My company holiday party was hosted here, and it was great fun. I enjoyed the arcade. Couldn't win at a single Claw machine, though!

We were celebrating my friend's birthday and decided to leave our table to dance on the dance floor. To our surprise, the servers cleared everything from plastic glasses to bottles of alcohol while we were away. The security staff even tried to prevent us from returning to our table, which they called “special,” yet they couldn't recognize the guests who had actually rented it. The music was good, but the service was incredibly disappointing. Overall, it really took away from our experience.

The place has a 2 drink minimum for the privilege of playing their $2 a game pool table. The drinks were super expensive but I guess that's to pay for the free video games they offer. I think this place is a good idea, but they don't have to price gouge the people. I don't think we'll be going back. There was a small bowling alley downstairs also.

My family made a reservation for my 60th birthday. We had never been there before and will never return. The waitress stated that she was the only one working due to all the servers that were scheduled called out. So My son and daughter had to go upstairs to order and we had to wait for her to come and reset a lane for bowling because our lane she allowed a group to take over. We wound up just eating and then leaving. We will not return.

I had a semi-private event here for after my wedding with family and friends and the service was fantastic and the snack food yummy. I really appreciated the staff was willing to box leftovers for us since we'd overestimated how hungry people (wouldn't) be. :) It was the perfect vibe and lovely way to end our wedding celebration, thank you guys!!!

Super bummed with my experience.Have been interested in trying this place out and unfortunately the service was poor. Employee just stood there flirting with his gf the whole time and having her hold him and pet his hair. It was very bizarre. I wouldnt have minded that if there werent people needing service and help downstairs. There was zero staff downstairs. We had to keep going up and down the stairs for help. Had to ask to reserve lanes, and to fix malfunctioning pins twice. Def wouldnt have minded poor service if it was busy but it wasnt.

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE CLUB EXPERIENCE ONLY! 10pm and so on! 1st and foremost, the temperature in the club was a sauna. NO A/C what so ever. It was around 65-70degrees outside on a Saturday night, and INSIDE it was around 90-95. We got bottle service, the cheapest was $325 for Hennessy. Got the table and when the bottle Girl came to have me sign the receipt the total was suddenly $486. When I looked it over it was tax, club fee, some type city fee, an tipping the girl $40. Crazy how it jumped up to $161.

Disappointing Experience I recently celebrated a birthday at a nightclub where we had booked a VIP table with a $900 minimum, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. First off, we arrived at 10 PM and faced a 10-15 minute wait in line, which was surprising since we usually skip the lines with VIP reservations. Not the best first impression! Once inside, we waited off to the side for our table to be ready, and when we finally got seated, there were no drinks or even water prepared for us. They don’t do anything special for birthdays, just a basic light-up sign. It took 10 minutes for the juice and ice to arrive, and another 15 for our drinks. When we all went to the dance floor and came back. The whole table was cleared. The juices, ice, and glasses we had to ask for more. Throughout the night we also had to be the one asking for refills on ice and juice, instead of them being on top of that. The service issues continued throughout the night. When we tried to return to our table after dancing, security rudely grabbed my friend, claiming she didn’t belong there. We had to call the birthday boy to sort it out, and this happened multiple times. You’d think they could recognize the people who paid for the table! The lack of air conditioning made the crowded, hot environment even worse. Adding to the chaos, one of my friends felt anxious and stepped outside for a breather. Unfortunately, when she tried to re-enter, security insisted she wait in the long line, despite us telling them she was with us. This took another 30 minutes and really killed the vibe. And the music? Let’s just say it was less than impressive. They really played tracks like WILLITO and Yeri Mua…that should tell you everything. The club also smelled bad like poop, especially downstairs. This mixed with the no a/c and lack of open windows/doors made it worse. They should really allow people to get fresh air because of this. Overall, the service was poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for special celebrations. The concept is great because it even has a bowling alley and arcade downstairs, i just wish it was managed better. This place has potential to be great. It might be okay for a regular night out, but if you’re looking for a good experience for a special occasion, look elsewhere.

