Always love our visits here to San Tan Flat!! The staff and environment are so awesome… The staff are warm and friendly in every aspect of the business whether they’re outside or inside… Or the bar or the folks you place your orders with in the kitchen… The kitchen staff are phenomenal this trip we had Mesquite chicken quesadilla… And I had the salmon Caesar salad… The salmon was huge and the salad was very very plentiful… The pricing of the meals are great… With the kitchen staff as efficient as you have… They each need to get an extra two dollar bill… Dale…. Old kitchen person myself. Highly recommend coming here. Often

This place is a new discovery. Some good friends of ours took us here and wow. The atmosphere, the staff AND the food is amazing. If you like a rustic, outdoorzy feel, then look no further. A bonus is, outdoors they have several fire pits you can use when it gets cold...S'mores anyone? The only bad news is, it gets busy and the wait can be long. Anyway, put it on your list of foodie places to visit, you won't be disappointed.

Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire! 🔥 Off the chain! ⛓️ My first five-star review this year! Too much to photograph. Too much to say. This is the best thing happening in Queen Creek! Crazy big. 😲 Crazy fun. 🙌🏻 This place is the size of an entire shopping center! 😱 The baby back ribs are to die for 😋. It is not inexpensive. It is not your typical barbecue place. You could spend this much at steakhouse and sit inside in a fancy place instead of outside at picnic tables in the dirt. Typically you wouldn't spend $40 on a steak to sit outside at a picnic table 😑 Buuuuut, 😉 You want to be here.. and do that 🤠 Live music.🎸 Excellent country and western band! And this is really important, coming from an audio guy 🥸 The music is not blasting! It's at a comfortable level and consistent 🔉throughout the venue 👍🏻 I know these things. 🧐 Lots of families here with infants👶🏻 and young children. But no dogs

I attended a family event, anniversary, on 11/8. Beautiful location, great vibes and friendly staff. I was really impressed with spot that was rented out for our party. It’s not San Tan Flats fault, but I had to eat a bowl or romaine lettuce with onion and tomato and no dressing because they all had dairy. Thankfully there were vegetables and fruit to snack on. I didn’t select the venue so I cannot complain when I was a guest. Just a bummer I couldn’t eat a proper meal and had to get food on the way back to the Airbnb. There was really good energy at this place and the band was awesome. Besides the fact that I’m vegan, I don’t drink alcohol and I have a severe allergy to cigarette smoke. Be aware that if you cannot tolerate cigarette smoke…or have a severe allergy like I do, this is not the place to be. Thankfully, I made it through a majority of the anniversary party before I had an attack and needed assistance leaving. Again, my issues are based on my health and my lifestyle. I only went to this location for the family party. So the five out of five stars is because this place is great if you eat meat, drink, smoke and like country vibes.

Large rustic setting outdoor venue with a lot of water misters. Has nice sunset views. Expensive drinks. Good and decent priced food. Not a lot of indoor seating. Looks like a great place for weekend live music.

This place was AWESOME. Absolutely everything was great- the fast service, the FOOD (half rack ribs & Margarita) and tge atmosphere was BRILLIANT. The kids had a ball!!!!

I have over 40 million vews. I have been doing this for a long time. This place is my favorite place. This is a compound! There is some much to see. If you're outside they come by and start a fire for you. We will be going back after snow birds season

This place is special. Sit outside on a picnic table by a glowing fire pit while eating rancher tips (deep fried tender steak bites). Purchase smores kits to eat by the fire, firewood is plentiful. The live music is always a treat and watch dancers kn the circle dance floor with a post in the middle. Little kids love the music and so do the adult dancers. It can be a bit of a drive but the experience is hard to duplicate anywhere else. I hear the restaurant there is good too.

The ambiance is always great, especially when it's cool enough to use the firepits! Even in the hot summer days, it's comfortable, as they have misters. The food is good, but not great, for a steak house. If you go on a weekend, be prepared to wait in line for food! The place is always busy, but the bar does a really good job of getting people served pretty quickly. The workers are always pleasant, not rude! Most of them even have smiles on their faces. It's fun to have live music as well.

