15 Best Spots to Eat Under $25 on Sandy Springs’ Restaurant Row | Eater Atlanta

"An old-school menu with old(er)-school pricing is exactly why everyone loves a good diner. Breakfast all day for under $14, overstuffed sandwiches for $13 with fries, big portions of rib-sticking traditional American dishes like roast turkey, and strip steaks for $20 and $22, respectively, make it a crowd-pleaser." - Su-Jit Lin

• FOOD ~ Sandy Springs Diner has GREAT diner food! We usually stop in for breakfast. IF you like EGGS BENEDICT, you'll love the portions they offer here. You get and extra egg, ham and muffin. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are very good. They offer delicious mimosas in several flavors. • SERVICE ~ I always ask to sit in MARK'S section. He is my favorite server, not only here, but of any restaurant I've been to in Georgia. He's always friendly, polite, professional and fast. I rarely have to ask for anything because he's very attentive. If I ever open my own restaurant, I'm stealing Mark away to manage my serving staff 😏😁 • ATMOSPHERE ~ The atmosphere is definitely "DINER". Its basic, but clean and nicely spaced. The tables aren't crammed together. The noise is moderate, it's ok to have fun conversation without bothering anyone. They welcome large groups. Kids are fine here as long as they are seated and don't run around. This establishment is handicapped accessible with tables close to the entrance. They also have a counter you can dine at which is a great space to read the paper or catch up on laptop work. We highly recommend this restaurant ✅️

Great food and generous portions. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming despite the constant busyness and the line of customers waiting for tables that could otherwise make someone frazzled!

Today, we had lunch at Sandy Springs Diner, and it was an excellent choice. We ordered the fish sandwich and the patty melt, both served with crispy French fries. We also got a side of delicious onion rings. The food arrived hot and fresh, and the patty melt was absolutely delightful. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the onion rings were delicious. The staff provided outstanding service, making us feel incredibly welcome and adding to the overall experience. I can't wait to come back for the patty melt.

Google
Just an average diner experience. A friend recommended this place, claiming they had "the best pancakes," but honestly, the pancakes were just okay at best. If you’re local, I’d say it’s passable, but if you’re thinking about traveling here, I’d suggest exploring other options in the area. The wait staff seemed disinterested or even annoyed, which didn’t help the experience. Probably won’t be coming back.

Three of us had breakfast for supper, and one of us had the patty melt. All of the food was hot and fresh, and we all enjoyed our meals. The portions were large enough for leftovers which will definitely be eaten!! The wait staff was excellent and even danced along with our toddler. This was our first time eating here, and we will certainly be back!!

Google
Overall this place wasn’t too bad In desperate need of a revamp. It felt a bit dingy and dated inside. Extensive menu & obviously a staple within the community- they were getting back to back to go orders. I’m not a huge fan of breakfast food so I kept it simple, corn beef hash & cheese grits. Or waitress was good , very persistent. I’ll be back again & maybe I’ll try something new.

Google
Expect lots of food and affordable prices. 2 eggs Chopped steak Home style potatoes Buttermilk biscuit Next visit. A bit disappointing. Owner/manager was not accompanying or customer-pleasing. Too disappointed to discuss it. I will explain soon...

Large portions delivered quickly. Great dollar value!! The baked spaghetti was wonderful. Mark our waiter took his time and did not rush us. He explained the different desserts very well and helped with our selection.

Yelp
My husband and I are always down for trying out a local diner. There's just something about the taste of fresh brewed coffee in an oil sleeked (but mostly clean) diner mug. Nothing fancy about this place and just a heads up, it's definitely more of a local spot. Not the friendliest of crews running this joint but our server, though dry, was still entertaining and overall was friendly. Not really planning on returning with the multitude of options all over the Atlanta area but worth the try!

Yelp
It's my first time here and it's exactly what I wanted. Except the mess of a bathroom. The staff are nice. It's quiet. I'm killing time. They have free wifi and my data isn't working for some reason so it's great. My food just arrived and it's tasty and we'll presented.. I'll definitely be back 3 stars for the restroom

Yelp
A favorite place for a lot of food! Food is always delicious and they give you plenty to take home for later. They have the biggest menu I've ever seen. The waitress and waiters are great and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable.

