The restaurant makes for an excellent post-Barton Springs lunch spot: The old-fashioned, no-frills cheeseburger hits all the right notes — hot, salty, and just a little bit messy — and costs about $6. Adding a malted shake (try the butterscotch or Oreo) or dipped frozen custard cone is a non-negotiable. Grab your burgers and dessert at the walk-up window and snag a picnic table outside.
