Excellent food! Friend staff too. We had shrimp tacos, and steak sopes and it was delicious. The guacamole is exactly how I like it, plenty of lime. Horchata was good too.

Very good food, good service, good music, nice Aztec painting, chips and salsa had good mild flavor, very good birra, nice horchata and very good hibiscus drink, would come again to try other items. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but it was nice that way.

Yum! First Mexican food I’ve had since moving to east coast from Midwest. Beans were so flavorful. Was a little surprised to get black rather than refried. Didn’t find the vegetables in the fajitas as flavorful as the meat. Rice wasn’t very flavorful. Kind of surprised if was white rather than seasoned. Remember, my comparison base is from out of state. We got both chicken and steak. Steak was both tender and chewy. Had to throw a lot away :/ Chicken was delicious. Tomatoes were with the steak one but not w chicken. Loved the salsa verde side. Would have loved complimentary chips and salsa as well. Thanks!

I wanted to try this place because it had 4 stars and my love for tacos is infinite so why not, I was in the area. We came in and we were the only people there which is fine and you would assume that they would be more attentive to their only customers but not really. The decor was a little kitschy but fine I guess. It did look like they use the main dining area as a hangout when nobody is there. After some awkward minutes the waitress came and stood next to me without saying a word so I just ordered. She came back with chips/salsa and my Coke. The "chip" salsa was just not good, I usually eat the whole thing but it just tasted weird. The tacos came along with a green taco "salsa". The tacos were ok, not good not bad just okay. Same story with the salsa too. I just wished it had more flavor. I ate,paid and left... Knowing full well I would never come back here.

We placed an order of 40 tacos for a birthday and they were amazing! The order came with guacamole, chips, salsas and pico de gallo. The woman who attended us was very sweet and helpful. Will order again!

Tacos are very good and authentic! Love that they allow us to order 4 different flavor instead of 4 of the same flavor. It allows us to try all the choices so we know what we like or don't like. But all were good! Al Pastor, Lengua, Chorizo, Pollo, Bistec, Camarones, and Carnitas.

We had a fantastic meal from Sanchez on Sunday. Their guacamole is amazing and everything is delicious. Thank you Sanchez family!

Pick up order made it from my husband! I got 2 days ago one of my favorites here: Nopales con carne asada y queso ( grilled cactus w/ steak and fresh cheese) The order comes with 3 Nopales( cactus) so I can eat 2 times with it. It's huge Really Mexican food % Recommended

BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!! This remote restaurant has truly authentic food and everything I tried was delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the tacos. The service was great and they also had a room for parties. It was very quiet due to the location so I highly recommend more people go to this incredible restaurant.

I had the Authentic Mexican Tacos De Berria, they were the most flavorful tacos that I have had ever! The soup that came with the tacos for dipping was delicious! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys tacos and is looking to try new things!

Stopped in there on a very snowy day and was treated very kindly by the staff the food itself was very good one of the reasons I went there if they offer Barria tacos one of the few places in the area that you offer this type of taco, food was fresh I was very happy with it would return I would recommend!

Way overpriced for their serving sizes. Food was good but nothing particularly special.

This is a take out or delivery place. While there is a dining room in the back, it is windowless and feels like you're in someone's empty / run-down basement. So there is no dining experience here. It's mom and pop all the way but it didn't show any pride. Also, the portions we had were not too large and left us wondering why the order wasn't more plentiful. We are not planning on going back because the food didn't blow us away and the place is very dumpy, and so us the area. Street parking for us was across the busy street and was kind of dangerous. Honestly 3 stars is kind of generous for the total experience we had.

The place is really an eye soar and it kind of smells funny BUT their chorizo tacos are literally the best thing under the sun! You must get them with extra cilantro! I can literally have their chorizo tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner! Not sure about dinning in thou..... I always get my food to go. They are very nice and humble .

We only ordered the sopes but omg they were so good! They just opened so the location still needs more umph but if the food is good, then that's all that matters!

Reviews read "authentic" so I ordered the birria tacos and chicken quesadilla. Quesadilla came with store bought Mexican blend cheese and chicken was kinda dry :( It was my first time trying birria tacos, and although I enjoyed them.. I feel I can def get some with more jazz somewhere else. I did see some restaurants add cheese between the two tortillas which I feel would def have made them that much more enjoyable. My takeaway would be I wish they were more authentic. I will continue to get my quesadillas from Maravillas de Tulcingo in englewood.

Burritos are to die for! Steak tacos are yummy, just ask for the extras sour cream cheese and salsa since it does not come with it

Dining in here is an interesting experience. Every time I came here there was no other guests dining in. Complimentary chips and salsa are awesome!! I've had their chicken tacos and quesadillas. Both were really great. I know there might be better Mexican places around me but until then this will be my go-to.

sandwich delivered with none of the items listed on their menu within GrubHub. This wouldn't be bad if the owner or whoever I spoke to wasn't shitty and just basically said well that's normally how we make it and I feel bad but I'm sorry I can't do anything for you. maybe next time you order I'll give you a free soda or dessert or milkshake. This is for an 8.00 sandwich that was listed to come with lettuce tomato AVOCADO mayo cheese and steak. It came with steak and cheese and very little cooked onions on thick bread. The simple fact that instead of saying I'm sorry about the mistake on our page I'll send over another sandwich made the way it should be or next time you order the sandwich will be on us then I wouldn't be leaving this review. I don't ever plan on ordering from this place again. Also other people who ordered with me were missing items from their meals that were listed on the site as coming with them. Sandwich was not worth any more than maybe 4.00 what a ripoff. Don't waste your time with ordering from this establishment.