Yelp
I typically associate diners with generic breakfast foods only, but the Sandy Springs Diner has a lot going for it. The award for the largest menu? Sandy Springs Diner. The place to go any time for any occasion? Sandy Springs Diner. A place where I can get authentic Greek dishes?? Sandy Springs Diner! That's right, the Sandy Springs Diner will have pretty much whatever you're craving, at a relatively good cost and quality. I mentioned Greek food earlier, but the Sandy Springs Diner has a ton of other things as well. They have breakfast items, sandwiches, dinner meals, fish, meat, vegetarian options, you name it! I won't lie, when I first came to this place, I wasn't looking for Greek food, but that's what I ended up getting. Their Combination Greek platter gets you a big spinach pie, a serving of moussaka, a portion of pastichio, gyro and chicken meat for $22. This mountain of food is easily one of their best deals. Most of the items on this platter is pretty good. The moussaka was my favorite, the eggplant was baked very well and the meat and potatoes complimented with it very well. The meats weren't dry and could be eaten with some tzatziki. The spinach pie was flakey and warm and delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of the pastichio, but everything else was fantastic! I can also say that their breakfast items are fantastic as well. I came in, in the mood for french toast and Sandy Springs Diner delivered. Their french toast was done well, and came with bacon, ham and sausage. The meats were a bit overdone, but the star of the show was on point. Overall, Sandy Springs Diner is a fantastic value option for those who want a ton of optionality. Their wait staff is very nice, but can be slow at times. The interior and vibe the restaurant gives is straight diner-esque. Come give it a try, 9 menu pages are waiting for you!

Yelp
Sandy Springs diner has the look and feel of a family diner, and it delivers on that experience. It is exactly what I look for in a diner. In terms of eating it has: 1. A really extensive menu 2. Generous portions and reasonable prices 3. Fresh and tasty food 4. Epic cakes, including Baklava cheesecake if you're lucky Service is always fast and friendly. Been there numerous times and continue coming back.

Yelp
Food good when they supply what you order. Be careful when ordering through grubhub I have been ordering approximately once per month Looking back. The order had something missing literally half the time About 3 month ago, half the order and the beverages were not delivered. Today it was "just" one item. . I think I give up

Yelp
Great menu selection! Something for everyone! I opted for the Sandy Spring Special (club sandwich) which came served with steak-cut fries. It was plated beautifully and quite tasty! Your basic club sandwich served between three slices of bread, tomatoes, lettuce, American cheese, ham, turkey, and mayo. Our server was very quick to refill our iced teas! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a typical diner with lots of options but the food quality is good too. This time I got the French fries. They're more like steak fries and I think i they are some of my favorite fries in Atlanta. They also reheat surprisingly well I think because they are thicker. We also got a slice of the Oreo cake to go and 3 days later, it still tasted so moist and fresh. On previous visits we've have full entrees and they were good too!

