selection of wines and cheeses is impressive, and the owner was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations. We were able to curate the perfect picnic for Alamo Square, complete with delicious pairings that made our afternoon truly special. The atmosphere is charming and inviting, making it a fantastic place to explore and discover new flavors. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by San Francisco Wine and Cheese. It’s the perfect pit stop for anyone looking to elevate their picnic experience! We can’t wait to come back!

I’m so happy to have recently discovered SF Wine & Cheese! I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the space is, especially with the cozy back patio seating—it’s such a gem. Shirley is absolutely amazing and so personable. Truly the best customer service! During my first visit, I tried the wine sample and cheese board, and I was not disappointed—it was perfect. Since then, I’ve been back plenty of times, whether it’s for their delicious sandwiches or their special events. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend checking out SF Wine & Cheese. It’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city!

Coming here is the highlight of my SF trip every time!! Shirley is the absolute sweetest and will take care of you. I’ve enjoyed every board and wine tasting she’s created! 100/10☺️

Google
A charming shop tucked away with a large cheese + meat selection and even larger wine selection. Everything was delicious! The husband and wife duo were very sweet and we had a lovely time. She made sure we had a taste of the wines that we had chosen before given us a generous pour. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

Google
Celebrated my birthday here, best charcuterie boards. Get to customize your wine tasting as well as your entire board, so worth it. Highly recommend, super cute and super nice owners

Google
A gem I went to San Francisco for 5 days and I was craving for a good charcuterie. Went to this place which is not really in the touristic area and WOW! What a place! You can choose your cheeses and meats and your charcuterie board is made fresh in the moment and it has a big variety! Shirley is the owner and she’s always there! She’s so helpful and friendly, the great meal we had was mostly because of her. I went to her place once and after that went again the next day cause the food and environment were so good. Definetely would recommend this place ❤️ Cant wait to go again to San Francisco just to go eat a good charcuterie with good people!

Yelp
Love this place. Ring the doorbell at the unassuming entrance on Gough Street and enter into a world of delights, starting with the owner Shirley's warmth and knowledge. Great place to get some gifts or picnic accoutrements, or to get a sandwich, my fave being the Turkey Cranberry Brie on soft roll, but if baguette is your thing, they have that too. There's a nice collection of loose leaf teas, even one that's picked by monkeys, that Shirley curates. Then of course the back patio and the stinky fridge of cured meats and funky cheeses. Very San Francisco, keep the vibe alive, keep supporting mom and pop type establishments!

Yelp
You would never guess such a charming little patio is hidden within this wine shop that is nondescript on the outside. This kept coming up as a top rated happy hour spot for the area and we remained doubtful even once we stepped through the door. Fortunately, we were warmly greeted, quickly seated and served to make happy hour and feel relaxed about our timing to the opera afterward. I wish we were able to get more charcuterie and cheese to snack on in the time that we had, but the selection was delicious. I love red wine and it takes a lot to convince me to switch it up, but the sangria was a sleeper hit. I'm so glad to have found the excellent stop before a show anywhere in the area.

Eugy H.

Yelp
This place truly is a hidden gem You can pick your own wine bottle from a wide array of options (or do a tasting, choose from a menu, or ask the owner for recs if you have wines you already know you like). You can also make your own charcuterie board by choosing cheeses and meats (which also come with fruits and bread)! We really liked the customizability of everything. The vibes are also 10/10 with chill music playing in the background as you enjoy the wine with your friends/family. It feels like a secret, cozy garden tucked away in a hustling bustling city. The owner was also very sweet and made us feel very welcome and comfortable! She gave us some slices of peach pie that she had made. Highly recommend coming here to wind down, chat, and enjoy some good wine.

Veronica M.

Yelp
I quite literally never write reviews but this place is so good I had to. The wine selection is amazing. Great cheeses and meats for a charcuterie moment or a sandwich. Really friendly owners with a back patio. I will continue to go back as much as possible!

