Jiu jitsu steak sandwich

Google
Lil spot, with delicious sandwiches, and excellent customer service. It’s a place to eat and go, no bathroom and somewhat difficult to find parking. Their chairs are extremely uncomfortable not for larger bodies but we weren’t there that long. I def recommend based on food.

Google
The Philly Special and the Holy Cow were both AMAZING! Every bite was so tasty and satisfying. Quick service, no long wait at all and customer service was excellent, friendly and attentive .This is definitely one of the best sandwich spots I’ve been to. I’ll be coming back soon!

Google
We saw a video about this restaurant and decided to try it...and I'm glad we did! We got the a pineapple guava shake, Philly Special, Spanish Pig in Italy, and Jiu-Jitsu Steak. First, the shake tasted just like the fruit. (FYI- she mixed two flavors together because I ordered two shakes.) My husband said the Spanish pig had the best flavor-well seasoned and the pork went well with the broccoli rabe and cheese. The Philly Cheese was so full of meat and the cheese sauce was perfection. The bread was toasted and this was my favorite! The Jiu-Jitsu was the reason we went here... and it was a bit of a let down after the first two sandwiches. There was a lot of steak which was great, but there wasn't a ton of flavor; it needed salt. Then with the onions and plantain, it was very sweet. The chimichurri sauce needed more of a punch. Everything was so hot and fresh!! Great and fast service. There are a few stools and and tables inside. Overall, an amazing place and we want to try more next time.

Google
This little spot was on our bucket list and it did Not disappoint! Its located off the beaten path and draws people in from NY as well. Sandwichitos is the perfect eatery to satisfy even the hungriest or pickiest eaters - like Me!! (Girl with Birthday Crown 👑 Today we shared the DR 3 Hits, the Phily Cheesesteak and the steak Jiu Jitsu and we ordered the Passion, Mango $ the Papaya shakes 😋 EVERYTHING was on and as you can see there was Nothing left over on my tray! Sandwichitos is on point and the vibe was super chill with a great playlist. 🎼🎵 Staff was warm and welcoming and this is definitely a place i will return too!! If you're thinking about it just GO 😋👍🙌🎼🎵🎊 You wont be disappointed

Google
OMG!!! A++++ The food was so good. Very welcoming environment. Place is a little small so seating might be limited so have a backup plan to eat in the car etc, But so worth it. First time here we drove 45min just to try this place and let me tell you it did not disappoint. We ordered the Jiu Jitsu Steak Sandwhich Philly Cheesesteak French Cuban Sandwhich D.R 3 Hits or a 3 golpes in spanish!!! We also hot the tater total and sweet potatoes tots with cheese sauce and others. We were full but took a Tres Leches cake to go. We will definitely be back to try other menu item!!

Google
I was sent a video about this place and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the Philly steak sandwich that I got and my brothers and my dad enjoyed it as well. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Google
Great sandwich spot!! We got ours To-go! The papaya shake was delicious! Spanish pig was well balanced. The Philly special was gooey and cheesy. Totally we’re still crispy when we got home!

Google
Unique Sandwiches, but Parking is a Challenge My husband found this spot on TikTok, so we made the 45-minute drive to check it out. First off—be warned, parking is a nightmare. There’s almost no designated parking, and the entire street is marked “No Parking Anytime.” We took a risk parking in a nearby lot that also had “No Parking” signs. The place itself is very small, with limited seating—just one high-top table, one low table, and a couple of window bar-style spots. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. We tried the Jiu Jitsu Steak sandwich (super messy—definitely grab napkins!) and the Holy Cow, which packed some serious heat. Our kids had the chicken fingers, which were actually sliced-up chicken cutlets—a unique twist. Overall, the sandwiches were creative and tasty, but the parking situation and limited space might make it tough for a return visit.

Yelp
Sandwiches were out of this world. Service was awesome. Sandwiches were definitely among the best I've ever had. The JiuJitsu Steak is very possibly the best steak sandwich ever. Totally stole big bites from the rest of my fam's food. We will totally be making the trip again to make it through the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Holy wow! Now this is a sandwich spot and everyone knows. At some point there was a line out the door and an hour wait, but it moves and it's worth the wait. Also note that there is a way to preorder online AND to order on the computer at the front. Everything is made fresh, clearly from the wait. The bread is everything in a sandwich and this place delivers. All the sandwiches we got were beyond delicious! The staff were all great and gave folks a heads up when the wait increased.