Yelp
I recently retuned again to share my previous biscuit experience with someone else; third time after my first visit. I live 30+ minutes away from this establishment, without traffic. Otherwise, I would probably have been a constant and maybe even daily regular here. They still have good food, however, an item in my omelette didn't agree with me. In fact, it gave me the same reaction as a particular food ingredient that I am allergic to. There was no mention of it in the menu. I notified our server, who took the plate and said she would send the manager to our table. Within approximately three minutes we saw the manager walk past our table, warmly greet the patrons at another table, then walk past our table again without acknowledging us, to do the same with another table behind us. Moments later our server brought me a new plate of food minus the previous troubling ingredient. As a result, I simply thought all was well. Then, when it was time for the receipt the server began vigorously typing it up on the electronic devices they use, where they tell you the amount and you insert your card (I guess you would simply supply cash if that's the chosen form of payment). For some reason I requested a paper copy and I'm so glad I did. The item that was removed from my food was still on the bill. No problem, I thought. Probably just an oversight. When the server returned for payment I informed them of what I perceived was an error. The server said the manager told her to leave it on the bill. Then the server asked if the manager had stopped by the table. I said he hadn't then requested he do so After several minutes passed, the manager didn't approach our table as we saw him do so previously at the other two tables. Instead, he was crouched down, not standing up like he was at the other tables. He poked his head around the end of the wall where our table was located, barely made eye contact then asked if there was a problem with the ingredient. I said there was for me. He presented an adjusted receipt then swiftly walked away. He offered no apology and was, quite frankly, downright rude and unprofessional. Even though I think they have good biscuits, and solely because of the way my guest (their first time there because of my recommendation) and I were treated, I cannot in good conscience patronize this place again. Furthermore, I won't bring my many loved ones to this establishment that treats even one customers with such contempt as I did. I shouldn't have to pay for something that caused what felt like an allergic reaction. Bottom line, always view the paper copy to make sure you're not being over charged. I no longer recommend highly.

Yelp
Weirdest thing happened tonight.... Around 7 PM this evening, my husband and I decided to check out the diner since it was close to home. We're immediately seated when we arrive. The WAITRESS takes our drink order. Our drinks are delivered by a different WAITER. Not a big deal. The WAITRESS returns to take our food order. We order mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The WAITER returns to our table to apologize and says they just ran out of mozzarella sticks. No big deal. The WAITRESS returns to take our food order. My husband orders chicken. She says, oh I'm sorry, we're all out. .... Just give us the check for the drinks and we'll leave. It felt kinda weird but I didn't wanna take a chance ordering anything at the point. It felt like we just weren't welcome there. I got the message loud and clear.

Yelp
I don't know how long this place has been here, but I just started coming here this year! I regret I've missed all these years of dining at this place! They have great food and great service and are consistently good in their coffee. I've only been here for breakfast, but always get the same corn beef hash with potatoes in eggs , and I'm never disappointed! They have friendly service and it's often fast during lunchtime however, like many places, they may slow down a bit, but I always get my food within 20 minutes of ordering it. They're consistent with refilling my cup with fresh, hot coffee! Will return here again, and again.

Yelp
I call this my office away from home. I've been there hundreds of times. Food and service is always exceptional and they serve huge portions. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner options

Yelp
I ordered Greek Omelette with Spinach. Lupita's service was amazing, attentive and nice. Food came out timely and hot. The ambiance was quiet, music playing in background but relaxing to me. I visited on a Wednesday morning about 9am. It was nice and I will come back when I'm in the area if time permits.

Yelp
Very busy, little wait..... party of 7 They sat us in our own area an the staff was very attentive. All orders were filled without errors (understanding it was 7ppl things get mixed up). Let's talk about these Pancakes.....there were 3 and they were fluffy and thick. My gosh absolutely delicious!!!!! 10/10 must try. So I forgot to take photos because I was hungry from the night before (its a celebration). The scrambled hard with cheese is never comes out right....you will see the lump of cheese on the plate with a few Pancakes. Now the home fries, they were blessed by the potato angel herself...... it was heavenly each bite. Do I recommend absolutely 10/10 and will come back for sure.

Yelp
I love diners but this was just average - at best. Not wonderful; I will not be returning.

Yelp
This meal was not good. The country fried steak had so much gristle, it was not edible. The mashed potatoes were bland and the gravy was not good. Even the broccoli was not good. Truly a disappointment from a normally pretty decent meal.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast though they serve lunch and dinner as well. Our breakfast today was good, fresh, and plentiful. Food was very good though hash browns could have been seasoned some from the griddle. The hot cakes were perfect, light, and fluffy. Biscuits are made from scratch and were amazingly good; Crusted surface yet soft and moist inside! Good alone but even better with butter and jam! Service was quite good and attentive as well, definitely not understaffed. We'll definitely be back and even try lunch or dinner too!

James S.