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Super cute hole-in-the-wall wine shop with a cozy food area in the back. Incredible value esp during happy hour -- I especially love the triple cream they serve, and the wine is always a delightful pairing. The Chinese couple that runs it are super friendly and helpful too, it's got a great neighborhood vibe and this place is an absolute gem.

Sophie T.

Yelp
This is such a cute hidden gem in SF! I absolutely loved the owner, drinks, and food! From the outside, it might look closed but you just have to knock and they'll let you in. There's only a few tables inside, which makes it a very cute and intimate setting - perfect for a date or with friends! They have a 3 set tester or 4 set tester. Each of us got a set, and 3 of us split two cheese / meat plates. The cheese was so delicious - we even ordered it for home! It was perfectly paired with the wine. They were so sweet here that they gave us each an extra glass of dessert wine and 2 slices of cake to share! The mango cake was absolutely delicious and perfectly ended the wine tasting. I would highly recommend!!! And will definitely be taking my friends to come here!

Theresa R.

Yelp
I had a meeting with colleagues at this trippy little hidden gem of a wine shop. It was easy to miss since it just looks like a typical, small, neighborhood store front and not a hidden wine and cheese meeting place! There was an amazing array of wines and cheeses down a long and narrow corridor of a store. At the very back is an oasis garden with tables and chairs to sip, eat and talk. I loved it and am eager to go back. Check it out.

Katherine S.

Yelp
Amazing cheese selection and all sorts of additional treats to make an amazing platter. Great wine selection, too! The staff is quite passionate and knowledgeable. There is a dining area out back, but I have never been. The market area is crowded int the right kind of way: full of good amazing delicacies. The cheese cave is to the back, on the right. This is a much more exciting shop than most of the other "gourmet" places in the neighborhood.

Noel A.

Yelp
Great gourmet food and wine shop invites you in with its charming ambiance. My husband and I enjoyed a delightful flight of wines on the back patio, along with a scrumptious Charcuterie Plate. They also serve sandwiches so we look forward to trying one next time. Shirley, our friendly host and owner, helped us navigate the wine selection, which featured an impressive variety from around the globe and locally. Her and her husband own the shop and you can tell a lot of love goes into running their small business. This place is perfect for a romantic date or a casual hangout with friends. And if you're flying solo, don't worry; the peaceful patio provides the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon. Whether you're with company or enjoying your own company, this spot promises a memorable experience.

Yelp
Got delivery of a terrific charcuterie box; looked gorgeous and tasted delicious. Even with all the delivery fees, well worth the cost, Look forward to going in person,

Jimmy C.

Yelp
My ex-wife used to tell me this, "You eat the cheese; don't say a word!". She once thinks that my breath will stink every time I eat the block of cheese. There's nothing wrong with that. Perhaps there were certain people in this world who barely handle the aroma of whatever cheese I'm eating. Me, I'm capable of trying different types of cheese, so that I take the pleasure to find the best ones that are worth my time. There's no better cheese shop than the one considered a hidden gem in Gough st. Seriously, I had to wait for the cheese shop owner to open the door for me after I rang the bell. All I could see in such a space was some kitchenware, charcuterie, and rows of wine on the further back. On the left side next to the wine section was called La Fromagerie. Inside was the cheese cave. But beware of its temperature. It's like walking inside the fridge (minus the freezer). I could barely choose which was a much better cheese. Therefore, I chose the raw sheep's milk blue cheese, since it's one of the most popular. Seeing many different cheeses, their price depends on the size of the shortcake. I'll probably swing by once again to buy a different block of cheese I'm willing to try. Almost all types of different cheeses from various European countries makes SF's small business cheese shop worth visiting.

Michelle A.

Yelp
What a delightful place to buy great wine and sit on the patio to enjoy. The music was great, the selection of wine outstanding. I will come back for some food as the cheese looked top notch. It looks a bit dodgy from the door, but it is worth the wait to get buzzed in and enjoy the hidden gem.

Louise H.

Yelp
We did the wine tasting menu and it was lovely. 3 glasses for $20 is such great value! The sweet lady running the place helped us out and explained all the options. We loved her!! The patio in the back was cute and a great place to sit and chat. We came in the early afternoon on a Friday so it was not too busy. We'll definitely be returning!