After standing in line for 90 minutes, paying $70 for chicken tenders and a steak, our food came out 45 minutes later and was freezing cold. That was such a damper on our experience, but now we know not to come to San Tan Flat at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. The vibe, is awesome! We loved the outdoor seating, fire pits, live music, string lights, and lively vibe! We'd come back on a day/time that isn't as busy!

We had an awesome time here today. We stopped by for lunch. The menu is limited at lunch but still not bad. I had the Mesquite Chicken Salad and a Chili Soup. I liked the soup a lot. It was spicy but not over powering. The salad was large with lots of chicken. We were the first ones here but we were allowed to enter a little early. We were given menus and told to order at the bar. When the food was done the server brought into us. She was friendly and came by several times afterwards to ensure we were OK. I loved the layout with a western theme. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. There is even a bar outside as well as a dance floor. Thank you San Tan Flats for the good time.

I've been here a few times now and it's always such a fun time! Stopped by around lunchtime and it wasn't too packed, which was perfect. The service was super friendly and quick, and the vibe is always great here. I got the turkey wrap this time and it was delicious--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. Also may or may not have ended up taking a tequila shot at noon... because duh.. why not?! Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots!

Stopped at San Tan Flat to hear some live music, we weren't sure what to expect, WOW! This place was hopping! Lots of outside seating with fire pits, several bars that you can walk up to and order drinks or food...there was also a large restaurant area inside if you didn't want to eat outside , there was a wait to be seated though. The place has lots of things to look at/do, pool tables, smore kits for the kids (you have your own fire pits!) Everyone was super friendly, the band was great, we will have to come back and try them for dinner!

San Tan Flats -- this is a cool place, mostly outdoors, and that's really the reason to go. It has a fun Western feel, with picnic tables spread throughout the area. It's counter service if you're outside -- so get in one line to order your beverages, and a different line if you want to grab some food. It's a super laid-back atmosphere and a perfect spot to meet up with friends. Prices are fair, but the lines -- especially for food -- can get long and slow. Still, it's worth the drive to check out. Be sure to bring some friends and enjoy a sunny day outside. Saluti

We stopped in for lunch and purchased five different meals. Food was really salty/greasy and almost not edible. I ate less than half of mine and no one else finished theirs either (including three teenagers who don't have a discerning palate). I was looking forward to trying this place after seeing lots of good reviews. There are lots of options in the valley and I would call this a must miss.

This place is amazing with one exception. I should not have to wait in line for 20 minutes just to order food. You're already giving me a buzzer to tell me to come get the food when it's ready. So write a freaking app or somebody go to Chick-fil-A and copy their process so that people don't leave angry because they don't want to wait. If you can't write an app, contact me, I'll write it for you.

Great food, great environment, excellent night out! We love it here. Check their schedule to see when they've got a live country band, and stick around for some outdoor dancing!

Always like coming here. The food is usually good, reasonable prices, good alcohol selection, and I just love the posted quotations of Americas founders. Had lunch with a group of friends. Ordered the Ruben with fries and shiner bock on tap. Beer was perfect. The sandwich was almost too much to eat. The fries were ok. Enjoyed sitting outdoors at one of the picnic tables. They seemed short staffed and some of our group got their orders messed up. Otherwise 4 stars

Try the ribs! The service is always great. The live music is okay. The fish has always been good. My Wife and I love coming to this place. It's family friendly. We come here for all special occasions.

We love San tan flat! We go often and we love the steak!! All of the food, drinks and open bars, country line dancing during the live music nights are incredible! Great service!

Food was great, the Shrimp Cocktail was huge and the cocktail sauce was delicious! The service at the bar was quick and courteous. The Bartender (Bree) made a delicious chocolate martini. They have the most comfortable bar chairs!

