Sandbox Beach Club

The view over the beach is beautiful and definitely the highlight. The food was a letdown. I ordered a burger with fries. The burger was dry and tasteless, and the bread was also dry. The fries were too salty. Prices are high, which is normal for a beach spot, but the quality of the food didn’t match the setting. I enjoyed the view more than the restaurant itself.

Sandbox is quite lovely. The ambiance and wait staff was nice. The desert was quite tasty. Believe I had the apple pie. It was a quiet crowd. The beaches in Accra are eyesores. Wish they were pristine and not dirty. Takes away a bit from all these beautiful beach clubs. But no fault to them.

Visited to say goodbye to Accra and enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean before an evening flight. Had only cocktails, no snacks. Very few people on the patio in the middle of the day, able to get our drinks within minutes of arriving. Listened to the waves and recounted the numerous ways we received and enjoyed Red Red. When we visited in January 2024, they didn't offer Red Red.

A lovely place for an escape when in Accra! The place is beautifully designed and will welcome you with an infinity pool and incredible beach views. The cocktails, music selection and drinks are a vibe. The food is on the pricier side (we’re talking London or Paris prices) and could use more attention to detail for the price range (i.e serving guests REAL potato fries and not frozen ones, just to state an example) Service was amazing and welcoming - big shout out to Samuel!

If u are looking for the ideal beach club location, then sandbox is the right place to be. Expect the best of ambience Music Food And wide range of drinks from shots, cocktails beers,wine to non alcoholic beverages

Great experience, our second time here, we were served by a lovely lady Rita Addi. The cool breeze mocktail was the table favourite. We got some Mother’s Day champagne and Rita gave us some complimentary cupcakes. We will surely come back.

Very aesthetically pleasing. Service was wonderful but my waiter failed to inform me that they had run out of avocado despite recommending I order a dish with avocado. I didnt receive a discount which was annoying. The recommended dish very very underwhelming (I suppose the avocado would have pulled it all together). The cocktail I order was very cutesy but too sweet for my taste buds. Otherwise the ambiance was enjoyable.

The place is a hidden little gem, with direct beach access and an infinity pool. We were there on a weekend, so the DJ was playing some loud house music, only negative aspect as we couldn't have a conversation without yelling. The food was delicious, as I went for the catch of the day. The sauces were also really good, as well as the seafood rice. The servers were all so attentive and fast at service. Just stunning views, not to be missed while in Accra!