Yelp
Went there for an impromptu bday celebration. *Clean *Food was good *Staff was pleasant *Ambiance mix of bar, bowling alley, games and club I had the Fun Guy and the hamburger it was very good and messy! The patty was cooked exactly as I wanted and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It came with a generous side of fries that were also good. Overall, the food experience was a "better than fast food" experience. I tried several appetizers that you would usually expect at such a venue and they were a little more upscale than bar bites or bowling alley. There are four lanes and they are not bowling league standard lanes but more for general fun with a group and plenty of bevvies. The lanes had issues if you're a bowling aficionado and this is not the place to get wound up about the machine getting jammed or it did not count one pin. The staff were friendly but they hung out mostly upstairs on the main floor and I forgive them for it was a slow night and we were an unexpected group of 9.

Yelp
I have tried a handful of times to come to the social but only succeeded twice. Why? Because it seems to always be booked out! Call in advance to check their availability. Anyways, this is a fun place to come with friends or as a date night - both on which I did and had a wonderful time. We rented a bowling lane and played some of the arcade games. Food and drinks were good. Drinks are unique which is always fun. Service was friendly and attentive, and our orders came out in a timely manner. I will be back :)

Yelp
Servers, waiters and hostess were all really nice. However, they rarely ever came to our table. We waited about an hour for our food. They forgot a drink and our appetizer. Ordered a pizza and it was overly salty. They comped the appetizer but we were already done eating so we took it to go. Bathrooms were pretty dirt too. I'll go back to Slice of Homage but probably won't be back here for food. Drinks maybe.

Yelp
I had a fantastic evening at the Santa Clara University Graduate Business Spring Social! May 10th Friday at San Pedro Social, I had the pleasure of connecting with fellow students, professors, and alumni in the heart of downtown San Jose. From the delicious bites and the signature Yuzu Bear Hug and Lychee Lane cocktails to striking some pins at the bowling lanes, every moment was filled with laughter and good conversations. The vibrant atmosphere and the engaging activities were perfect for unwinding during a bustling quarter. A big thank you to Graduate Business for setting up such a wonderful event where we could all come together and celebrate our achievements and foster new connections. Can't wait for the next one!

Yelp
We arrived around 7pm so were able to get in without any search or cover charge... it looked like around 9:30pm there were security that padded down everyone coming in and ID checks and a possible cover but not sure. We came mainly to eat the SOH pizza. We were seating at low tables but the booths look more comfy. The service was pretty good but not the quickest. We finally ordered the mini Detroit vs Everyone which comes with 4 pieces. The pizza is amazing. I just didnt like how cold it got from the draft of the doors being kept open. It looked like management was on it and they helped deliver our pizzas on time as our waiter was not always immediately there when our food was ready to go on the chef counter. The arugula salad we ordered was a bit too drenched in sauce but i liked it overall with lots of toppings. My bf liked the Maui Wowie from Livermore but he said the beer selection. ($10)- he said should be craft beers but they werent a good selection. We went down stairs where they have 4 bowling lanes, and shuffle board, and an arcade with foosball, the punching bag game ( $5 gets u 10 hits; $1 would prob be 2 hits), jurassic park shooting game, crane games, and one pool table. My bf didnt like that it was cash only instead of tokens or card at most arcades these days. The shuffle board game would take our bills so we just played. The pucks are very old tho. But still had fun. We def wanna back for the pizza and shuffleboard.

Yelp
Went here for a friend's party on the weekend. It gave off a lot of night life vibes but the DJ could have been better. Surprisingly no cover which was great. Ordering at the bar took forever but you can put in drink orders with the greeter and it was way faster, he was awesome! I checked out the downstairs bowling alley and it looked fun but we didn't have time to try it.

Yelp
A cute little place to hang out with friends! I never knew it existed until now. Security is very tight, which is nice (but also a tad alarming). The food was great and tasty and they have a ton of beers of tap as well as cocktails to choose from. The service was unfortunately awful. And at some point of the night they turned up the music to a deafening rate. The place didn't have many people and we were all just chilling enjoying conversations when the booming music came on, so that was a major turn off. I think they should just read the room during those times.

Jen-Jen B.

Yelp
Wanted to check the place out and have a few drinks. Came here with several people one random night. Didn't get to check out the bowling alley downstairs or try the food. We were busy having drinks and dancing to the sounds of mindmotion. Pretty chill place tho it gets pretty packed. Next time will try to check out when it's not so rainy.