Rizzabel N.

Yelp
Such an amazing hidden gem Appreciate the cozy and welcoming space and all they offer, got a delicious wine tasting flight and cheeseboard with great service! Vibes are 11/10 here and Shirley is truly the sweetest & love the energy she brings to this space. Thank you for the yummy slice of cheesecake as well!! So excited to come back and continue to support this local business

Jenny W.

Yelp
This is a charming neighborhood treasure. The owners are friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I love seeing friends' faces after they get buzzed in, walk through the shop, and come to the covered back patio! It's like they made it through the bodega looking glass. This is a great places for meeting up with friends after work. And this spot isn't *just* for wine. Their selection of teas is highest quality and excellent, served in beautiful classic teapots. Fresh made sandwiches with all the options. And so many other deli treats! I took marcona almonds and dried apricots home with me from my last working lunch there.

Jake A.

Yelp
Partner and I were looking for a "really good deli or sandwich shop" and there isn't much within walking distance in the area... but we stumbled upon this wine and cheese shop. I figured they wouldn't serve lunch here but I read the yelp reviews about the sandwiches so we decided to give it a try. What an awesome small business! The sandwiches were SO GOOD. Really good bread, definitely didn't skimp on the meat. In fact, we each only ate half and the rest is in the fridge for later. Sandwiches were about $15 (not bad at all) and we just HAD to get a glass of wine (about $12, also not bad at all). Wine was also very good. The back patio was a surprising little hideaway full of plants. Felt like we were eating in a garden. The place is small and only has a few tables but I think I found my new sandwich spot. OH and, this is definitely a great date spot. They have a menu of different charcuterie plates and wine tasting options. The music they played gave it a nice ambiance. Awesome little gem in the middle of Hayes Valley!

Rigoberto O.

Yelp
Shirley and her husband are a treasure in the Hayes Valley neighborhood. From the outside, SF Wine and Cheese is an unpresuming storefront. Ring the bell and you'll enter a beautiful wine shop and a backyard patio that transports you to a peaceful place where you forget your worries. Shirley and her husband will make you feel at home!

Miss P.

Yelp
I almost want to not review San Fransisco Wine & Cheese so this hidden gem stays hidden! Shirley and team take great care with every aspect of the experience here. The selection is both deep and broad, not just for cheese and wine but for little nibbles, chocolate, gelato, and other delicacies. The special events here are also not to be missed. We did a sake and cheese pairing that was well-informed without being pretentious. We had more than enough food and rounded out the night with homemade mooncake and tea. A visit here feels like stepping into a friend's home where they share their best treats with you. The outdoor patio is a lovely quiet spot for a libation and feels like a French speakeasy.

Raquel R.

Yelp
My partner and I came here and were really happy with the service and price! We did a wine tasting of 3 wines for 20 each. The charcuterie board we were able to choose from 3 meats, 3 cheeses, and came with fruit and bread! They are very attentive and have a cute patio! We will definitely be returning.

Kaje Y.

Yelp
Cute little spot and could be hard to miss. + Excellent service by a sweet lady + Charcuterie boards are tasty + Great selection of wines from many many regions + Some snack to pick up if you want to go picnic too Overall, a great place to stop by and check out.

Julci A.

Yelp
This place is such a gem. Large selection of wine and cheese for affordable prices. Everything is customizable and they will happily ask you about your preferences and give recommendations based on your taste palate. Such a friendly, wonderful experience, even giving us free dessert treats at the end sometimes! The pours are also quite generous (the flight of 4 was a LOT). The patio is also so cute and perfect for dates. It's a quaint space - there isn't much room, but it's never full when we've visited (usually around 5-6 pm on weekdays).

Candace R.