Yelp
Edited earlier review. just don't do it. Prices up food quality down. Country fried steak used to be good, now it's a prepackaged patty. deep fried was so hard the gravy could not help... found gristle the size of my pinky

Yelp
Always great service and food. I got my favorite tuna salad platter last night. For years, this has been a staple. Definitely recommend. Oh. Their desserts are amazing too!!

Yelp
My previous review (I have removed it) 8 days ago: "THE BISCUITS ALONE ~ OMG!!! Melt in your mouth good! And, I'm not much of a biscuit eater. I will bring all of my hometown visitors here! Highly recommended diner." I'm lowering the rating. I began doing as I said. I brought someone there the other day. All was well except there was an item in the omelette I ordered that had an ingredient that I am allergic to. I had no idea it had this ingredient. I notified the server, who took the plate back and she said she was going to notify the manager. He was supposed to come to my table, but didn't. I watched him walk past my table to another then walk back past again without stopping. Minutes later the server was back with a new plate of food. All was well until time for the bill. The server began typing it up on the hand-held electronic devices they use. For some reason I asked for the paper bill. Good thing I did. I noticed the item that was removed from my food had been left on the bill. When I informed the server she said the manager told her to leave it on the bill. She asked if he stopped by. When I told her he hadn't I asked her to have him come to the table. He arrived at the table with NO apology; barely any acknowledgment. He arrived with an adjusted bill then walked away. Very disappointed with his behavior which was tantamount to a level of disrespect. Moral of the story: always check your itemized paper bill over the electronic version. Not sure if I have the same feeling about this place anymore.

Yelp
Tons of options on the menu and big portions! I think I ate my meal over 2-3 sittings because it was so much food. This is a great breakfast spot and a good bang for your buck (which is super important these days)!

Yelp
Diners are noted for their extensive menu selections. Sandy Springs Diner will not disappoint. The restaurant is Greek run and the menu includes breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner fare. Our group was a party of four and each one of us ordered differently. We all thought our selection was terrific. Note: the portion sizes are large and the prices are reasonable. The establishment ambiance is in keeping with a traditional diner. It is comfortable, and well maintained. A special shoutout to our server. She was attentive, quick and efficient. She was knowledgeable about menu items, handled our selections with ease and she was a delight to us. I recommend this restaurant over any other similar establishment in the area. There might be a wait list. However, the turnover goes quickly and your party will be seated quickly.

Yelp
The German chocolate cake was pretty good but very coconutty, but great nonetheless and moist. The sausage gravy and biscuits was different as the sausage wasn't cooked into the gravy but rather they gave you a piece of sausage on a biscuit and covered average gravy on it. The coffee was typical diner coffee (not good) and the hashbrowns were very thick and not cubed but not exactly shredded . The pancakes were average as was the French toast

Mark J.

Yelp
I was verbally abused by the owner. He argued with me repeatedly about how I didn't say what I wanted. The owner came to take my order after being very short and rude to my waitress. I simply ordered 2 eggs scrambled and hash browns with cheese and sautéed onions in both and wanted them extra well. I said they could burn them. My waitress from a distance verified my order and the owner didn't have cheese on my eggs. He says very rudely out loud from behind counter a good distance away that I never asked for cheese on my eggs! When my eggs came back with raw onions I said these are not well, then this mean spirited person says in a smart a$$ way I didn't say that? When I explained that it's like people don't know what sautéed means any more. He then YANKS MY PLATE AWAY! , and follows me out the door continuously being rude. When I heard enough I said this was the worst dinning experience I ever had, then he calls me a racist! I'm like what? Do yourself a favor and NEVER EAT HERE! Even the two sweet waitresses agreed with me he is mean. Went right next door to Waffle House and was welcomed like I walked into Cheers!!!