Diana R.

Yelp
Very fun. Bowling was great, but when we went to play, we did run in with a problem of reservations. We had called the day prior to reserve a lane, but when we got there on time, the reservation didnt go through. Nevertheless, the associate was very helpful and we got to play shortly after. Very beautiful place, I loved it.

Jason M.

Yelp
Came here for a dinner with friends. Never knew this place existed. There's an upstairs and downstairs area. We met downstairs with the bowling lanes and the arcade games. On a Tuesday night, it wasn't busy at all. We were at the booth between the bar and the karaoke room. As far as the food, I had the brisket burger which was good. The fries were nice too though I didn't know if it was full on garlic fries or regular fries with small amounts of garlic. Also ordered the loaded nacho fries. Food portions were big. Decent spot in the San Pedro Square. There's a parking garage nearby so if you're willing to pay for parking go for it. The first 90 minutes is free.

Yelp
Im going to preface this by saying don't come here if you are trying to have a fun safe time. Management is a joke, Javon Williams did everything to protect his trash security team, despite them being in the wrong We came here for New Year's Eve to celebrate the new year. Apart from a long wait time and a cover charge my group of 8 was kicked out for standing too close to a walk way. The way the security initially approached us was very much rude and aggressive. He then proceeded to escalate the situation and ended up manhandling me out the door because my bf responded to him asking what the issue was. Meanwhile group of girls are openly sniffing cocaine in the restrooms yet we were the ones to get kicked out. Pathetic.... Do better social. Have your security find real issues and have them stop making nothing out of something just because their shift is going by slow are bored and need some excitement in their life. So if you want to run in to people doing cocaine in the restroom and listen to shitty DJ music and be dragged out the door with excessive force by security, then come to social you'll love it there hahaha. Place is a joke.

Yelp
I brought a group of coworkers to this place upon the recommendation of a local. The Detroit style pizza here is legit - the slices are huge - one large will easily feed 5-6 depending on how hungry you are. Make sure to ask for hot honey! Even though it was pretty empty the service was pretty slow and our waiter forgot to place one pizza (which is fine bc we had more than enough). The drink (spicy mango marg was fine) - it was $15, and the large pizza was $45. It's a pretty affordable place especially for a big group. Must try in the downtown area of San Jose if you're craving pizza!

Shane S.

Yelp
This place is absolute trash. The drinks were horrible, the DJ was ass, and the security was extremely aggressive. We were here for New Years and security was not doing their job at all. They kicked my group out for no reason after my girlfriend got shoved to the ground. Me and my friend stood up for her and they made us leave the place? So stupid, this place is dumb as hell and they ruined our New Years. Don't go here if you're looking to have a good time, this place is not it at all.

Michelle V.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow. We sat upstairs and was not overly crowded. They do have a Bowling alley downstairs. I didn't go down, so maybe that's were all the customers were. Food was good and huge portions. I was not super hungry so went with the chicken street tacos. Plenty of diced chicken and were good. They also have games to play & full bar. Good place for parents with teen kids to hang out.

Yelp
First off 5 starts for the hostess (Sam) who happened to be her first day. She was hustling, making sure we were greeted, seated, and taken care of. She was definitely paying attention to us, and was attentive, making sure we weren't forgotten about. I had made our reservation for a party of 12 about three weeks in advance, and the morning of our reservation a lady called me and told me they had to cancel it because they were closed for a private event. The gal who called was very apologetic and explained to me there must've been an error and I should not have been allowed to make a reservation. I asked to speak to a manager and that's when Kai (I think) got on the phone. He told me the same thing she did... they were closed for a private event. I explained to him it was hours before our reservation and it was not acceptable to cancel on us. After some back-and-forth, he agreed to allow us to dine there mentioning the private event will be downstairs. About less than an hour later I get another phone call from him, saying l the private party had rented and paid for the upstairs portion as well. He said they could not accommodate our 4 o'clock reservation but would be able to do 5. Although it did ruin our original plan, and I had to call 12 people to explain to them the situation and find a different location for an , we were able to make it happen. Overall it worked out. The place was packed and very loud with several private parties, but we were able to enjoy ourselves, have drinks and food without issue. As I'm writing this I do recall while on the phone with the supervisor, he said he would comp us, for the inconvenience, however, a supervisor never even came up to us to talk about the situation, and we were not comped for their error. Even with that, I'd still say we had a good time, staff were all good, as well as the food. However, I will say if management finds an error, then promises something they should follow through.

