The Best Restaurants and Food Carts in Sandy, Oregon | Eater Portland

"The Sandlandia World Cuisine pod hosts a handful of carts serving everything from tacos to breakfast burritos, cheesesteaks to boba tea, crepes to gyros. The Quarter Pipe Biscuit sandwich from Breakfast in the Hood — a biscuit loaded with fried chicken, cheddar, and fried egg — is a must for skiers and snowboarders on their way to the mountain. On the way back, grab a mushroom cheesesteak from Mount Hood Cheesesteaks or a hot sandwich from The Cast Iron Skillet."

These are food carts with a lot of different and delicious options and generous hours. Parking isn't too hard to come by, and there's a little area for dining in the middle of the pod. Really cute, clean, and nice option, especially for groups that can't agree on what type of food to eat!

5 stars only for the Thai food cart because they are the only cart who actually honors the hours of operation and they have consistent delicious food. Every other food cart is always closed.

Breakfast Burrito in the Northwest! I can’t say enough great things about this food truck! The breakfast burrito is hands-down the best in the Northwest, and I personally love adding their delicious gravy on top—it's a game-changer. They offer a variety of breakfast items that are perfect for anyone craving high-quality, satisfying meals. Even though they serve burritos and other items that might seem like they're leaning toward Mexican cuisine, the menu really caters to American tastes with an awesome, approachable twist. I've been supporting this spot for a while, and the owner is just amazing. She's poured her heart into building this brand, and you can really feel that in every bite. The food is always fresh and well-prepared, and I love stopping by whenever I can. If you’re heading up to Mt. Hood or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. Their food is consistently great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you can tell they care about their customers. I know they’ve got what it takes to go even further—both in terms of their food and their brand. So, if you’re looking for an incredible breakfast to kick-start your day, this is the spot! What do you think? Are you excited to try?

We loved this place! Although some carts were closed when we went the ones that were open definitely made up for!