This is a family run place and I feel bad writing a bad review - but they need to know that they need to change it up or they will be out of business very soon. Tasteless food which does not taste fresh - and the dining room looks abandoned and downright scary. Owners need to watch Restaurant Impossible and get some tips before they are shut down.

The decor is not the best but I do enjoy their homestyle Mexican food. It's my local Mexican pickup spot. Much better than the Chipotle!

A gem in a wall ! For one who loves Mexican food, I am always on a hunt to try out authentic Mexican food especially when it's nearby. For starters the guacamole is quite outstanding compared to others I have tried. I had the "sopes" which were fresh and delightful. Portions are more than enough and prices are very reasonable. The only downside to this place is the ambiance, we were the only ones there and it just felt like we were at someone's house instead of a restaurant. Highly recommend, maybe takeout would be a better option? Will be coming back to try out more delicious Mexican food.

Besides decor, they have a really great authentic food. We got the steak tacos, veggie burrito and quesadilla would definitely come back.

Delicious, authentic tasting Mexican food. My bf adored his tacos and my mushroom quesadilla was excellent. I'm a vegetarian, so I'm always looking for more vegetable-centric menu items, so that's my only gripe for now...wish there were a few more vegetarian items, but what I did order was fresh, great quality and promptly delivered.

I came from out of state and after eating American food for a period of time I wanted Mexican food. And came across this restaurant and I have to say the food is great....

I ordered a tray of rice 2 days prior to when I needed it for a work fundraiser. I asked to have it ready by 11:30. I didn't even get there until 11:50 and it still was not ready. The guy told me to wait 10 more minutes even though I had people waiting. He didn't come back out with it until another 20 minutes later. I had also asked him if I can pay for it by Credit card two days prior and he said no problem I can pay for it when I pick it up the day of and it will be $40. Once the tray was brought out I gave the lady my credit card and asked again it is $40 correct? She said there was tax to pay with credit card so I said that's fine it should be less than $3. She came back and gave me my card back another 4 minutes later and I had to ask her to please print me a receipt. When she handed it to me I saw there was another additional fee for a couple dollars more. I asked her what this was she said the credit card fee. I told her no, you said there was tax not a CC fee. She pointed to the sign behind the register and as I read it aloud it said "There is a 4% discount for cash payments" But nothing that said extra CC fees (which is illegal anyway) nor did she tell me that before processing my card. I complained to them and at no point did they offer to charge less for the inconvenience of waiting almost a half hour longer than I should have. Not a nice place and bad customer service. The rice was pretty good but the whole process of the last 2 days has been a headache and stress. I will definitely not go back.

SOOOO GOOOOD. I'm addicted to their torta and its family owned their daughter who is probably 14 works in the front and is just the cutest, sweetest girl!

This has to be the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. The food was tasteless. Save your money, this place is not worth it.

I've tried this place a few times now and have been disappointed with the quality and flavor of the food. The first time I thought it was due to the long delivery time (but that has been a trend the few times we've ordered from them.) Specifically the 3 Cheese Quesadillas are dried out and bland. Each of the 3 quesadillas was a small dried out tortilla folded in half and the cheese was barely melted. It was a good amount of food, but it was hard to finish more than one as I ran out of salsa trying to drown out the dryness. The salsa is the reason this review didn't start off as, "Wish I could do zero stars". It was flavorful and had decent kick, however the amount provided was skimpy and didn't last me past one and half quesadillas. Might have better luck as an eat in place but definitely avoid delivery as it takes a while and they usually miss a thing or two with the orders.

I went here about a year ago and hate to give any place a bad review but the food was not great and the service not good. i felt bad for them because it looked like they were new at this but the decor was terrible and there was nobody in there. im weary of places like this because i start thinking food poisoning, lol. but although the food was edible it was not to my liking at all and i kind of cursed my husband out for not reading reviews before buying the groupon. LOL they really need to work on service and presentation and put a little more kick to their food.

Walking in, decor looks pretty run down and not appealing. There was also no waiter to seat us. The chips and salsa to start were very below average. I can't say anything about the chips, but the salsa was definitely store-bought. We ordered burritos, which took approximately 15-20 minutes. The burritos themselves were very bad. There was nothing inside except for rice, cheese, and the meat. There was no pico de gallo or any kind of salsa; no onions and only a few pieces of lettuce and tomatoes. The tortilla itself was not even grilled. The presentation came with one slice of tomato and one slice of radish. When the check came, the bill was hand written on a post-it. To make matters worse, the calculation was incorrect as well. As we sat there for 20 minutes, they had to call another individual to figure out how to refund the amount back to my card. After the correct amount was given, I had to ask for the new check as they just wanted my card back to charge (I wanted to confirm the new amount). This second process took another 10 minutes. Overall, the service, decor, and food were all very below average.

Went for lunch with a friend today. My friend ordered tacos (2 beef, 2 chicken) and I ordered 2 tacos and 2 tamales. What a great lunch! Fresh, well seasoned fillings, soft flour tortillas, lime, grilled scallions and cactus. Fabulous lunch; great value! Try it!!! You won't be disappointed!