Yelp
Very great ambiance if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and watch football. My friends and I came to watch the NFC championship and really loved the lively atmosphere of the bar. When we came in everything was 49ers themed and we got a free towel! They have multiple levels and an outdoor area (even have a bowling alley downstairs!). They had a variety of drink options and the food was amazing! (Also fairly easy to get a drink and food is prepared fairly quickly).

Carissa B.

Yelp
My family and I came here around 7pm to go bowling, we had to make a reservation with the host so we were told to come back around 8pm. Luckily you're in downtown so you can walk to other places to kill time! They have food and a bar that you can order from but we were just here to bowl. While walking downstairs to the bowling alley/arcade, first impression- it was super small! There is only 4 very small, narrow lanes. But of course this isn't an actual bowling alley so you can't really complain lol. We got our shoes from the stand, and decided to find a place to sit. If you're lucky, you'll find a seat against the back wall, which, we were! So that was nice.. While bowling, a lot of the bowling balls were getting stuck in the gutter, there was no employee to be found, not at the shoe stand, no one at the bar, we waited a good 8 minutes for someone to finally go behind and de-clog the gutter. It started to get really packed around 8pm and it was just really claustrophobic since it's a small space! If you're looking for a place to bowl, go to an actual bowling alley! This is more of a place to drink, get drunk, and have something to do while you're drunk lol.

Jazlene T.

Yelp
The vibes are immaculate here on a friday night. I had the lavender lemonade and lavender sour with tequila to replace both and they were amazing. I would definitely come back to partake in bowling. This is the perfect spot for a pregame or just chill vibes. The dj played great music!! The bartenders are really nice.

Michael S.

Yelp
We went to San Pedro Social day after did a little bowling here. Wanted to get lunch and few beers The food was good pizza and chicken fingers with Cajun flavor so many kudos to the cooks , the ONLY staff that gave service in the place. We sat down as they asked , no service for 15 minutes as most the workers were talking to each other or on their phones. Party member went to order at bar , as we were headed to a game that night time was a little sensitive. Pizza comes up , cook hits the bell about 3x before party member went to go get our own food. The response from who looked to be the supervisor was beyond rude. She brought the food to the table , no sorry or anything. FULL attitude , along with had to go to bar and ask for water. No check in on us nothing. Some of the worse service ever received. Serious is a zero star for sure The place is clean and some games to play but honestly seemed more like a hang out for those working , just to socialize. Very bad experience other than the food was good Avoid and highly do not recommend

Bryn S.

Yelp
Honestly i am shook how good the pizza is for bar food. Wow. Super good. The large can feed like 10 people! Its so much food!

Yarn Y.

Yelp
These guys made an amazing decision by serving SOH pizza on their menus. This is probably the best Detroit style pizza in the Bay Area (I published a separate review on them , back when they were in the old location ) We also tried two margaritas which were awesome - not too sweet and just the right amount. Is there a "but" coming ? Yes there is ! They charge 4% credit card fee if you don't pay cash - really ????? I would agree if you sell low cost items with low margins , but we had a 86$ bill for a party of two - offering no-charge credit card payments is ubiquitous now - this extra charge feels wrong and is essentially just another way for them to milk customers even more . I was debating if to give this place a 3 star review b/c of that , but the food and drinks were excellent . Service was descent as well

Emily W.

Yelp
I can't speak for the reviews that mentioned after hours security and racial profiling, but when I went for dinner with my friend we had a really good time! We originally came for Slice of Homage, but they told us we'd have to go to San Pedro Social for dine in. It took a while for the food to come out after we ordered, but the service was nice and there was lots of space to explore. They were happy to exchange a plate when we noticed a fly had fell on it. We didn't get any drinks and just ordered the Spicy D pizza, which I topped with parmesan and chili flakes. Flavor-wise it wasn't that spicy since we requested no jalapeños, but towards the end I could feel a slight burn on my tongue. It was a very thick pizza so we used forks and knives! I would come back because you could spend an entire night here and it's super spacious! There's one karaoke booth which looks really cute downstairs next to the bowling alley and is only $35 per hour. Their song book was huge, too! Upstairs near the dining area they have different games like racing, basketball, and shuffleboard. It gets a little loud later in the night when people start drinking, but it's such a nice vibe! I wish there were more places like this near me!