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised and satisfied by the service and the food! We arrived right after Sandy Springs Diner opened, and had absolutely no trouble finding available parking around the restaurant. Sandy Springs Diner is in a standalone building, and it is surrounded by parking lots, both its own and in a large lot shared by neighboring businesses. One of the employees immediately welcomed us, sat us down at a booth closest to the restrooms, and provided us menus. My goodness! This diner has such an extensive menu that will take customers a while to read through if they don't know what they want to order: breakfasts (served all day), griddle specialties, snacks, appetizers, sandwiches, quesadillas, burgers, salads, a variety of entrees, desserts, wines and beers, and a kids' menu. For breakfast, I ordered the Sandy Springs Diner Breakfast Special: Two eggs, any style (I ordered mine over medium), two buttermilk pancakes, sausage, bacon, and home fries, toast, pita bread or biscuit and butter (I ordered the biscuit and butter). R ordered Belgian waffles with bacon. After we ordered, I got up to look closely at the great looking pies, cakes and eclairs in a tall display case. The German chocolate cake looked perfectly made and presented. After waiting about 15 minutes for our food, a food runner served our food, which was nice and hot. R loved the waffles; they were a little crunchy on the outside, yet light and not dry on the inside. I liked everything about my meal except for the pancakes, which were dense and dry. I at first thought that the cook forgot to add the home fries, but these were hidden by the biscuit, sausage patty and three bacon strips. This meal was so filling and satisfying! Our server was quick and efficient, and was able to answer our questions about different menu items. She and one or two more servers worked all of the tables. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant was almost at full capacity with customers, many of whom it seemed were regulars. We will be returning.

Yelp
I love diners! Keep the ambience simple but you get good food and reasonable prices. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile by the host son a Saturday at about 11:30! As all diners do they have yummy cakes and desserts in a glass container to view/imbibe/purchase! I was seated right away and greeted with a beautiful smile by my gorgeous waitress named . They serve breakfast all day and sometimes I love a great breakfast so I ordered the Sandy Springs Special for $11.99. Bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, home fries and 2 pancakes! Yummmy!!! Bang for the buck and delicious!!! An area of opportunity would be the team approach when refilling coffee. A waitress walked right past my empty mug and refilled her table. I asked her if she could also please fill mine but that should be automatic. Since then I have gone back two other times... second visit food good but mediocre service. Thor time mediocre service food not so hot. So very different experiences! I think i have had my fill for a while if not all together. I would say good but proceed with caution!

Yelp
This classic diner looked good online but it just wasn't great. The spinach pie a Greek favorite of mine was a bit over cooked. More dough than filling. Salad was good. But not really good enough to keep this place in rotation. Wait staff were friendly and quick. Busy location.

A J.

Yelp
I was the first to-go order of a Saturday morning. While the Cuck manager sat at the bar and a server mistakenly told me my food was "still cooking" it was actually in front of me at the cash register the whole time. 20 minutes later and no apology, I paid for it anyway. Y'all suck. McDonalds is King.

Yelp
We live super close to this diner and always wanted to try it out. We were turned off by the recent bad reviews for a while but finally decided to try it out ourselves. We actually had a great experience and the service was very good! We were seated immediately and taken care of right away. I ordered the eggs Benedict while my fiancé ordered the sandy springs breakfast special. His came with scrambled eggs w/ cheese, sausage, bacon, home fries, toast, and French toast. My eggs Benedict came with Canadian bacon, 2 poached eggs, English muffin, hollandaise sauce and lots of home fries. The food was delicious and well portioned for the price.

Yelp
UPDATE - just go read the other negative reviews on Google and see how they are replied to. Completely in shock about how they treat there customers for giving their own opinion. If I could give negative 1000 stars I would. I'm not the type of person to leave horrible reviews. However over the holiday weekend and my family ordered 53$ worth of food. I spoke with the Togo people and asked specifically to check the stuff as we needed syrups. Utensils. Etc. my husband went to get the food. Asked the lady at the counter if it was all inside etc. she rushed him out and said yes goodbye. He gets home. The entire order is wrong. I calll back and the owner of the diner - Nicholas answers. Said he would refund me for one of my kids meals as a courtesy. However. I ordered kids meals and the French toast plate but only received one syrup and butter. But that is besides the point. I call back again today. And the owner nicholas answers. I'm asking why my refund did not hit as the full charge still pended through on my account. I told him I was upset bc this was not ok if I was told one thing and still charged the entire balance. Nicholas then began to get hostile with me and tell me he is the owner and I'm not going to get a refund and to go through my bank. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back to ask why he was treating me this way and he said because he could basically. I did not yell. Raise my voice or anything. So I'm not sure why I was treated so poorly by the owner of Sandy springs diner. Maybe he was offended I asked for a refund as my order was in accurate. all in all if you like being spoken down to or disrespected call them and ask for their OWNER. Nicholas.

