Had a great time sitting outside and having a sandwich a Sunday. Service was immediate. Recommendations were spot on, and like the rest of the comments say you come for the sandwiches, but you stay for the bread. Decent portion and was full after.

My new favorite go to sandwich shop. So gooood! I was a little skeptical about the spicy chicken banh mi considering I’m Vietnamese and this being a non Viet restaurant, but they did not disappoint! The pickled veggies are fire! I’ve also tried the mushroom cheesesteak, green goddess chicken Cesar, and now their lunch box special and so far every sandwich has slapped. Also get to flip a coin from 3-6 and get 50% off your meal which I got today! Winning!

Excellent experience at IVY Pet. I always bring my dog Charlie and the care is outstanding. Special thanks to Daisy, the receptionist, for her kindness and professionalism. The entire team truly cares about the animals. Highly recommend IVY Pet!

Great new sandwich shop in the area I have been 4 times now I work in the area as a super of a building. And it is a healthier choice option to eat. My go to are the turkey meatball sub, and the lunchbox special. The staff is always up beat and welcoming. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Sandwell has quickly become my go-to sandwich spot! They offer a great variety of warm and cold sandwiches, all made fresh to order. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. My absolute favorite is the Green Goddess Chicken Caesar Sub—it’s packed with flavor and feels both satisfying and light at the same time. I also love that they call themselves Healthyish. It’s the perfect way to describe them because their sandwiches feel like a guilty pleasure, but without the guilt. They use the cleanest, best ingredients, so I can enjoy something indulgent while still knowing it’s made with care. If you’re looking for sandwiches that are delicious, fresh, and a little better for you, Sandwell is the place!

Delicious sandwich spot! We got the mushroom cheesesteak and the seasonal special Calabrian hot honey chicken and both were phenomenal. Might go back tomorrow to try some more!

So glad I found this place, easily my favorite new lunch spot in the city. The turkey meatball sandwich is incredible.

I can't believe I didn't realize Thanksgiving sandwiches are actually a thing until this year. A friend told me that Sandwell sells them before Thanksgiving, so I decided to come here and order one for dinner. They call it the "Ross sandwich" as a homage to the Friends tv show where one episode features a Thanksgiving sandwich Monica had made for Ross that got eaten by someone else. There is also a "Rachel sandwich" but I'm not sure the origin of that one. The sandwich comes sliced in half and it's very easy to eat (you won't have stuff falling out). There are a handful of tables indoors and outdoors which is great since you can enjoy your warm sandwich immediately. I looooved the Ross sandwich--it came with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing all in a delicious semolina sub roll. I also got a bottle of the ginger lemonade which was good. We ordered the pesto chicken salad as well which was alright, but I definitely preferred the sandwich. I wanted to order another one immediately!

I ordered the turkey meatball and while the filling itself was generous, the overall experience fell a bit short. The meatballs had a good texture but it was under seasoned. The bread was a basic white sub roll which I prefer for cold cuts but not a hot sandwich. Would be nice if they had rustic or sourdough bread options.. I'll give this place another try..

I've just had a sandwich that was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I'll be dreaming about it. Had to come here and rave about it. I'm not into gatekeeping. Give these guys your service!! I had the Ross, one of their two Thanksgiving-themed sandwiches. It's better than a Thanksgiving leftover sandwich I could've made at home. Turkey, the good kind not the deli kind. Chicken apple sausage stuffing which was delicious. Some type of herb mayo. Tons of customizations. I added truffled mushrooms which were also fantastic and some provolone. Many veggies, meats, and sauces you can pay extra to add on. If the restaurant is reading this, add baby corn to the sandwich or make it a customizable option. Please and thank you! Would round out the Thanksgiving palette. The only downside is it's not as big as I would've hoped for a $16-20 sandwich. But they do delivery to my office in Times Square if you order on their site for just a $2 delivery fee + tip. Last thing, get the side of 2 pickles for $2. They're really good!

For Thanksgiving, they are offering the Ross (recreation of the infamous Thanksgiving sandwich from the show) and the Rachel for a limited time. One of the staff recommended the Rachel to me which had maple turkey, coleslaw, swiss cheese, pickles, and thousand island. It was actually so delicious, and I am 10000% going back to try other ones. Huge sandwich too so perfect for sharing!