Shamina W.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday night, the staff were very friendly. It was slightly odd we were greeted by the Security and told to sit anywhere. We sat in the middle of the tables full of people. Shortly after we ordered we were told to move and go sit in the back because the tables were being taken down and the floor would become a dance floor. It was odd since we had just been seated. Shortly after 9:30pm is when this became a dance party with no cover. The DJ was pretty cool, the music was decent but no one came to help us. Maybe they were understaffed but it was pretty frustrating to say the least. I wouldn't return to this location.

Yelp
Wow!! San Pedro Social was SO much fun! Love this place! I didn't know what to expect when my friend suggested we stop by on Friday night. San Pedro Social is fairly new-- I believe they only opened around 9 months ago. And inside... it was beautiful! 2 floors total, a bar is located on both the bottom and top floors. When I walked in, what caught my eye first was the aesthetic décor and ambience. Very modern and trendy. My friends were playing pool, so I headed over there to say hi. Next stop (of course!) was the bar. I started with a blood orange IPA (1st drink of the night). They have a fairly extensive beer menu, I love IPA's and have had this one before, so decided to go with this drink. Then I found out... they have skee ball and basketball... and it's all free! Next, my friend said he had made a reservation for bowling, so we ventured downstairs. Wow! What a nice bowling alley (check out my photo). I didn't bowl but my friends did. Later, I also found out they have Pacman... which was fun to play.... aww... memories :) Later in the evening, we went into the karaoke room where I sang Backstreet Boys. (That's right, BSB!) The downstairs bar opened around 9 pm so I went to get a Cosmo at that point. Bartender was nice. I gave him a nice tip for the good service :) Also, the bathroom had a disco ball (!!!). What girl doesn't love that! Most convenient parking is the San Pedro Square garage. Only about a 3-5 minute walk. Have fun!!

Annabelle R.

Yelp
What a fun establishment in downtown SJ! Where else can one get endless attempts at the 100 hole in skee-ball, nonstop balls to score buckets on hoops, die a million times in a shooting game (Razing Storm) without stopping gameplay, and win endlessly against my bf in shuffleboard?!? Before I discovered San Pedro Social, I never realized how fun it would be. They seemed to have just one or two of each kind of arcade game (mixed between two levels of the venue), ie. one pinball machine (Walking Dead), one Pong arcade table, two racing games, two shooting games, two skee-ball, etc. But that's perfect for couples, and we were lucky enough to try it all on a fairly slow Sunday afternoon. Though I imagine it's probably harder to take advantage of all the free stuff on late night weekends when it's perhaps busier. They have at least one karaoke room that I saw, and 4 bowling lanes downstairs for a fee (and they accept reservations). Also, one billiards table on the upper level... I don't think any outdoor games would be offered on a rainy day. But there's a patio in the back, with bleachers seats and some tables. There's also plenty of seating inside on both floors. Each floor has its own bar, though the one in the lower level was closed this past Sunday when we visited. And there's at least five TV's in the venue, mainly near the bar and kitchen. We snacked on fries (they were out of waffle cut but the regular fries were crispy and delicious) as well as spiked popcorn... couldn't really taste the "spiked" part, but the sweet and savory flavors were good (and mild). This was the first week they started collaborating with Slice of Homage so they were out of pizza due to its popularity, which I'm not surprised when the staff informed us, cuz SOH is hella good. For drinks, we tried the Third Circle (Laughing Monk Brewing), and the Summer Breezy. The drinks were pretty good. I especially loved the peach and rum combination of flavors on that cocktail. We also appreciated the many beer options they offer. The bartender provided excellent service. The setting at San Pedro Social is awesome, clean, modern, great decor and lighting. That along with free arcade games, decent food and drink selection, and good service, we had a memorable time!

Divya K.

