Sandbourne Santa Monica, Autograph Collection

We just hosted our daughter's wedding in Santa Monica - Sandbourne hotel was our room block, welcome drinks location and then brunch reception on the next day. Service and accommodations were outstanding! Wait staff was friendly, courteous and so willing to help with all details. Our guests enjoyed the pool, fitness center, beach, restaurant and bar area for eating, drinking and socializing. We were made aware of the renovations prior to our event, but the hotel didn't disappoint. Lots of updates, fresh and clean look made for a fantastic weekend. Highly recommend for events!

We knew ahead of time that the hotel was under construction. As soon as we pulled in we were welcomed by everyone. After getting checked in we were given a couple glasses of wine. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Our room was a great size and freshly renovated. The area has a lot of restaurants in walking distance and we felt very safe. I enjoyed the various snacks they would put out from day to day. I wish we could go back after the renovation is complete. The valet guys were outstanding as well. This is by far one of the best Hotels we have stayed at!

Other than a couple of minor things, we very much enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again. Price is actually reasonable even including the resort fee, all things considered. You do get some of that resort fee back in a daily room service credit. Just be advised that parking at the hotel is valet only, $52 a day, even for hotel guests. This is not disclosed anywhere that we could see when we booked. There is cheaper parking in then city parking garage just an 8 min walk away. We opted for that. But it’s a very nice hotel in a great location. Room was clean and pool service was nice too.

Hotel Ambience and service was top notch! All the staff were welcoming and kind. Immediate needs and quick service was among things they addressed with our family of 4 with 2 small children. From baggage to Valet parking they’ve been great! Even after checking out they provided my car parking while we continued touring the beautiful Santa Monica Pier. Stand out staff from Valet are Manny, Emerson, Ricky and Jorge to name a few. Car was ready in 2mins or less and was recharged whenever requested. We’ll likely to come back and stay here over the course of summer. Thank you Le Merigot for making our first stay/experience with your Beautifully renovated hotel wonderful and pleasant. First with the good: great location, accommodating and friendly staff and nicely renovated property. Unfortunately, I did not realize that “newly renovated room” meant that the room next door would be under active renovation and we’d wake up daily to loud hammer drills drilling on our shared wall and the vibration of a multi-tool vibrating through the walls throughout the day. This wasn’t intermittent noise, but rather continuous for the two days we were here. The property does not seem full, yet they chose to put a Platinum Member next door to an active construction zone on one side and the elevator on the other. Not what I’ve come to expect from any Marriott property much less an Autograph collection hotel. What would have otherwise been a perfect vacation was all but ruined by construction we were told nothing about. I feel it was a waste of 100,000 points - a 25,000 point Fairfield would have been much more relaxing. Give it a few more months and this will be a great place to stay.

Excellent location , friendly and helpful staff and clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed the balcony as well ! They were doing a renovation but they gave us a pass for the hotel pool across the street. The breakfast was very good and loved the service !! We will be back and can’t wait to see all the exciting updates to the hotel !!

This hotel is newly remodeled and Nicely done. My wife daughter and I stayed here and were impressed. The location is very good. It is near the Santa Monica Pier. It has very good views, ambiance, and service. I would for sure stay here again and recommend this place to friends.

We were more impressed by the service at Sandbourne than the wonderful renovation, and that’s saying something! From a smooth and friendly check-in with Alex, to great restaurant service with Jose and the restaurant team, we were well taken care of here. It’s the little things too - the restaurant hostess changing out wet table cushions for dry ones at a desired table in the restaurant, to the complimentary gummies while poolside. An associate escorted us rather than pointing to the water bottle refill station. I work in hotels, and was impressed! Thanks!