We came here on a Wednesday night with friends. We arrived around 4:30 PM and we were seated inside as it was still a little warm outside. However, they do have lots of misters so it's not too bad outside. When you sit inside, you have table service, which was nice. Our server was very nice and efficient. Our food came out within 10 minutes and was nice and hot! My husband ordered the full rack of ribs along with the steak fries. It also comes with cream corn and a roll. I ordered the flat iron steak with asparagus. It also came with cream corn and a roll. Both of our meals were quite delicious. I could only eat the top half of the asparagus because the lower half was a little woody. But there still was plenty of vegetables. We couldn't finish our meals so we took a little home for a lunch snack for the next day. Our friend's rib eye looked pretty good; we'll have to try that next time. They brought our friend out a piece of cheesecake to celebrate his birthday. It was a very nice birthday dessert. The outdoor singer was starting up as we were leaving. I think it would be fun to come back when the live music is playing. We will definitely be back.

Came here to see a friend of mine who was playing drums as a fill-in for the band's drummer. First time here & was impressed with the great staff here. This place is very accommodating & provides a family friendly atmosphere. I saw people of all ages & walks of life enjoying the music, the food, & just enjoying their time there. The stage is a good sized stage for bands & there is a room off to the side of the stage for bands to store extra gear and personal items during the show. The sound is perfect. There is an outdoor dance floor to "cut a rug". There are fire pits for cold evenings. The food is really good as well. I tried the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw & potato cakes. HUGE portion size! Took the rest home! Brought my friends here for the second night seeing my drummer friend & we girls had so much fun!

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic overall experience. Had The Duke burger with steak fries, side salad and Green Pork soup. It was all delicious and the serving sizes were generous. You will love the western motif throughout in a relaxed setting for couples, families or groups alike.

Came to eat here before we went to Fat Cats near by. We came here for lunch, we were able to seat ourselves and when ready, we ordered at the bar. We were so hungry forgot to take pictures of our drinks and food before we dug in. But the food and drinks did not disappoint. We were hoping to try their ribs but unfortunately they only have those on their dinner menu which is at 4pm. I would suggest going early for dinner as it did get packed fast right at 4pm. We definitely will be back for the dinner menu. They have lots of seating area and a nice patio with lots of misters for these summer days.

Great food and drinks here with a really fun atmosphere all around. It can get loud, so don't come for a quiet dinner. The lines for food can also be very long during certain times of the year, just be prepared to possibly wait.

Came here again, service was bad and the food this time wasn't good at all. Last time the food wasn't that bad, I've been seeing how bad it is and will say that, this is correct!

Great food. A great place to chill and just listen to the music. Can get really busy and packed at times but would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't.

San Tan Flat is the best! We absolutely love coming here. The atmosphere is awesome! Highly recommend sitting outside, grabbing a table, enjoying a cold one, and listening to some excellent country bands. Bring your dancing boots, too! The food here is pretty good! Their menu is a good size, and so are their portions. The Rancher Tips are probably my favorite thing on the menu! They're delicious! The bar has a good rotation of beer on tap as well as drink specials. San Tan Flats gets busy! If you're trying to sit outside, come early. Seats are first come, first serve. They do blast the misters outside when it's hot out, and they have tons of firepits for when it's cooler out. Either way, it's always a great time at San Tan Flats!

Long waits for the food during dinner rush, only one cashier, couldn't get a place to sit inside (only about 10 tables). Great atmosphere outside, live entertainment, line dancing and fire pits near the tables you could fill up with provided wood. Bbq ribs were falling off the bone, juicy flavorful ribeye with sides (cream corn was great). Bbq beans not the best.

First time at this restaurant and I was not impressed. First, the soda we received was flat, when we said something to the server he looked at as like we had 10 heads. He came back with new soda and proceeded to say, maybe the soda is different here. Really! It's fountain soda. Samuel was our waiter, our food came and he asked if we wanted anything else. I asked for mayo for my burger, which I never received. He said to me I'm sorry I forgot to bring it. Just horrible.

For all the hype about this place you'd think it would be a great 5 star restaurant. We've been here 3 times and all 3 times the service was so so, the food was... inconsistent. Not horrible but not great either. I'm going to say we more than likely will go back but it won't be a first choice.