Yelp
So glad I got to try this place! Miniboss is the only fun arcade bar in SJ but this place is a great addition for getting drinks and getting competitive. We came around 8 PM Saturday and it was very empty. Given that there's only 4 bowling lanes that was a good thing. Bowling is on the expensive side and you pay per game where each player gets a few turns. We got a lane for 2 people and it took us about 15 mins to wrap up the game. Other than bowling there's a lot to do here including arcade games, karaoke, and shuffleboard. Drinks are also decent. There's a bar upstairs and downstairs where the bowling alley and karaoke are located. Overall a nice place in SJ to checkout with a group of friends.

Purva D.

Yelp
I love this place right near San Pedro Market Square! The music is always on point and and they have a bowling alley, video games, pinball and a kareoke room. The ambiance is very chill and fun with a good crowd of people. There is plenty of space to walk around and mingle. Their drinks are great and they have a bar upstairs and downstairs so it is easy to order. I always end up here when going out in San Jose!

Richard W.

Yelp
Unique bar restaurant fun place with a couple bowling lanes and a karaoke room downstairs. There wasn't too many people there for a popular Thursday night but the cold rain might have kept people away. Detroit style margherita pizza Deep square cuts of thick spongy bread and very fresh tomato flavor throughout. Cheesy crispy edges fun for leftovers. Unique in that is neither Chicago style deep dish nor NY style thin crust. They have NY and Sicilian style margherita on the menu actually. Chicken Tenders They look like the ancient hoo doo formations in Bryce Canyon and almost taste like what you think rock would taste like but there is a rush of chicken flavor - it's just dry and chewy, jerky-like. Fortunately, it comes with a side of ranch and hot sauce which you will gladly douse over the formations of fried chicken. Three Carne Asada tacos Looks and tastes dry at first bite but it's pretty flavorful actually. Onions and cilantro topping with guacamole on the side. Those and the limes really salvage this dish. That's all...

Yelp
Completely unprofessional security and atmosphere. Not only was the security incredibly aggressive but they were incompetent in doing their job correctly. Completely ruined New Years Night. Will never be coming back for any major events and highly suggest anyone else to do the same. Save your time and $ and go to any of the great local places around. Managers I hope you are reading this and adjust your situation because New Years night was an absolute disaster.

Reeven S.

Yelp
This place is huge and full of different activities. They have two bar areas, one on the ground floor and another one downstairs. When it's late at night, the ground floor's bar area is packed, so try going downstairs for a shorter line and quicker service. On the ground floor, they have indoor seating and a small dance floor. The music can be very lively around midnight. They do have outdoor seating, however, it closes at a certain point, which is kind of disappointing since it can be very chaotic inside and a nice outdoor breeze would help a drunken friend out. Downstairs, they have a small bowling alley and a karaoke room. The bowling alley only has 3 lanes so it's pretty hard to walk in and play (maybe make a reservation?). I've only been to their karaoke room and it was alright. It can comfortably fit 5 people. I'm not sure how many rooms they have, but the room we got was next to the downstairs bar area. It was pretty cool, but there were some technical issues at some point. The staff was able to help us right away and extended our time for a bit. Again, I suggest making a reservation for the karaoke room.

Brian K.

Yelp
Attended 49ers watch party. Nice place, but charging $20 for a bar drink and $18 for a beer is criminal. Also, they cut off the bottom portion of the screen so it was hard to follow play-clocks and other in game stats.

Diana S.

Yelp
About damn time I left a review here. What a great "new" spot we have in the downtown San Pedro Square area. Now what got me to finally write this review is my phenomenal current visit. I was feeling in a particularly picky mood for drinks today and wanted what I wanted. Something lavender and yummy. Our bartender Ivan just took it into his own hands and made me the most delicious lavender gin drink ever. Added a little sparkle dust and everything to it! Thank you for dealing with my picky mood and delivering with the perfect drink! Also the bowling downstairs is fun!

Lisa N.

Yelp
This place was poppin! So many people were waiting in line to get in. My friends suggested this spot so we decided to check it out! We didn't have to wait long. Overall, we had a fun night here. Good music and vibes. Arcade games downstairs with 4 lanes for bowling. Plenty of space on their patio outdoors too. We didn't order any food but the drinks were well made. Bartenders were cool. I would come back!