I'm so happy that I found out about this place. I ordered Chicken Pesto Burrata. And damn it didn't disappoint. Chicken was flavored so well with an awesome taste. The Pesto was the topping of an awesome meal. I've had Pesto before but this reigns high in the best tasting Pesto. The bread made so well and oh my G*D the wrapping I was so impressed unwrapping my meal. It was like opening up a birthday gift with layers of wrapping to reveal the surprise. And You should be surprised here too, try the Chicken Pesto or anything else on their menu You would be pleasantly surprised. Of note the managers and All their staff are excellent customer service skills the way they deal with everyone

Had to try the Ross as a huge fan of Friends! A tasty Thanksgiving treat. And then I needed a side of veggies so I went with the broccoli. I want to try the other location near me but this one was very good!

I am overjoyed to have a vegan-friendly sandwich spot in the neighborhood! I feel like there are not a ton of fast casual vegan-friendly spots nearby, apart from Plantega so this is a fabulous addition. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and they have a fire playlist every time I've come in. Needless to say I've been here three times and will be a regular for the foreseeable future. I also love that they have a vegan sandwich on the menu (The Remy) that's labeled. I don't have to substitute anything and hope they get it right, it's 100% vegan and 1000% filling. We love stress-free ordering! If you are vegan and want to try the spot, I highly recommend it! The sandwich is packed with roasted red peppers, baked eggplant cutlet, caramelized onions, cherry tomatoes, housemade zucchini pickles, basil oil, spinach, and a yummy toasted cannellini spread. I hope they add more vegan options or ways to veganize the other sandwiches so I can't get sick of the Remy!

Big portions but basic taste. It's a good spot for a quick lunch but would not recommend if you had to stand in line for it. The chicken in my sandwich was dry but the bread was nice. Fast and predictable sandwich if you're on the go.

Well? I'm not as impressed with Sandwell as the yelp* community. I made a trip to sample their goods, and they didn't live up to their reputation. I ordered a Chicken Pesto sandwich and it was a bit dull. The Chicken was a bit dry, and it wasn't properly dressed. I thought $15 for the sandwich was fair, but $4 for a soda was ridiculous. My bill was $20.69. Thank U next!

Best sandwiches in this neighborhood in decades. Turkey meatball and chicken parm amazing - so I haven't tried anything else yet.

Delicious, warm and fresh sandwiches, happy that they opened a Gramercy location. Had SPICY CHICKEN BANH MI, and GREEN GODDESS CHICKEN CAESAR

The food here hit every note just right. Their food balances flavors so well you'll be stunned with every taste. I find this place remarkably different. Guest attention exceeds normal expectations! We received great care and good meals.

top ingredients on every sandwich; nicest people to talk to and deal with - just love this place this is more than a sandwich shop! TRUST ME! you must go !!!! We are the lucky ones! The best part of my day is seeing Vinnie and Lizzie and the staff- you walk out smiling!

Didn't have high hopes for this place because they are meat and dairy intensive but I live in the neighborhood and wanted to try it out. I ordered the only two vegan options they had; a hero (The Remy) and salad (Truffled Mushroom). The ingredients, including the bread and salad dressing, were fresh and sooo good. I will definitely be back soon and order the same. Hopefully they offer more vegan options in the future including soup. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Sandwell is great. Friendly staff, fair prices, reliably quick and yummy. The only disappointment is unfortunately their sandwich bread isn't very good, but the menu is strong overall.

OMG, so good! Possibly the best Cobb Salad I've ever had. With flavorful chicken, lightly marinated cherry tomatoes -- and that maple vinaigrette dressing was astonishingly good. Everything was so fresh. I would be tempted to put this in a salad bowl, serve it to guests and pretend I made it. Nice people behind the counter, too. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This is a new sandwich shop in Gramercy, something that has been much needed in the neighborhood as there's literally nowhere to get a decent sandwich. got the chicken caeser sub and it was delicious. could tell ingredients were quality and a good portion. prices are also very fair. highly recommend and excited to try the other sandwiches on the menu. a huge addition to the neighborhood.