Yelp
I was finishing getting my nails done at Silk and while I usually go to the corner spot for a meal, I yelped what was nearby and this spot came up, which had not been on my radar previously. A sweet lady let me in at the front and directed me to the back patio for dine-in, which is cutely decorated and light. I'm a sucker for anything with prosciutto so I had the prosciutto sandwich and a glass of sauv blanc. The sandwich was very good, the ingredients clearly fresh, and I enjoyed the wine too. I would have loved to stay longer for a coffee but I had a show to get to but I'd love to come back for another meal and to check out the shop.

Matthew F.

Yelp
Shirley is a great host and picks high quality wine and food items at a variety of price points. The back area is a nice place to meet up with a friend.

Howard S.

Yelp
An absolute hidden gem. Try a wine flight -- their selection and curation are first rate.

Neeketa S.

Yelp
**Vegetarian Friendly** This is a locally owned business, with a MASSIVE selection of wine and cheese from around the world. We did the wine tasting menu paired with cheese. The wine pours were very generous, and there was no skimping on the cheese portions! The owner curated a tasting based on our palette preferences. There is also a sandwich menu if you're interested, however most people were there for a wine and cheese. They also make charcuterie boards and gift baskets! I especially loved all of the science related cookbooks, which made for a fun afternoon.

Avneet P.

Yelp
Stopped by for a drink and some snacks and the place is in a really good location! Free parking up the street so that was nice too. The wine was really good and the cheese plate and charcuterie were a good snack! The bartenders were so kind and patient! I would definitely go back and highly recommend for a date or to just grab a drink with a friend!

Dawn A.

Yelp
Came here with a larger group (8-10 people) on a Saturday afternoon. Their back patio was cute, but pretty crowded so I don't recommend it for a group. I enjoyed going into the room to pick out the meat and cheeses for the charcuterie board, and the decor of the whole place was very cute. The wine selection was great. I ended up sharing a rose with my group. Enjoyed my visit but would definitely recommend only going with 1-2 people.

ronda a.

Yelp
Awesome neighborhood spot. Shirley is the best! How she remembers everyone's name is a gift. Excellent service and adorable & cozy back patio. Pours are generous. Cheers

Marc M.

Yelp
Ten stars!! Where to begin. This place is a gem. The owners Shirley and Wei are incredibly personable hosts. Shirley really knows her stuff. We ordered a charcuterie plate with two meats and two cheeses but had I known it was going to be this bomb I would have ordered the 3 X 3. Everything on the plate was fresh and the selection of fruit was sweet and most perfect. You can tell Shirley knows how to source her fruit. We chose the spicy Calabrés salami and Terma di Sierna meats and it was amazing! We paired it with a cheddar and soft, creamy bre Shirley brought us. Again, fresh and perfect. Shirley cuts the meats and cheese from the blocks on order and never pre-prepared. I cant emphasize enough the freshness of the servings. So now the wine. We had the locally sourced Napa selection of sauvignon blanc, cabernet, and pinot. All were really good. Shirley turned us on to an Argentinian Malbec of which we ended up taking three bottles. She also recommended a French GSM blend. I took two bottles of that one. She also sold us a 2015 Cab for what I can only describe as a steal. For the price it was a no brainer. Great wine at a totally affordable price! I will come back to this place every time I'm in SF. If you're looking for an absolutely great place to hang with friends, taste wine, exceptional charcuterie plates, and great ambiance, maybe even learn a thing or two about wine, meat, and cheese, this is a great little spot to hang out.

Sunshine B.

Yelp
1st time. I made a phone order for 3 Cheese & 2 Meat for $50. Everything was well done, my friend loved it & it was the perfect snack for two. It also came with an entire box of warm bread. I also got their veggie/vegan sandwich but I added avocado & turkey . . . It was a banger, fresh & freakin' delicious! Only thing I'd change about the sandwich is I'd prefer softer bread. I'm picky as all get out & I always have to add seasonings & other condiments to complete a sandwich but not this one! There's no picture of the sandwich because I ate it. Thanks Shirley!

Ione A.

Yelp
Had the whole patio to ourselves on a Friday night! This cute spot is the definition of hidden gem! From the outside it just looks like a little market but there is an entire back patio where you can enjoy your wine. The owners are very nice and welcoming as well. A good spot to come and have a few glasses of wine with some friends!