Yelp
This place is very popular and there isn't a long wait to get it. The drinks here are really good and affordable. I haven't had the food here but it does look good. They have an arcade, bowling area and bar downstairs. A bar and a dance floor upstairs. The security is pretty chill here and there is a long wait for the bathroom from time to time but luckily there is one upstairs and downstairs just make sure you take the elevator down.

Yelp
I threw a surprise party for my friend here and it couldn't have gone any better due to the help of the manager, Kynard, and event manager, Alex! It was a huge party of 40+ and the execution of the planning was awesome. When I started my initial search of a venue, I had many people recommend San Pedro Social because it's known to be a fun place to celebrate any occasion and they were right! I reached out and was contacted quickly. I had my questions and requests and Alex was able to help answer and fulfil them. Everything went smoothly the day of and the rest of the staff was very accommodating. I was not only impressed by the hospitality and great service but also how FUN it was especially when it gets later into the night. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed the night. Thank you again for making this event awesome! Will definitely be back

Yelp
This is easily my go to club especially when you want to take someone to a club the first time. Entry is free and there's usually a line to get in where you'll be patted down and ID'd of course; it's usually a more thorough pat down on the guys. This is downtown so there's just about no parking, not that you should be driving anyways especially if you'll be drinking. If you're looking for a place to start off the night or stay the entire night this is it! They serve food which I wouldn't recommend (it's overpriced and very bland), drinks are served both upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs has a outdoor patio area in the back as well as lots of booth seating, basketball arcade games, and a live DJ every night! Downstairs you'll find the second bar, a karaoke room, 3 bowling lanes and FREE unlimited arcade games! Bowling and karaoke will take a long time to move up the list though. Drinks are expensive as expected but they'll do the trick! It's a beautiful, fun place and almost every night I've been is live, I've never witnessed any fights or arguments taking place here either. The best nights to come are gonna be Friday and Saturdays after 10pm :)

Yelp
Honestly, not too bad of a place! I think because it's a little new, it doesn't really get too filled up on a Saturday night, which isn't bad for me bc I hate having to push past people lol. The cocktail prices are all around ~$14 and i believe beers are around $10 as well. They no longer serve cider, which was a bummer There's an upstairs and downstairs, with a bar on each floor. On the upstairs level, there's a couple arcade games (that are all free to play!), a pool table ($4 each game, quarters only, if you need change you can only exchange $10 at a time with the bar), and an outside area to sit and talk, as well as cornhole ($5 to play) and beer pong (also $5 to play, they give you cups, a jug of water and ping pong balls). On the bottom level is the bowling, karaoke room & another tiny arcade area. We didn't opt to bowl because it was pretty pricey ($16 with shoe rental?) and the area is kind of small so I can imagine that it gets reaaaally warm. I think the karaoke is pretty pricey as well. The area with the arcade gets blocked off when reserved, so it kinda sucked we couldn't get over there to play. I'd return for another date night or to hang out with friends! The music was really loud though, so I couldn't hear anything at all!! Not a lot of people dancing either.

Yelp
The place is pretty cool. Free arcade games downstairs, some were turned off. Watered down drinks and skunky soda. I confirmed with the bartender that one drink was w soda and one w tonic. He looked me dead in the eye and said "yes, I didn't forget!". And there was no tonic drink. A friend ordered a coke said it tasted bad.

Yelp
First time visiting and had such an awesome time. The staff were super friendly & accommodating. Make sure to reserve a slot online because this place gets super busy real quick. Perfect rainy day to come out an enjoy some bowling and yummy pizza. Tried the "Detroit vs People" was mini and it was the perfect size for 2. Last but not least shout out to Sam & Hannah for making this a positive experience.

Yelp
Brought my friends here for karaoke. I wish I didn't bring my friends here for karaoke. Faulty equipment. No signs instructing you where to go/who to talk to. The song books were a mess. They were literally out of order. Pages all over the place, as if someone dropped the books, all of them, pages flew out, and they just put the pages back in no order at all. The room also had the previous party's trash all over the table. The door to the room had no handle or knob on either side. Also, no AC. There was a box fan, sat on a stool though. The microphones kept CONSTANTLY feeding back, no matter where you sat or pointed the mics. One of the two mics had a broken battery cover and dust cap. I gave this place two Stars because the rest of the venue looked fun and not sketchy. But the glittery dungeon that was the karaoke room... nah. In a place where you pay by the hour, they should at least have organized the song books so you don't spend most of your time searching through the random pages of each book for songs that you might actually know or like. Either that or cut the hourly rate for having to waste time digging through the mess of pages. The glittery walls looked nice tho.