Yelp
f you're looking for a sandwich spot that delivers on flavor, Sandwichitos is the place to go. Every bite was packed with bold, well-balanced flavors, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. Here's a breakdown of what I tried: Steak Sandwich with Chimichurri Sauce - This was easily one of the highlights. The steak was tender and well-seasoned, cooked just right with a nice sear. The chimichurri sauce took it to another level--garlicky, herby, and with just the right amount of acidity to cut through the richness of the meat. The bread was perfectly toasted, holding everything together without getting soggy. The Red Machine (Chicken Cutlet Sandwich) - A great take on a classic. The chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sandwich was layered with just the right toppings to enhance the flavor without overwhelming the crispy texture. The bread was soft yet sturdy, making every bite satisfying. Tater Tots - These were crispy, golden perfection. Perfectly seasoned and fried to a crunch, they made for an addictive side dish. Tres Leches Cake - Absolutely phenomenal. The cake was moist, soaked just right without being overly sweet, and topped with a light whipped cream that tied everything together beautifully. It was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, Sandwichitos is a spot that knows how to do sandwiches right. Every element, from the bread to the fillings to the sauces, is thoughtfully put together. If you're a sandwich lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Great idea. It's a simple spot that sells sandwiches and it works perfectly. I loved the food, really good sandwiches with creative touches. I had the Philly Special, which was delicious. It came out hot, steamy, and super satisfying. The batch was fresh and honestly had me salivating. The space is small, kind of like a Chinese takeout spot but with better vibes and more seating. We sat down and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We also tried the shakes, and they were very good. The staff was super attentive and welcoming. It's a little pricey, but it feels like a treat-yourself kind of place, perfect for once in a while. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it for anyone craving unique, specialty sandwiches.

Yelp
Really nice people with some well thought out sandwiches. However, I'm afraid I was not overwhelmed by the product. I only tried the Holy Cow sandwich, so I could only say what I thought about that one. It had some nice spice with the jalapeños but it was too salty and the steak was overcooked. In addition to that I paid approximately 40.00 dollars for one sandwich with tator tots and two bottles of water including a 20% tip. Too expensive for a sandwich. I don't have a problem paying the price but I think it should be perfect for that amount. The place is very busy and has a small sitting area, they do have tables outside but it was raining limiting the seating. Nice music playing but the sandwich, oh the sandwich!!! Just wasn't up to par.
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Entrance was nice neon signs -you come in tiny place a little overcrowded- We ordered the holy cow sandwich sounded all good-but the salty flavor was a little overwhelming for me , the shredded steak charred so that delicious chipotle sauce could not be absorbed sadly. I wish they would have left the steak more rare. Tartars crunchy but again too salty for my taste. Service was good attentive and quick. This was a shared meal $40 with two bottles of water-hmmmm not sure it was worth it . Besides what I experienced the place was full
google avatar

Yelp
I didn't like the bread, but the steak was good ......could of used a little more cheese too
google avatar

Marc F.

Yelp
We ordered three sandwiches: the Philly cheesesteak, grilled cheese, and steak sandwich. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. My cheesesteak was overly salty, lacked cheese, and while it was supposed to include onions, I couldn't find any. The bread was tough and chewy, leading my daughter and me to believe it wasn't fresh. The tater tots were standard, frozen bagged tots--nothing special or elevated about them. To make matters worse, the Philly cheesesteak was priced at $20, which felt outrageous considering the quality. For that price, I could get a Wagyu cheesesteak from Water & Wine in Somerset County that is far superior in every way. The restaurant has no parking lot and only a few street parking spots available. Inside, there are just ten shared seats and a very limited side menu. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, and the place appeared clean. However, the food did not live up to the hype created by their social media. The online promotions make it seem like a hidden gem, but the actual experience fell far short of expectations. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially given the price point.
google avatar

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
We ordered jiujitzu steak sandwich. The bread was nicely crispy but not overly crispy where it's flaking off and making a mess. The steak was seasoned nicely and it filled the sandwich nicely. Surprisingly, the steak doesn't fall out of the sandwich making a mess. The chimichurri sauce was tasting but it did make the sandwich very oily. The restaurant has about 4 places to sit inside and eat so it's not a large place. This is definitely a sandwich that needs to be eaten right after it cooked so it doesn't get soggy from the chimichurri sauce.