This place was so amazing!! Ordered food right away and it was ready pretty quickly. We had the steaks, cooked medium, and they were perfect! Nice seasoning and still juicy/tender. The baked potato was yummy and the corn on the side was also delicious. We came late in the evening, basically missing dinner rush and had a lovely time. The live musician was SO talented and we definitely enjoyed the songs he performed.

If you enjoy rodeos, the countryside, cowboys and cowgirls this is a place to add to your adventure list. We stopped by early afternoon on a Saturday and it was not too busy with not many people outside due to the September heat but they have misters blasting so it actually felt cool on the large patio/outdoor area with plenty of shaded space to sit. Inside the restaurant it has a little shop to buy hats/shirts and they have fun decor and signs posted everywhere. We met John (a regular frequenter that has his own sign posted) and a few other regular customers that were friendly. If you want to be active there's a pool table in a separate area of the restaurant plus a stage outside. We stayed through dinner time and every table was taken, we were sitting at the bar, and it transformed into a busy place. The food portions are big with finger food options and entrees like steak and lobster. They offer Pendleton whiskey which is a favorite of Oregonians, and my Bf, but is not at many places we have explored here in AZ. We want to bring some friends here on a night with live music and do some two stepping in the future.

Looking for a country outdoor BBQ place? This is it. Now we don't have places like this in Hawaii so, it was quite an experience. This place is huge. Outdoor seating near a fire pit on picnic tables. Live music, dancing are all to be had here. Order in front and they will buzz you when your order is ready. Full bar and a s'mores bar. We ordered the Filet, rib eye and next time I'll try the ribs. Wait wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. Food was prepared well. Loved my steak, it had a nice crust on the outside. I wanted a medium but it came out more of a medium well. It was still tender. Served with your choice of starch and a side of creamed corn. Everything was great. Not much service as everything except the drinks were pretty much self serve. It's a drive to get here but for the experience I'd say worth it!

I love coming to San Tan Flats when I'm in the area. This time I was able to bring the hubs. I've never had a bad meal and the corn is not just corn. It's crack corn. Service is always spot on & music is always a plus. This is my favorite sign there.

I went here for my birthday a few months back and still feel good about going there. I had the steak and it was as if jebediah nightlinger grilled it himself. Tasty and filling. I enjoyed the staff's quickness to assist each other and the rustic aura inside the restaurant. Well done, well done everyone.

Hi everybody. I just want to tell you how much I really enjoy going to San Tan Flat. They have a lot of good food, and I especially like the live country music bands that play there. A good thing about the bands is they start playing at 7:00 PM. I always find it enjoyable and also a nice family place. I noticed a lot of little kids out dancing to the music of the band. They are so cute to watch. My little grandson loves to go there too. He likes the music and dances around to it. Donald L Rost author of "Risen From The Dead."

If you are looking for a top tier country vibe- THIS is the place! The charm of this place just oozes out all over, and will put everyone in a great mood! The western decor from the lighting to the floor- inside and out- was clearly thought out. The little posted signs were fun to read as well. You can dine inside with full service, or you might want to choose the order window that allows for a more casual outdoor experience. Both look to be just as good as the other. Either way, the service staff is the same- and they are all very friendly and attentive. The food- the food was delicious! My sandwich had such a rich, amazing taste unlike I've had before. However they seasoned it- truly a work of art! Yum! I give this place a 10/10- well worth the drive, and not too expensive.

If you are Canadian, avoid this place at all cost. We went today and 6 of us had 2 pitchers and 1 round of shots we racked up a $250 food bill and at dinner had mentioned we were Canadian and immediately after dinner they had cut us off. They would not serve us or give us any reason as to why they stopped serving us. All 6 of us (4 late 30's and 2 late 60's) were escorted out.

The food is great and fun environment and music is great atmosphere. Glad that steak is back.

