"In this upmarket neighbourhood, Sancerre denotes a hill, a wine and even a great little Parisian restaurant – a location once run by the great Sancerre winegrower, Alphonse Mellot. In a modern bistro atmosphere, Anne-Cécile Faye, no stranger to the art of hospitality, extends an exuberant welcome. As for chef Éric Lecerf, he cooks up humble dishes from French popular tradition and the effect is as remarkable as it is cheering: different pâtés, offal and other filling foods, plus stuffed cabbage – the house specialty. Everything is presented on the counter; whole pies and cakes are cut to order by the waiter." - Michelin Inspector

The Best Bistro Dishes in Paris, According to Our Inspectors

"Eric Lecerf, former right-hand man to Joël Robuchon, has a new space to showcase his talents in this smart bistro just a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower. One of the creations he offers is chou farci – a comforting stuffed cabbage dish that is a relatively rare sight on bistro and brasserie menus today." - The MICHELIN Guide

The food here was extraordinary, the fresh frog legs were very tasty and along with garlic and parsley it was truly amazing, the veal chop was remarkable, the cook was perfect and the jus that went along with it was really the star of the show, and fresh French fries are my kryptonite so it was very delicious, the sweetbread was definitely the best I’ve tried thus far, the sear on it was amazing and the texture was just rich and creamy. Truly a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try, but make a reservation in advance!

While staying in the 7th ARR in Paris, we had the fortune of dining at Sancerre on a Monday. The restaurant has an understated, and upscale vibe. Love the green walls and the mixture of artwork. The bar is modest but has nice liquor choices. Their wine list is loaded with quality options, we selected a white from Loire. Delicious. The menu has just the right amount of options. My wife and I had the Chilled Sea Beam and the Green Asparagus and Poached egg…both delicious. My main was the Spaghetti with Truffle Cream (it was so good that I had to stop from eating too much) and my wife had the Chicken with Morel Cream. Excellent choices. The staff was professional, friendly and quick with recommendations and assistance. Overall a wonderful experience and one I would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Amazing food with interesting combinations, super efficient service and cosy, inviting environment. Would highly recommend it. Everything was delicious but my firm favourites are the Girolles, Fleur de Courgette and the Tuna Albacore (no photo unfortunately)

At first that a very traditional trattoria with a very classic menu like thousands of Italian restaurant in Paris. So when you arrive there, you could be doubtful. The result is amazing with a great pasta, great tastes, fresh products. So that’s a big yes. The service is ok and the view of the Eiffel Tower is breathtaking.

It started raining harder, and I had to stop under the awning of this establishment to protect my 1-year-old son for five minutes until the rain passed. Two waitresses preferred to kick us out. As a tourist, I could have easily wanted to have lunch there. I don’t recommend going anywhere near this place—they don’t like babies. A mediocre place.

Better than Italy! Pizza and gnocchi were so delicious and prices were great! Service and waiters were super nice. Great location by the Eiffel Tower. Will definitely come back. Edit: we went back 4 times during our trip and every time was just as amazing as the first!

The location of the restaurant was just near the tower, perfect for the afternoon. A little bit overpriced but the starters are really amazing, the weitress always on time and the service ok. Amazing pizza and pasta.
