"From animal-shaped cups to smoked drinks, San Mareé’s list offers everything from classic Mexican coffee carajillos to unique cocktails like the Mareé 2.0 made with cucumber mezcal and passionfruit. If you’re still undecided, ask for the dealer’s choice and prepare to be surprised." - Roxana Becerril

"Opening this spring in Tijuana’s Colonia Neidhardt, San Marée will pay homage to coastal Baja California through its menu and architecture. I note it will offer diners contemporary, Baja-style seafood dishes using high-quality products sourced from Baja California’s waters on the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. The menu was designed by renowned chef and Tijuana native Mario Peralta, co-founder of Los Compas and an alum of Mission 19, and entrees range from updated seafood classics like sauteed clams and tostadas to Baja‑Mediterranean dishes such as bluefin tiradito and grilled fish in achiote sauce; Kumamoto and kumiai oysters will also be featured. The experience is rounded out by an interior design from architect Rudy Argote, 13 custom murals by Alfonso “El Norteño” Delgadillo, a terrace with city views, and a bar area serving cocktails and sparkling wines. San Marée is located at 3104 Avenida Jalapa and will celebrate its soft opening on Tuesday, March 3." - Mario A. Cortez