Yelp
Finally I am able to stop by and wow how did it take me this long? First time I came was during the hype period where you needed to make advance orders through their IG and sandwiches were sold out. It left a sour taste to drive all the way, expecting an amazing sandwich only to be turned away. However nearly a year later I finally ate sandwiches to my hearts content. It's hard to say which is my favorite. We ordered the jiu jitsu, the Cuban, and the holy cow. All 3 were amazing, you can't go wrong. If you're feeling more in the beef mood get the jiu jitsu. The Cuban had a great crunch at the bottom and the cheese pull was immaculate! And I really enjoyed the holy cow the a slight kick and sweetness and the chipotle sauce. I personally am learning towards the holy cow. Eating it right at the restaurant makes it even better in my opinion. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
Food is great delicious and take time no rush on you're order. Sandwiches are close to 8 & 10 on a 1 -10 scale. Great environment. Parking on street.
google avatar

Rebecca K.

Yelp
No joke - best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I couldn't make up my mind, and neither could my two friends, so we decided to order 3 different sandwiches and try a bit of each. The red machine sandwich was unreal. I never thought I could think a simple chicken sandwich with cheese and sauce would be amazing but it was absolutely phenomenal. The jiu jitsu steak sandwich and the DR 3 hits were also delicious. The place is very clean and everyone was very nice and made great recommendations. Parking is a little tough nearby but there are options within walking distance.
google avatar

Yelp
Walked into this little shop not expecting much but i was amazed by these sandwiches. The place is small has a couple tables ,clean and good music. As soon as you walk in they greet you which is a nice change. The food is fresh made to order will definitely be going back!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the dirty south sandwich on uber eats and delivery was really quick/well packaged. Sandwich was really unique - their spin on buffalo chicken but included onion rings which really elevated the taste. The chicken tasted high quality and fresh. I would love to try it there as it was cold and I ended up microwaving but that is not the fault of the restaurant, just how take out is and microwaving did the trick! Will definitely be returning to try other sandwiches and their tater tots too next time. The price seemed steep for a sandwich but after trying I completely understand the price - we shared one sandwich and it was more than enough food. Highly highly recommend trying!

Yelp
I wish I could tell you I'll be back but this was not the case. I had high expectations for this place as I've seen it advertised a lot on social media and my husband has had it bookmarked for a while. First of all the prices for the sandwiches are insane , $18.50 for a sandwich- don't get me wrong they're huge you can share one but wow. Second of all you will get messy with any option you choose. I asked for their most popular sandwiches and was told the jiu jitsu steak , the French Cuban and the 4 cheese grilled cheese- so I ordered them all. The jiu jitsu steak was smothered in chimichurri sauce but like to the extreme where it was just so overwhelming. The chimichurri sauce wasn't even good, I left more than half the sandwich because I couldn't eat it, the meat was blah. Next up was the French Cuban , nothing was wrong with it but nothing was out of the ordinary either - the taste was just eh. The 4 cheese grilled cheese was the only one worth eating as it wasn't terrible, but even so I did not finish it . We did get some tater tots that were not good and tamarindo juice that tasted like perfume. I would not come back.

Yelp
This spot is a hit!!! Delicious sandwiches with a Dominican/Italian twist to it. The ambience was pretty cool kind of a deli for the counter, but with some sitting spots that you can have your food there. I was able to taste three sandwiches and they were all delicious. The service was great. Even though is a counter to order the lady at the register came to us and asked is everything was OK or if we need it anything else. She was amazing. Definitely recommend this spot