Katie ..

Yelp
Shirley, who is a delight to work with, has assembled many fresh food baskets for us - the baskets are beautiful and she has many choices of things to put in them - great cheese and crackers, delicious meats and many sweet treats, plus gelato! I am sending baskets to families with children so I've never added wine but I can see she has a great selection.

Namisa S.

Yelp
I never write reviews, but SF wine and cheese is a hidden gem. THE BEST CHEESE EVER!!! Shirley has impeccable taste, not the mention the best imported tea. Food and sandwiches are also to die for. Service makes you feel right at home. The back patio is filled with luscious plants that give a nice freshness to the ambiance. Came here with my boyfriend for Valentines, we couldn't be happier.

Patty F.

Yelp
Wonderful, unusual shop. Excellent wine selection, beautiful teas. We really enjoyed the shop owner too.

Yvi L.

Yelp
This place is truly a San Francisco delight. We had the fortune of being invited here for a dear friend's birthday. At first we were curious when we arrived as it was doorbell - buzz entry, and appeared to be a tiny grocery shop for meats/cheeses. When led to the back of the shop, there was a wonderful patio lit with warm string lights. Our group enjoyed a few charcuterie boards. The owner spoke with us and is such a lovely person! Very knowledgeable in her wine and cheese pairings. Would love to come visit here again especially with other friend groups. Perfect for a small family gathering or girls' night!

Gordon L.

Yelp
Hidden gem. Amazing selection of wines with great pairings of food. Hidden back room green house. My new go to place for chill fun

D S.

Yelp
While strolling through Hayes Valley we decided to stop in at San Francisco Wine and Cheese. The store is efficiently managed by Shirley who clearly has fine palette for tea, wines, and charcuterie plates. We placed a generic order of red wine flight with cheese. Even though it was very busy Shirley arrived shortly with a flight of wine with tasty cheese. It was clear everyone was enjoying themselves. Before departing we picked up a bottle of wine and cheese to go. Such a wonderful gem for the neighborhood. Thank you!

TJ H.

Yelp
Hidden neighborhood gem. Amazing selection. The proprietors are amazing people. The wine selections, cheese options and fresh cut meats are some of the best in the city.

Anne Marie M.

Yelp
Amazingly decadent and tasty Wine gift baskekt was ordered by my sister in NJ & delivered to me here in SF. My specific wine preferences were requested & tastily met along with DELISH Cheeses, cured meats & this mind-blowing Rose Petal Confit. My sister said the ordering process was pleasant & helpful. They sent her photos before they wrapped it up. They texted me before they delivered to make sure I was home & the wine was still chilled when it arrived. I am bookmarking for future personal & business use.

Katrina U.

Yelp
My friends and I visited around noon on a Saturday and had a delightful experience--highly recommend! At a first glance, you might miss the storefront. Very much the definition of a whole-in-the-wall place, you could easily walk right past it. You need to ring the bell, and then you will be allowed inside. Not sure if this is a pandemic or security measure. Inside, the shop is long and narrow. In the very back of the store is a really cute outdoor-ish, quaint patio. This is where we enjoyed our meal. To reach the patio, you'll have to walk buy a restroom and impressive temperature controlled cheese room. The woman who owns the shop is truly an expert in all things wine and cheese. My friends and I asked her for recommendations and truly appreciated and enjoyed all of them. We told her what we liked and didn't like and she recommended meats and cheese for our platter and a wine to pair it with. The wonderful platter she setup accounted for all of our preferences. There were no cheese that were "too funky" for our liking. And we discovered a new kind of cheese, "le fromage," which has become one of our favorites and our go-to in place of brie. The platter also had fruit, some hard and soft cheeses, some salami, some nuts, and bread. She paired the platter with a wonderful red wine that accommodated all our different drinking preferences. Would definitely recommend! Between her wisdom and the food, you can't beat it! Love helping small businesses too!

Annie L.