Yelp
Went and had brunch over the weekend. Great eats and service. The french toast was crazy good!

Scott G.

Yelp
My first time trying the diner and I would not recommend it. I had the steak and eggs and was one of the worst steaks I have ever eaten. After three bites I could not stomach any more. The eggs had cheese in them and they were so runny you could suck them through a straw. And definitely don't order the root beer. It is so sweet that you can't even drink it. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Don't waste your time

Jerilin N.

Yelp
Sandy Springs Diner was a great place to happen upon with my family. The food is delicious and the service was wonderful. My crowd was a bit rowdy with a couple of toddlers at the table but the waitress took it all in stride and somehow managed to get everyone's order correct. I recommend this place if you like Greek food, the servings were enormous and provided for lunch the next day as well!

Blue B.

Yelp
Loved this place and went out of my travel to come to your restaurant. I brought guest with me this time and the food was terrible. My chicken was like wood planks and one of my guest said the same thing. I love bakalava and ordered two servings to the table and two servings to take home. The ones we took home were so old and stale. Please Nick get control of this we love your place. The two servers there were stuck in their phones. Twice we had to shout across the room for service. I miss the sweet lady that was there. We were there on April 1, 2024.

Yelp
The omelette was great with turkey sausage. The grits were bland and needed a lot of help. I ordered the food through u er eats . The food arrived on time as expected. The lady had the Philly cheesesteak omelette and she said it was awesome. All in All it was great. Just didn't feel like going anywhere this morning. Most definitely will get the omelette again that had spinach feta tomatoes, mushrooms and onions along with chicken sausage.
google avatar

Yelp
This is an old-style diner, complete with a huge menu and even bigger portions. You can have breakfast any time, a great burger, or a Greek specialty dish such as pastischio. Service is warm and friendly, and the food is well-prepared.
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure what happened but they've raised their prices and food quality suffered. Their prices are randomly chosen and out of line with food prices everywhere. Owner cares less about his customers and fired the manager pre-covid(bald guy) who cares and it showed.
google avatar

Leah M.

Yelp
The is a clean and cute diner. For the most part the decor is up to date not the diner your maw maw has been going to since paw paw asked to marry her at the soda counter. But it still has a familiar and neighborly intimate feel. The service is fair we had a male server who was training another employee. It may have been the owner/manager as he was slightly rigid with a somewhat arrogant delivery that you can tell, 'that's just how he is!. I ordered the Sandy Springs Diner breakfast special which was good and plentiful. My sister had the Chicken Cutlet sandwich that came with fries and Cole slaw of which we had to remind them it was missing. 'Oh you want cole slaw?' 'Heck yeah it on the description and I'm paying for it'! See the slight communication issue here? Well we enjoyed our food and had enough to both take some to go. This made the price well worth it! It's near the house so I'll visit again!

Yelp
The Sandy Springs diner is located deep in Sandy Springs Close to Roz well. The parking in my opinion is pretty good at least every time I've went. I used to live in this area and would never visit this place because the reviews were not that great but I decided to give it a chance anyway. Now it's like one of my go to places. I think this place is owned by Greeks, which is cool because there is a lot of Greek dishes on the menu along with a bunch of other food items.I typically always start my meal out with a bowl of Greek lemon chicken soup. It's so good and filling. My second go to was the tuna melt, I just really like tuna. The way they make it here it's very tasty on rye and I added provolone instead of American and doubled up on the lettuce instead of tomato. It also comes with steak fries which was it tasty addition.