Yelp
I found this place via Yelp as I was searching for a lunch spot on a Friday. I saw the the reviews and pictures and decided to give this place a shot. The place has a clean takeout vibe that has indoor seatings. Menu is on the right side as soon as you walk in. I ended up getting the Jiu Jitsu steak ($18.50) which was solid, meat was marinated and a lil sweet. Got the tater tots ($6.50) which was also solid and a can of ginger ale ($2.50). I was definitely full after finishing the meal. Overall it was a good experience. The total came out to $29.32 (tax included). Kinda steep for me especially for lunch but it was worth the try. * Street parking * Moist toilette available

Yelp
WOW! It was really hard to pick a sandwich, they all sound so delicious and looks even more delicious on their Instagram page. I decided to go with the chicken Milanese - I thought from their Instagram video, the green spread was pesto, but it's actually an olive spread, I don't like olives so I asked for that on the side to try it out because I'm all for trying new things. I normally don't like regular olives, but this olive spread was actually pretty good and really added to the sandwich itself so I ended up just opening my sandwich and spreading it on there, it was so flavorful and delicious. We also got the sweet potato tots, they were crispy and also delicious, the cheese sauce definitely tasted like cheese sauce so if you like cheese, try it out! I had a sip of the passionfruit shake and it was pretty good as well, I also tried my fiancé's steak from Philly special and it was really good. overall, we really enjoyed our meal here and we went during the week around lunchtime, wasn't too busy so we were able to sit down and eat there. I love their clean, modern simplistic look. It's pretty laid back and quiet which is always nice. There's only street parking, I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends so just make sure you give yourself enough time. The service was great. She was really helpful and gave us a lot of great suggestions as we were ordering like the olive spread on the side, the chipotle sauce on the side as I was thinking about getting, another sandwich that had the chipotle sauce again prices are hefty, but it's pretty worth it when and if you have a craving for a good sandwich!

Yelp
We ordered the Philly Special, French Cuban, and Red Machine. Red Machine was good but still just a chicken parm sandwich. Not sure which I loved more the Philly or Cuban. Both very different, both worth trying! The Philly was so cheesy; the onions were chopped so small you'd barely know they were in the sandwich. The bread they use was nicely toasted and the perfect thickness so it didn't take away from what was inside. My parents totally thought the sandwiches were worth the cost. We paid about $70 for the 3 sandwiches, sweet potato tots and passion fruit smoothie. Tots and smoothies are also worth ordering. The toys were hot out of the oven, couldn't even eat at first. I got a a side of chipotle sauce with them that gave a nice kick! The passion fruit smoothie was delicious and I thought a rather large size so worth the cost. Hopefully I can get back sooner than later to try at least two more sandwiches that interest me!

Yelp
It's a very trendy sandwich spot. Very clean and open kitchen. The customer service was out of this world. I ordered the jiu-jitsu steak. An employee, it looked like it was the manager, told me that I should not put cheese on it. I get my better judgment. I followed his advice. Wow I didn't enjoy the flavor of the steak bread and the chimichurri that was on the sandwich, it still was missing some fat. My recommendation for anyone who loves steak and cheese sandwiches, to definitely put it on. As is, I give the steak a six out of 10. I would like to try it again but with Cheese on it next time. Overall experience, I get an eight out of 10 for food service and cleanliness of their restaurant. You should definitely try.
google avatar

Steph R.

Yelp
Sandwiches were tasty and filling and the bread was perfect, tater tots were crispy, and the mango smoothie was just okay. The restaurant staff are friendly and service was fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The only down part is that i didn't see a bathroom to wash my hands after eating and sandwiches can get messy.
google avatar

Yelp
Came back to sandwichitos for late dinner with the urge to try a new sandwich. We stopped in a little after 8pm and fortunately there was no long line, no crowd, and no wait. We ordered the dirty south chicken sandwich and tots and it was definitely enough food for 2 people. Inside is a bit chilly and the music is kinda loud so sitting outside at night with romantic table lighting is deeeeelightful. After a while someone came by to clear our trays and we took our shortcake to go. I'm really glad this place exists and is open late, it's the only quick bite worth eating around here if you're a local. One thing to note, if you're going to order for pickup I wouldn't use an app like grubhub. The dirty south on the menu board is about $18 but on GH it's $24. Happy eating!

