Sandman Signature Glasgow Hotel

Great option! We stayed overnight to watch a concert at the OVO. I thought it was very well located, between the arena and the bus station. Near a lot of great restaurants and pubs. Molly (sorry if I got your name wrong) was very nice and polite when we checked in. The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the colorful lights. The bathroom very accessible for a bigger person. The breakfast buffet was tasty with many options. Great stay. Will be coming back later

Cannot fault this hotel. Was originally booked in for an apartment but this popped up and looked really good. Didn't disappoint. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The room was much bigger than I imagined. And had some lovely touches. Like the control for the lights behind the headboard of the bed. The simple to use heating system. The shower was absolutely amazing and powerful too. The bed was massive and the room was immaculate. 10/10 from me. Would love to come back in the future. Oh and it's in a superb location close to everything you could need. Until next time sandman!

Me and my partner visited this hotel as a small getaway weekend to see Glasgow/Edinburgh at Christmas time - overall, can’t fault the hotel it was lovely, spacious rooms and staff were very friendly and attentive. ||I was a bit sceptical at first as when I seen it I was under the impression this hotel was quite far out of town. However, it’s really not at all. It’s situated right off Sauchiehall Street and is only a 5/10 minute walk into the centre.||We had a few drinks in the hotel bar before going out for dinner and overall was okay, the service was quite slow however they were rather busy so it really didn’t bother us. Still had a lovely evening and the drinks were quite well priced. ||As lovely and spacious as the hotel was, I do think there could be a bit more attention spent on the rooms. I understand it’s a busy time of year however there were small things that we noticed such as dust on the carpet when we first entered, rings left from cups on the cabinets and a couple of maintenance issues too. ||Overall though, if you’re looking for a well equipped hotel with great offerings close to the town then I would recommend on the hope this was just a one off. Wouldn’t put me off and I think we’ll definitely be back at some point!

Twin room we had was two double beds and they were so comfy . |Microwave and fridge in room is a brilliant extra |Plenty of fresh clean towels in bathroom. Bathroom was a good size and spotless as well.|We will definitely be back.|Thank you for a fantastic stay.

We cancelled our booking with Sandman afte receiving poor customer service. We booked via expedia and on the listing there was no info about the Glasgow LEZ. Being from a smaller city in NZ, this wasnt something we even thought about. You are not informed until after booking & once I read the message and looked into it I messaged the hotel asking for information on what others do or parking options if we want to avoid the fine. I also mentioned that having this information available before booking wouldve been helpful & not only making holidayers aware of it after they paid & booked. The reply I got was short & blunt. "It is mentioned in the message above" then quotes the message. For more information go to the government website. No helpful information on parking options, or local knowledge shared. Safe to say, we did not find this helpful and decided to find a hotel outside of the zone. Customer service goes a long way. Its not hard to be helpful to tourists who don't understand exactly how something works. and yes, I had already looked at the government site before asking more specific questions. We are looking forward to our Glasgow stay at a more helpful & friendly hotel.

This is our 3rd stay at this hotel. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, food and service were great.. staff really helpful and friendly. Rooms are ok.. bit tired in places. Our biggest stress was the car parking. This car park is too small for the number of cars they allow. We couldn’t get back in our car due to how close the car next to us had parked.. impossible to get out, staff did their best but this could easily be rectified by having less car spaces in use. We waited over an hour for the person who had blocked us in to move. Really ruined our stay and will make us reconsider staying again

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Sandman Hotel. The room looked fine at first glance, but once I pulled back the bedding I found large stains on the mattress cover. It gave the impression that the bed hadn’t been properly cleaned or checked before I arrived.||For a hotel that markets itself as comfortable and modern, basic cleanliness shouldn’t be an issue — especially when it comes to something as important as the bed. I ended up feeling uneasy about the overall hygiene of the room.||Staff were polite, but this kind of issue shouldn’t be happening in the first place. I’d expect much higher standards and better attention to detail. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again unless cleanliness significantly improves.

Stayed here last week with friends after a gig - a really beautiful, modern, aesthically pleasing hotel with incredibly comfortable beds. The staff we dealt with were all super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness needs improved upon massively. The surfaces in the room and bathroom needed wiped down, ALL of them were dusty, the trims in the shower need a good scrub (pink = bacteria). There was also a tub of boiled rice in the fridge from previous guests so that clearly isn't being cleaned out 😂 maybe it was a case of cleaning staff making beds & emptying bins then heading on to the next room, but for a relatively new hotel this will need addressed otherwise the standard of the hotel is going to nosedive fast.
