Sandwich Sandwich

Very delicious sandwiches. We had the egg sandwich and the hot chicken sandwich. The portions are huge. You could easily share one sandwich and leave the restaurant very full. The burger bun could have been toasted as well - it was cold. It was very good and I would definitely come back. Next time we would share a sandwich 😂

Had lunch here on Thursday. I’ve been to the other branch before so knew to expect a huge sandwich! The layout of this branch is better than the St Paul’s one. Allows for orders via screens (lots of them) and plenty of space while you wait for your food. The selection of sandwiches is really strong. When I was looking at the menu I wanted to eat every one and was hard to choose which to go for. In the end I went for southern fried chicken. Came with lots of lettuce. It was very busy but only waited about 7 minutes for it to be made and my name called. The food itself is tasty. Trying to eat it is a challenge as it’s so big but you just have to go for it. A bit like trying to eat a huge burger. Would highly recommend. I’ll definitely be going back to try something else.

Such an amazing, convenient, and tasty go-to spot. All ingredients are super super fresh and great tasting. Can get busy during peak lunchtime hours but great service either way. Come here you’ll not be disappointed 👌

I came the first time today and this is hands down the best sandwich I have ever had I ordered the chicken Kyiv Sandwich and a scotch egg the atmosphere was really good cooks preparing the food looked happy overall great experience will be back again.

Ok, nothing to write home about in all honesty. Like most fad's the products appear fantastic on social media platforms but in reality the sandwich lacked any standout features in terms of taste. We visited on a Saturday lunch time, pretty quiet and able to place orders through tablets located in the establishment. Place was spotlessly clean, and service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend to try if you are in the area but don't set your expectations to high

Always used to order via delivery and loved it and when the store opened locally, expectations were high. The food is still great, portions large and mostly justifying the higher than usual pricing compared to other nearby places. However, the in store experience is lacking. The kiosks are slow to react to sold out products on the hot section. I have had to make up to three complete orders before, choosing hot food, only to get to the end and be disappointed all three times as the item is sold out. If the decision is that hot food is only available to and from certain times then the front screen should just show that. Amongst my group we have been several times and never gotten to eat hot food. The lack of a screen to let you know where your order is in the process isn't helpful. So many people see others that have ordered after them come and go and wonder what's happened to their order, end up bothering the staff who have to pause what they're doing, thus making someone else's order slower, so it would just help the process. It would also save the servers voices having to continually bellow out completed order numbers, as the music is so loud they have to compete with it. The tables and chairs being placed directly under the kiosks seems a little bit of a social faux pas, as people often end up eating their sandwiches with other patrons bums in their faces as they try to use the kiosks. All in all the food is still great but the layout and functionality of some of the store elements could use refining.

I was really excited to see that a new branch of Sandwich Sandwich had opened in the city, and I was definitely not disappointed. There are both screens to order, and you can also order at the counter. It was extremely busy but the queueing system worked well and the service was actually really quick. The sandwich was absolutely HUGE, genuinely the biggest sandwich I’ve ever had. I went for the coronation chicken and it was delicious, very fresh tasting ingredients and very flavoursome. Very good value for the size of the sandwich, and I will 100% be coming back on my next lunch break

I have wanted to try Sandwich Sandwich for a really long time, so was very excited when one opened by my office. I went in a Wednesday at peak lunchtime. There wasn’t a queue. There are many screens to take your order, it’s very easy. Collection for orders made on the phone looked simple. The sandwich is big. Very big. I wish there was an option to order half a sandwich. It is generously filled, however it does make it hard to eat. This is a classic sandwich. The bread, the fillings and the overall taste. A classic sandwich done well rather than something that’s super creative. I enjoyed my sandwich but not sure I’ll be back in a hurry. A lot of hype meant that I had very high expectations and just wasn’t blown away.