Yelp
So happy to have a sandwich place like this in the area! As someone who is weary of sandwiches, the selections this place has are unique and extremely satisfying. We ordered the Jiu-Jitso, Spanish Pig in Italy, Holy Cow, and 3 Hits. My favorite was the 3 Hits but it isn't your typical sandwich if that's what you're going for. The Holy Cow was a bit too saucy for my preference, but my family enjoyed it a lot. I'd try it again but would ask for them to go lighter on the sauce. The flavors are a punch (in a good way!) and their desserts (banana pudding and tres leches) were incredible, though I'd argue the tres leches closer resembled a Dominican cake. This spot was PACKED and everyone seemed to get their shakes, so that's definitely something I'd like to get next time.

Brianna G.

Yelp
Food was amazing!! Packed and worth it, limited seating that's all, 10/10!! I recommend to take one of their desserts for later
google avatar

Priscilla M.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Ingredients were top tier and the staff was super cool and nice. I loved their cute little neon lites. I hope they bring a Sandwichitos to south Jersey soon.
google avatar

Yelp
The cashier was super friendly, minimal seating. Food was delicious, and I love that they have Tator Tots. Overall good experience, will definitely be back.

Yelp
Sandwichitos good asf worth the drive from NY! A lil expensive but w.e you pay for what you get
google avatar

Annie S.

Yelp
I ordered a Philly cheese. It was good, but $20 for a sandwich is diabolical. I also got a smoothie and total came out to be $30. It's okay for a one time splurge.

Yelp
Nestled in the North Bergen/Edgewater area, Sandwichitos is a place to eat that has a homey bodega feel with amazing quality sandwiches. The moment you enter the establishment, you feel a sense of friendliness and welcome. The seating is limited and the store isn't very spacious with barstools along the window and a couple tables along the floor. FOOD ORDERED French Cuban Sandwich: This wasn't the BEST Cuban sandwich I ever had but I had absolutely no complaints about it. Everything was so delicious about this sandwich, it just wasn't enough for me to say it was the best. Still an incredible sandwich and the bread is PERFECT! Not too thick and crunchy enough to not hurt the top of your mouth! Jiu-Jitsu Steak Sandwich: Now this was something. Personally for me, I'm not a fan of steak sandwiches but this was super flavorful and the sauce really complimented the meet. Again, the bread they put on these sandwiches is awesome! Sweet Potato Tater Tots: I was surprised that I liked this better than the regular tater tots. This was so super crunchy, salty, and sweet. MUST TRY! Regular Tater Tots: very solid tater tots! Everything tater tots needs to be. We came around 3pm and apparently the store closes at 4 and reopens at 6pm to make sure everything is fresh. Considering this, they still let us sit past 4pm and chatted with us. Shout out to the crew and the owner who introduced himself to us and was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will be back and everyone should check this place out!
google avatar

Ezac T.

Yelp
Wow wow wow. This place is the epitome of quality, passionate sandwiches. Worth every penny for any and everything you get here. The owner was there, breaking down the process for each sandwich, giving us ordering advice. The chimichurri steak is on another level. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Easily would go out the way to return. Ordering hack: go with a friend and split half and half .
google avatar

Yelp
Okay, sooo obviously I came here because of the reviews and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The staff is beyond friendly, as soon as you walk in you're greeted with kindness and a welcoming environment. I placed my order ahead of time but was craving something to drink AND to my surprise they had papaya smoothie as an option. It tasted just like my moms! Being dominican, this did not disappoint. We tried two sandwiches. Jui-Juistu was DELICIOUS. Very flavorful, and perfect serving size. DR 3 hits was exactly what you expect. 3 golpes in every bite! We're coming back for sure!
google avatar

Alina D.

Yelp
The French Cuban and the sweet potato tots are amazing!!! Will go back and try all of the sandwichitos!!!!! So delicious!!!! Service was excellent!!
google avatar

Anna U.

Yelp
All their sandwiches - amazing quality and very delicious. Tater tots are the best. They also have good desserts. The place is great for taking out. They do have some tables, but when it's busy it's not always possible to dine in. The services are amazing, no matter how busy they get. Nice ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
Was greeted immediately by the owner Markin and knew it was first time but have to say after trying the jiu jitsu steak and tater tots I have to say I need to go back and try more items off the menu, it is a hidden spot off of river road but once you find it you can't miss it and folks as far as Massachusetts come and want to try his sandwiches, I have to go and try the D.R.3 Hits sandwich next, they take cash or card. Enjoy!
google avatar

Arnold B.

