Chermside Sandwiches in Harajuku is a great spot for a quick but delicious meal. The food is really tasty, the meat is flavorful and well-seasoned, both in the medium and well-done versions. You can tell they take care with the ingredients and preparation. If you’re visiting with someone, one sandwich is enough to share. The “Meat” sandwich is especially good and worth trying. The place you first enter, is quite small and can get crowded, but it has a cozy vibe. If you prefer a more comfortable setting, ask the staff to guide you to their second location just a few steps away. It has more seating and a nice view overlooking Takeshita Street, perfect for people-watching while you eat. Tips • 🥪 Share a sandwich if you’re two people — portions are big. • 🥩 Both medium and well-done meats are tasty and juicy. • 📍 The first entrance is small; ask to be seated in the second location nearby. • 🌆 The other spot has a great view of Takeshita Street. • 💸 Prices are fair for Harajuku and the quality is totally worth it.

Overall, the sandwich is pretty decent. My estimation is that it has around 200 grams of beef, which is quite generous for the price. The meat itself isn’t particularly high quality, but the sauce ties it together nicely. It’s definitely worth trying, though I wouldn’t wait more than 10 minutes for it. Pro tip: if there’s a long line at the main branch, check the second branch in the next building (3rd floor) when I visited, it had no wait at all.

This was on my must try list for quite a while and I wasn’t disappointed… I have just found my no.1 steak sandwich, super tender wagyu beef cooked to perfection,nice soft butter bread and the flavours of the sauce and spice are a perfect match…side of chip nice and fresh, match with a sneaky beer made my day.. If the line is long,be patient and they will assist you in getting you what your belly desires. They will pull people out of the line if there is space to another section, just fellow the staff and your taste buds will be rewarded .. The staff and super friendly and helpful with your orders and service 🙏🏼

Absolutely delicious sandwiches and wonderful service! 😊 We stopped by for a quick bite and ended up genuinely impressed. The sandwiches were very tasty 👌 The staff were super friendly and genuinely helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. ☺️

Yes, it’s all over IG. Yes, the place is small. Yes, the sandwich’s are huge. Even though the sandwich’s are huge, they are actually really really tasty. Like one of the best steak sandwiches I’ve had. The fries(chips) are also really good, potato chip outside, baked potato inside. Get the house soda, it’s gingery and spiced and I’m very sad I won’t have the chance to have another anytime soon.

Visited Japan about a month ago and currently reminiscing about these unreal LOADED sandos we got from Chermside 🥪🔥 Here’s what we tried: - Katsu box (tonkatsu sandwich with tusks) - Meat box (meat sandwich with fries) - To drink; Lemon Blue TO THE FUTURE, Iyoshi Craft Cola When I say loaded you see what I mean right lol but the size was just one thing, the flavours were POPPING 🤤 the meat was so tender and yummy and then came the katsu box omgggg 👀 I’m not even a huge pork person but this tonkatsu blew us away, it was so juicy and dripping in flavour !!! We seriously indulged in this meal lol 😆 the drinks were also super refreshing, our favourite was the lemon blue! So tangy and sweet 🍋 Also how cute is their ambiance with the colourful art ?! I loved it haha 🥺 Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us even amidst the rush hour! We appreciate it 🥰 So what are you waiting for ?! They’ve done a great job with marketing because they are tucked far in and yet very busy. Located on 2F. At night, they are sold out of everything except the meat and egg. Both were delicious. The fries were good too.

I ordered the Meat Box and the Strawberry Smoothie and they were delicious! Very well seasoned meat and honestly so filling! The space is a bit small and the food does take some time to prepare. I went in and was told there would be about a 30 minute wait for the food to be done so I reserved a seat to dine in and was given a little beeper to notify me when ready. I didn’t mind the wait at all and spent some time walking around Takeshita Street. Food was delicious and worth the wait! Staff was also very kind 😊
