Sandwich Republic

| September 28th, 2025 | On this day, my husband and I were in the mood for a good sandwich while shopping at Springfield Mall. As we searched for a nearby sandwich spot, we stumbled upon Sandwich Republic. The ratings looked promising, so we decided to see what the hype was about. We tried two sandwiches: the BBQ Chicken Breast with coleslaw and chipotle BBQ sauce, and the Braised Short Ribs. While both were flavorful, juicy, and fresh, the Braised Short Ribs really stood out for me. It was definitely the winner in terms of taste and tenderness. The atmosphere of the place was welcoming and cozy, and the owner was incredibly friendly. The service was excellent, which made the experience even better. It's a cute place with good food that's perfect for my lunch break. Everything tastes fresh (my sandwich was still good after two days in the fridge. The lettuce was still crispy!) and the sandwiches are a good size at around $10 each. The atmosphere is also good with nice decor and kind people. It's a small place, but not too busy either. I highly recommend Sandwich Republic.

Incredible. We love our sandwiches and these two really hit the spot. The toasted Italian was exactly what you want an Italian sandwich to taste like and the Korean Galbi Short Rib special was delicious. Any wait to come back.

The Short Rib sandwich used to have so much more meat and was a top tier sandwich in the area. Please revert back to the old way of preparing it, I would rather raise the price then to change the way it is made. Photo comparison from 2015 and 2025.

We checked this out because it is really close to our favorite butcher. We tried the BLT which we got cold, and the bacon was super thin and piled high- just like it should be, but next time warm with toasted bread would’ve been better. The braised short rib, warm, was also so delicious and piled high. Really excellent flavor to the meet and fresh veg. Everybody who worked there was super friendly.

Delicious! We had the Cuban, which was zesty and full of flavor, the Grilled Chicken, where the avocado melted in each bite, and the Chipotle sandwich, which our daughter almost finished without sharing, it was so good! That and the cute atmosphere made it a very nice dine-in experience. The raised flower beds around the outside of the restaurant gave it an extra relaxed ambiance, as well.

My first time coming here and when I say I enjoyed everything. The service was beyond great, the staff was amazing and the inside of the store feels very relaxing and comfortable. A nice place just to take a break and eat and meal by yourself or with others. The aesthetics are really easy on the eyes. I came with a guest in my party and we ordered a few sandwiches and I can say for sure I enjoyed each and every bite of the sandwiches. I cannot choose a favorite because I definitely enjoyed every sandwich I was able to get a bite of. I love how all the sandwiches were wrapped and had the names on top of them. I enjoyed each sandwich because they each had their own unique taste to them. I am someone who enjoys sandwiches and for me just my personal review I would give them a 10/10 because of my experience and how I enjoyed all the food. I will definitely be back and invite more guest next time I go.