Yelp
What a great experience. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable about fan favorites, and swift with taking our order. Wait time was about 15 minutes Food wise the sweet potato tots were sweet, airy but crunchy. I bought the homemade cheese sauce to pair but I think it would've been better on regular tots. Although the complimentary chipotle sauce went well with it. Overall, I think regular ketchup works just fine. I enjoyed the DR 3 Hits and substituted the plantain for a baguette instead. I enjoy the well known tres golpe breakfast and putting it into a sandwich was as great as a stand alone plate. The salami was delicious and eggs well seasoned. Can never go wrong with fried cheese either, overall 10/10 My wife enjoyed her Jim Jitsu steak and said it was tender. This caramelized onions added a good sweetness to it too. I think next time I'll try their juices and the "Red Machine" option. A couple ordered it next to us and it looked great!
google avatar

Leydiana S.

Yelp
We tried the jiu jitsu, chicken milanese, and the Philly special. The jiu jitsu was too greasy for my taste but the sandwich does have tons of flavor. The chicken milanese was really good, chicken was fried perfectly and the flavor was super good. My favorite was the Philly special, perfect amount of cheese and meat and the bread went with it perfectly. The sandwiches are enough to share. They are on the pricey side but the sandwiches were good and filling.
google avatar

Yelp
After dreaming about the Jiu Jitsu steak for a few months now, I've finally made it to Sandwichitos! I love the funky neon logo. Upon entering the shop i noticed how clean and orderly it was and how busy! It is a little tight in here with limited seating, so if you are going during peak hours, you may want to have an alternate place to enjoy your sandwich just in case. It was busy when we arrived, but once we got our food, seats started opening up and we were able to stay. We got the jiu jitsu steak and the holy cow to share (halfsies!), sweet potato tater tots with cheese on the side, a blackberry fruit-ito shake with milk, and took home a banana pudding and strawberry shortcake to enjoy later. To be honest I was a little disappointed with the Jiu Jitsu steak sandwich but I do think this is more of a preference thing and I don't want to discourage anyone from getting it because it was still very tasty! It was a little too greasy for my liking between the generous chimichurri spread and the fried onions. I do like my chimichurri to have a little more of a vinegar-y acid element to cut through the heavier elements of the sandwich, so that's my only feedback for that one. The Holy Cow? No notes. It had all the right proportions of meat, sauce and fixings. YUM. The sweet potato tots were super soft in the middle and nice and crisp on the outside. None of that weird rice-y texture that tots tend to have. They were so easy to just keep popping in our mouths. The cheese sauce was really tasty too, at first I wasn't sure about dipping sweet potato in cheese sauce but this cheese sauce was so good that I'd probably dip anything in it. I will definitely get a sandwich that involves the cheese sauce next time. The blackberry smoothie tasted great and very fresh. The banana pudding was delicious as well! We had a great experience here, the staff was efficient even with the nonstop lunch crowd, and the woman who worked the register was so nice and welcoming.

Yelp
Ok as always let's start with the parking. It's street parking only and limited. The good thing is that is a quiet street. The food was delicious. I had the Jiu-Jitsu sandwich and my wife had the French Cuban sandwich. We both had regular tater tots. Again we both enjoyed the food and they give a big portion of the tots. The service was very good. Everything was well organized and the staff were very pleasant. The place is clean. I did notice that to get to the bathroom you need to walk through the kitchen but in my experience there's some very good restaurants that have this situation. Now we get to something not so good. The seating is very very limited inside. Outside again very limited and no cover from the elements so if you're coming to eat and the weather is not good you will most likely find yourself taking it to go. Ok that's it. And if you want to know if I'd go back the answer is yes.

Ankit P.

Yelp
ordered a variety of sandwiches, but unfortunately, they don't allow custom toppings. I decided to try them as-is, and I was pretty disappointed. The steak sandwich was especially bad--way too sweet--and the rest were just okay. I had high hopes because of all the hype on TikTok, but it definitely didn't live up to it.