Yelp
Really cool place to play games with friends, and dog friendly which is a HUGE plus for me! It is also really inexpensive compared to other places like this; the arcade games are free but there aren't many. I went on a weekday so it wasn't very busy but I can't imagine being able to play any game on a day where it's packed. It was also really hard to find employees when you need help. There's different floors and they don't have people stationed on each floor, so you have to travel quite a bit if you need anything. The whole place was also really smelly and felt quite dirty, so I'm not sure I would want to eat or drink here. For games on a not busy day: 5/5 For food: 2/5

Yelp
Came here recently and may visit again in the future. When I visited, the lower level was closed due to a private event. I was really looking forward to checking it out since the bowling alley is there. Since they were fairly new, the games upstairs were free. I like how they have a pool table, but I think it needs to be moved a little since it can get crowded near the arcade area. I ordered the Social Smash Burger and it was really salty. My friend tried it and agreed. If you decide to try it, see if you could request for less seasoning or no salt. The onion rings were really tasty and I would recommend that. Service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Yelp
Don't come here if you're apart of the LGBTQ+ community. (even if you're a woman who has surgery, don't come) Security won't defend you. Security will defend the person yelling slurs and victim blame. Security will also lie about the details of the situation and not give footage. + this "business" keeps deleting mine and others reviews regarding this matter. I'm posting so others can be safe and unfortunately they don't care about the safety of their customers.

Yelp
I saw what happened the night that girl was punched down below. She was the wrong party and first threw a mobile device at the man first and he acted in self defense. The security even pepper sprayed the man for being extremely violent outside towards them and people around. That man even swung on the other clubs security. So that man was handled it looked like. In no way should someone throw an object at someone and play victim, this place handled the situation the best it can!

Yelp
Order: * Detroit vs Everybody * Loaded Nacho Fries * The Social Salad * Smoky Rosemary Paloma Pros: * Two story, spacious with bowling, karaoke, videogames, shufflepuck, hip music, outdoor patio, full bar seating - IMO the Bay does not have enough places like this. * I couldn't ask for more in a pizza, crunch exterior, soft interior, loaded with chucky tomato sauce and toppings. The whipped ricotta perfectly finishes off the toppings balancing out the strong flavors with a mild, creamy cheese. * Salad and nacho fries were adequate. We got it without protein, but I would recommend you add a protein to give it a needed flavor boost. * Our server was very friendly and attentive. * The cocktail was tasty, but... Cons: * I'm a lightweight and I didn't sense any alcohol in my cocktail, either from a buzz standpoint or that alcohol bite you want in your drink. * The nacho fries were a little bland. Comments: * I'm giving this five stars primarily for the pizza and what the establishment has to offer. I wish we had a place like this in the mid-peninsula.

Yelp
This place replaced AFK, and even though I've never actually had the AFK experience, I'd rather have AFK back. They're trying to be a happening spot with a bowling alley with not too many lanes, a lonely karaoke room, some skiball and pool upstairs and your typical drinks and finger food, but the service leaves much to be desired even on a Friday night. We came in looking to a bowl, left our number, and they said we'd be called after 30-45 minutes. We stayed for like an hour and never got a call, and my girlfriend went downstairs only for them to say they called us twice. A friend looked at his phone--nope, not a single call. The drinks were pretty much what you expect, and as far as food goes, house sauce for onion rings was a little weird, but the tequila popcorn was solid. But at that price, you might as well go to the movies for movie theater popcorn. When we decided to leave, I requested a receipt, and it took over 5 minutes to get it. It's really not that hard to run over the printer and grab the ticket. I understand that it's new and growing pains are in order, but it's tough to see this place really succeeding with how rough Downtown San Jose typically is these days.

Yelp
Check your bank transactions. I was charged for a tip way larger than I gave. Super shady!! They gave themselves twice the amount. Service was slow and the bartender had no customer service skills. Food was good but I'll probably just order to go in the future.