Fave restaurant! They have the best filet! I've been to many steak restaurants including a 3 Michelin in Paris, and San Tan Flats tops even their filet. We love the atmosphere and everything on the menu is great. The waitresses are amazing. Frankie is our go to. She always greets us with a smile and knows our order. Nothing negative to say at all!

Place used to be fun but man their staff has real attitude problems. All of them are one bitchier than the other. You think walking up with a family of 6 and wanting to eat there during their slowest months would be a good thing. Nope, from the 2nd they greet you they are pissed off to even have to speak to you. Then you call out the bitchiness and you watch her from a distance cursing you under hear breath. Lol. Ok, no problem, I'll leave and never come back. Works for me. Whole lot of places to eat in the area. No lack of selection.

San Tan Flat is like taking a step into the Wild Wild West. What a vibe! We were lucky enough to be included in a rehearsal dinner private room for a wedding and we had the best time! The rustic atmosphere paired with the cowboy cuisine is truly spectacular. We had a flat iron steak, loaded baked potato and creamed corn. Everything was so delicious and our steaks were cooked perfectly which is very hard to do when cooking for a crowd! I had a blueberry mojito that was quite tasty along with some martinis. The martinis were a little weaker than I usually go for but not a huge deal. There are a ton of outdoor picnic tables & fire pits for the cooler months. We got a smore's kit for like $8 and shared with a bunch of people. If you live in the area, take your out of town guests here! It really was so much fun.

The ambiance for both indoor and outdoor dining is that of a western saloon. It's nice and welcoming. The only thing is, inside it gets very loud! The service was good although our server was overwhelmed the night we last came. Our experience with the food and new higher prices left us disappointed. Sticker shock for a Sunday dinner without alcoholic beverages to be $250 for 6 people. Wow....

Find the hostess station to sit inside or the menu to eat outdoors - then-food/soda order at the indoor window. Misters outside cool down the area.

I wish I could say I had a better culinary experience at this wonderful restaurant. The environment is perfect for a steakhouse, I love everything about the style and design. The employees are extremely nice, the t-shirts they all wear are hilarious! It seems everyone has a good sense of humor, and a general kindness. Unfortunately, the food did not meet the same level as the environment and service. The cheese curds were standard, not bad, but nothing to write home about. Where I feel they seriously lacked, was the steak filet. They advertise it as the most tender steak they have, but if that's the case I can't imagine how tough the rest of their meats are. I ordered the filet at medium rare, which is even more optimal for tenderness, but unfortunately it didn't do much to help. The steak felt tough and chewy all around, the flavors were okay, but the texture really ruined it for me. Was it a decent meal? Yes it was. Am I grateful for the experience and large plate of food I was able to eat? Yes I am. Was it worth the money, in my opinion? No it was not. I hope others have had a better experience than I, but my takeaway? For a $50 plate, I could've made a significantly better steak at home and still had money leftover. Please don't let this deter you from giving them a try, it is only my opinion, and you may end up loving them!

I had to go up and order my food and pick it up as well as my drinks, I was my server the prices are pretty high and the food was not that good! If I'm going to pay that much I want to be waited on!

I love this spot, beautiful views, and awesome ambience! Sitting inside is a lot of fun with all the decorations and the food is always amazing! Eating outside is a lot of fun, especially at night when they have live music and dancing! The lines can be pretty long on weekends, so just take that into consideration, but the service is always great!

The dining room menu & food is incredible. It is different than the bar menu so be sure to make time to enjoy the dining room and the great options available. The regular bar menu is very good, but it is not the same menu. Overall STF is a nice place with the perfect AZ atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly & helpful. It does get busy so plan your visit and get in early if possible

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I made a trip here after seeing the reviews on yelp. Decided to give it a try, it did not disappoint. Food and drinks were normally priced. We had the NY steak. It was so tender and juicy, the flavor was amazing. Literally the best steak I've ever had. The sides are delicious as well. The place is half indoors/half outdoors. Outdoors they have misters to keep everyone cool. Band started at 7, they played really good music and people were up dancing. 10/10 experience.