Yelp
Shirley is the sweetest lady ever. It's her friendly personality and delicious sandwiches that keep me coming back here. I discovered this place the summer before COVID and was happy to learn that barely anything has changed about it since the pandemic :) My boyfriend ordered the Italian prosciutto sandwich and I got the strawberry prosciutto. Both had fresh mozzarella, which I love. Another favorite sandwich of mine is the Frenchie. We were the only two in the store at the time so we had the back patio to ourselves. It was really clean and the layout was so cute. The water glasses are repurposed glass cups and jars! Everything about this place is thoughtful and adorable. I cannot gush enough. I recommend this place to everyone I can bring it up in conversation with! It's one of my favorite spots in Hayes Valley as well as one of my favorite hole-in-the-walls in the city.

Isabelle P.

Yelp
This place was fantastic! I had a last minute request for a charcuterie board, for a birthday party, and they answered my call with enthusiasm ! The lady who runs the shop helped create a beautiful board for me with some lovely cheeses, mouth-watering smoked salami varieties, and a bottle of red wine. She supplied all the plates and utensils as well as made a travel case for the board. If you ever need a last minute charcuterie fix, this is the place to go!

Lucy J.

Yelp
I was looking for a charcuterie plate with wine to send to my family in SF (last minute for the holidays) and stumbled across SF wine and cheese. Shirley hopped on the phone with me and helped me arrange a 3 cheese + 3 meats plate with a recommended pairing of wine! Great service and presentation, I highly recommend ordering from here!

susan c.

Yelp
Strange environment Good place to pick up picnic items but not to have a glass of wine. The woman offered me "red" or "white"... in a WINE shop!

Angel L.

Yelp
Shirley is super friendly, welcoming, and kind. At one point, she owned 4 different wine/cheese shops in Berkeley/SF/El Cerrito areas and has now shifted to only managing SF Wine and Cheese. She has been running this type of business for at least a decade. From outside you couldn't tell there is such a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy some wine and cheese. There is a wide selection of wine, cheese, crackers, and many other miscellaneous items. Prices are definitely affordable and reasonable especially for the SF area so I really cannot recommend this place more. Support local!!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
This place is awesome, such a hidden gem! I almost don't want to write a review to keep it secret but they deserve it! Ring the bell speakeasy style to get in, small little one alleyway store with affordable local artisan and imported goods like snacks, spices, gelato, bread, cheese, wine. Little courtyard in the back with 4 or so small tables (dog friendly!) where you can sit and wine taste a set of wines or buy a bottle from their impressive selection to enjoy at retail price. They do cheese plates and some other small pairing plates, she also has a great selection of cheeses and is extremely knowledgeable about what pairs well together. They have a walk in cooler where you can see the champagnes and other cooled wines, as well as cheese selection. She's been there for 20+ years and is very friendly! Family run business looks like. Would highly recommend this really cool spot!

Nile M.

Yelp
Amazing little place! The front of the store sells wine and cheeses, but if you venture into the back, you enter a hidden gem of well lit and a peaceful area that's perfect for relaxing to eat some yummy charcuterie and wine. The prices are extremely affordable, and there's a huge selection of wines, cheeses, and other bites to choose from! Shirley, the owner, was so nice and made great conversation! I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Sonali L.

Yelp
Such a cute shop with a cute, and colorful back patio! They have a great happy hour tues-fri 3-5pm. For $15 you get one glass of house wine and cheese, with the option to add on meat for $4. The owners were super nice and we ended up ordering a bottle after happy hour and they gave us some delicious truffle cheese to try!

Judy S.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening, the place was mildly busy but didn't feel packed. Got a glass of wine and a meat and cheese plate and ate in the patio. The patio is so cute and feels like you're outside without the cold windy nonsense of actually being outside. Their cheese selection was great and you can sample all of them. The owners are very nice and attentive. The sandwiches look good and affordable, can't wait to come back and try them. This is 4 stars not 5 stars because throughout the time I was in the patio, something smelled like homeless person. The quintessential sf homeless person smell. I could not pinpoint where it came from but I would get hints of it every couple minutes and it disrupted my experience.