Yelp
I had no idea this place was here until one of my running buddies suggested it after a local race. I lived in this area for 4 years and never knew it existed. It sits off Roswell Road, near the Northridge exit, in the same shipping center as the Sandy Springs DMV. It's very easy to miss and not a ton of parking. It's certainly a diner atmosphere walking in, almost divey. I've been here twice now with running buddies after local road races, and it is an A OK spot for breakfast. I spent way too much the first time, ordering a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, plus 3 pieces of ham and scrambled eggs. The Belgian waffles are decent here, and I did like the ham. The coffee is alright. Service was exceptional on both trips. My second trip, I got the sandy springs diner special, and that was better for the wallet, plus I couldn't finish it all. It came with two large pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuit, sausage and hash browns. Lots of food for under $10. I believe we all got that. I'd certainly come back here if I'm close to the river for an easy breakfast. Nothing stands out but it'll fill you up.

Yelp
The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Our waitress was very nice and cheery. She also kept on top of our drinks and checked in a couple times to see if we needed anything. I ordered breakfast for lunch and it came out hot, the pancakes were fluffy, and everything was cooked as ordered. My parents had stuff off the lunch menu and said the chicken and the pastrami were both flavorful. It is a great place to eat any time of day. What really made this worth the 5 stars was the service.

Yelp
Solid diner. Rounding up to 4 stars because the people were friendly. I came here about an hour before closing for a quick dinner en route to my hotel -- I was actually headed to Waffle House next door, but saw this place and figured it was worth the try. I had the grilled cheese, bacon, and tomato sandwich along with some potato salad and a side green salad. The side salad was quite nice, the potato salad was not exactly to my Yankee taste (there was one pimento kind-of flavor that didn't work for me), and the sandwich was awesome. My server was southern charm incarnate. Net/net: solid diner with very good service. I'd come again anytime.

Yelp
Normally I don't review restaurants if it's a bad experience, mostly I just don't recommend them. I have to let people know to NOT DO THIS TO THEMSELVES. I love brunch, it's literally my favorite type of meal. Came with my wife, service was mediocre at best, expect a 20+ minute wait to get your food. I ordered the Sandy Springs Diner Breakfast Special, the hash browns were burnt, I mean, you could scrape the top with your fork and hear it. The eggs tasted like they were from a bag. The sausage patty was rubbery and could start a fire in your esophagus (instant heartburn) the biscuit was good. The pancakes had a weird taste to them, can't really describe it. For those of you who've served: an MRE would be a 5 star meal in comparison. I wanted to try this restaurant since it's so close to my home, but with the service and food I received today. I'm going to be skipping this place going forward.

Yelp
Awesome food and service is 5 star! Victoria was on top of her game with fast friendly service as soon as I walked in the door. If you like the Marietta Diner, you'll love the Sandy Springs Diner even more. Their portions are huge and the menu offers as much food as the Cheesecake Factory with breakfast served all day. My new favorite restaurant in Sandy Springs!

Yelp
My wife and in laws are Greek. They love the lemon-chicken (Avgolemono) soup. Although I am not a huge fan of that type of soup, if you are it is a must get.

Yelp
It's classic diner food. We didn't have to wait for a table but it was very crowded. The menu has a huge array of American food, Italian, Greek and the portions are all huge. I ordered the gyro combo with a Greek salad and fries. The dressing is ok; not my favorite Greek dressing and I would've liked more lettuce variety than iceberg but the gyro & fries were good. It wasn't anything too exciting unless you really like cheese because they gave a ton of that. I ended up eating this for 2 meals as it was so much food. They have dessert but we didn't have room for any. There is plenty of parking even if you have to walk a little and it's super noticeable from the road. The menu is huge so take your time looking through it. They have some pictures to help, as well.

Yelp
Terrible service! I won't be back. Wanted over 30mins for my food and then when I asked about the food the waitress had a attitude. I don't need the attitude I can take my money elsewhere