Yelp
Saw a video on TikTok and knew I had to try this place. I live about 50 mins away and it was worth the trip. We came down on a Saturday for lunch and it was PACKED. A good sign. I ordered the DR 3 Hits because I'm Dominican so how could I not. To explain, a traditional Dominican breakfast is mashed green plantains, fried salami, fried cheese, fried eggs, and sautéed pickles onions. We call it "Los tres golpes". It translates more to "the three blows. It was out of this world. One friend ordered the Jui-Jitsu (chimichurri beef) and he said he didn't want to the sandwich to end. I tried it and it was really good. My other friend had the French Cuban and loved it. We all got shakes. They shared mango made with milk. I had passion fruit with water. It was delicious and refreshing. The inside is very small and we were lucky enough to grab seats. I will be back.

Yelp
The food was okay, the Jiu-Jitsu was too sweet for my liking and overpriced. I was really looking forward to it but don't see myself coming back. The sweat potato tots were delicious. The staff were super friendly though and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Maybe in the future I'll give it another try.

Yelp
I saw on the gram that Sandwichitos has life-changing sandwiches. The masses were right. Deeeelish!! All the sandwiches were familiar flavors but Sandwichitos throws in their own special twists. I had the Spanish Pig in Italy. Think Tommy Dinics roast pork & broccoli rabe but with Spanish pork!! I'm all for EXTRA flavor! So garlicky and tasty! Paired with Sweet Potato Tots...YUMMMMM! Also got the Jiu-Jitsu Steak which a lot of people were getting. That chimichurri needs to be bottled. Omg!!! Exchanged niceties with the owner. So personable and attentive. That matters tons! One table & one high top. Counter seats. That's all. Some tables outside. But the food is awesome! One of the best lunches I've had in a while. We even ordered the Red Machine to go! So good! Only thing I DIDN'T like was that parking is scarce. No Parking Any Time signs everywhere. 3 Hour Parking if you can get a space.

Yelp
OMG the best sandwiches ever, a little pricey but well worth it. The line was out the door so you know they're good.

Yelp
Sandwiches are on point, we tried the jiu-jitsu sandwichito and it was solid. Sweet potato tater tots were unique though I'd likely opt for the normal version next time as that's what I'm used to. Ingredients are fresh, service is lovely and the inside has a warm, fun vibe. Saw a ton of people come from neighboring towns and enjoy a Friday fun lunch. We really enjoyed talking to the owner and learning about how he started his business and the operational challenges that come with running a food industry business. Welcome addition to the neighborhood, everyone's gotta check it out! It's gone viral! Just look on Instagram! We live close by and will recommend to all our neighbors craving a mouthwatering sandwich and place that sets your mood right!

Yelp
Love this place. Great sandwiches and service. Best tots ive ever had. But the chicken parm (Big Red Machine) always hits. The French Cuban is another fave. I work at Trader Joes down the street and eat here at least twice a week. People might say its pricey, but the sandwiches are huge and always fill me up. If i even can finish it.

Yelp
We ordered the following: - Philly Special Sandwich (thinly shaved ribeye w/ homemade cheese sauce & caramelized onions) - Chicken Milanese Sandwich (breaded chicken cutlet w/ homemade olive spread, seasoned arugula & mozzarella cheese) - Tater Tots The Philly Special was full of flavor. Normally I'll tend to add hot sauce but this sandwich didn't even need it because it was delicious on its own. The Chicken Milanese was also very flavorful. I loved how thin and crispy the chicken was. If anything I might want some mayo or some sort of sauce to bring it all together. We really enjoyed both sandwiches though. We weren't expecting much with the Tater Tots but were pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were. Even though it arrived via Ubereats the tots were still crispy and hot. The price point is a bit on the higher side. Almost $70 for 2 sandwiches and tots is a bit much. Would def order more frequently if it was a bit cheaper.

Yelp
If I could give this new kid in town 10 stars, I would! When I called up - just to tell them that they were so very good that they were going to be putting other sandwich shops in the neighborhood out of business. The woman I was speaking with laughed and told me her sandwiches were so good because she put extra love in them. Boy, did she ever! Truly, the best sandwich we've ever had. Fresh, hot, juicy and delicious - I'm already thinking about when we can order from them again.
