Staff was very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our biscuits! I realized it wasn't what I expected for my 3 kids and I, but they were great at accommodating us as we blended in! I would definitely stop back by for more breakfast at this sweet honey hole spot.

Great food, the best but the owner guy gives the absolute smallest portions. Showing up hungry hoping to get what you’re used to and then you see the owner guy behind the counter serving food it makes you almost want to go somewhere else knowing what you’re about to get portion wise. The portion sizes his gives you for the price you’re paying is ridiculous. Update: 11/1/2025 tried them again today and the same owner guy was there giving out children sized portions. Great food but not worth it when this guy gives out dinky size portions when paying full price.

2023 post - I have enjoyed breakfast here (nearly) every Saturday since discovering it in late 2015. I meet friends monthly to catch up and enjoy a Pork Tenderloin Biscuit. There is no other place around that has a biscuit like this. Dining area finally reopened mid-summer 2023. During dining room closure we tailgated in the parking lot. 2016 post - Favorite place for biscuits in the area! Friendly people that work there.... quick service.

Best breakfast around without a question...very healthy portions and delicious!! Had a biscuit with gravy, 2 scrambled & 3 sausage links for under $5...incredible & tasty!! These guys are the best!!

Great biscuit Options. Large loaded biscuits enough for two. Excellent place for a morning meet with friends or get to go to make a whole office happy

I ordered biscuits and gravy with hamburger steak and grits. The portions are huge great food really nice people.

Best breakfast hands down the customers were generous and the staff was welcoming I would highly recommend if you ever in Woodstock make sure to visit you won’t be disappointed I’m ready to go back.

You wouldn't think a gem would exist in a fuel station! We've been going to S&J for a few years. If we have time, the biscuits and gravy are wonderful. If I have to get on the road right away, the biscuit is the way to go. Steak, tenderloin, chicken (even spicy chicken!), sausage and with scrambled or fried egg and cheese if you want it! I've seen the line reaching to the door during the week. Leo, the cashier, is a busy guy. He'll talk to you once he recognizes you.

Love their breakfast! Woodstock's best kept secret. If there's a line, it's worth the wait!

You wouldn't think that this place, in a Texaco gas station, would be a go to for people but it is because it's AMAZING! We order it every weekend as you can't go wrong with their biscuits or their cheese grits!

I was in the area and asked someone for a food recommendation. They highly recommend S&J Kitchen. I tend to be a snobby eater and was highly skeptical that anything in an old gas station could be good. I was so wrong. It was great! Had a fantastic bacon biscuit. The biscuit was homemade, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The bacon was good quality and a generous amount. I regret living far from here but will stop again if in the area.

Best tenderloin buscuits in town. Can't eat enough. I wish they were closer to our home! So good!

This is a little place inside the Texaco station. You come here for a fantastic price and a meal on the go. I had eggs/bacon. I didn't order the biscuits/gravy but the 3 guys ahead of me did. Biscuits definitely looked homemade and they were refilling the gravy. Only 3 booths but this is definitely more of good wholesome food when in a hurry. Service was fast/quick. Definitely a mom/pop outfit. I was in/out in less than 10 minutes and back on the road.

The food incredible, The staff are all pleasant except the for the guy who runs the register, I assume he is the owner. I feel that he is truly a racist. He is rude as hell and makes it very obvious that he doesn't even want to speak to you when you are paying for your food.
